The Jews were still in Egypt, and were presently about to go up; so that, had they been willing, they would have found no small kindling of piety here.
For if even now the remains are pointed out, much more would they have been shown at that time, when the events were fresh; and the magnitude of what had happened, and all who were in Arabia, would have known it.
