31:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְהִ֗י בְּאַחַ֤ת עֶשְׂרֵה֙ שָׁנָ֔ה בַּשְּׁלִישִׁ֖י בְּאֶחָ֣ד לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ הָיָ֥ה דְבַר ־יְהֹוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ ἑνδεκάτῳ ἔτει ἐν τῷ τρίτῳ μηνὶ μιᾷ τοῦ μηνὸς ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων
Et factum est in anno undecimo , tertio mense , una mensis : factum est verbum Domini ad me , dicens :
ወአመ ፡ ፲ወ፩ ፡ ዓመት ፡ በሣልስ ፡ ወርኅ ፣፡ አመ ፡ ርእሰ ፡ ሠርቀ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ ነበበኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወይቤለኒ ።
In the eleventh year, in the third month, in the first day of the month, Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
31:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ בֶּן ־אָדָ֕ם אֱמֹ֛ר אֶל ־פַּרְעֹ֥ה מֶלֶךְ ־מִצְרַ֖יִם וְאֶל ־הֲמוֹנ֑וֹ אֶל ־מִ֖י דָּמִ֥יתָ בְגׇדְלֶֽךָ ׃
υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου εἰπὸν πρὸς Φαραω βασιλέα Αἰγύπτου καὶ τῷ πλήθει αὐτοῦ τίνι ὡμοίωσας σεαυτὸν ἐν τῷ ὕψει σου
Fili hominis , dic Pharaoni regi Aegypti et populo ejus : Cui similis factus es in magnitudine tua ?
ወልደ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ በሎ ፡ ለፈርዖን ፡ ንጉሠ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ወለብዝኁ ፡ መነ ፡ ትትሜሰል ፡ በኑኅከ ።
“Son of man, tell Pharaoh king of Egypt and his multitude: ‘Whom are you like in your greatness?
31:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ הִנֵּ֨ה אַשּׁ֜וּר אֶ֣רֶז בַּלְּבָנ֗וֹן יְפֵ֥ה עָנָ֛ף וְחֹ֥רֶשׁ מֵצַ֖ל וּגְבַ֣הּ קוֹמָ֑ה וּבֵ֣ין עֲבֹתִ֔ים הָיְתָ֖ה צַמַּרְתּֽוֹ ׃
ἰδοὺ Ασσουρ κυπάρισσος ἐν τῷ Λιβάνῳ καὶ καλὸς ταῖς παραφυάσιν καὶ ὑψηλὸς τῷ μεγέθει εἰς μέσον νεφελῶν ἐγένετο ἡ ἀρχὴ αὐτοῦ
ecce Assur quasi cedrus in Libano , pulcher ramis , et frondibus nemorosus , excelsusque altitudine , et inter condensas frondes elevatum est cacumen ejus .
ናሁ ፡ አሶር ፡ አርዝ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ሊባኖስ ፡ ወሠናይ ፡ ሠርፁ ፡ ወጽፉቅ ፡ ቈጽሉ ፡ ወነዊኅ ፡ ቆሙ ፣፡ ወይበጽሕ ፡ ደመናተ ፡ ርእሱ ።
Behold, the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon with beautiful branches, and with a forest-like shade, of high stature; and its top was among the thick boughs.
31:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ מַ֣יִם גִּדְּל֔וּהוּ תְּה֖וֹם רֹמְמָ֑תְהוּ אֶת ־נַהֲרֹתֶ֗יהָ הֹלֵךְ֙ סְבִיב֣וֹת מַטָּעָ֔הּ וְאֶת ־תְּעָלֹתֶ֣יהָ שִׁלְחָ֔ה אֶ֖ל כׇּל ־עֲצֵ֥י הַשָּׂדֶֽה ׃
ὕδωρ ἐξέθρεψεν αὐτόν ἡ ἄβυσσος ὕψωσεν αὐτόν τοὺς ποταμοὺς αὐτῆς ἤγαγεν κύκλῳ τῶν φυτῶν αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ συστέματα αὐτῆς ἐξαπέστειλεν εἰς πάντα τὰ ξύλα τοῦ πεδίου
Aquae nutrierunt illum ; abyssus exaltavit illum : flumina ejus manabant in circuitu radicum ejus , et rivos suos emisit ad universa ligna regionis .
ማይ ፡ ሐፀኖ ፡ ወቀላይ ፡ አልሀቆ ፡ ወአፍላግ ፡ የሐውሩ ፡ ዐውደ ፡ ተክሉ ፡ ወፈነወት ፡ ወኃይዝቲሃ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዕፀወ ፡ ገዳም ።
The waters nourished it. The deep made it to grow. Its rivers ran all around its plantation. It sent out its channels to all the trees of the field.
31:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ עַל ־כֵּן֙ גָּבְהָ֣א קֹמָת֔וֹ מִכֹּ֖ל עֲצֵ֣י הַשָּׂדֶ֑ה וַתִּרְבֶּ֨ינָה סַֽרְעַפֹּתָ֜יו וַתֶּאֱרַ֧כְנָה פֹארֹתָ֛ו מִמַּ֥יִם רַבִּ֖ים בְּשַׁלְּחֽוֹ ׃
ἕνεκεν τούτου ὑψώθη τὸ μέγεθος αὐτοῦ παρὰ πάντα τὰ ξύλα τοῦ πεδίου καὶ ἐπλατύνθησαν οἱ κλάδοι αὐτοῦ ἀφ’ ὕδατος πολλοῦ
Propterea elevata est altitudo ejus super omnia ligna regionis , et multiplicata sunt arbusta ejus , et elevati sunt rami ejus prae aquis multis .
ወበበይነ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ተለዐለ ፡ ቆሙ ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ ዕፀወ ፡ ገዳም ፡ ወበዝኁ ፡ አዕጹቂሁ ፡ ወኖኀ ፡ ሠርፁ ፡ ዘተሰፍሐ ፡ እምብዝኀ ፡ ማይ ።
Therefore its stature was exalted above all the trees of the field; and its boughs were multiplied. Its branches became long by reason of many waters, when it spread them out.
31:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ בִּסְעַפֹּתָ֤יו קִֽנְנוּ֙ כׇּל ־ע֣וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם וְתַ֤חַת פֹּֽארֹתָיו֙ יָֽלְד֔וּ כֹּ֖ל חַיַּ֣ת הַשָּׂדֶ֑ה וּבְצִלּוֹ֙ יֵֽשְׁב֔וּ כֹּ֖ל גּוֹיִ֥ם רַבִּֽים ׃
ἐν ταῖς παραφυάσιν αὐτοῦ ἐνόσσευσαν πάντα τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ ὑποκάτω τῶν κλάδων αὐτοῦ ἐγεννῶσαν πάντα τὰ θηρία τοῦ πεδίου ἐν τῇ σκιᾷ αὐτοῦ κατῴκησεν πᾶν πλῆθος ἐθνῶν
Cumque extendisset umbram suam , in ramis ejus fecerunt nidos omnia volatilia caeli : et sub frondibus ejus genuerunt omnes bestiae saltuum , et sub umbraculo illius habitabat coetus gentium plurimarum .
ወውስተ ፡ አዕጹቂሁ ፡ ተዋለዳ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ አዕዋፈ ፡ ሰማይ ፡ ወበታሕቴሁ ፡ ተዋለዳ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ አርዌ ፡ ገዳም ፡ ወነበሩ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ታሕተ ፡ ጽላሎቱ ።
All the birds of the sky made their nests in its boughs. Under its branches, all the animals of the field gave birth to their young. All great nations lived under its shadow.
31:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְּיִ֣ף בְּגׇדְל֔וֹ בְּאֹ֖רֶךְ דָּלִיּוֹתָ֑יו כִּֽי ־הָיָ֥ה שׇׁרְשׁ֖וֹ אֶל ־מַ֥יִם רַבִּֽים ׃
καὶ ἐγένετο καλὸς ἐν τῷ ὕψει αὐτοῦ διὰ τὸ πλῆθος τῶν κλάδων αὐτοῦ ὅτι ἐγενήθησαν αἱ ῥίζαι αὐτοῦ εἰς ὕδωρ πολύ
Eratque pulcherrimus in magnitudine sua , et in dilatatione arbustorum suorum : erat enim radix illius juxta aquas multas .
ወኮነ ፡ ላህየ ፡ ቆሙ ፡ እምብዝኀ ፡ አዕጹቂሁ ፡ እስመ ፡ በቈለ ፡ ሥረዊሁ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ማይ ፡ ብዙኅ ።
Thus it was beautiful in its greatness, in the length of its branches; for its root was by many waters.
31:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֲרָזִ֣ים לֹֽא ־עֲמָמֻ֘הוּ֮ בְּגַן ־אֱלֹהִים֒ בְּרוֹשִׁ֗ים לֹ֤א דָמוּ֙ אֶל ־סְעַפֹּתָ֔יו וְעַרְמֹנִ֥ים לֹא ־הָי֖וּ כְּפֹרֹאתָ֑יו כׇּל ־עֵץ֙ בְּגַן ־אֱלֹהִ֔ים לֹא ־דָמָ֥ה אֵלָ֖יו בְּיׇפְיֽוֹ ׃
κυπάρισσοι τοιαῦται οὐκ ἐγενήθησαν ἐν τῷ παραδείσῳ τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ πίτυες οὐχ ὅμοιαι ταῖς παραφυάσιν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐλάται οὐκ ἐγένοντο ὅμοιαι τοῖς κλάδοις αὐτοῦ πᾶν ξύλον ἐν τῷ παραδείσῳ τοῦ θεοῦ οὐχ ὡμοιώθη αὐτῷ ἐν τῷ κάλλει αὐτοῦ
Cedri non fuerunt altiores illo in paradiso Dei ; abietes non adaequaverunt summitatem ejus , et platani non fuerunt aequae frondibus illius : omne lignum paradisi Dei non est assimilatum illi , et pulchritudini ejus .
ወኢይትዔረዮ ፡ ዕፀ ፡ ቄጵርስስ ፡ ዘውስተ ፡ ገነተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወዕፀ ፡ ጴጥሮስ ፡ ዘአልቦ ፡ ዘይመስሎ ፡ አዕጹቂሁ ፡ ወኢላጤ ፡ ኢይከውን ፡ ከመ ፡ ሠርፁ ። ኵሉ ፡ ዕፅ ፡ ዘውስተ ፡ ገነተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ኢይመስሎ ፡ ለሥኑ ።
The cedars in the garden of God could not hide it. The cypress trees were not like its branches. The pine trees were not like its branches; nor was any tree in the garden of God like it in its beauty.
31:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ יָפֶ֣ה עֲשִׂיתִ֔יו בְּרֹ֖ב דָּלִיּוֹתָ֑יו וַיְקַנְאֻ֙הוּ֙ כׇּל ־עֲצֵי ־עֵ֔דֶן אֲשֶׁ֖ר בְּגַ֥ן הָאֱלֹהִֽים ׃ {פ}
διὰ τὸ πλῆθος τῶν κλάδων αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐζήλωσεν αὐτὸν τὰ ξύλα τοῦ παραδείσου τῆς τρυφῆς τοῦ θεοῦ
Quoniam speciosum feci eum , et multis condensisque frondibus , et aemulata sunt eum omnia ligna voluptatis quae erant in paradiso Dei .
እምብዝኅ ፡ ሠርፁ ። ወቀንኡ ፡ ዲቤሁ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዕፀ ፡ ገነተ ፡ ትፍሥሕት ፡ ዘእግዚአብሔር ።
I made it beautiful by the multitude of its branches, so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied it.’
31:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה יַ֕עַן אֲשֶׁ֥ר גָּבַ֖הְתָּ בְּקוֹמָ֑ה וַיִּתֵּ֤ן צַמַּרְתּוֹ֙ אֶל ־בֵּ֣ין עֲבוֹתִ֔ים וְרָ֥ם לְבָב֖וֹ בְּגׇבְהֽוֹ ׃
διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀνθ’ ὧν ἐγένου μέγας τῷ μεγέθει καὶ ἔδωκας τὴν ἀρχήν σου εἰς μέσον νεφελῶν καὶ εἶδον ἐν τῷ ὑψωθῆναι αὐτόν
Propterea haec dicit Dominus Deus : Pro eo quod sublimatus est in altitudine , et dedit summitatem suam virentem atque condensam , et elevatum est cor ejus in altitudine sua :
በበይነ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እግዚእ ፡ እስመ ፡ ኖኅ ፡ ቆምከ ፡ ወበጽሐ ፡ ርእስከ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ ደመናት ፡ ወርኢኩ ፡ ትዕቢቶ ።
“Therefore thus said the Lord Yahweh: ‘Because he is exalted in stature, and he has set his top among the thick branches, and his heart is lifted up in his height,
31:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֶ֨תְּנֵ֔הוּ בְּיַ֖ד אֵ֣יל גּוֹיִ֑ם עָשׂ֤וֹ יַֽעֲשֶׂה֙ ל֔וֹ כְּרִשְׁע֖וֹ גֵּרַשְׁתִּֽהוּ ׃
καὶ παρέδωκα αὐτὸν εἰς χεῖρας ἄρχοντος ἐθνῶν καὶ ἐποίησεν τὴν ἀπώλειαν αὐτοῦ
tradidi eum in manu fortissimi gentium : faciens faciet ei : juxta impietatem ejus ejeci eum .
ወመጠውክዎ ፡ ውስተ ፡ እደ ፡ መልአከ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ወቀተሎ ።
I will deliver him into the hand of the mighty one of the nations. He will surely deal with him. I have driven him out for his wickedness.
31:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּכְרְתֻ֧הוּ זָרִ֛ים עָרִיצֵ֥י גוֹיִ֖ם וַֽיִּטְּשֻׁ֑הוּ אֶל ־הֶ֠הָרִ֠ים וּבְכׇל ־גֵּ֨אָי֜וֹת נָפְל֣וּ דָלִיּוֹתָ֗יו וַתִּשָּׁבַ֤רְנָה פֹֽרֹאתָיו֙ בְּכֹל֙ אֲפִיקֵ֣י הָאָ֔רֶץ וַיֵּרְד֧וּ מִצִּלּ֛וֹ כׇּל ־עַמֵּ֥י הָאָ֖רֶץ וַֽיִּטְּשֻֽׁהוּ ׃
καὶ ἐξωλέθρευσαν αὐτὸν ἀλλότριοι λοιμοὶ ἀπὸ ἐθνῶν καὶ κατέβαλον αὐτὸν ἐπὶ τῶν ὀρέων ἐν πάσαις ταῖς φάραγξιν ἔπεσαν οἱ κλάδοι αὐτοῦ καὶ συνετρίβη τὰ στελέχη αὐτοῦ ἐν παντὶ πεδίῳ τῆς γῆς καὶ κατέβησαν ἀπὸ τῆς σκέπης αὐτῶν πάντες οἱ λαοὶ τῶν ἐθνῶν καὶ ἠδάφισαν αὐτόν
Et succident eum alieni , et crudelissimi nationum , et projicient eum super montes : et in cunctis convallibus corruent rami ejus , et confringentur arbusta ejus in universis rupibus terrae : et recedent de umbraculo ejus omnes populi terrae , et relinquent eum .
ወሠረውዎ ፡ ፀር ፡ እኩያን ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ወነፅኅዎ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አድባር ፡ ወወድቁ ፡ አዕጹቂሁ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ቈላት ፡ ወተቀጥቀጠ ፡ ዕፀዊሁ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ገዳም ፡ ወወረዱ ፡ እምጽላሎቱ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ ሠራዊተ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ወገፍትዕዎ ።
Foreigners, the tyrants of the nations, have cut him off and have left him. His branches have fallen on the mountains and in all the valleys, and his boughs are broken by all the watercourses of the land. All the peoples of the earth have gone down from his shadow and have left him.
31:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ עַל ־מַפַּלְתּ֥וֹ יִשְׁכְּנ֖וּ כׇּל ־ע֣וֹף הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם וְאֶל ־פֹּרֹאתָ֣יו הָי֔וּ כֹּ֖ל חַיַּ֥ת הַשָּׂדֶֽה ׃
ἐπὶ τὴν πτῶσιν αὐτοῦ ἀνεπαύσαντο πάντα τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ τὰ στελέχη αὐτοῦ ἐγένοντο πάντα τὰ θηρία τοῦ ἀγροῦ
In ruina ejus habitaverunt omnia volatilia caeli , et in ramis ejus fuerunt universae bestiae regionis .
ይኅድሩ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ አዕዋፈ ፡ ሰማይ ፡ በድቀቱ ፣፡ ወመጽኡ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ አራዊተ ፡ ገዳም ፡ ውስተ ፡ ጕንዱ ።
All the birds of the sky will dwell on his ruin, and all the animals of the field will be on his branches,
31:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ לְמַ֡עַן אֲשֶׁר֩ לֹא ־יִגְבְּה֨וּ בְקוֹמָתָ֜ם כׇּל ־עֲצֵי ־מַ֗יִם וְלֹֽא ־יִתְּנ֤וּ אֶת ־צַמַּרְתָּם֙ אֶל ־בֵּ֣ין עֲבֹתִ֔ים וְלֹֽא ־יַעַמְד֧וּ אֵלֵיהֶ֛ם בְּגׇבְהָ֖ם כׇּל ־שֹׁ֣תֵי מָ֑יִם כִּֽי ־כֻלָּם֩ נִתְּנ֨וּ לַמָּ֜וֶת אֶל ־אֶ֣רֶץ תַּחְתִּ֗ית בְּת֛וֹךְ בְּנֵ֥י אָדָ֖ם אֶל ־י֥וֹרְדֵי בֽוֹר ׃ {פ}
ὅπως μὴ ὑψωθῶσιν ἐν τῷ μεγέθει αὐτῶν πάντα τὰ ξύλα τὰ ἐν τῷ ὕδατι καὶ οὐκ ἔδωκαν τὴν ἀρχὴν αὐτῶν εἰς μέσον νεφελῶν καὶ οὐκ ἔστησαν ἐν τῷ ὕψει αὐτῶν πρὸς αὐτὰ πάντες οἱ πίνοντες ὕδωρ πάντες ἐδόθησαν εἰς θάνατον εἰς γῆς βάθος ἐν μέσῳ υἱῶν ἀνθρώπων πρὸς καταβαίνοντας εἰς βόθρον
Quam ob rem non elevabuntur in altitudine sua omnia ligna aquarum , nec ponent sublimitatem suam inter nemorosa atque frondosa , nec stabunt in sublimitate sua omnia quae irrigantur aquis : quia omnes traditi sunt in mortem ad terram ultimam , in medio filiorum hominum , ad eos qui descendunt in lacum .
ከመ ፡ ኢይኑኅ ፡ ቆሙ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ዕፀው ፡ በኀበ ፡ ማይ ፣፡ ወኢይብጻሕ ፡ ርእሱ ፡ እስከ ፡ ደመናት ፡ ወኢይቁሙ ፡ በኑኆሙ ፡ ምስሌሆሙ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይሰትይዎ ፡ ለውእቱ ፡ ማይ ። ወኵሎሙ ፡ ሞቱ ፡ በምድር ፡ ዕሙቅ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ እለ ፡ ይወርዱ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ግብ ።
to the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves in their stature, and don’t set their top among the thick boughs. Their mighty ones don’t stand up on their height, even all who drink water; for they are all delivered to death, to the lower parts of the earth, among the children of men, with those who go down to the pit.’
31:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ כֹּֽה ־אָמַ֞ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֗ה בְּי֨וֹם רִדְתּ֤וֹ שְׁא֙וֹלָה֙ הֶאֱבַ֜לְתִּי כִּסֵּ֤תִי עָלָיו֙ אֶת ־תְּה֔וֹם וָֽאֶמְנַע֙ נַהֲרוֹתֶ֔יהָ וַיִּכָּלְא֖וּ מַ֣יִם רַבִּ֑ים וָאַקְדִּ֤ר עָלָיו֙ לְבָנ֔וֹן וְכׇל ־עֲצֵ֥י הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה עָלָ֥יו עֻלְפֶּֽה ׃
τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ἐν ᾗ ἡμέρᾳ κατέβη εἰς ᾅδου ἐπένθησεν αὐτὸν ἡ ἄβυσσος καὶ ἐπέστησα τοὺς ποταμοὺς αὐτῆς καὶ ἐκώλυσα πλῆθος ὕδατος καὶ ἐσκότασεν ἐπ’ αὐτὸν ὁ Λίβανος πάντα τὰ ξύλα τοῦ πεδίου ἐπ’ αὐτῷ ἐξελύθησαν
Haec dicit Dominus Deus : In die quando descendit ad inferos , induxi luctum : operui eum abysso , et prohibui flumina ejus , et coërcui aquas multas : contristatus est super eum Libanus , et omnia ligna agri concussa sunt .
ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በዕለተ ፡ ወረደ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሲኦል ፡ አልሐውክዋ ፡ ለቀላይ ፣፡ ወከደንክዋ ፡ ቀላየ ፡ ወአቀምኩ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ማየ ፡ ወአጸልም ፡ ዲቤሁ ፡ ሊባኖስ ፡ ወድቀ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዕፀወ ፡ ገዳም ፡ ላዕሌሁ ።
“The Lord Yahweh says: ‘In the day when he went down to Sheol, I caused a mourning. I covered the deep for him, and I restrained its rivers. The great waters were stopped. I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.
31:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ מִקּ֤וֹל מַפַּלְתּוֹ֙ הִרְעַ֣שְׁתִּי גוֹיִ֔ם בְּהוֹרִדִ֥י אֹת֛וֹ שְׁא֖וֹלָה אֶת ־י֣וֹרְדֵי ב֑וֹר וַיִּנָּ֨חֲמ֜וּ בְּאֶ֤רֶץ תַּחְתִּית֙ כׇּל ־עֲצֵי ־עֵ֔דֶן מִבְחַ֥ר וְטוֹב ־לְבָנ֖וֹן כׇּל ־שֹׁ֥תֵי מָֽיִם ׃
ἀπὸ τῆς φωνῆς τῆς πτώσεως αὐτοῦ ἐσείσθησαν τὰ ἔθνη ὅτε κατεβίβαζον αὐτὸν εἰς ᾅδου μετὰ τῶν καταβαινόντων εἰς λάκκον καὶ παρεκάλουν αὐτὸν ἐν γῇ πάντα τὰ ξύλα τῆς τρυφῆς καὶ τὰ ἐκλεκτὰ τοῦ Λιβάνου πάντα τὰ πίνοντα ὕδωρ
A sonitu ruinae ejus commovi gentes cum deducerem eum ad infernum cum his qui descendebant in lacum : et consolata sunt in terra infima omnia ligna voluptatis egregia atque praeclara in Libano , universa quae irrigabantur aquis .
ወእምድምፀ ፡ ድቀቱ ፡ አንቀልቀሉ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ወአጽደፍዎ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሲኦል ፡ ምስለ ፡ እለ ፡ ይወርዱ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ግብ ፡ ወገሠጽዎ ፡ በታሕተ ፡ ምድር ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዕፀ ፡ ትፍሥሕተ ፡ ወኅሩያነ ፡ ሊባኖስ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘይሰቀይ ፡ ማየ ።
I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to Sheol with those who descend into the pit. All the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, were comforted in the lower parts of the earth.
31:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ גַּם ־הֵ֗ם אִתּ֛וֹ יָרְד֥וּ שְׁא֖וֹלָה אֶל ־חַלְלֵי ־חָ֑רֶב וּזְרֹע֛וֹ יָשְׁב֥וּ בְצִלּ֖וֹ בְּת֥וֹךְ גּוֹיִֽם ׃
καὶ γὰρ αὐτοὶ κατέβησαν μετ’ αὐτοῦ εἰς ᾅδου ἐν τοῖς τραυματίαις ἀπὸ μαχαίρας καὶ τὸ σπέρμα αὐτοῦ οἱ κατοικοῦντες ὑπὸ τὴν σκέπην αὐτοῦ ἐν μέσῳ τῆς ζωῆς αὐτῶν ἀπώλοντο
Nam et ipsi cum eo descendent in infernum ad interfectos gladio : et brachium uniuscujusque sedebit sub umbraculo ejus in medio nationum .
እስመ ፡ እሙንቱኒ ፡ ወረዱ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሲዖል ፡ ምስሌሁ ፡ ቅቱላነ ፡ በኲናት ፡ ወዘርኡሂ ፡ እለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ታሕተ ፡ ጽላሎቱ ፡ ተሐጕሉ ፡ በማእከለ ፡ አሕዛብ ።
They also went down into Sheol with him to those who are slain by the sword; yes, those who were his arm, who lived under his shadow in the middle of the nations.
31:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֶל ־מִ֨י דָמִ֥יתָ כָּ֛כָה בְּכָב֥וֹד וּבְגֹ֖דֶל בַּעֲצֵי ־עֵ֑דֶן וְהוּרַדְתָּ֨ אֶת ־עֲצֵי ־עֵ֜דֶן אֶל ־אֶ֣רֶץ תַּחְתִּ֗ית בְּת֨וֹךְ עֲרֵלִ֤ים תִּשְׁכַּב֙ אֶת ־חַלְלֵי ־חֶ֔רֶב ה֤וּא פַרְעֹה֙ וְכׇל ־הֲמוֹנֹ֔ה נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה ׃ {פ}
τίνι ὡμοιώθης κατάβηθι καὶ καταβιβάσθητι μετὰ τῶν ξύλων τῆς τρυφῆς εἰς γῆς βάθος ἐν μέσῳ ἀπεριτμήτων κοιμηθήσῃ μετὰ τραυματιῶν μαχαίρας οὕτως Φαραω καὶ τὸ πλῆθος τῆς ἰσχύος αὐτοῦ λέγει κύριος κύριος
Cui assimilatus es , o inclyte atque sublimis inter ligna voluptatis ? ecce deductus es cum lignis voluptatis ad terram ultimam : in medio incircumcisorum dormies , cum eis qui interfecti sunt gladio : ipse est Pharao , et omnis multitudo ejus , dicit Dominus Deus .
መነ ፡ ትመስል ፡ በክብር ፡ ወበዕበይ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ዕፀወ ፡ ገነተ ፡ ትፍሥሕት ፡ ረድ ፡ ወተወጣሕ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ዕፀወ ፡ ትፍግዕት ፡ በውስተ ፡ ምድር ፡ ታሕቲት ፡ ወትሰክብ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ ቈላፋን ፡ እለ ፡ ቅቱላን ፡ በኲናት ። ከማሁኬ ፡ ፈርዖን ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ብዝኅ ፡ ኃይሉ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እግዚእ ።
“‘To whom are you thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? Yet you will be brought down with the trees of Eden to the lower parts of the earth. You will lie in the middle of the uncircumcised, with those who are slain by the sword. “‘This is Pharaoh and all his multitude,’ says the Lord Yahweh.”
