📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Vulgate, Ge'ez Bible)
ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

If the clouds are full of rain, they pour it out on the earth; and if a tree falls in the south, or if in the north, in the place where the tree falls, there it will be.
Among these things there is no one who knows what the way of the spirit is, or how bones are in the womb of a pregnant woman; so you will not know the works of God, all that he will do.
In the morning sow your seed, and toward evening do not let your hand rest, for you do not know which will prosper, this or that, or whether the two of them are alike good.
For even if a man lives many years, he shall be glad in all of them; and he shall remember the days of darkness, for they will be many. All that comes is vanity.
Rejoice, young man, in your youth, and let your heart do you good in the days of your youth; and walk in the ways of your heart and in the sight of your eyes; but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment.
