29:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ יְחִזְקִיָּ֣הוּ מָלַ֗ךְ בֶּן ־עֶשְׂרִ֤ים וְחָמֵשׁ֙ שָׁנָ֔ה וְעֶשְׂרִ֤ים וָתֵ֙שַׁע֙ שָׁנָ֔ה מָלַ֖ךְ בִּירוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם וְשֵׁ֣ם אִמּ֔וֹ אֲבִיָּ֖ה בַּת ־זְכַרְיָֽהוּ ׃
καὶ Εζεκιας ἐβασίλευσεν ὢν εἴκοσι καὶ πέντε ἐτῶν καὶ εἴκοσι καὶ ἐννέα ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ὄνομα τῇ μητρὶ αὐτοῦ Αββα θυγάτηρ Ζαχαρια
Igitur Ezechias regnare coepit , cum viginti quinque esset annorum , et viginti novem annis regnavit in Jerusalem : nomen matris ejus Abia filia Zachariae .
ወነግሠ ፡ ሕዝቅያስ ፡ ወልዱ ፡ እምድኅሬሁ ፡ ከዊኖ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ዕሥራ ፡ ወኃምስቱ ፡ ዓመት ፡ ወዕሥራ ፡ ወተስዓተ ፡ ዓመተ ፡ ነግሠ ፡ በኢየሩሳሌም ፡ ወስማ ፡ ለእሙ ፡ አብያ ፡ ወለተ ፡ ዘካርያስ ።
Hezekiah began to reign when he was twenty-five years old, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.
29:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיַּ֥עַשׂ הַיָּשָׁ֖ר בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה כְּכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר ־עָשָׂ֖ה דָּוִ֥יד אָבִֽיו ׃
καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ εὐθὲς ἐνώπιον κυρίου κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησεν Δαυιδ ὁ πατὴρ αὐτοῦ
Fecitque quod erat placitum in conspectu Domini , juxta omnia quae fecerat David pater ejus .
ወሖረ ፡ በፍኖት ፡ ርትዕት ፡ በቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በከመ ፡ ዳዊት ፡ አቡሁ ።
He did that which was right in Yahweh’s eyes, according to all that David his father had done.
29:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ ה֣וּא בַשָּׁנָה֩ הָרִאשׁוֹנָ֨ה לְמׇלְכ֜וֹ בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ הָרִאשׁ֗וֹן פָּתַ֛ח אֶת ־דַּלְת֥וֹת בֵּית ־יְהֹוָ֖ה וַֽיְחַזְּקֵֽם ׃
καὶ ἐγένετο ὡς ἔστη ἐπὶ τῆς βασιλείας αὐτοῦ ἐν τῷ πρώτῳ μηνὶ ἀνέῳξεν τὰς θύρας οἴκου κυρίου καὶ ἐπεσκεύασεν αὐτάς
Ipse , anno et mense primo regni sui , aperuit valvas domus Domini , et instauravit eas .
ወኮነ ፡ አመ ፡ ጸንዐ ፡ ወቆመ ፡ በመንግሥቱ ፡ በቀዳማይ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ አርኃወ ፡ ኃዋኅዊሃ ፡ ለቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወአጽንዖሙ ፡ ወአሠነዮሙ ።
In the first year of his reign, in the first month, he opened the doors of Yahweh’s house and repaired them.
29:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיָּבֵ֥א אֶת ־הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים וְאֶת ־הַלְוִיִּ֑ם וַיַּאַסְפֵ֖ם לִרְח֥וֹב הַמִּזְרָֽח ׃
καὶ εἰσήγαγεν τοὺς ἱερεῖς καὶ τοὺς Λευίτας καὶ κατέστησεν αὐτοὺς εἰς τὸ κλίτος τὸ πρὸς ἀνατολὰς
Adduxitque sacerdotes atque Levitas , et congregavit eos in plateam orientalem .
ወአብኦሙ ፡ ለካህናት ፡ ወለሌዋውያን ፡ ወአቀሞሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቤት ፡ ዘመንገለ ፡ ጽባሕ ፡ ወይቤሎሙ ፡ ስምዑኒ ፡ ሌዋውያን ፡ ወይእዜኒ ፡ አንጽሑ ፡ ርእሰክሙ ፡ ወአንጽሑ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላከ ፡ አበዊክሙ ፡ ወአውጽኡ ፡ ርኩሰ ፡ እምቤተ ፡ ቅድሳት ።
He brought in the priests and the Levites and gathered them together into the wide place on the east,
29:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֹּ֥אמֶר לָהֶ֖ם שְׁמָע֣וּנִי הַלְוִיִּ֑ם עַתָּ֣ה הִֽתְקַדְּשׁ֗וּ וְקַדְּשׁוּ֙ אֶת ־בֵּ֤ית יְהֹוָה֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י אֲבֹתֵיכֶ֔ם וְהוֹצִ֥יאוּ אֶת ־הַנִּדָּ֖ה מִן ־הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ ׃
καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ἀκούσατε οἱ Λευῖται νῦν ἁγνίσθητε καὶ ἁγνίσατε τὸν οἶκον κυρίου θεοῦ τῶν πατέρων ὑμῶν καὶ ἐκβάλετε τὴν ἀκαθαρσίαν ἐκ τῶν ἁγίων
Dixitque ad eos : Audite me , Levitae , et sanctificamini : mundate domum Domini Dei patrum vestrorum , et auferte omnem immunditiam de sanctuario .
እስመ ፡ ርኅቁ ፡ አበዊነ ፡ እምእግዚአብሔር ፡ ወእኪተኒ ፡ ገብሩ ፡ በቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክነ ፡ ወረስዕዎ ፡ ወሜጡ ፡ ገጾሙ ፡ እምቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወአጽንዑ ፡ ክሳውዲሆሙ ።
and said to them, “Listen to me, you Levites! Now sanctify yourselves, and sanctify the house of Yahweh, the God of your fathers, and carry the filthiness out of the holy place.
29:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּֽי ־מָעֲל֣וּ אֲבֹתֵ֗ינוּ וְעָשׂ֥וּ הָרַ֛ע בְּעֵינֵ֥י יְהֹוָֽה ־אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ וַיַּעַזְבֻ֑הוּ וַיַּסֵּ֧בּוּ פְנֵיהֶ֛ם מִמִּשְׁכַּ֥ן יְהֹוָ֖ה וַיִּתְּנוּ ־עֹֽרֶף ׃
ὅτι ἀπέστησαν οἱ πατέρες ἡμῶν καὶ ἐποίησαν τὸ πονηρὸν ἐναντίον κυρίου καὶ ἐγκατέλιπαν αὐτὸν καὶ ἀπέστρεψαν τὸ πρόσωπον ἀπὸ τῆς σκηνῆς κυρίου καὶ ἔδωκαν αὐχένα
Peccaverunt patres nostri , et fecerunt malum in conspectu Domini Dei nostri , derelinquentes eum : averterunt facies suas a tabernaculo Domini , et praebuerunt dorsum .
ወዓፀዉ ፡ ኃዋኅወ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወአጥፍኡ ፡ መኀትወ ፡ ወዕጣነ ፡ ኢዓጠኑ ፡ ወጽንሐሐኒ ፡ ኢያብኡ ፡ ለአምላከ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ቅዱስ ።
For our fathers were unfaithful, and have done that which was evil in Yahweh our God’s sight, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of Yahweh, and turned their backs.
29:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ גַּ֣ם סָגְר֞וּ דַּלְת֣וֹת הָאוּלָ֗ם וַיְכַבּוּ֙ אֶת ־הַנֵּר֔וֹת וּקְטֹ֖רֶת לֹ֣א הִקְטִ֑ירוּ וְעֹלָה֙ לֹא ־הֶעֱל֣וּ בַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ לֵאלֹהֵ֖י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ ἀπέκλεισαν τὰς θύρας τοῦ ναοῦ καὶ ἔσβεσαν τοὺς λύχνους καὶ θυμίαμα οὐκ ἐθυμίασαν καὶ ὁλοκαυτώματα οὐ προσήνεγκαν ἐν τῷ ἁγίῳ θεῷ Ισραηλ
Clauserunt ostia quae erant in porticu , et extinxerunt lucernas , incensumque non adoleverunt , et holocausta non obtulerunt in sanctuario Deo Israël .
ተምዐ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ይሁዳ ፡ ወኢየሩሳሌም ፡ ወመጠዎሙ ፡ ለድንጋፄ ፡ ወለሙስና ፡ ወለሰሐቅ ፡ ወለሥላቅ ፡ በከመ ፡ አንትሙ ፡ ትሬእዩ ፡ በአዕይንቲክሙ ።
Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place to the God of Israel.
29:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַֽיְהִי֙ קֶ֣צֶף יְהֹוָ֔ה עַל ־יְהוּדָ֖ה וִירוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם וַיִּתְּנֵ֤ם (לזועה ) [לְזַעֲוָה֙ ] לְשַׁמָּ֣ה וְלִשְׁרֵקָ֔ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר אַתֶּ֥ם רֹאִ֖ים בְּעֵינֵיכֶֽם ׃
καὶ ὠργίσθη ὀργῇ κύριος ἐπὶ τὸν Ιουδαν καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτοὺς εἰς ἔκστασιν καὶ εἰς ἀφανισμὸν καὶ εἰς συρισμόν ὡς ὑμεῖς ὁρᾶτε τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς ὑμῶν
Concitatus est itaque furor Domini super Judam et Jerusalem , tradiditque eos in commotionem , et in interitum , et in sibilum , sicut ipsi cernitis oculis vestris .
ወናሁ ፡ አበዊነ ፡ ቈስሉ ፡ በሐፂን ፡ ወደቂቅክሙኒ ፡ ወአዋልዲክሙ ፡ ወአንስቲያክሙ ፡ ተፄወዉ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ብሔር ፡ ዘኢኮነ ፡ ዚአሆሙ ፡ ወይእዜኒ ፡ ሀለዉ ፡ እስከ ፡ ዛቲ ፡ ዕለት ።
Therefore Yahweh’s wrath was on Judah and Jerusalem, and he has delivered them to be tossed back and forth, to be an astonishment and a hissing, as you see with your eyes.
29:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהִנֵּ֛ה נָפְל֥וּ אֲבוֹתֵ֖ינוּ בֶּחָ֑רֶב וּבָנֵ֨ינוּ וּבְנוֹתֵ֧ינוּ וְנָשֵׁ֛ינוּ בַּשְּׁבִ֖י עַל ־זֹֽאת ׃
καὶ ἰδοὺ πεπλήγασιν οἱ πατέρες ὑμῶν μαχαίρᾳ καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ ὑμῶν καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες ὑμῶν καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες ὑμῶν ἐν αἰχμαλωσίᾳ ἐν γῇ οὐκ αὐτῶν ὃ καὶ νῦν ἐστιν
En corruerunt patres nostri gladiis : filii nostri , et filiae nostrae , et conjuges captivae ductae sunt propter hoc scelus .
ወይእዜሰ ፡ ይኩን ፡ ውስተ ፡ ልብክሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትትካየዱ ፡ ኪዳነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላከ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወይሚጥ ፡ መቅሠፍተ ፡ መዓቱ ፡ እምኔነ ።
For behold, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.
29:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ עַתָּה֙ עִם ־לְבָבִ֔י לִכְר֣וֹת בְּרִ֔ית לַיהֹוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְיָשֹׁ֥ב מִמֶּ֖נּוּ חֲר֥וֹן אַפּֽוֹ ׃
ἐπὶ τούτοις νῦν ἐστιν ἐπὶ καρδίας διαθέσθαι διαθήκην κυρίου θεοῦ Ισραηλ καὶ ἀποστρέψει τὴν ὀργὴν θυμοῦ αὐτοῦ ἀφ’ ἡμῶν
Nunc ergo placet mihi ut ineamus foedus cum Domino Deo Israël , et avertet a nobis furorem irae suae .
ወይእዜኒ ፡ ኢትኅዝኑ ፡ እስመ ፡ ኪያክሙ ፡ ኀረየ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ከመ ፡ ትቁሙ ፡ ቅድሜሁ ፡ ወትትለአክዎ ፡ ወከመ ፡ ትኩንዎ ፡ ላእካኒሁ ፡ ወከመ ፡ ትዕጥኑ ፡ ዕጣነ ፡ በቅድሜሁ ።
Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with Yahweh, the God of Israel, that his fierce anger may turn away from us.
29:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ בָּנַ֕י עַתָּ֖ה אַל ־תִּשָּׁל֑וּ כִּֽי ־בָכֶ֞ם בָּחַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֗ה לַעֲמֹ֤ד לְפָנָיו֙ לְשָׁ֣רְת֔וֹ וְלִהְי֥וֹת ל֖וֹ מְשָׁרְתִ֥ים וּמַקְטִרִֽים ׃ {פ}
καὶ νῦν μὴ διαλίπητε ὅτι ἐν ὑμῖν ᾑρέτικεν κύριος στῆναι ἐναντίον αὐτοῦ λειτουργεῖν καὶ εἶναι αὐτῷ λειτουργοῦντας καὶ θυμιῶντας
Filii mei , nolite negligere : vos elegit Dominus ut stetis coram eo , et ministretis illi , colatisque eum , et cremetis ei incensum .
ወተንሥኡ ፡ ሌዋውያን ፡ ለሜኤት ፡ ወልደ ፡ አሜሳዕ ፡ ወኢዮሄል ፡ ወልደ ፡ አዛርያስ ፡ እምደቂቀ ፡ ቀዓት ፡ ወእምደቂቀ ፡ ሜራሪ ፡ ቂሳ ፡ ወልደ ፡ አብዲ ፡ አዛርያስ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ያሃሌልኤል ፡ ወእምደቂቀ ፡ ጌድሶን ፡ ዮአት ፡ ወልደ ፡ ዘማት ፡ ወኢዮአዳ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ኢዮአስ ።
My sons, don’t be negligent now; for Yahweh has chosen you to stand before him, to minister to him, and that you should be his ministers and burn incense.”
29:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיָּקֻ֣מוּ הַ֠לְוִיִּ֠ם מַ֣חַת בֶּן ־עֲמָשַׂ֞י וְיוֹאֵ֣ל בֶּן ־עֲזַרְיָ֘הוּ֮ מִן ־בְּנֵ֣י הַקְּהָתִי֒ וּמִן ־בְּנֵ֣י מְרָרִ֔י קִ֚ישׁ בֶּן ־עַבְדִּ֔י וַעֲזַרְיָ֖הוּ בֶּן ־יְהַלֶּלְאֵ֑ל {ס} וּמִן ־הַגֵּ֣רְשֻׁנִּ֔י יוֹאָח֙ בֶּן ־זִמָּ֔ה וְעֵ֖דֶן בֶּן ־יוֹאָֽח ׃
καὶ ἀνέστησαν οἱ Λευῖται Μααθ ὁ τοῦ Αμασι καὶ Ιωηλ ὁ τοῦ Αζαριου ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Κααθ καὶ ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Μεραρι Κις ὁ τοῦ Αβδι καὶ Αζαριας ὁ τοῦ Ιαλλεληλ καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Γεδσωνι Ιωα ὁ τοῦ Ζεμμαθ καὶ Ιωδαν ὁ τοῦ Ιωαχα
Surrexerunt ergo Levitae : Mahath filius Amasai , et Joël filius Azariae de filiis Caath : porro de filiis Merari , Cis filius Abdi , et Azarias filius Jalaleel . De filiis autem Gersom , Joah filius Zemma , et Eden filius Joah .
ወእምደቂቀ ፡ ኤልሳፋን ፡ ሣምሪ ፡ ወኢዮሄል ፡ ወእምደቂቀ ፡ አሳፍ ፡ ዘካርያስ ፡ ወማታንያስ ።
Then the Levites arose: Mahath, the son of Amasai, and Joel the son of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathites; and of the sons of Merari, Kish the son of Abdi, and Azariah the son of Jehallelel; and of the Gershonites, Joah the son of Zimmah, and Eden the son of Joah;
29:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמִן ־בְּנֵי֙ אֱלִ֣יצָפָ֔ן שִׁמְרִ֖י (ויעואל ) [וִיעִיאֵ֑ל ] וּמִן ־בְּנֵ֣י אָסָ֔ף זְכַרְיָ֖הוּ וּמַתַּנְיָֽהוּ ׃ {ס}
καὶ τῶν υἱῶν Ελισαφαν Σαμβρι καὶ Ιιηλ καὶ τῶν υἱῶν Ασαφ Ζαχαριας καὶ Μαθθανιας
At vero de filiis Elisaphan , Samri , et Jahiel . De filiis quoque Asaph , Zacharias , et Mathanias :
ወእምደቂቀ ፡ ኤማን ፡ ኢዮሄል ፡ ወሴሚ ፡ ወእምደቂቀ ፡ ኤዱቱን ፡ ሰማዕያ ፡ ወኡዝሄል ።
and of the sons of Elizaphan, Shimri and Jeuel; and of the sons of Asaph, Zechariah and Mattaniah;
29:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמִן ־בְּנֵ֥י הֵימָ֖ן (יחואל ) [יְחִיאֵ֣ל ] וְשִׁמְעִ֑י {ס} וּמִן ־בְּנֵ֣י יְדוּת֔וּן שְׁמַֽעְיָ֖ה וְעֻזִּיאֵֽל ׃
καὶ τῶν υἱῶν Αιμαν Ιιηλ καὶ Σεμεϊ καὶ τῶν υἱῶν Ιδιθων Σαμαιας καὶ Οζιηλ
necnon de filiis Heman , Jahiel , et Semei : sed et de filiis Idithun , Semeias , et Oziel .
ወአስተጋብኡ ፡ አኃዊሆሙ ፡ ወቀደሱ ፡ ርእሶሙበከመ ፡ ትእዛዙ ፡ ለንጉሥ ፡ ወበትእዛዘ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ከመ ፡ ያንጽሑ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
and of the sons of Heman, Jehuel and Shimei; and of the sons of Jeduthun, Shemaiah and Uzziel.
29:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיַּאַסְפ֤וּ אֶת ־אֲחֵיהֶם֙ וַיִּֽתְקַדְּשׁ֔וּ וַיָּבֹ֥אוּ כְמִצְוַת ־הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ בְּדִבְרֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה לְטַהֵ֖ר בֵּ֥ית יְהֹוָֽה ׃
καὶ συνήγαγον τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτῶν καὶ ἡγνίσθησαν κατὰ τὴν ἐντολὴν τοῦ βασιλέως διὰ προστάγματος κυρίου καθαρίσαι τὸν οἶκον κυρίου
Congregaveruntque fratres suos , et sanctificati sunt , et ingressi sunt juxta mandatum regis et imperium Domini , ut expiarent domum Dei .
ወቦኡ ፡ ካህናት ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ከመ ፡ ያንጽሑ ፡ ወአውጽኡ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ርኵሰ ፡ ዘተረክበ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወውስተ ፡ ዓፀደ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
They gathered their brothers, sanctified themselves, and went in, according to the commandment of the king by Yahweh’s words, to cleanse Yahweh’s house.
29:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ הַ֠כֹּהֲנִ֠ים לִפְנִ֣ימָה בֵית ־יְהֹוָה֮ לְטַהֵר֒ וַיּוֹצִ֗יאוּ אֵ֤ת כׇּל ־הַטֻּמְאָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֤ר מָֽצְאוּ֙ בְּהֵיכַ֣ל יְהֹוָ֔ה לַחֲצַ֖ר בֵּ֣ית יְהֹוָ֑ה וַֽיְקַבְּלוּ֙ הַלְוִיִּ֔ם לְהוֹצִ֥יא לְנַחַל ־קִדְר֖וֹן חֽוּצָה ׃
καὶ εἰσῆλθον οἱ ἱερεῖς ἔσω εἰς τὸν οἶκον κυρίου ἁγνίσαι καὶ ἐξέβαλον πᾶσαν τὴν ἀκαθαρσίαν τὴν εὑρεθεῖσαν ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ κυρίου καὶ εἰς τὴν αὐλὴν οἴκου κυρίου καὶ ἐδέξαντο οἱ Λευῖται ἐκβαλεῖν εἰς τὸν χειμάρρουν Κεδρων ἔξω
Sacerdotes quoque ingressi templum Domini ut sanctificarent illud , extulerunt omnem immunditiam quam intro repererant in vestibulo domus Domini : quam tulerunt Levitae , et asportaverunt ad torrentem Cedron foras .
ወተመጠዉ ፡ ሌዋውያን ፡ ወአውጽኡ ፡ አፍኣ ፡ ርኵሰ ፡ ዘተረክበ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወውስተ ፡ ፈለገ ፡ ቄድርስ ።
The priests went into the inner part of Yahweh’s house to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in Yahweh’s temple into the court of Yahweh’s house. The Levites took it from there to carry it out to the brook Kidron.
29:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַ֠יָּחֵ֠לּוּ בְּאֶחָ֞ד לַחֹ֣דֶשׁ הָרִאשׁוֹן֮ לְקַדֵּשׁ֒ וּבְי֧וֹם שְׁמוֹנָ֣ה לַחֹ֗דֶשׁ בָּ֚אוּ לְאוּלָ֣ם יְהֹוָ֔ה וַיְקַדְּשׁ֥וּ אֶת ־בֵּית ־יְהֹוָ֖ה לְיָמִ֣ים שְׁמוֹנָ֑ה וּבְי֨וֹם שִׁשָּׁ֥ה עָשָׂ֛ר לַחֹ֥דֶשׁ הָרִאשׁ֖וֹן כִּלּֽוּ ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἤρξαντο τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ πρώτῃ νουμηνίᾳ τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ πρώτου ἁγνίσαι καὶ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ὀγδόῃ τοῦ μηνὸς εἰσῆλθαν εἰς τὸν ναὸν κυρίου καὶ ἥγνισαν τὸν οἶκον κυρίου ἐν ἡμέραις ὀκτὼ καὶ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑκκαιδεκάτῃ τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ πρώτου συνετέλεσαν
Coeperunt autem prima die mensis primi mundare , et in die octavo ejusdem mensis ingressi sunt porticum templi Domini , expiaveruntque templum diebus octo , et in die sextadecima mensis ejusdem , quod coeperant , impleverunt .
ወአኀዙ ፡ በቀዳሚ ፡ ዕለት ፡ በዕለት ፡ ሠርቅ ፡ ዘቀዳሚ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያንጽሑ ፡ ወበሳምንት ፡ ዕለት ፡ ቦኡ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወአንጽሑ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በሰሙን ፡ ዕለት ፡ ወበዓሠርቱ ፡ ወስድስቱ ፡ በቀዳሚ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ ፈጸሙ ።
Now they began on the first day of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month they came to Yahweh’s porch. They sanctified Yahweh’s house in eight days, and on the sixteenth day of the first month they finished.
29:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיָּב֤וֹאֽוּ פְנִ֙ימָה֙ אֶל ־חִזְקִיָּ֣הוּ הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ טִהַ֖רְנוּ אֶת ־כׇּל ־בֵּ֣ית יְהֹוָ֑ה אֶת ־מִזְבַּ֤ח הָעוֹלָה֙ וְאֶת ־כׇּל ־כֵּלָ֔יו וְאֶת ־שֻׁלְחַ֥ן הַֽמַּעֲרֶ֖כֶת וְאֶת ־כׇּל ־כֵּלָֽיו ׃
καὶ εἰσῆλθαν ἔσω πρὸς Εζεκιαν τὸν βασιλέα καὶ εἶπαν ἡγνίσαμεν πάντα τὰ ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου τὸ θυσιαστήριον τῆς ὁλοκαυτώσεως καὶ τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦ καὶ τὴν τράπεζαν τῆς προθέσεως καὶ τὰ σκεύη αὐτῆς
Ingressi quoque sunt ad Ezechiam regem , et dixerunt ei : Sanctificavimus omnem domum Domini , et altare holocausti , vasaque ejus , necnon et mensam propositionis cum omnibus vasis suis ,
ወቦኡ ፡ ውስጠ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ሕዝቅያስ ፡ ንጉሥ ፡ ወይቤልዎ ፡ አንጻሕነ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዘውስተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወቤተ ፡ ምሥዋዕኒ ፡ ዘጽንሐሕ ፡ ወንዋየ ፡ ግብረ ፡ ቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወንዋየ ፡ ምሥያም ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ ንዋየ ፡ ግብር ፡ ዘውስተ ፡ ቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
Then they went in to Hezekiah the king within the palace and said, “We have cleansed all Yahweh’s house, including the altar of burnt offering with all its vessels, and the table of show bread with all its vessels.
29:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֵ֣ת כׇּל ־הַכֵּלִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר הִזְנִ֩יחַ֩ הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ אָחָ֧ז בְּמַלְכוּת֛וֹ בְּמַעֲל֖וֹ הֵכַ֣נּוּ וְהִקְדָּ֑שְׁנוּ וְהִנָּ֕ם לִפְנֵ֖י מִזְבַּ֥ח יְהֹוָֽה ׃ {ס}
καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη ἃ ἐμίανεν Αχαζ ὁ βασιλεὺς ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ αὐτοῦ ἐν τῇ ἀποστασίᾳ αὐτοῦ ἡτοιμάκαμεν καὶ ἡγνίκαμεν ἰδού ἐστιν ἐναντίον τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου κυρίου
cunctamque templi supellectilem , quam polluerat rex Achaz in regno suo , postquam praevaricatus est : et ecce exposita sunt omnia coram altare Domini .
ወኵሎ ፡ ንዋየ ፡ ዘአርኰሰ ፡ አካዝ ፡ ንጉሥ ፡ በመንግሥቱ ፡ በርኂቆቱ ፡ እምእግዚአብሔር ፡ ናሁ ፡ አንጻሕነ ፡ ወአስተዳሎነ ፡ ወናሁ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ ምሥዋዕ ፡ ዘቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
Moreover, we have prepared and sanctified all the vessels which King Ahaz threw away in his reign when he was unfaithful. Behold, they are before Yahweh’s altar.”
29:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיַּשְׁכֵּם֙ יְחִזְקִיָּ֣הוּ הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וַיֶּאֱסֹ֕ף אֵ֖ת שָׂרֵ֣י הָעִ֑יר וַיַּ֖עַל בֵּ֥ית יְהֹוָֽה ׃
καὶ ὤρθρισεν Εζεκιας ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ συνήγαγεν τοὺς ἄρχοντας τῆς πόλεως καὶ ἀνέβη εἰς οἶκον κυρίου
Consurgensque diluculo Ezechias rex , adunavit omnes principes civitatis , et ascendit in domum Domini :
ወጌሠ ፡ ሕዝቅያስ ፡ ንጉሥ ፡ ወአስተጋብአ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ መኳንንተ ፡ ቤ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወዓርገ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
Then Hezekiah the king arose early, gathered the princes of the city, and went up to Yahweh’s house.
29:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיָּבִ֣יאוּ פָֽרִים ־שִׁבְעָה֩ וְאֵילִ֨ים שִׁבְעָ֜ה וּכְבָשִׂ֣ים שִׁבְעָ֗ה וּצְפִירֵ֨י עִזִּ֤ים שִׁבְעָה֙ לְחַטָּ֔את עַל ־הַמַּמְלָכָ֥ה וְעַל ־הַמִּקְדָּ֖שׁ וְעַל ־יְהוּדָ֑ה וַיֹּ֗אמֶר לִבְנֵ֤י אַֽהֲרֹן֙ הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים לְהַעֲל֖וֹת עַל ־מִזְבַּ֥ח יְהֹוָֽה ׃
καὶ ἀνήνεγκεν μόσχους ἑπτά κριοὺς ἑπτά ἀμνοὺς ἑπτά χιμάρους αἰγῶν ἑπτὰ περὶ ἁμαρτίας περὶ τῆς βασιλείας καὶ περὶ τῶν ἁγίων καὶ περὶ Ισραηλ καὶ εἶπεν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ααρων τοῖς ἱερεῦσιν ἀναβαίνειν ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον κυρίου
obtuleruntque simul tauros septem , et arietes septem , agnos septem , et hircos septem pro peccato , pro regno , pro sanctuario , pro Juda : dixitque sacerdotibus filiis Aaron , ut offerrent super altare Domini .
ወአዕረገ ፡ መሥዋዕተ ፡ ላሕም ፡ ጣዕዋ ፡ ሰብዓተ ፡ ወአባግዐ ፡ አትቡዐ ፡ ሰብዓተ ፡ ወመሐስአ ፡ አባግዕ ፡ ሰብዓተ ፡ ወመቋዕልተ ፡ ጠሊ ፡ ሰብዓተ ፡ ወሐራጊተ ፡ ጠሊ ፡ ሰብዓተ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ኃጢአት ።
They brought seven bulls, seven rams, seven lambs, and seven male goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom, for the sanctuary, and for Judah. He commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer them on Yahweh’s altar.
29:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַֽיִּשְׁחֲטוּ֙ הַבָּקָ֔ר וַיְקַבְּל֤וּ הַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ אֶת ־הַדָּ֔ם וַֽיִּזְרְק֖וּ הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חָה וַיִּשְׁחֲט֣וּ הָאֵלִ֗ים וַיִּזְרְק֤וּ הַדָּם֙ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה וַֽיִּשְׁחֲטוּ֙ הַכְּבָשִׂ֔ים וַיִּזְרְק֥וּ הַדָּ֖ם הַמִּזְבֵּֽחָה ׃
καὶ ἔθυσαν τοὺς μόσχους καὶ ἐδέξαντο οἱ ἱερεῖς τὸ αἷμα καὶ προσέχεον ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ ἔθυσαν τοὺς κριούς καὶ προσέχεον τὸ αἷμα ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ ἔθυσαν τοὺς ἀμνούς καὶ περιέχεον τὸ αἷμα τῷ θυσιαστηρίῳ
Mactaverunt igitur tauros , et susceperunt sanguinem sacerdotes , et fuderunt illum super altare : mactaverunt etiam arietes , et illorum sanguinem super altare fuderunt , immolaveruntque agnos , et fuderunt super altare sanguinem .
ወበእንተ ፡ ንግሠ ፡ ዚአሁ ፡ ወበእንተ ፡ ቅድሳት ፡ ወበእንተ ፡ ሕዝበ ፡ ዚአሁ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወይቤሎሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ አሮን ፡ ካህናት ፡ ዕርጉ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቤ ፡ ምሥዋዕ ፡ ዘእግዚአብሔር ።
So they killed the bulls, and the priests received the blood and sprinkled it on the altar. They killed the rams and sprinkled the blood on the altar. They also killed the lambs and sprinkled the blood on the altar.
29:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיַּגִּ֙ישׁוּ֙ אֶת ־שְׂעִירֵ֣י הַחַטָּ֔את לִפְנֵ֥י הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ וְהַקָּהָ֑ל וַיִּסְמְכ֥וּ יְדֵיהֶ֖ם עֲלֵיהֶֽם ׃
καὶ προσήγαγον τοὺς χιμάρους τοὺς περὶ ἁμαρτίας ἐναντίον τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ τῆς ἐκκλησίας καὶ ἐπέθηκαν τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῶν ἐπ’ αὐτούς
Applicuerunt hircos pro peccato coram rege , et universa multitudine , imposueruntque manus suas super eos :
ወአዕረጉ ፡ ወሦዕዎሙ ፡ ለእልክቱ ፡ አልሕምት ፡ ጣዕዋ ፡ ወተወክፉ ፡ ደሞሙ ፡ ካህናት ፡ ወነዝኁኌሽጸ ፡ ቤተ ፡ ምሥዋዕ ፡ ወካዕበ ፡ ሦዑ ፡ እልክተ ፡ ሰብዓተ ፡ አባግዐ ፡ አትቡዐ ፡ ወነዝኁ ፡ ደሞሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምሥዋዕ ፡ ወሦዑ ፡ መሐስአ ፡ አባግዕ ፡ ወነዝኁ ፡ ደሞሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምሥዋዕ ።
They brought near the male goats for the sin offering before the king and the assembly; and they laid their hands on them.
29:24 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּשְׁחָטוּם֙ הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים וַֽיְחַטְּא֤וּ אֶת ־דָּמָם֙ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה לְכַפֵּ֖ר עַל ־כׇּל ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל כִּ֤י לְכׇל ־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אָמַ֣ר הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ הָעוֹלָ֖ה וְהַחַטָּֽאת ׃
καὶ ἔθυσαν αὐτοὺς οἱ ἱερεῖς καὶ ἐξιλάσαντο τὸ αἷμα αὐτῶν πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ ἐξιλάσαντο περὶ παντὸς Ισραηλ ὅτι περὶ παντὸς Ισραηλ εἶπεν ὁ βασιλεύς ἡ ὁλοκαύτωσις καὶ τὰ περὶ ἁμαρτίας
et immolaverunt illos sacerdotes , et asperserunt sanguinem eorum coram altare pro piaculo universi Israëlis : pro omni quippe Israël praeceperat rex ut holocaustum fieret , et pro peccato .
ወሦዑ ፡ እልክተ ፡ ሐራጊተ ፡ ዘበእንተ ፡ ኃጢአት ፡ በቅድመ ፡ ንጉሥ ፡ ወበቅድመ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ማኅበር ፡ ወሤሙ ፡ እደዊሆሙ ፡ ካህናት ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ ።
Then the priests killed them, and they made a sin offering with their blood on the altar, to make atonement for all Israel; for the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.
29:25 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיַּעֲמֵ֨ד אֶת ־הַלְוִיִּ֜ם בֵּ֣ית יְהֹוָ֗ה בִּמְצִלְתַּ֙יִם֙ בִּנְבָלִ֣ים וּבְכִנֹּר֔וֹת בְּמִצְוַ֥ת דָּוִ֛יד וְגָ֥ד חֹזֵֽה ־הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ וְנָתָ֣ן הַנָּבִ֑יא כִּ֧י בְיַד ־יְהֹוָ֛ה הַמִּצְוָ֖ה בְּיַד ־נְבִיאָֽיו ׃
καὶ ἔστησεν τοὺς Λευίτας ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου ἐν κυμβάλοις καὶ ἐν νάβλαις καὶ ἐν κινύραις κατὰ τὴν ἐντολὴν Δαυιδ τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ Γαδ τοῦ ὁρῶντος τῷ βασιλεῖ καὶ Ναθαν τοῦ προφήτου ὅτι δῑ ἐντολῆς κυρίου τὸ πρόσταγμα ἐν χειρὶ τῶν προφητῶν
Constituit quoque Levitas in domo Domini cum cymbalis , et psalteriis , et citharis secundum dispositionem David regis , et Gad videntis , et Nathan prophetae : siquidem Domini praeceptum fuit per manum prophetarum ejus .
ወጠብሑ ፡ ወቊዓለ ፡ ወተወክፉ ፡ ደሞሙ ፡ ወነዝኁ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምሥዋዕ ፡ ወአስተሥረዩ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እስመ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ይቤ ፡ ንጉሥ ፡ ትኩን ፡ ዛቲ ፡ መሥዋዕተ ፡ ዘበእንተ ፡ ኃጢአት ።
He set the Levites in Yahweh’s house with cymbals, with stringed instruments, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, of Gad the king’s seer, and Nathan the prophet; for the commandment was from Yahweh by his prophets.
29:26 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיַּעַמְד֤וּ הַלְוִיִּם֙ בִּכְלֵ֣י דָוִ֔יד וְהַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים בַּחֲצֹצְרֽוֹת ׃ {פ}
καὶ ἔστησαν οἱ Λευῖται ἐν ὀργάνοις Δαυιδ καὶ οἱ ἱερεῖς ταῖς σάλπιγξιν
Steteruntque Levitae tenentes organa David , et sacerdotes tubas .
ወአቀሞሙ ፡ ለሌዋውያን ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በጸናጽል ፡ ወበከበሮ ፡ ወበቀርን ፡ በከመ ፡ ትእዛዙ ፡ ለዳዊት ፡ ንጉሥ ፡ ወጋድ ፡ ምእመኑ ፡ ለንጉሥ ፡ ወናታን ፡ ነቢይ ፡ እስመ ፡ በትእዛዘ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ሥርዓት ፡ ሀሎ ፡ ውስተ ፡ እደዊሆሙ ፡ ለነቢያት ።
The Levites stood with David’s instruments, and the priests with the trumpets.
29:27 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ חִזְקִיָּ֔הוּ לְהַעֲל֥וֹת הָעֹלָ֖ה לְהַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ וּבְעֵ֞ת הֵחֵ֣ל הָעוֹלָ֗ה הֵחֵ֤ל שִׁיר ־יְהֹוָה֙ וְהַחֲצֹ֣צְר֔וֹת וְעַ֨ל ־יְדֵ֔י כְּלֵ֖י דָּוִ֥יד מֶלֶךְ ־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ εἶπεν Εζεκιας ἀνενέγκαι τὴν ὁλοκαύτωσιν ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ ἐν τῷ ἄρξασθαι ἀναφέρειν τὴν ὁλοκαύτωσιν ἤρξαντο ᾄδειν κυρίῳ καὶ αἱ σάλπιγγες πρὸς τὰ ὄργανα Δαυιδ βασιλέως Ισραηλ
Et jussit Ezechias ut offerrent holocausta super altare : cumque offerrentur holocausta , coeperunt laudes canere Domino , et clangere tubis , atque in diversis organis quae David rex Israël praeparaverat , concrepare .
ወቆሙ ፡ ሌዋውያን ፡ በእንዚራተ ፡ ዳዊት ፡ ወካህናቲሆሙኒ ፡ ይነፍሑ ፡ በአቅርንት ።
Hezekiah commanded them to offer the burnt offering on the altar. When the burnt offering began, Yahweh’s song also began, along with the trumpets and instruments of David king of Israel.
29:28 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְכׇל ־הַקָּהָל֙ מִֽשְׁתַּחֲוִ֔ים וְהַשִּׁ֣יר מְשׁוֹרֵ֔ר וְהַחֲצֹצְר֖וֹת (מחצצרים ) [מַחְצְרִ֑ים ] הַכֹּ֕ל עַ֖ד לִכְל֥וֹת הָעֹלָֽה ׃
καὶ πᾶσα ἡ ἐκκλησία προσεκύνει καὶ οἱ ψαλτῳδοὶ ᾄδοντες καὶ αἱ σάλπιγγες σαλπίζουσαι ἕως οὗ συνετελέσθη ἡ ὁλοκαύτωσις
Omni autem turba adorante , cantores , et ii qui tenebant tubas , erant in officio suo donec compleretur holocaustum .
ወይቤ ፡ ሕዝቅያስ ፡ ንጉሥ ፡ አዕርጉ ፡ መሥዋዕተ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ጽንሐሕ ፡ ወሶበ ፡ አዕረጉ ፡ መሥዋዕቶ ፡ ቀደሙ ፡ ዘምሮ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ በአቅርንት ፡ ምስለ ፡ እንዚራ ፡ ዳዊት ፡ ንጉሠ ፡ እስራኤል ።
All the assembly worshiped, the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded. All this continued until the burnt offering was finished.
29:29 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּכְכַלּ֖וֹת לְהַעֲל֑וֹת כָּֽרְע֗וּ הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ וְכׇֽל ־הַנִּמְצְאִ֥ים אִתּ֖וֹ וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲוֽוּ ׃
καὶ ὡς συνετέλεσαν ἀναφέροντες ἔκαμψεν ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ πάντες οἱ εὑρεθέντες καὶ προσεκύνησαν
Cumque finita esset oblatio , incurvatus est rex , et omnes qui erant cum eo , et adoraverunt .
ወኵሉ ፡ ማኅበር ፡ ይሰግዱ ፡ ወበመዝሙር ፡ ይሴብሑ ፡ ወበአቅርንት ፡ ይነፍሑ ፡ እስከ ፡ ተፍጻሜተ ፡ መሥዋዕት ።
When they had finished offering, the king and all who were present with him bowed themselves and worshiped.
29:30 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַ֠יֹּ֠אמֶר יְחִזְקִיָּ֨הוּ הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ וְהַשָּׂרִים֙ לַלְוִיִּ֔ם לְהַלֵּל֙ לַֽיהֹוָ֔ה בְּדִבְרֵ֥י דָוִ֖יד וְאָסָ֣ף הַחֹזֶ֑ה וַֽיְהַלְלוּ֙ עַד ־לְשִׂמְחָ֔ה וַֽיִּקְּד֖וּ וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲוֽוּ ׃ {פ}
καὶ εἶπεν Εζεκιας ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες τοῖς Λευίταις ὑμνεῖν τὸν κύριον ἐν λόγοις Δαυιδ καὶ Ασαφ τοῦ προφήτου καὶ ὕμνουν ἐν εὐφροσύνῃ καὶ ἔπεσον καὶ προσεκύνησαν
Praecepitque Ezechias et principes Levitis , ut laudarent Dominum sermonibus David , et Asaph videntis : qui laudaverunt eum magna laetitia , et incurvato genu adoraverunt .
ወሶበ ፡ ፈጸመ ፡ አዕርጎ ፡ መሥዋዕት ፡ አስተብረከ ፡ ንጉሥ ፡ ወኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ሀለዉ ፡ ምስሌሁ ፡ ሰገዱ ።
Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praises to Yahweh with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. They sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshiped.
29:31 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיַּ֨עַן יְחִזְקִיָּ֜הוּ וַיֹּ֗אמֶר עַתָּה֙ מִלֵּאתֶ֤ם יֶדְכֶם֙ לַֽיהֹוָ֔ה גֹּ֧שׁוּ וְהָבִ֛יאוּ זְבָחִ֥ים וְתוֹד֖וֹת לְבֵ֣ית יְהֹוָ֑ה וַיָּבִ֤יאוּ הַקָּהָל֙ זְבָחִ֣ים וְתוֹד֔וֹת וְכׇל ־נְדִ֥יב לֵ֖ב עֹלֽוֹת ׃
καὶ ἀπεκρίθη Εζεκιας καὶ εἶπεν νῦν ἐπληρώσατε τὰς χεῖρας ὑμῶν κυρίῳ προσαγάγετε καὶ φέρετε θυσίας καὶ αἰνέσεως εἰς οἶκον κυρίου καὶ ἀνήνεγκεν ἡ ἐκκλησία θυσίας καὶ αἰνέσεως εἰς οἶκον κυρίου καὶ πᾶς πρόθυμος τῇ καρδίᾳ ὁλοκαυτώσεις
Ezechias autem etiam haec addidit : Implestis manus vestras Domino : accedite , et offerte victimas et laudes in domo Domini . Obtulit ergo universa multitudo hostias , et laudes , et holocausta , mente devota .
ወይቤ ፡ ሕዝቅያስ ፡ ንጉሥ ፡ ለመኳንንት ፡ ወለሌዋውያን ፡ ከመ ፡ ይሰብሕዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ በስብሐተ ፡ ዳዊት ፡ ወአሳፍ ፡ ነቢይ ፡ ወሰብሕዎ ፡ በኃሤት ፡ ወአስተብሪኮሙ ፡ ሰገዱ ።
Then Hezekiah answered, “Now you have consecrated yourselves to Yahweh. Come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into Yahweh’s house.” The assembly brought in sacrifices and thank offerings, and as many as were of a willing heart brought burnt offerings.
29:32 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְהִ֞י מִסְפַּ֣ר הָעֹלָה֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הֵבִ֣יאוּ הַקָּהָל֒ בָּקָ֣ר שִׁבְעִ֔ים אֵילִ֥ים מֵאָ֖ה כְּבָשִׂ֣ים מָאתָ֑יִם לְעֹלָ֥ה לַֽיהֹוָ֖ה כׇּל ־אֵֽלֶּה ׃
καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ ἀριθμὸς τῆς ὁλοκαυτώσεως ἧς ἀνήνεγκεν ἡ ἐκκλησία μόσχοι ἑβδομήκοντα κριοὶ ἑκατόν ἀμνοὶ διακόσιοι εἰς ὁλοκαύτωσιν κυρίῳ πάντα ταῦτα
Porro numerus holocaustorum quae obtulit multitudo , hic fuit : tauros septuaginta , arietes centum , agnos ducentos .
ወአውሥአ ፡ ሕዝቅያስ ፡ ንጉሥ ፡ ወይቤ ፡ ይእዜሰ ፡ አርቲዐ ፡ ክሙ ፡ እደዊክሙ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ አቅርቡ ።
The number of the burnt offerings which the assembly brought was seventy bulls, one hundred rams, and two hundred lambs. All these were for a burnt offering to Yahweh.
29:33 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְֽהַקֳּדָשִׁ֑ים בָּקָר֙ שֵׁ֣שׁ מֵא֔וֹת וְצֹ֖אן שְׁלֹ֥שֶׁת אֲלָפִֽים ׃
καὶ οἱ ἡγιασμένοι μόσχοι ἑξακόσιοι πρόβατα τρισχίλια
Sanctificaveruntque Domino boves sexcentos , et oves tria millia .
ወአምጽኡ ፡ መሥዋዕተ ፡ ወስብሐተ ፡ ለቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወአዕረጉ ፡ ማኅበር ፡ መሥዋዕተ ፡ ወስብሐተ ፡ ለቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ዘበንጹሕ ፡ ልብ ፡ ሦዑ ።
The consecrated things were six hundred head of cattle and three thousand sheep.
29:34 ⧉ ⤴︎ רַ֤ק הַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ הָי֣וּ לִמְעָ֔ט וְלֹ֣א יָכְל֔וּ לְהַפְשִׁ֖יט אֶת ־כׇּל ־הָעֹל֑וֹת וַֽיְחַזְּק֞וּם אֲחֵיהֶ֣ם הַלְוִיִּ֗ם עַד ־כְּל֤וֹת הַמְּלָאכָה֙ וְעַ֣ד יִתְקַדְּשׁ֣וּ הַכֹּהֲנִ֔ים כִּ֤י הַלְוִיִּם֙ יִשְׁרֵ֣י לֵבָ֔ב לְהִתְקַדֵּ֖שׁ מֵהַכֹּהֲנִֽים ׃
ἀλλ’ ἢ οἱ ἱερεῖς ὀλίγοι ἦσαν καὶ οὐκ ἐδύναντο δεῖραι τὴν ὁλοκαύτωσιν καὶ ἀντελάβοντο αὐτῶν οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν οἱ Λευῖται ἕως οὗ συνετελέσθη τὸ ἔργον καὶ ἕως οὗ ἡγνίσθησαν οἱ ἱερεῖς ὅτι οἱ Λευῖται προθύμως ἡγνίσθησαν παρὰ τοὺς ἱερεῖς
Sacerdotes vero pauci erant , nec poterant sufficere ut pelles holocaustorum detraherent : unde et Levitae fratres eorum adjuverunt eos , donec impleretur opus , et sanctificarentur antistites : Levitae quippe faciliori ritu sanctificantur quam sacerdotes .
ወኮነ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ኍልቈ ፡ መሥዋዕት ፡ ዘአዕረጉ ፡ ማኅበር ፡ አልሕምት ፡ ሰብዐ ፡ ወሐራጊት ፡ ምእተ ፡ ወአባግዕ ፡ ክልኤተ ፡ ምእተ ፡ ለመሥዋዕተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘአብኡ ።
But the priests were too few, so that they could not skin all the burnt offerings. Therefore their brothers the Levites helped them until the work was ended, and until the priests had sanctified themselves, for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.
29:35 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְגַם ־עֹלָ֨ה לָרֹ֜ב בְּחֶלְבֵ֧י הַשְּׁלָמִ֛ים וּבַנְּסָכִ֖ים לָֽעֹלָ֑ה וַתִּכּ֖וֹן עֲבוֹדַ֥ת בֵּית ־יְהֹוָֽה ׃
καὶ ἡ ὁλοκαύτωσις πολλὴ ἐν τοῖς στέασιν τῆς τελειώσεως τοῦ σωτηρίου καὶ τῶν σπονδῶν τῆς ὁλοκαυτώσεως καὶ κατωρθώθη τὸ ἔργον ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου
Fuerunt ergo holocausta plurima , adipes pacificorum , et libamina holocaustorum : et completus est cultus domus Domini .
ወኍልቈ ፡ አልሕምት ፡ ጣዕዋ ፡ እለ ፡ ተቀደሱ ፡ ስድስቱ ፡ ምእት ፡ ወአባግዕ ፡ ሠላሳ ፡ ምእት ።
Also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings and with the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of Yahweh’s house was set in order.
29:36 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּשְׂמַ֤ח יְחִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ וְכׇל ־הָעָ֔ם עַ֛ל הַהֵכִ֥ין הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים לָעָ֑ם כִּ֥י בְּפִתְאֹ֖ם הָיָ֥ה הַדָּבָֽר ׃ {פ}
καὶ ηὐφράνθη Εζεκιας καὶ πᾶς ὁ λαὸς διὰ τὸ ἡτοιμακέναι τὸν θεὸν τῷ λαῷ ὅτι ἐξάπινα ἐγένετο ὁ λόγος
Laetatusque est Ezechias et omnis populus , eo quod ministerium Domini esset expletum : de repente quippe hoc fieri placuerat .
ወካህናትኒ ፡ ኅዳጣን ፡ ወኢይክሉ ፡ አዕርጎ ፡ መሥዋዕት ፡ ወአጽንዕዎሙ ፡ አኃዊሆሙ ፡ ሌዋውያን ፡ እስከ ፡ ተፈጸመ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ግብር ፡ ወእስከ ፡ ይነጽሑ ፡ ካህናት ፡ እስመ ፡ ሌዋውያን ፡ ነጽሑ ፡ እምልብ ፡ ፈድፋደ ፡ እምካህናት ።
Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced because of that which God had prepared for the people; for the thing was done suddenly.
29:37 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — — ወበዝኀ ፡ መሥዋዕት ፡ ካዕበ ፡ ወሞፃሕቶሙ ፡ ወረትዐ ፡ ግብር ፡ በቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced because of that which God had prepared for the people; for the thing was done suddenly.
29:38 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — — ወተፈሥሐ ፡ ሕዝቅያስ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ዘአስተዳለወ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሕዝቡ ፡ ወዘእንበለ ፡ ትሕዝብት ፡ ተገብረ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ግብር ።
