30:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר ־יְהֹוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων
Et factum est verbum Domini ad me , dicens :
ወነበበኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወይቤለኒ ።
Yahweh’s word came again to me, saying,
30:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ בֶּן ־אָדָ֕ם הִנָּבֵא֙ וְאָ֣מַרְתָּ֔ כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֑ה הֵילִ֖ילוּ הָ֥הּ לַיּֽוֹם ׃
υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου προφήτευσον καὶ εἰπόν τάδε λέγει κύριος ὦ ὦ ἡ ἡμέρα
Fili hominis , propheta , et dic : Haec dicit Dominus Deus : Ululate : Vae , vae diei !
ወልደ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ ተነበይ ፡ ወበል ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ አዶናይ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አዕለት ።
“Son of man, prophesy, and say, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Wail, ‘Alas for the day!’
30:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּֽי ־קָר֣וֹב י֔וֹם וְקָר֥וֹב י֖וֹם לַֽיהֹוָ֑ה י֣וֹם עָנָ֔ן עֵ֥ת גּוֹיִ֖ם יִהְיֶֽה ׃
ὅτι ἐγγὺς ἡ ἡμέρα τοῦ κυρίου ἡμέρα πέρας ἐθνῶν ἔσται
quia juxta est dies , et appropinquat dies Domini , dies nubis : tempus gentium erit .
እንተ ፡ አልጸቀት ፣፡ ዕለት ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፣፡ ዕለተ ፡ ደመና ፡ በጽሐት ፡ ማኅለቅቶሙ ፡ ለአሕዛብ ።
For the day is near, even Yahweh’s day is near. It will be a day of clouds, a time of the nations.
30:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבָאָ֥ה חֶ֙רֶב֙ בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם וְהָיְתָ֤ה חַלְחָלָה֙ בְּכ֔וּשׁ בִּנְפֹ֥ל חָלָ֖ל בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם וְלָקְח֣וּ הֲמוֹנָ֔הּ וְנֶהֶרְס֖וּ יְסֹדוֹתֶֽיהָ ׃
καὶ ἥξει μάχαιρα ἐπ’ Αἰγυπτίους καὶ ἔσται ταραχὴ ἐν τῇ Αἰθιοπίᾳ καὶ πεσοῦνται τετραυματισμένοι ἐν Αἰγύπτῳ καὶ συμπεσεῖται αὐτῆς τὰ θεμέλια
Et veniet gladius in Aegyptum , et erit pavor in Aethiopia , cum ceciderint vulnerati in Aegypto , et ablata fuerit multitudo illius , et destructa fundamenta ejus .
ወትመጽእ ፡ መጥባሕት ፡ ዲበ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ወይከውን ፡ ሀከክ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኢትዮጵያ ፣፡ ወይወድቁ ፡ ቅቱላን ፡ ውስተ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ወይነሥእዋ ፡ ብዝኃ ፡ ወይወድቁ ፡ መሠረታቲሃ ።
A sword will come on Egypt, and anguish will be in Ethiopia, when the slain fall in Egypt. They take away her multitude, and her foundations are broken down.
30:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ כּ֣וּשׁ וּפ֤וּט וְלוּד֙ וְכׇל ־הָעֶ֣רֶב וְכ֔וּב וּבְנֵ֖י אֶ֣רֶץ הַבְּרִ֑ית אִתָּ֖ם בַּחֶ֥רֶב יִפֹּֽלוּ ׃ {פ}
Πέρσαι καὶ Κρῆτες καὶ Λυδοὶ καὶ Λίβυες καὶ πάντες οἱ ἐπίμικτοι καὶ τῶν υἱῶν τῆς διαθήκης μου μαχαίρᾳ πεσοῦνται ἐν αὐτῇ
Aethiopia , et Libya , et Lydi , et omne reliquum vulgus , et Chub , et filii terrae foederis , cum eis gladio cadent .
ኩስ ፡ ወፉጥ ፡ ወሉድ ፡ ወኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ተደመሩ ፣፡ ወደቂቀ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ዐረብ ፡ ወደቂቀ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ቀርጤ ፡ ይወድቁ ፡ በውስቴታ ፡ በመጥባሕት ።
“‘“Ethiopia, Put, Lud, all the mixed people, Cub, and the children of the land that is allied with them, will fall with them by the sword.”
30:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֔ה וְנָֽפְלוּ֙ סֹמְכֵ֣י מִצְרַ֔יִם וְיָרַ֖ד גְּא֣וֹן עֻזָּ֑הּ מִמִּגְדֹּ֣ל סְוֵנֵ֗ה בַּחֶ֙רֶב֙ יִפְּלוּ ־בָ֔הּ נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה ׃
καὶ πεσοῦνται τὰ ἀντιστηρίγματα Αἰγύπτου καὶ καταβήσεται ἡ ὕβρις τῆς ἰσχύος αὐτῆς ἀπὸ Μαγδώλου ἕως Συήνης μαχαίρᾳ πεσοῦνται ἐν αὐτῇ λέγει κύριος
Haec dicit Dominus Deus : Et corruent fulcientes Aegyptum , et destruetur superbia imperii ejus : a turre Syenes gladio cadent in ea , ait Dominus Deus exercituum .
ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይወድቁ ፡ አጽዋኒሆሙ ፡ ለግብጽ ፡ ወይጸድፍ ፡ ኃይላ ፡ ወየኀሥር ፡ እመግደሎ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሴዌኔስ ፡ ወይወድቁ ፡ በመጥባሕት ፡ ውስቴታ ፡ ይቤ ፡ አዶናይ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
“‘Yahweh says: “They also who uphold Egypt will fall. The pride of her power will come down. They will fall by the sword in it from the tower of Seveneh,” says the Lord Yahweh.
30:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְנָשַׁ֕מּוּ בְּת֖וֹךְ אֲרָצ֣וֹת נְשַׁמּ֑וֹת וְעָרָ֕יו בְּתוֹךְ ־עָרִ֥ים נַחֲרָב֖וֹת תִּֽהְיֶֽינָה ׃
καὶ ἐρημωθήσεται ἐν μέσῳ χωρῶν ἠρημωμένων καὶ αἱ πόλεις αὐτῶν ἐν μέσῳ πόλεων ἠρημωμένων ἔσονται
Et dissipabuntur in medio terrarum desolatarum , et urbes ejus in medio civitatum desertarum erunt :
ወትጠፍእ ፡ በማእከለ ፡ በሐውርት ፡ መዝበር ፡ ወአህጉሪሃኒ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ አህጉር ፡ መዝበረ ፡ ይሄልዋ ።
“They will be desolate in the middle of the countries that are desolate. Her cities will be among the cities that are wasted.
30:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי ־אֲנִ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה בְּתִתִּי ־אֵ֣שׁ בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם וְנִשְׁבְּר֖וּ כׇּל ־עֹזְרֶֽיהָ ׃
καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὅταν δῶ πῦρ ἐπ’ Αἴγυπτον καὶ συντριβῶσι πάντες οἱ βοηθοῦντες αὐτῇ
et scient quia ego Dominus , cum dedero ignem in Aegypto , et attriti fuerint omnes auxiliatores ejus .
ወየአምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አመ ፡ ፈኖኩ ፡ እሳተ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ወይትቀጠቀጡ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይረድእዋ ፡ በውስቴታ ።
They will know that I am Yahweh when I have set a fire in Egypt, and all her helpers are destroyed.
30:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יֵצְא֨וּ מַלְאָכִ֤ים מִלְּפָנַי֙ בַּצִּ֔ים לְהַחֲרִ֖יד אֶת ־כּ֣וּשׁ בֶּ֑טַח וְהָיְתָ֨ה חַלְחָלָ֤ה בָהֶם֙ בְּי֣וֹם מִצְרַ֔יִם כִּ֥י הִנֵּ֖ה בָּאָֽה ׃ {ס}
ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ἐξελεύσονται ἄγγελοι σπεύδοντες ἀφανίσαι τὴν Αἰθιοπίαν καὶ ἔσται ταραχὴ ἐν αὐτοῖς ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ Αἰγύπτου ὅτι ἰδοὺ ἥκει
In die illa egredientur nuntii a facie mea in trieribus ad conterendam Aethiopiae confidentiam : et erit pavor in eis in die Aegypti , quia absque dubio veniet .
ውእተ ፡ አሚረ ፡ ይመጽኡ ፡ መላእክት ፡ ርዉጸ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያጠፍእዎሙ ፡ ለኢትዮጵያ ፡ ወየትሀወኩ ፡ በዕለተ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ እስመ ፡ በጽሐት ።
“‘“In that day messengers will go out from before me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid. There will be anguish on them, as in the day of Egypt; for, behold, it comes.”
30:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֑ה וְהִשְׁבַּתִּי֙ אֶת ־הֲמ֣וֹן מִצְרַ֔יִם בְּיַ֖ד נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֥ר מֶלֶךְ ־בָּבֶֽל ׃
τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος καὶ ἀπολῶ πλῆθος Αἰγυπτίων διὰ χειρὸς Ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλέως Βαβυλῶνος
Haec dicit Dominus Deus : Cessare faciam multitudinem Aegypti in manu Nabuchodonosor regis Babylonis .
ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እግዚእ ፡ አጠፍኦሙ ፡ ለኵሎሙ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ በእደ ፡ ናቡከደነፆር ፡ ንጉሠ ፡ ባቢሎን ።
“‘The Lord Yahweh says: “I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease, by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.
30:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ ה֠וּא וְעַמּ֤וֹ אִתּוֹ֙ עָרִיצֵ֣י גוֹיִ֔ם מוּבָאִ֖ים לְשַׁחֵ֣ת הָאָ֑רֶץ וְהֵרִ֤יקוּ חַרְבוֹתָם֙ עַל ־מִצְרַ֔יִם וּמָלְא֥וּ אֶת ־הָאָ֖רֶץ חָלָֽל ׃
αὐτοῦ καὶ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ λοιμοὶ ἀπὸ ἐθνῶν ἀπεσταλμένοι ἀπολέσαι τὴν γῆν καὶ ἐκκενώσουσιν πάντες τὰς μαχαίρας αὐτῶν ἐπ’ Αἴγυπτον καὶ πλησθήσεται ἡ γῆ τραυματιῶν
Ipse et populus ejus cum eo , fortissimi gentium , adducentur ad disperdendam terram : et evaginabunt gladios suos super Aegyptum , et implebunt terram interfectis .
ውእቱ ፡ ወሕዝቡ ፡ የአክዩ ፡ እምአሕዛብ ፡ ወይትፌነዉ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያጥፍእዋ ፡ ለምድር ። ወይደራበይዎሙ ፡ በኰያንዊሆሙ ፡ ለግብጽ ፡ ወትመልእ ፡ ምድር ፡ አብድንተ ።
He and his people with him, the terrible of the nations, will be brought in to destroy the land. They will draw their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain.
30:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְנָתַתִּ֤י יְאֹרִים֙ חׇֽרָבָ֔ה וּמָכַרְתִּ֥י אֶת ־הָאָ֖רֶץ בְּיַד ־רָעִ֑ים וַהֲשִׁמֹּתִ֞י אֶ֤רֶץ וּמְלֹאָהּ֙ בְּיַד ־זָרִ֔ים אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה דִּבַּֽרְתִּי ׃ {ס}
καὶ δώσω τοὺς ποταμοὺς αὐτῶν ἐρήμους καὶ ἀπολῶ τὴν γῆν καὶ τὸ πλήρωμα αὐτῆς ἐν χερσὶν ἀλλοτρίων ἐγὼ κύριος λελάληκα
Et faciam alveos fluminum aridos , et tradam terram in manus pessimorum : et dissipabo terram et plenitudinem ejus manu alienorum : ego Dominus locutus sum .
ወእሬስዮ ፡ ለአፍላጊሆሙ ፡ በድወ ፡ ወእሜጡ ፡ ብሔሮሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ እደ ፡ እኩያን ፡ ወአጠፍኣ ፡ ለምድር ፡ ወለኵሉ ፡ ዘውስቴታ ፡ በእደ ፡ ፀር ። አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ነበብኩ ።
I will make the rivers dry, and will sell the land into the hand of evil men. I will make the land desolate, and all that is therein, by the hand of foreigners. I, Yahweh, have spoken it.”
30:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ כֹּֽה ־אָמַ֞ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֗ה וְהַאֲבַדְתִּ֨י גִלּוּלִ֜ים וְהִשְׁבַּתִּ֤י אֱלִילִים֙ מִנֹּ֔ף וְנָשִׂ֥יא מֵאֶֽרֶץ ־מִצְרַ֖יִם לֹ֣א יִֽהְיֶה ־ע֑וֹד וְנָתַתִּ֥י יִרְאָ֖ה בְּאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם ׃
ὅτι τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος καὶ ἀπολῶ μεγιστᾶνας ἀπὸ Μέμφεως καὶ ἄρχοντας ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου καὶ οὐκ ἔσονται ἔτι
Haec dicit Dominus Deus : Et disperdam simulacra , et cessare faciam idola de Memphis : et dux de terra Aegypti non erit amplius , et dabo terrorem in terra Aegypti .
እስመ ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እግዚእ ፡ ወአጠፍእ ፡ ርኵሶሙ ፡ ወእሥዕር ፡ መኳንንተ ፡ እምነ ፡ ሜምፍ ፡ ወመላእክተ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ኢይሄልዉ ፡ እንከ ። ወእፌኑ ፡ ፍርሃተ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ግብጽ ።
“‘The Lord Yahweh says: “I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause the images to cease from Memphis. There will be no more a prince from the land of Egypt. I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.
30:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַֽהֲשִׁמֹּתִי֙ אֶת ־פַּתְר֔וֹס וְנָתַ֥תִּי אֵ֖שׁ בְּצֹ֑עַן וְעָשִׂ֥יתִי שְׁפָטִ֖ים בְּנֹֽא ׃
καὶ ἀπολῶ γῆν Παθουρης καὶ δώσω πῦρ ἐπὶ Τάνιν καὶ ποιήσω ἐκδίκησιν ἐν Διοσπόλει
Et disperdam terram Phathures , et dabo ignem in Taphnis , et faciam judicia in Alexandria .
ወአጠፍኣ ፡ ለፋቶሪስ ፡ ወእፌኑ ፡ እሳተ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ጣናን ፡ ወእገብር ፡ በቀለ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ዲዮስጶልን ።
I will make Pathros desolate, and will set a fire in Zoan, and will execute judgments on No.
30:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְשָׁפַכְתִּ֣י חֲמָתִ֔י עַל ־סִ֖ין מָע֣וֹז מִצְרָ֑יִם וְהִכְרַתִּ֖י אֶת ־הֲמ֥וֹן נֹֽא ׃
καὶ ἐκχεῶ τὸν θυμόν μου ἐπὶ Σάιν τὴν ἰσχὺν Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἀπολῶ τὸ πλῆθος Μέμφεως
Et effundam indignationem meam super Pelusium , robur Aegypti , et interficiam multitudinem Alexandriae .
ወእክዑ ፡ መዐትየ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ሰይን ፡ ኃይሎሙ ፡ ለግብጽ ፡ ወአኀልቆሙ ፡ ለኵሎሙ ፡ ሜምፍ ።
I will pour my wrath on Sin, the stronghold of Egypt. I will cut off the multitude of No.
30:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְנָתַ֤תִּי אֵשׁ֙ בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם ח֤וּל (תחיל ) [תָּחוּל֙ ] סִ֔ין וְנֹ֖א תִּֽהְיֶ֣ה לְהִבָּקֵ֑עַ וְנֹ֖ף צָרֵ֥י יוֹמָֽם ׃
καὶ δώσω πῦρ ἐπ’ Αἴγυπτον καὶ ταραχὴν ταραχθήσεται Συήνη καὶ ἐν Διοσπόλει ἔσται ἔκρηγμα καὶ διαχυθήσεται ὕδατα
Et dabo ignem in Aegypto : quasi parturiens dolebit Pelusium , et Alexandria erit dissipata , et in Memphis angustiae quotidianae .
ወእፌኑ ፡ እሳተ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ወሁከተ ፡ ትትሀወክ ፡ ሴይስ ፡ ዘሴዋኔ ፡ ወትከውን ፡ በድወ ፡ ሜምፍ ።
I will set a fire in Egypt Sin will be in great anguish. No will be broken up. Memphis will have adversaries in the daytime.
30:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ בַּח֥וּרֵי אָ֛וֶן וּפִי ־בֶ֖סֶת בַּחֶ֣רֶב יִפֹּ֑לוּ וְהֵ֖נָּה בַּשְּׁבִ֥י תֵלַֽכְנָה ׃
νεανίσκοι ἡλίου πόλεως καὶ Βουβάστου ἐν μαχαίρᾳ πεσοῦνται καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες ἐν αἰχμαλωσίᾳ πορεύσονται
Juvenes Heliopoleos et Bubasti gladio cadent , et ipsae captivae ducentur .
ወወራዙተ ፡ ሀገረ ፡ ሔልዩ ፡ ወቡባስሂ ፡ ይወድቁ ፡ በመጥባሕት ፣፡ ወለአንስቶሙኒ ፡ ይፄውውዎን ።
The young men of Aven and of Pibeseth will fall by the sword. They will go into captivity.
30:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבִֽתְחַפְנְחֵס֙ חָשַׂ֣ךְ הַיּ֔וֹם בְּשִׁבְרִי ־שָׁם֙ אֶת ־מֹט֣וֹת מִצְרַ֔יִם וְנִשְׁבַּת ־בָּ֖הּ גְּא֣וֹן עֻזָּ֑הּ הִ֚יא עָנָ֣ן יְכַסֶּ֔נָּה וּבְנוֹתֶ֖יהָ בַּשְּׁבִ֥י תֵלַֽכְנָה ׃
καὶ ἐν Ταφνας συσκοτάσει ἡ ἡμέρα ἐν τῷ συντρῖψαι με ἐκεῖ τὰ σκῆπτρα Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἀπολεῖται ἐκεῖ ἡ ὕβρις τῆς ἰσχύος αὐτῆς καὶ αὐτὴν νεφέλη καλύψει καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες αὐτῆς αἰχμάλωτοι ἀχθήσονται
Et in Taphnis nigrescet dies , cum contrivero ibi sceptra Aegypti , et defecerit in ea superbia potentiae ejus : ipsam nubes operiet , filiae autem ejus in captivitatem ducentur .
ወበጣፍኔስ ፡ ትጸልም ፡ መዓልት ፡ አመ ፡ ቀጥቀጥክዎሙ ፡ በህየ ፡ አሕዛበ ፡ ግብጽ ። ወየኀልቅ ፡ በህየ ፡ ኃሣረ ፡ ኃይላ ፡ ወለዛቲኒ ፡ ይከድና ፡ ደመና ፡ ወይፄውውዎን ፡ ለአዋልዲሃ ።
At Tehaphnehes also the day will withdraw itself, when I break the yokes of Egypt there. The pride of her power will cease in her. As for her, a cloud will cover her, and her daughters will go into captivity.
30:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעָשִׂ֥יתִי שְׁפָטִ֖ים בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי ־אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה ׃ {פ}
καὶ ποιήσω κρίμα ἐν Αἰγύπτῳ καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος
Et judicia faciam in Aegypto : et scient quia ego Dominus .
ወእገብር ፡ ፍትሐ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ግብጽ ፣፡ ወየአምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
Thus I will execute judgments on Egypt. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.”’”
30:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְהִ֗י בְּאַחַ֤ת עֶשְׂרֵה֙ שָׁנָ֔ה בָּרִאשׁ֖וֹן בְּשִׁבְעָ֣ה לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ הָיָ֥ה דְבַר ־יְהֹוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ ἑνδεκάτῳ ἔτει ἐν τῷ πρώτῳ μηνὶ ἑβδόμῃ τοῦ μηνὸς ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων
Et factum est in undecimo anno , in primo mense , in septima mensis : factum est verbum Domini ad me , dicens :
ወኮነ ፡ በዓመት ፡ ዐሥር ፡ ወአሐዱ ፣፡ በቀዳሚ ፡ ወርኅ ፣፡ አመ ፡ ሳብዕ ፡ ሠርቅ ፡ ነበበኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወይቤለኒ ።
In the eleventh year, in the first month, in the seventh day of the month, Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
30:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ בֶּן ־אָדָ֕ם אֶת ־זְר֛וֹעַ פַּרְעֹ֥ה מֶלֶךְ ־מִצְרַ֖יִם שָׁבָ֑רְתִּי וְהִנֵּ֣ה לֹֽא ־חֻ֠בְּשָׁ֠ה לָתֵ֨ת רְפֻא֜וֹת לָשׂ֥וּם חִתּ֛וּל לְחׇבְשָׁ֥הּ לְחׇזְקָ֖הּ לִתְפֹּ֥שׂ בֶּחָֽרֶב ׃ {ס}
υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου τοὺς βραχίονας Φαραω βασιλέως Αἰγύπτου συνέτριψα καὶ ἰδοὺ οὐ κατεδέθη τοῦ δοθῆναι ἴασιν τοῦ δοθῆναι ἐπ’ αὐτὸν μάλαγμα τοῦ δοθῆναι ἰσχὺν ἐπιλαβέσθαι μαχαίρας
Fili hominis , brachium Pharaonis regis Aegypti confregi , et ecce non est obvolutum ut restitueretur ei sanitas , ut ligaretur pannis , et fasciaretur linteolis , ut recepto robore posset tenere gladium .
ወልደ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ ቀጥቀጥክዎ ፡ መዝራዕቶ ፡ ለፈርዖን ፡ ንጉሠ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ወናሁ ፡ ኢፀመምዎ ፡ ሥራየ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይትፈወስ ፡ ወኢቀብእዎ ፡ ሥራየ ፡ ቤት ፡ ከመ ፡ ይርከብ ፡ ኃይለ ፡ በዘያነሥእ ፡ መጥባሕቶ ።
“Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Behold, it has not been bound up, to apply medicines, to put a bandage to bind it, that it may become strong to hold the sword.
30:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ לָכֵ֞ן כֹּה ־אָמַ֣ר ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֗ה הִנְנִי֙ אֶל ־פַּרְעֹ֣ה מֶלֶךְ ־מִצְרַ֔יִם וְשָֽׁבַרְתִּי֙ אֶת ־זְרֹ֣עֹתָ֔יו אֶת ־הַחֲזָקָ֖ה וְאֶת ־הַנִּשְׁבָּ֑רֶת וְהִפַּלְתִּ֥י אֶת ־הַחֶ֖רֶב מִיָּדֽוֹ ׃
διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπὶ Φαραω βασιλέα Αἰγύπτου καὶ συντρίψω τοὺς βραχίονας αὐτοῦ τοὺς ἰσχυροὺς καὶ τοὺς τεταμένους καὶ καταβαλῶ τὴν μάχαιραν αὐτοῦ ἐκ τῆς χειρὸς αὐτοῦ
Propterea haec dicit Dominus Deus : Ecce ego ad Pharaonem regem Aegypti , et comminuam brachium ejus forte , sed confractum : et dejiciam gladium de manu ejus ,
ወበእንተ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እግዚእ ፡ ናሁ ፡ አነ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ፈርፆን ፡ ንጉሠ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ እቀጠቅጥ ፡ መዝራዕተ ፡ ኃይሉ ፡ ለፈርዖን ፡ ንጉሠ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ዝኩ ፡ ግዙፍ ፡ በዘይትቀጠቀጥ ፡ ወአነግፎ ፡ መጥባሕቶ ፡ እምእዴሁ ።
Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: ‘Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong arm, and that which was broken. I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.
30:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַהֲפִצוֹתִ֥י אֶת ־מִצְרַ֖יִם בַּגּוֹיִ֑ם וְזֵרִיתִ֖ם בָּאֲרָצֽוֹת ׃
καὶ διασπερῶ Αἴγυπτον εἰς τὰ ἔθνη καὶ λικμήσω αὐτοὺς εἰς τὰς χώρας
et dispergam Aegyptum in gentibus , et ventilabo eos in terris .
ወእዘርዎሙ ፡ ለግብጽ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ወእነፅሆሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ በሐውርት ።
I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
30:24 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְחִזַּקְתִּ֗י אֶת ־זְרֹעוֹת֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ בָּבֶ֔ל וְנָתַתִּ֥י אֶת ־חַרְבִּ֖י בְּיָד֑וֹ וְשָֽׁבַרְתִּי֙ אֶת ־זְרֹע֣וֹת פַּרְעֹ֔ה וְנָאַ֛ק נַאֲק֥וֹת חָלָ֖ל לְפָנָֽיו ׃
καὶ κατισχύσω τοὺς βραχίονας βασιλέως Βαβυλῶνος καὶ δώσω τὴν ῥομφαίαν μου εἰς τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπάξει αὐτὴν ἐπ’ Αἴγυπτον καὶ προνομεύσει τὴν προνομὴν αὐτῆς καὶ σκυλεύσει τὰ σκῦλα αὐτῆς
Et confortabo brachia regis Babylonis , daboque gladium meum in manu ejus , et confringam brachia Pharaonis , et gement gemitibus interfecti coram facie ejus .
ወአጸንዕ ፡ መዝራዕቶ ፡ ለንጉሠ ፡ ባቢሎን ፡ ወእሜጥዎ ፡ ኲናትየ ፡ ውስተ ፡ እዴሁ ፡ ወይደረብያ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ወይመሀርክ ፡ ምህርካሃ ፡ ወይሰልብ ፡ ሰሊባ ።
I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand; but I will break the arms of Pharaoh, and he will groan before the king of Babylon with the groaning of a mortally wounded man.
30:25 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהַחֲזַקְתִּ֗י אֶת ־זְרֹעוֹת֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ בָּבֶ֔ל וּזְרֹע֥וֹת פַּרְעֹ֖ה תִּפֹּ֑לְנָה וְֽיָדְע֞וּ כִּי ־אֲנִ֣י יְהֹוָ֗ה בְּתִתִּ֤י חַרְבִּי֙ בְּיַ֣ד מֶֽלֶךְ ־בָּבֶ֔ל וְנָטָ֥ה אוֹתָ֖הּ אֶל ־אֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם ׃
καὶ ἐνισχύσω τοὺς βραχίονας βασιλέως Βαβυλῶνος οἱ δὲ βραχίονες Φαραω πεσοῦνται καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ἐν τῷ δοῦναι τὴν ῥομφαίαν μου εἰς χεῖρας βασιλέως Βαβυλῶνος καὶ ἐκτενεῖ αὐτὴν ἐπὶ γῆν Αἰγύπτου
Et confortabo brachia regis Babylonis , et brachia Pharaonis concident : et scient quia ego Dominus , cum dedero gladium meum in manu regis Babylonis , et extenderit eum super terram Aegypti .
ወአጸንዕ ፡ መዝራዕቶ ፡ ለንጉሠ ፡ ባቢሎን ፣፡ ወይወድቅ ፡ መዝራዕቱ ፡ ለፈርዖን ። ወየአምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አመ ፡ መጠውክዎ ፡ ኲናትየ ፡ ለንጉሠ ፡ ባቢሎን ፡ ወያነሥኣ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ግብጽ ።
I will hold up the arms of the king of Babylon, but the arms of Pharaoh will fall down. Then they will know that I am Yahweh when I put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he stretches it out on the land of Egypt.
30:26 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַהֲפִצוֹתִ֤י אֶת ־מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ בַּגּוֹיִ֔ם וְזֵרִיתִ֥י אוֹתָ֖ם בָּאֲרָצ֑וֹת וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי ־אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה ׃ {פ}

ወእዘርዎሙ ፡ ለግብጽ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ወእነፅኆሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ በሐውርት ፣፡ ወየአምሩ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations and disperse them through the countries. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.’”
