16:1
καὶ εἶπεν Ιουδιθ ἐξάρχετε τῷ θεῷ μου ἐν τυμπάνοις ᾄσατε τῷ κυρίῳ ἐν κυμβάλοις ἐναρμόσασθε αὐτῷ ψαλμὸν καὶ αἶνον ὑψοῦτε καὶ ἐπικαλεῖσθε τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ
猶滴說:「你們要擊鼓向我的神領唱,敲鈸向耶和華歌唱,向他和諧地奏起詩篇與頌讚;要高舉他,呼求他的名。
And Judith began to sing this song of thanksgiving in all Israel, and all the people sang with loud voices this song of praise.
16:2
ὅτι θεὸς συντρίβων πολέμους κύριος ὅτι εἰς παρεμβολὰς αὐτοῦ ἐν μέσῳ λαοῦ ἐξείλατό με ἐκ χειρὸς καταδιωκόντων με
因為耶和華是粉碎戰爭的神;他在自己的營中、在百姓中間,把我從追趕我之人的手中救了出來。
Judith said, “Begin a song to my God with timbrels. Sing to my Lord with cymbals. Make melody to him psalm and praise. Exalt him, and call upon his name.
16:3
ἦλθεν Ασσουρ ἐξ ὀρέων ἀπὸ βορρᾶ ἦλθεν ἐν μυριάσι δυνάμεως αὐτοῦ ὧν τὸ πλῆθος αὐτῶν ἐνέφραξεν χειμάρρους καὶ ἡ ἵππος αὐτῶν ἐκάλυψεν βουνούς
亞述從北方的山上而來,帶著他千萬的軍兵;他們人數眾多,塞滿了溪流,他們的馬匹遮蓋了岡陵。
For the Lord is the God that crushes battles. For in his armies in the midst of the people, he delivered me out of the hand of those who persecuted me.
16:4
εἶπεν ἐμπρήσειν τὰ ὅριά μου καὶ τοὺς νεανίσκους μου ἀνελεῖν ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ καὶ τὰ θηλάζοντά μου θήσειν εἰς ἔδαφος καὶ τὰ νήπιά μου δώσειν εἰς προνομὴν καὶ τὰς παρθένους μου σκυλεῦσαι
他說要焚燒我的境界,用刀殺我的少年人,把我喫奶的孩子摔在地上,把我的嬰孩交去擄掠,把我的處女搶為擄物。
Asshur came out of the mountains from the north. He came with ten thousands of his army. Its multitude stopped the torrents. Their horsemen covered the hills.
16:5
κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἠθέτησεν αὐτοὺς ἐν χειρὶ θηλείας
全能的耶和華卻藉一婦人之手使他們歸於無有。
He said that he would burn up my borders, kill my young men with the sword, throw my nursing children to the ground, give my infants up as prey, and make my virgins a plunder.
16:6
οὐ γὰρ ὑπέπεσεν ὁ δυνατὸς αὐτῶν ὑπὸ νεανίσκων οὐδὲ υἱοὶ τιτάνων ἐπάταξαν αὐτόν οὐδὲ ὑψηλοὶ γίγαντες ἐπέθεντο αὐτῷ ἀλλὰ Ιουδιθ θυγάτηρ Μεραρι ἐν κάλλει προσώπου αὐτῆς παρέλυσεν αὐτόν
因為他們的勇士並非倒在少年人之下,也不是巨人的兒子擊打了他,更不是高大的偉人攻擊他,乃是米拉利的女兒猶滴,用她容貌的美麗使他軟弱無力。
“The Almighty Lord brought them to nothing by the hand of a woman.
16:7
ἐξεδύσατο γὰρ στολὴν χηρεύσεως αὐτῆς εἰς ὕψος τῶν πονούντων ἐν Ισραηλ ἠλείψατο τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτῆς ἐν μυρισμῷ
原來她為了以色列受苦之人的高舉,脫去守寡的衣服,用香膏抹臉,
For their mighty one did not fall by young men, neither did sons of the Titans strike him. Tall giants didn’t attack him, but Judith the daughter of Merari made him weak with the beauty of her countenance.
16:8
καὶ ἐδήσατο τὰς τρίχας αὐτῆς ἐν μίτρᾳ καὶ ἔλαβεν στολὴν λινῆν εἰς ἀπάτην αὐτοῦ
用頭巾束起頭髮,穿上細麻衣,為要迷惑他。
“For she put off the apparel of her widowhood for the exaltation of those who were distressed in Israel. She anointed her face with ointment, bound her hair in a tiara, and took a linen garment to deceive him.
16:9
τὸ σανδάλιον αὐτῆς ἥρπασεν ὀφθαλμὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ τὸ κάλλος αὐτῆς ᾐχμαλώτισεν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ διῆλθεν ὁ ἀκινάκης τὸν τράχηλον αὐτοῦ
她的鞋奪去了他的眼目,她的美貌擄掠了他的心;短刀穿透了他的頸項。
Her sandal ravished his eye. Her beauty took his soul prisoner. The scimitar passed through his neck.
16:10
ἔφριξαν Πέρσαι τὴν τόλμαν αὐτῆς καὶ Μῆδοι τὸ θράσος αὐτῆς ἐταράχθησαν
波斯人因她的膽量而戰慄,瑪代人因她的果敢而驚惶。
“The Persians quaked at her daring. The Medes were daunted at her boldness.
16:11
τότε ἠλάλαξαν οἱ ταπεινοί μου καὶ ἐφοβήθησαν οἱ ἀσθενοῦντές μου καὶ ἐπτοήθησαν ὕψωσαν τὴν φωνὴν αὐτῶν καὶ ἀνετράπησαν
那時我那卑微的人歡呼,我那軟弱的人懼怕戰兢;他們高聲喊叫,仇敵就潰退了。
“Then my lowly ones shouted aloud. My weak ones were terrified and trembled for fear. They lifted up their voice, and they fled.
16:12
υἱοὶ κορασίων κατεκέντησαν αὐτοὺς καὶ ὡς παῖδας αὐτομολούντων ἐτίτρωσκον αὐτούς ἀπώλοντο ἐκ παρατάξεως κυρίου μου
婦人的兒子刺透了他們,傷他們如同逃兵的孩童;他們在我主的陣前滅亡了。
The sons of ladies pierced them through, and wounded them as fugatives’ children. They perished by the battle of my Lord.
16:13
ὑμνήσω τῷ θεῷ μου ὕμνον καινόν κύριε μέγας εἶ καὶ ἔνδοξος θαυμαστὸς ἐν ἰσχύι ἀνυπέρβλητος
我要向我的神唱新歌:耶和華啊,你是至大至榮的,在能力上奇妙,無可勝過。
“I will sing to my God a new song: O Lord, you are great and glorious, marvelous in strength, invincible.
16:14
σοὶ δουλευσάτω πᾶσα ἡ κτίσις σου ὅτι εἶπας καὶ ἐγενήθησαν ἀπέστειλας τὸ πνεῦμά σου καὶ ᾠκοδόμησεν καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ὃς ἀντιστήσεται τῇ φωνῇ σου
願你一切的受造之物都服事你;因為你說有就有,命立就立。你發出你的靈,萬物就被建立,無人能抵擋你的聲音。
Let all your creation serve you; for you spoke, and they were made. You sent out your spirit, and it built them. There is no one who can resist your voice.
16:15
ὄρη γὰρ ἐκ θεμελίων σὺν ὕδασιν σαλευθήσεται πέτραι δ’ ἀπὸ προσώπου σου ὡς κηρὸς τακήσονται ἔτι δὲ τοῖς φοβουμένοις σε σὺ εὐιλατεύσεις αὐτοῖς
羣山連同眾水必從根基搖動,磐石在你面前必如蠟熔化;惟有那敬畏你的人,你必向他們施恩。
For the mountains will be moved from their foundations with the waters, and the rocks will melt as wax at your presence: But you are yet merciful to those who fear you.
16:16
ὅτι μικρὸν πᾶσα θυσία εἰς ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας καὶ ἐλάχιστον πᾶν στέαρ εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμά σοι ὁ δὲ φοβούμενος τὸν κύριον μέγας διὰ παντός
因為一切祭物作為馨香之氣都算微小,一切脂油作為獻給你的燔祭都算極少;惟有敬畏耶和華的人永遠為大。
For all sacrifice is little for a sweet savor, And all the fat is very little for a whole burnt offering to you; But he who fears the Lord is great continually.
16:17
οὐαὶ ἔθνεσιν ἐπανιστανομένοις τῷ γένει μου κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἐκδικήσει αὐτοὺς ἐν ἡμέρᾳ κρίσεως δοῦναι πῦρ καὶ σκώληκας εἰς σάρκας αὐτῶν καὶ κλαύσονται ἐν αἰσθήσει ἕως αἰῶνος
那些起來攻擊我族類的列國有禍了!全能的耶和華必在審判之日報應他們,使火與蟲進入他們的肉中;他們必痛苦感覺,永遠哀哭。」
“Woe to the nations who rise up against my race! The Lord Almighty will take vengeance on them in the day of judgement, to put fire and worms in their flesh; and they will weep and feel their pain forever.”
16:18
ὡς δὲ ἤλθοσαν εἰς Ιερουσαλημ προσεκύνησαν τῷ θεῷ καὶ ἡνίκα ἐκαθαρίσθη ὁ λαός ἀνήνεγκαν τὰ ὁλοκαυτώματα αὐτῶν καὶ τὰ ἑκούσια αὐτῶν καὶ τὰ δόματα
他們來到耶路撒冷,敬拜了神。百姓潔淨之後,就獻上他們的燔祭、甘心祭和供物。
Now when they came to Jerusalem, they worshipped God. When the people were purified, they offered their whole burnt offerings, their free will offerings, and their gifts.
16:19
καὶ ἀνέθηκεν Ιουδιθ πάντα τὰ σκεύη Ολοφέρνου ὅσα ἔδωκεν ὁ λαὸς αὐτῇ καὶ τὸ κωνώπιον ὃ ἔλαβεν ἑαυτῇ ἐκ τοῦ κοιτῶνος αὐτοῦ εἰς ἀνάθημα τῷ θεῷ ἔδωκεν
猶滴把百姓所給她的何樂弗尼一切的器物,並她從他臥房親自取來的帳幔,都獻給神作供物。
Judith dedicated all Holofernes’ stuff, which the people had given her, and gave the canopy, which she had taken for herself out of his bedchamber, for a gift to the Lord.
16:20
καὶ ἦν ὁ λαὸς εὐφραινόμενος ἐν Ιερουσαλημ κατὰ πρόσωπον τῶν ἁγίων ἐπὶ μῆνας τρεῖς καὶ Ιουδιθ μετ’ αὐτῶν κατέμεινεν
百姓在耶路撒冷聖所前歡樂了三個月,猶滴也與他們同住。
And the people continued feasting in Jerusalem before the sanctuary for three months, and Judith remained with them.
16:21
μετὰ δὲ τὰς ἡμέρας ταύτας ἀνέζευξεν ἕκαστος εἰς τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτοῦ καὶ Ιουδιθ ἀπῆλθεν εἰς Βαιτυλουα καὶ κατέμεινεν ἐπὶ τῆς ὑπάρξεως αὐτῆς καὶ ἐγένετο κατὰ τὸν καιρὸν αὐτῆς ἔνδοξος ἐν πάσῃ τῇ γῇ
這些日子之後,眾人各歸自己的產業。猶滴回到伯夙利亞,住在自己的產業中,在她的時代於全地享有尊榮。
But after these days, everyone departed to his own inheritance. Judith went away to Bethulia, and remained in her own possession, and was honorable in her time in all the land.
16:22
καὶ πολλοὶ ἐπεθύμησαν αὐτήν καὶ οὐκ ἔγνω ἀνὴρ αὐτὴν πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τῆς ζωῆς αὐτῆς ἀφ’ ἧς ἡμέρας ἀπέθανεν Μανασσης ὁ ἀνὴρ αὐτῆς καὶ προσετέθη πρὸς τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ
許多人愛慕她,但自從她丈夫瑪拿西死後歸到他列祖那裡,終她一生的日子,沒有男人親近過她。
Many desired her, and no man knew her all the days of her life, from the day that Manasses her husband died and was gathered to his people.
16:23
καὶ ἦν προβαίνουσα μεγάλη σφόδρα καὶ ἐγήρασεν ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τοῦ ἀνδρὸς αὐτῆς ἔτη ἑκατὸν πέντε καὶ ἀφῆκεν τὴν ἅβραν αὐτῆς ἐλευθέραν καὶ ἀπέθανεν εἰς Βαιτυλουα καὶ ἔθαψαν αὐτὴν ἐν τῷ σπηλαίῳ τοῦ ἀνδρὸς αὐτῆς Μανασση
她年紀極其老邁,在她丈夫家中活到一百零五歲。她放她的使女自由,死在伯夙利亞,人就把她葬在她丈夫瑪拿西的墳穴裡。
She increased in greatness exceedingly; and she grew old in her husband’s house, to one hundred five years, and let her maid go free. Then she died in Bethulia. They buried her in the cave of her husband Manasses.
16:24
καὶ ἐπένθησεν αὐτὴν οἶκος Ισραηλ ἡμέρας ἑπτά καὶ διεῖλεν τὰ ὑπάρχοντα αὐτῆς πρὸ τοῦ ἀποθανεῖν αὐτὴν πᾶσι τοῖς ἔγγιστα Μανασση τοῦ ἀνδρὸς αὐτῆς καὶ τοῖς ἔγγιστα τοῦ γένους αὐτῆς
以色列家為她哀哭七天。她未死之前,把自己的產業分給她丈夫瑪拿西一切至近的親屬,並她自己一切至近的親屬。
The house of Israel mourned for her seven days. She distributed her goods before she died to all those who were nearest of kin to Manasses her husband, and to those who were nearest of her own kindred.
16:25
καὶ οὐκ ἦν ἔτι ὁ ἐκφοβῶν τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις Ιουδιθ καὶ μετὰ τὸ ἀποθανεῖν αὐτὴν ἡμέρας πολλάς
在猶滴的日子,並她死後許多日子,再沒有人使以色列人懼怕了。
There was no one that made the children of Israel afraid any more in the days of Judith, nor a long time after her death.
