29:1
בַּשָּׁנָה֙ הָעֲשִׂרִ֔ית בָּעֲשִׂרִ֕י בִּשְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָׂ֖ר לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ הָיָ֥ה דְבַר־יְהֹוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃
ἐν τῷ ἔτει τῷ δεκάτῳ ἐν τῷ δεκάτῳ μηνὶ μιᾷ τοῦ μηνὸς ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων
In anno decimo, decimo mense, undecima die mensis, factum est verbum Domini ad me, dicens :
አመ፡ ዐሠርቱ፡ ዓመት፣፡ በዐሥር፡ ወርኅ፣፡ አመ፡ ዐሡሩ፡ ወሰኑዩ፡ ለሠርቅ፡ ነበበኒ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወይቤለኒ።
In the tenth year, in the tenth month, on the twelfth day of the month, Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
29:2
בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם שִׂ֣ים פָּנֶ֔יךָ עַל־פַּרְעֹ֖ה מֶ֣לֶךְ מִצְרָ֑יִם וְהִנָּבֵ֣א עָלָ֔יו וְעַל־מִצְרַ֖יִם כֻּלָּֽהּ׃
υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου στήρισον τὸ πρόσωπόν σου ἐπὶ Φαραω βασιλέα Αἰγύπτου καὶ προφήτευσον ἐπ’ αὐτὸν καὶ ἐπ’ Αἴγυπτον ὅλην
Fili hominis, pone faciem tuam contra Pharaonem regem Aegypti, et prophetabis de eo, et de Aegypto universa.
ወልደ፡ እጓለ፡ እመሕያው፡ አጽንዕ፡ ገጸከ፡ ዲበ፡ ፈርዖን፡ ንጉሠ፡ ግብጽ፡ ወተነበይ፡ ላዕሌሁ፡ ወላዕለ፡ ኵሉ፡ ግብጽ።
“Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him and against all Egypt.
29:3
דַּבֵּ֨ר וְאָמַרְתָּ֜ כֹּה־אָמַ֣ר׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֗ה הִנְנִ֤י עָלֶ֙יךָ֙ פַּרְעֹ֣ה מֶלֶךְ־מִצְרַ֔יִם הַתַּנִּים֙ הַגָּד֔וֹל הָרֹבֵ֖ץ בְּת֣וֹךְ יְאֹרָ֑יו אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָמַ֛ר לִ֥י יְאֹרִ֖י וַאֲנִ֥י עֲשִׂיתִֽנִי׃
καὶ εἰπόν τάδε λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπὶ Φαραω τὸν δράκοντα τὸν μέγαν τὸν ἐγκαθήμενον ἐν μέσῳ ποταμῶν αὐτοῦ τὸν λέγοντα ἐμοί εἰσιν οἱ ποταμοί καὶ ἐγὼ ἐποίησα αὐτούς
Loquere, et dices : Haec dicit Dominus Deus : Ecce ego ad te, Pharao rex Aegypti, draco magne, qui cubas in medio fluminum tuorum, et dicis : Meus est fluvius, et ego feci memetipsum.
ወበሎሙ፡ ወንግሮሙ፡ ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ናሁ፡ አነ፡ አመጽእ፡ ላዕሌከ፡ ፈርዖን፡ ንጉሠ፡ ግብጽ፡ ከይሴ፡ ዓቢየ፡ ዘይነብር፡ ላዕለ፡ አፍላጊሁ፡ ዘይብል፡ ዚአየ፡ ውእቱ፡ አፍላግ፡ ወአነ፡ ገበርክዎሙ።
Speak and say, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Behold, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great monster that lies in the middle of his rivers, that has said, ‘My river is my own, and I have made it for myself.’
29:4
וְנָתַתִּ֤י (חחיים) [חַחִים֙] בִּלְחָיֶ֔יךָ וְהִדְבַּקְתִּ֥י דְגַת־יְאֹרֶ֖יךָ בְּקַשְׂקְשֹׂתֶ֑יךָ וְהַעֲלִיתִ֙יךָ֙ מִתּ֣וֹךְ יְאֹרֶ֔יךָ וְאֵת֙ כׇּל־דְּגַ֣ת יְאֹרֶ֔יךָ בְּקַשְׂקְשֹׂתֶ֖יךָ תִּדְבָּֽק׃
καὶ ἐγὼ δώσω παγίδας εἰς τὰς σιαγόνας σου καὶ προσκολλήσω τοὺς ἰχθῦς τοῦ ποταμοῦ σου πρὸς τὰς πτέρυγάς σου καὶ ἀνάξω σε ἐκ μέσου τοῦ ποταμοῦ σου καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἰχθύας τοῦ ποταμοῦ σου
Et ponam frenum in maxillis tuis, et agglutinabo pisces fluminum tuorum squamis tuis, et extraham te de medio fluminum tuorum, et universi pisces tui squamis tuis adhaerebunt.
ወአነ፡ እወዲ፡ መሥገርተ፡ ውስተ፡ መላትሒከ፡ ወአስተጣግዖሙ፡ ለዓሣተ፡ ፈለግከ፡ በቅሣርከ፡ ወአወፅአከ፡ እማእከለ፡ ፈለግከ፣፡ ወኵሉ፡ ዓሣተ፡ ፈለግከ፡ ይገብኡ፡ በቅርፈትከ።
I will put hooks in your jaws, and I will make the fish of your rivers stick to your scales. I will bring you up out of the middle of your rivers, with all the fish of your rivers which stick to your scales.
29:5
וּנְטַשְׁתִּ֣יךָ הַמִּדְבָּ֗רָה אוֹתְךָ֙ וְאֵת֙ כׇּל־דְּגַ֣ת יְאֹרֶ֔יךָ עַל־פְּנֵ֤י הַשָּׂדֶה֙ תִּפּ֔וֹל לֹ֥א תֵאָסֵ֖ף וְלֹ֣א תִקָּבֵ֑ץ לְחַיַּ֥ת הָאָ֛רֶץ וּלְע֥וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם נְתַתִּ֥יךָ לְאׇכְלָֽה׃
καὶ καταβαλῶ σε ἐν τάχει καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἰχθύας τοῦ ποταμοῦ σου ἐπὶ πρόσωπον τοῦ πεδίου πεσῇ καὶ οὐ μὴ συναχθῇς καὶ οὐ μὴ περισταλῇς τοῖς θηρίοις τῆς γῆς καὶ τοῖς πετεινοῖς τοῦ οὐρανοῦ δέδωκά σε εἰς κατάβρωμα
Et projiciam te in desertum, et omnes pisces fluminis tui : super faciem terrae cades ; non colligeris, neque congregaberis : bestiis terrae et volatilibus caeli dedi te ad devorandum.
ወእነፅኀከ፡ ፍጡነ፡ ወትትነፃኅ፡ ውስተ፡ ገጸ፡ ገዳም፡ ወኵሉ፡ ዓሣተ፡ ፈለግከ፣፡ ትወድቅ፡ ወኢትትጋባእ፡ እንከ፡ ወይገድፉከ፡ ለአርዌ፡ ገዳም፡ ወለአዕዋፈ፡ ሰማይ፡ ወሀብኩከ፡ ይብልዑከ።
I’ll cast you out into the wilderness, you and all the fish of your rivers. You’ll fall on the open field. You won’t be brought together or gathered. I have given you for food to the animals of the earth and to the birds of the sky.
29:6
וְיָֽדְעוּ֙ כׇּל־יֹשְׁבֵ֣י מִצְרַ֔יִם כִּ֖י אֲנִ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה יַ֧עַן הֱיוֹתָ֛ם מִשְׁעֶ֥נֶת קָנֶ֖ה לְבֵ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
καὶ γνώσονται πάντες οἱ κατοικοῦντες Αἴγυπτον ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ἀνθ’ ὧν ἐγενήθης ῥάβδος καλαμίνη τῷ οἴκῳ Ισραηλ
Et scient omnes habitatores Aegypti quia ego Dominus, pro eo quod fuisti baculus arundineus domui Israël :
ወየአምሩ፡ ኵሎሙ፡ እለ፡ ይነብሩ፡ በግብጽ፡ ከመ፡ አነ፡ ውእቱ፡ እግዚአብሔር። እስመ፡ ኮንክሙ፡ በትረ፡ ብርዕ፡ ለቤተ፡ እስራኤል።
“‘“All the inhabitants of Egypt will know that I am Yahweh, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.
29:7
בְּתׇפְשָׂ֨ם בְּךָ֤ (בכפך) [בַכַּף֙] תֵּר֔וֹץ וּבָקַעְתָּ֥ לָהֶ֖ם כׇּל־כָּתֵ֑ף וּבְהִֽשָּׁעֲנָ֤ם עָלֶ֙יךָ֙ תִּשָּׁבֵ֔ר וְהַעֲמַדְתָּ֥ לָהֶ֖ם כׇּל־מׇתְנָֽיִם׃ {ס}
ὅτε ἐπελάβοντό σου τῇ χειρὶ αὐτῶν ἐθλάσθης καὶ ὅτε ἐπεκράτησεν ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς πᾶσα χεὶρ καὶ ὅτε ἐπανεπαύσαντο ἐπὶ σέ συνετρίβης καὶ συνέκλασας αὐτῶν πᾶσαν ὀσφύν
quando apprehenderunt te manu, et confractus es, et lacerasti omnem humerum eorum : et innitentibus eis super te comminutus es, et dissolvisti omnes renes eorum.
እንተ፡ አመ፡ አስመኩ፡ ዲቤሃ፡ ትሠፀር፡ ውስተ፡ እደ፡ ኵሉ፣፡ ወሶበ፡ አስመኩ፡ ዲቤሃ፡ ትትቀጠቀጥ፡ ኵሉ፡ መትከፍት፡ ወይሰበር፡ ሐቌ፡ ኵሎሙ።
When they took hold of you by your hand, you broke and tore all their shoulders. When they leaned on you, you broke and paralyzed all of their thighs.”
29:8
לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה הִנְנִ֛י מֵבִ֥יא עָלַ֖יִךְ חָ֑רֶב וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י מִמֵּ֖ךְ אָדָ֥ם וּבְהֵמָֽה׃
διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπάγω ἐπὶ σὲ ῥομφαίαν καὶ ἀπολῶ ἀνθρώπους ἀπὸ σοῦ καὶ κτήνη
Propterea haec dicit Dominus Deus : Ecce ego adducam super te gladium, et interficiam de te hominem et jumentum.
በበይነ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ናሁ፡ አነ፡ አመጽእ፡ ላዕሌከ፡ ኵናተ፡ ወአጠፍእ፡ ሰብአ፡ እምኔከ፡ ወእንስሳ።
“‘Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “Behold, I will bring a sword on you, and will cut off man and animal from you.
29:9
וְהָיְתָ֤ה אֶרֶץ־מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ לִשְׁמָמָ֣ה וְחׇרְבָּ֔ה וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּי־אֲנִ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה יַ֧עַן אָמַ֛ר יְאֹ֥ר לִ֖י וַאֲנִ֥י עָשִֽׂיתִי׃
καὶ ἔσται ἡ γῆ Αἰγύπτου ἀπώλεια καὶ ἔρημος καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ἀντὶ τοῦ λέγειν σε οἱ ποταμοὶ ἐμοί εἰσιν καὶ ἐγὼ ἐποίησα αὐτούς
Et erit terra Aegypti in desertum et in solitudinem : et scient quia ego Dominus, pro eo quod dixeris : Fluvius meus est, et ego feci eum.
ወትከውን፡ ምድረ፡ ግብጽ፡ በዳ፡ በወድወ፣፡ ወየአምሩ፡ ከመ፡ አነ፡ ውእቱ፡ እግዚአብሔር። እስመ፡ ትቤ፡ ዚአየ፡ ውእቱ፡ አፍላግ፡ ወአነ፡ ፈጠርክዎሙ።
The land of Egypt will be a desolation and a waste. Then they will know that I am Yahweh. “‘“Because he has said, ‘The river is mine, and I have made it,’
29:10
לָכֵ֛ן הִנְנִ֥י אֵלֶ֖יךָ וְאֶל־יְאֹרֶ֑יךָ וְנָתַתִּ֞י אֶת־אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֗יִם לְחׇרְבוֹת֙ חֹ֣רֶב שְׁמָמָ֔ה מִמִּגְדֹּ֥ל סְוֵנֵ֖ה וְעַד־גְּב֥וּל כּֽוּשׁ׃
διὰ τοῦτο ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπὶ σὲ καὶ ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς ποταμούς σου καὶ δώσω γῆν Αἰγύπτου εἰς ἔρημον καὶ ῥομφαίαν καὶ ἀπώλειαν ἀπὸ Μαγδώλου καὶ Συήνης καὶ ἕως ὁρίων Αἰθιόπων
Idcirco ecce ego ad te, et ad flumina tua : daboque terram Aegypti in solitudines, gladio dissipatam, a turre Syenes usque ad terminos Aethiopiae.
በበይነ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ናሁ፡ አነ፡ እመጽእ፡ ላዕሌከ፡ ወላዕለ፡ ኵሉ፡ አፍላግከ፡ ወእሬስያ፡ ለምድረ፡ ግብጽ፡ በድወ፡ በእንተ፡ ኲናት፡ ወብድብድ፡ እምነ፡ መግደሎ፡ ወሴዌኔ፡ እስከ፡ ደወለ፡ ኢትዮጵያ።
therefore, behold, I am against you and against your rivers. I will make the land of Egypt an utter waste and desolation, from the tower of Seveneh even to the border of Ethiopia.
29:11
לֹ֤א תַֽעֲבׇר־בָּהּ֙ רֶ֣גֶל אָדָ֔ם וְרֶ֥גֶל בְּהֵמָ֖ה לֹ֣א תַֽעֲבׇר־בָּ֑הּ וְלֹ֥א תֵשֵׁ֖ב אַרְבָּעִ֥ים שָׁנָֽה׃
οὐ μὴ διέλθῃ ἐν αὐτῇ ποὺς ἀνθρώπου καὶ ποὺς κτήνους οὐ μὴ διέλθῃ αὐτήν καὶ οὐ κατοικηθήσεται τεσσαράκοντα ἔτη
Non pertransibit eam pes hominis, neque pes jumenti gradietur in ea, et non habitabitur quadraginta annis.
ወኢየኀልፍ፡ እንተ፡ ህየ፡ እግረ፡ ሰብእ፡ ወእንስሳ፣፡ ወኢየኀድርዋ፡ እስከ፡ ፵፡ ዓመት።
No foot of man will pass through it, nor will any animal foot pass through it. It won’t be inhabited for forty years.
29:12
וְנָתַתִּ֣י אֶת־אֶ֩רֶץ֩ מִצְרַ֨יִם שְׁמָמָ֜ה בְּת֣וֹךְ׀ אֲרָצ֣וֹת נְשַׁמּ֗וֹת וְעָרֶ֙יהָ֙ בְּת֨וֹךְ עָרִ֤ים מׇֽחֳרָבוֹת֙ תִּהְיֶ֣יןָ שְׁמָמָ֔ה אַרְבָּעִ֖ים שָׁנָ֑ה וַהֲפִצֹתִ֤י אֶת־מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ בַּגּוֹיִ֔ם וְזֵרִיתִ֖ים בָּאֲרָצֽוֹת׃ {ס}
καὶ δώσω τὴν γῆν αὐτῆς ἀπώλειαν ἐν μέσῳ γῆς ἠρημωμένης καὶ αἱ πόλεις αὐτῆς ἐν μέσῳ πόλεων ἠρημωμένων ἔσονται τεσσαράκοντα ἔτη καὶ διασπερῶ Αἴγυπτον ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν καὶ λικμήσω αὐτοὺς εἰς τὰς χώρας
Daboque terram Aegypti desertam in medio terrarum desertarum, et civitates ejus in medio urbium subversarum, et erunt desolatae quadraginta annis : et dispergam Aegyptios in nationes, et ventilabo eos in terras.
ወእሬስያ፡ ለምድራ፡ በድወ፡ በማእከለ፡ ሀገር፡ እንተ፡ መዝበረት፡ ወአህጉሪሃኒ፡ ይንኅል፡ በማእከለ፡ አህጉር፡ እለ፡ መዝበራ፡ ወአማሰና፡ ፵፡ ዓመተ። ወእዘርዎሙ፡ ለግብጽ፡ ውስተ፡ አሕዛብ፡ ወእነፅኆሙ፡ ውስተ፡ ምድር፡ ወውስተ፡ በሐውርት።
I will make the land of Egypt a desolation in the middle of the countries that are desolate. Her cities among the cities that are laid waste will be a desolation forty years. I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.”
29:13
כִּ֛י כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֑ה מִקֵּ֞ץ אַרְבָּעִ֤ים שָׁנָה֙ אֲקַבֵּ֣ץ אֶת־מִצְרַ֔יִם מִן־הָעַמִּ֖ים אֲשֶׁר־נָפֹ֥צוּ שָֽׁמָּה׃
τάδε λέγει κύριος μετὰ τεσσαράκοντα ἔτη συνάξω τοὺς Αἰγυπτίους ἀπὸ τῶν ἐθνῶν οὗ διεσκορπίσθησαν ἐκεῖ
Quia haec dicit Dominus Deus : Post finem quadraginta annorum congregabo Aegyptum de populis in quibus dispersi fuerant.
ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እግዚእ፡ ወእምድኅረ፡ ፵ዓመት፡ አስተጋብኦሙ፡ ለግብጽ፡ እምነ፡ አሕዛብ፡ ኀበ፡ ተዘርዉ፡ ህየ።
“‘For the Lord Yahweh says: “At the end of forty years I will gather the Egyptians from the peoples where they were scattered.
29:14
וְשַׁבְתִּי֙ אֶת־שְׁב֣וּת מִצְרַ֔יִם וַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֤י אֹתָם֙ אֶ֣רֶץ פַּתְר֔וֹס עַל־אֶ֖רֶץ מְכוּרָתָ֑ם וְהָ֥יוּ שָׁ֖ם מַמְלָכָ֥ה שְׁפָלָֽה׃
καὶ ἀποστρέψω τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν τῶν Αἰγυπτίων καὶ κατοικίσω αὐτοὺς ἐν γῇ Παθουρης ἐν τῇ γῇ ὅθεν ἐλήμφθησαν καὶ ἔσται ἀρχὴ ταπεινὴ
Et reducam captivitatem Aegypti, et collocabo eos in terra Phathures, in terra nativitatis suae, et erunt ibi in regnum humile.
ወእመይጥ፡ ፄዋ፡ ግብጽ፡ ወአነብሮሙ፡ ብሔረ፡ ፍቶሬስ፣፡ ውስተ፡ ምድር፡ እምኀበ፡ ነሥእዎሙ፣፡ ወየኀሥሩ፡ ቀደምቶሙ፡ እምኵሉ፡ ቀደምት።
I will reverse the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their birth. There they will be a lowly kingdom.
29:15
מִן־הַמַּמְלָכוֹת֙ תִּֽהְיֶ֣ה שְׁפָלָ֔ה וְלֹֽא־תִתְנַשֵּׂ֥א ע֖וֹד עַל־הַגּוֹיִ֑ם וְהִ֨מְעַטְתִּ֔ים לְבִלְתִּ֖י רְד֥וֹת בַּגּוֹיִֽם׃
παρὰ πάσας τὰς ἀρχάς οὐ μὴ ὑψωθῇ ἔτι ἐπὶ τὰ ἔθνη καὶ ὀλιγοστοὺς αὐτοὺς ποιήσω τοῦ μὴ εἶναι αὐτοὺς πλείονας ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν
Inter cetera regna erit humillima, et non elevabitur ultra super nationes, et imminuam eos ne imperent gentibus.
ወይከውኑ፡ መንግሥተ፡ ንኡሰ፡ ከመ፡ ኢይትዐበዩ፡ ላዕለ፡ አሕዛብ፡ ወእሬስዮሙ፡ ውሑዳነ፡ ከመ፡ ኢይብዝኁ፡ ውስተ፡ አሕዛብ።
It will be the lowest of the kingdoms. It won’t lift itself up above the nations any more. I will diminish them so that they will no longer rule over the nations.
29:16
וְלֹ֣א יִֽהְיֶה־עוֹד֩ לְבֵ֨ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל לְמִבְטָח֙ מַזְכִּ֣יר עָוֺ֔ן בִּפְנוֹתָ֖ם אַחֲרֵיהֶ֑ם וְיָ֣דְע֔וּ כִּ֥י אֲנִ֖י אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה׃ {פ}
καὶ οὐκέτι ἔσονται τῷ οἴκῳ Ισραηλ εἰς ἐλπίδα ἀναμιμνῄσκουσαν ἀνομίαν ἐν τῷ αὐτοὺς ἀκολουθῆσαι ὀπίσω αὐτῶν καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος
Neque erunt ultra domui Israël in confidentia, docentes iniquitatem ut fugiant, et sequantur eos : et scient quia ego Dominus Deus.
ወኢይሄልዉ፡ እንከ፡ ውስተ፡ ቤተ፡ እስራኤል፡ በተወክሎ፡ እንተ፡ ትዜከር፡ ኃጢአተ፡ እስመ፡ ተለውዎሙ፣፡ ወየአምሩ፡ ከመ፡ አነ፡ ውእቱ፡ አዶናይ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
It will no longer be the confidence of the house of Israel, bringing iniquity to memory, when they turn to look after them. Then they will know that I am the Lord Yahweh.”’”
29:17
וַיְהִ֗י בְּעֶשְׂרִ֤ים וָשֶׁ֙בַע֙ שָׁנָ֔ה בָּרִאשׁ֖וֹן בְּאֶחָ֣ד לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ הָיָ֥ה דְבַר־יְהֹוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃
καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ ἑβδόμῳ καὶ εἰκοστῷ ἔτει μιᾷ τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ πρώτου ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων
Et factum est in vigesimo et septimo anno, in primo, in una mensis : factum est verbum Domini ad me, dicens :
ወአመ፡ ፳ወ፯፡ ዓመት፣፡ አመ፡ ርእሰ፡ ሠርቀ፡ ወርኅ፡ ቀዳሚ፡ ነበበኒ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወይቤለኒ።
It came to pass in the twenty-seventh year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
29:18
בֶּן־אָדָ֗ם נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֣ר מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּ֠בֶ֠ל הֶעֱבִ֨יד אֶת־חֵיל֜וֹ עֲבֹדָ֤ה גְדוֹלָה֙ אֶל־צֹ֔ר כׇּל־רֹ֣אשׁ מֻקְרָ֔ח וְכׇל־כָּתֵ֖ף מְרוּטָ֑ה וְ֠שָׂכָ֠ר לֹא־הָ֨יָה ל֤וֹ וּלְחֵילוֹ֙ מִצֹּ֔ר עַל־הָעֲבֹדָ֖ה אֲשֶׁר־עָבַ֥ד עָלֶֽיהָ׃ {ס}
υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου Ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλεὺς Βαβυλῶνος κατεδουλώσατο αὐτοῦ τὴν δύναμιν δουλείᾳ μεγάλῃ ἐπὶ Τύρου πᾶσα κεφαλὴ φαλακρὰ καὶ πᾶς ὦμος μαδῶν καὶ μισθὸς οὐκ ἐγενήθη αὐτῷ καὶ τῇ δυνάμει αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ Τύρου καὶ τῆς δουλείας ἧς ἐδούλευσαν ἐπ’ αὐτήν
Fili hominis, Nabuchodonosor rex Babylonis servire fecit exercitum suum servitute magna adversum Tyrum : omne caput decalvatum, et omnis humerus depilatus est : et merces non est reddita ei, neque exercitui ejus, de Tyro, pro servitute qua servivit mihi adversus eam.
ወልደ፡ እጓለ፡ እመሕያው፣፡ ናቡከደነፆር፡ ንጉሠ፡ ባቢሎን፡ ኰነኖሙ፡ ለሠራዊቱ፡ ዓቢየ፡ ኵነኔ፡ በጢሮስ፣፡ ውስተ፡ ኵሉ፡ ርእስ፡ ብርሐት፡ ወተመልጦ፡ ኵሉ፡ መትከፍት፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዓስብ፡ ወተኀየላ፡ ለጢሮስ፡ ወቀነያ፡ ወኰነና።
“Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyre. Every head was made bald, and every shoulder was worn; yet he had no wages, nor did his army, from Tyre, for the service that he had served against it.
29:19
לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה הִנְנִ֥י נֹתֵ֛ן לִנְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֥ר מֶלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֖ל אֶת־אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם וְנָשָׂ֨א הֲמֹנָ֜הּ וְשָׁלַ֤ל שְׁלָלָהּ֙ וּבָזַ֣ז בִּזָּ֔הּ וְהָיְתָ֥ה שָׂכָ֖ר לְחֵילֽוֹ׃
τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ἰδοὺ δίδωμι τῷ Ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλεῖ Βαβυλῶνος γῆν Αἰγύπτου καὶ προνομεύσει τὴν προνομὴν αὐτῆς καὶ σκυλεύσει τὰ σκῦλα αὐτῆς καὶ ἔσται μισθὸς τῇ δυνάμει αὐτοῦ
Propterea haec dicit Dominus Deus : Ecce ego dabo Nabuchodonosor regem Babylonis in terra Aegypti : et accipiet multitudinem ejus, et depraedabitur manubias ejus, et diripiet spolia ejus : et erit merces exercitui illius,
በበይነ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ናሁ፡ እሁቦ፡ ለናቡከደነፆር፡ ንጉሠ፡ ባቢሎን፡ ምድረ፡ ግብጽ፡ ወይነሥእ፡ ብዙኀ፡ ወይመሀርክ፡ ምህርካ፡ ወይበረብር፡ በርበራ። ወይሁቦሙ፡ ዓስቦሙ፡ ለሠራዊቱ።
Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: ‘Behold, I will give the land of Egypt to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. He will carry off her multitude, take her plunder, and take her prey. That will be the wages for his army.
29:20
פְּעֻלָּתוֹ֙ אֲשֶׁר־עָ֣בַד בָּ֔הּ נָתַ֥תִּי ל֖וֹ אֶת־אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם אֲשֶׁר֙ עָ֣שׂוּ לִ֔י נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה׃
ἀντὶ τῆς λειτουργίας αὐτοῦ ἧς ἐδούλευσεν ἐπὶ Τύρον δέδωκα αὐτῷ γῆν Αἰγύπτου τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος
et operi quo servivit adversus eam : dedi ei terram Aegypti pro eo quod laboraverit mihi, ait Dominus Deus.
ለእለ፡ ተቀንዩ፡ ሎቱ፡ ወተልእክዎ፡ ውስተ፡ ጢሮስ፡ ወሀብክዎ፡ ምድረ፡ ግብጽ፡ በእንተ፡ ኵሉ፡ ዘገብሩ፡ ብየ። ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እግዚእ።
I have given him the land of Egypt as his payment for which he served, because they worked for me,’ says the Lord Yahweh.
29:21
בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא אַצְמִ֤יחַ קֶ֙רֶן֙ לְבֵ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וּלְךָ֛ אֶתֵּ֥ן פִּתְחֽוֹן־פֶּ֖ה בְּתוֹכָ֑ם וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה׃ {פ}
ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ἀνατελεῖ κέρας παντὶ τῷ οἴκῳ Ισραηλ καὶ σοὶ δώσω στόμα ἀνεῳγμένον ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος
In die illo pullulabit cornu domui Israël, et tibi dabo apertum os in medio eorum, et scient quia ego Dominus.
ውእተ፡ አሚረ፡ ይበቍል፡ ቀርን፡ ለኵሉ፡ ቤተ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወእሁበከ፡ አፈ፡ ክሡተ፡ በማእከሎሙ፣፡ ወየአምሩ፡ ከመ፡ አነ፡ ውእቱ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
“In that day I will cause a horn to sprout for the house of Israel, and I will open your mouth among them. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.”
