1:1 Παῦλος ἀπόστολος, οὐκ ἀπ’ ἀνθρώπων οὐδὲ δι’ ἀνθρώπου ἀλλὰ διὰ Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ καὶ θεοῦ πατρὸς τοῦ ἐγείραντος αὐτὸν ἐκ νεκρῶν,作使徒的保羅（不是由於人，也不是藉着人，乃是藉着耶穌基督，與叫他從死裏復活的父上帝）Paul, an apostle—not from men, nor through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead—
1:2 καὶ οἱ σὺν ἐμοὶ πάντες ἀδελφοί, ταῖς ἐκκλησίαις τῆς Γαλατίας·和一切與我同在的眾弟兄，寫信給加拉太的各教會。and all the brothers who are with me, to the assemblies of Galatia:
1:3 χάρις ὑμῖν καὶ εἰρήνη ἀπὸ θεοῦ πατρὸς καὶ κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ,願恩惠、平安從父上帝與我們的主耶穌基督歸與你們！Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ,
1:4 τοῦ δόντος ἑαυτὸν περὶ τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν ἡμῶν ὅπως ἐξέληται ἡμᾶς ἐκ τοῦ αἰῶνος τοῦ ἐνεστῶτος πονηροῦ κατὰ τὸ θέλημα τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ πατρὸς ἡμῶν,基督照我們父上帝的旨意，為我們的罪捨己，要救我們脫離這罪惡的世代。who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father—
1:5 ᾧ ἡ δόξα εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων· ἀμήν.但願榮耀歸於上帝，直到永永遠遠。阿們！to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
1:6 Θαυμάζω ὅτι οὕτως ταχέως μετατίθεσθε ἀπὸ τοῦ καλέσαντος ὑμᾶς ἐν χάριτι Χριστοῦ εἰς ἕτερον εὐαγγέλιον,我希奇你們這麼快離開那藉着基督之恩召你們的，去從別的福音。I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different “good news”,
1:7 ὃ οὐκ ἔστιν ἄλλο· εἰ μή τινές εἰσιν οἱ ταράσσοντες ὑμᾶς καὶ θέλοντες μεταστρέψαι τὸ εὐαγγέλιον τοῦ Χριστοῦ.那並不是福音，不過有些人攪擾你們，要把基督的福音更改了。but there isn’t another “good news.” Only there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the Good News of Christ.
1:8 ἀλλὰ καὶ ἐὰν ἡμεῖς ἢ ἄγγελος ἐξ οὐρανοῦ εὐαγγελίσηται παρ’ ὃ εὐηγγελισάμεθα ὑμῖν, ἀνάθεμα ἔστω.但無論是我們，是天上來的使者，若傳福音給你們，與我們所傳給你們的不同，他就應當被咒詛。But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any “good news” other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed.
1:9 ὡς προειρήκαμεν, καὶ ἄρτι πάλιν λέγω, εἴ τις ὑμᾶς εὐαγγελίζεται παρ’ ὃ παρελάβετε, ἀνάθεμα ἔστω.我們已經說了，現在又說，若有人傳福音給你們，與你們所領受的不同，他就應當被咒詛。As we have said before, so I now say again: if any man preaches to you any “good news” other than that which you received, let him be cursed.
1:10 ἄρτι γὰρ ἀνθρώπους πείθω ἢ τὸν θεόν; ἢ ζητῶ ἀνθρώποις ἀρέσκειν; εἰ ἔτι ἀνθρώποις ἤρεσκον, Χριστοῦ δοῦλος οὐκ ἂν ἤμην.我現在是要得人的心呢？還是要得上帝的心呢？我豈是討人的喜歡嗎？若仍舊討人的喜歡，我就不是基督的僕人了。For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn’t be a servant of Christ.
1:11 Γνωρίζω δὲ ὑμῖν, ἀδελφοί, τὸ εὐαγγέλιον τὸ εὐαγγελισθὲν ὑπ’ ἐμοῦ ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν κατὰ ἄνθρωπον·弟兄們，我告訴你們，我素來所傳的福音不是出於人的意思。But I make known to you, brothers, concerning the Good News which was preached by me, that it is not according to man.
1:12 οὐδὲ γὰρ ἐγὼ παρὰ ἀνθρώπου παρέλαβον αὐτό, οὔτε ἐδιδάχθην, ἀλλὰ δι’ ἀποκαλύψεως Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ.因為我不是從人領受的，也不是人教導我的，乃是從耶穌基督啟示來的。For I didn’t receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came to me through revelation of Jesus Christ.
1:13 ἠκούσατε γὰρ τὴν ἐμὴν ἀναστροφήν ποτε ἐν τῷ Ἰουδαϊσμῷ, ὅτι καθ’ ὑπερβολὴν ἐδίωκον τὴν ἐκκλησίαν τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ἐπόρθουν αὐτήν,你們聽見我從前在猶太教中所行的事，怎樣極力逼迫殘害上帝的教會。For you have heard of my way of living in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the assembly of God and ravaged it.
1:14 καὶ προέκοπτον ἐν τῷ Ἰουδαϊσμῷ ὑπὲρ πολλοὺς συνηλικιώτας ἐν τῷ γένει μου, περισσοτέρως ζηλωτὴς ὑπάρχων τῶν πατρικῶν μου παραδόσεων.我又在猶太教中，比我本國許多同歲的人更有長進，為我祖宗的遺傳更加熱心。I advanced in the Jews’ religion beyond many of my own age among my countrymen, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.
1:15 ὅτε δὲ εὐδόκησεν ὁ ἀφορίσας με ἐκ κοιλίας μητρός μου καὶ καλέσας διὰ τῆς χάριτος αὐτοῦ然而，那把我從母腹裏分別出來、又施恩召我的上帝，But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through his grace,
1:16 ἀποκαλύψαι τὸν υἱὸν αὐτοῦ ἐν ἐμοὶ ἵνα εὐαγγελίζωμαι αὐτὸν ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν, εὐθέως οὐ προσανεθέμην σαρκὶ καὶ αἵματι,既然樂意將他兒子啟示在我心裏，叫我把他傳在外邦人中，我就沒有與屬血氣的人商量，to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I didn’t immediately confer with flesh and blood,
1:17 οὐδὲ ἀνῆλθον εἰς Ἱεροσόλυμα πρὸς τοὺς πρὸ ἐμοῦ ἀποστόλους, ἀλλὰ ἀπῆλθον εἰς Ἀραβίαν, καὶ πάλιν ὑπέστρεψα εἰς Δαμασκόν.也沒有上耶路撒冷去見那些比我先作使徒的，惟獨往阿拉伯去，後又回到大馬士革。nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia. Then I returned to Damascus.
1:18 ἔπειτα μετὰ τρία ἔτη ἀνῆλθον εἰς Ἱεροσόλυμα ἱστορῆσαι Κηφᾶν, καὶ ἐπέμεινα πρὸς αὐτὸν ἡμέρας δεκαπέντε·過了三年，才上耶路撒冷去見磯法，和他同住了十五天。Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Peter, and stayed with him fifteen days.
1:19 ἕτερον δὲ τῶν ἀποστόλων οὐκ εἶδον, εἰ μὴ Ἰάκωβον τὸν ἀδελφὸν τοῦ κυρίου.至於別的使徒，除了主的兄弟雅各，我都沒有看見。But of the other apostles I saw no one except James, the Lord’s brother.
1:20 ἃ δὲ γράφω ὑμῖν, ἰδοὺ ἐνώπιον τοῦ θεοῦ ὅτι οὐ ψεύδομαι.我寫給你們的不是謊話，這是我在上帝面前說的。Now about the things which I write to you, behold, before God, I’m not lying.
1:21 ἔπειτα ἦλθον εἰς τὰ κλίματα τῆς Συρίας καὶ τῆς Κιλικίας.以後我到了敘利亞和基利家境內。Then I came to the regions of Syria and Cilicia.
1:22 ἤμην δὲ ἀγνοούμενος τῷ προσώπῳ ταῖς ἐκκλησίαις τῆς Ἰουδαίας ταῖς ἐν Χριστῷ,那時，猶太信基督的各教會都沒有見過我的面。I was still unknown by face to the assemblies of Judea which were in Christ,
1:23 μόνον δὲ ἀκούοντες ἦσαν ὅτι ὁ διώκων ἡμᾶς ποτε νῦν εὐαγγελίζεται τὴν πίστιν ἥν ποτε ἐπόρθει,不過聽說那從前逼迫我們的，現在傳揚他原先所殘害的真道。but they only heard, “He who once persecuted us now preaches the faith that he once tried to destroy.”
1:24 καὶ ἐδόξαζον ἐν ἐμοὶ τὸν θεόν.他們就為我的緣故，歸榮耀給上帝。So they glorified God in me.
