ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).
In addition to what has been said, the Bride sets forth these words also to the Bridegroom, out of the utmost humility of mind and out of an intensified longing for the good things to come:
That is: O my Bridegroom, You who repose both upon the intelligible creation and upon the sensible, as upon gardens planted after the manner of Your own will;
there are others besides us who gaze upon You without turning away, since they are not divided by the bond of a body — the wholly immaterial and angelic ranks;
For when You summon the righteous into Your kingdom prepared for them from the foundation of the world, You wholly withdraw from Your providence toward us that comes through sensible things, drawing those who are worthy up to the heights of the graces which spiritually breathe forth their fragrance upon them in deification;
in which, like a gazelle or the young of a hind, destructive of venomous beasts, You put to death the spirits of wickedness that rage against us, bringing to rest their war against us.
