7:1
וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהֹוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃
καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων
Et factus est sermo Domini ad me, dicens :
ወነበበኒ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወይቤለኒ።
Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
7:2
וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן־אָדָ֗ם כֹּֽה־אָמַ֞ר אֲדֹנָ֧י יֱהֹוִ֛ה לְאַדְמַ֥ת יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל קֵ֑ץ בָּ֣א הַקֵּ֔ץ עַל־[אַרְבַּ֖ע] (ארבעת) כַּנְפ֥וֹת הָאָֽרֶץ׃
καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου εἰπόν τάδε λέγει κύριος τῇ γῇ τοῦ Ισραηλ πέρας ἥκει τὸ πέρας ἥκει ἐπὶ τὰς τέσσαρας πτέρυγας τῆς γῆς
Et tu, fili hominis, haec dicit Dominus Deus terrae Israël : Finis venit : venit finis super quatuor plagas terrae.
አንተ፡ ወልደ፡ እጓለ፡ እመሕያው፡ ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አዶናይ፡ ለምድረ፡ እስራኤል፡ ናሁ፡ በጽሐ፡ ዕድሜ፡ ወኀለፈ፡ ለ፬፡ አጽናፈ፡ ምድር።
“You, son of man, the Lord Yahweh says to the land of Israel, ‘An end! The end has come on the four corners of the land.
7:3
עַתָּה֙ הַקֵּ֣ץ עָלַ֔יִךְ וְשִׁלַּחְתִּ֤י אַפִּי֙ בָּ֔ךְ וּשְׁפַטְתִּ֖יךְ כִּדְרָכָ֑יִךְ וְנָתַתִּ֣י עָלַ֔יִךְ אֵ֖ת כׇּל־תּוֹעֲבוֹתָֽיִךְ׃
ἥκει τὸ πέρας
Nunc finis super te, et immittam furorem meum in te : et judicabo te juxta vias tuas, et ponam contra te omnes abominationes tuas.
ወጽሐ፡ ዕድሜ፡ ወዐደወ፡ ኀቤኪ፡ ወእፌኑ፡ መዐትየ፡ ላዕሌኪ፡ አነ፡ ወእትቤቀለኪ፡ በፍኖትኪ፣፡ ወአገብእ፡ ዲቤኪ፡ ኵሎ፡ ኃሣረኪ።
Now the end is on you, and I will send my anger on you, and will judge you according to your ways. I will bring on you all your abominations.
7:4
וְלֹא־תָח֥וֹס עֵינִ֛י עָלַ֖יִךְ וְלֹ֣א אֶחְמ֑וֹל כִּ֣י דְרָכַ֜יִךְ עָלַ֣יִךְ אֶתֵּ֗ן וְתוֹעֲבוֹתַ֙יִךְ֙ בְּתוֹכֵ֣ךְ תִּֽהְיֶ֔יןָ וִידַעְתֶּ֖ם כִּי־אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה׃ {פ}
ἐπὶ σὲ τὸν κατοικοῦντα τὴν γῆν ἥκει ὁ καιρός ἤγγικεν ἡ ἡμέρα οὐ μετὰ θορύβων οὐδὲ μετὰ ὠδίνων
Et non parcet oculus meus super te, et non miserebor : sed vias tuas ponam super te, et abominationes tuae in medio tui erunt, et scietis quia ego Dominus.
ወዐይንየ፡ ኢትምሕከኪ፡ ወኢይሠሀለኪ፡ ወአገብእ፡ ላዕሌኪ፡ ፍኖተኪ፡ ወርኵስኪ፡ ይከውን፡ በማእከሌኪ፡ ወተአምሪ፡ ከመ፡ አነ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
My eye will not spare you, neither will I have pity; but I will bring your ways on you, and your abominations will be among you. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.’
7:5
כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֑ה רָעָ֛ה אַחַ֥ת רָעָ֖ה הִנֵּ֥ה בָאָֽה׃
νῦν ἐγγύθεν ἐκχεῶ τὴν ὀργήν μου ἐπὶ σὲ καὶ συντελέσω τὸν θυμόν μου ἐν σοὶ καὶ κρινῶ σε ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς σου καὶ δώσω ἐπὶ σὲ πάντα τὰ βδελύγματά σου
Haec dicit Dominus Deus : Afflictio una, afflictio ecce venit.
ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ አዶናይ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እኪት፡ አሐቲ፣፡ እኪት፡ በጽሐት።
“The Lord Yahweh says: ‘A disaster! A unique disaster! Behold, it comes.
7:6
קֵ֣ץ בָּ֔א בָּ֥א הַקֵּ֖ץ הֵקִ֣יץ אֵלָ֑יִךְ הִנֵּ֖ה בָּאָֽה׃
οὐ φείσεται ὁ ὀφθαλμός μου οὐδὲ μὴ ἐλεήσω διότι τὰς ὁδούς σου ἐπὶ σὲ δώσω καὶ τὰ βδελύγματά σου ἐν μέσῳ σου ἔσονται καὶ ἐπιγνώσῃ διότι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ τύπτων
Finis venit, venit finis : evigilavit adversum te, ecce venit.
ወበጽሐ፡ ዕድሜሃ፡ ኀቤኪ፡ ወተንሥአት፡ ወናሁ፡ መጽአት።
An end has come. The end has come! It awakes against you. Behold, it comes.
7:7
בָּ֧אָה הַצְּפִירָ֛ה אֵלֶ֖יךָ יוֹשֵׁ֣ב הָאָ֑רֶץ בָּ֣א הָעֵ֗ת קָר֛וֹב הַיּ֥וֹם מְהוּמָ֖ה וְלֹא־הֵ֥ד הָרִֽים׃
νῦν τὸ πέρας πρὸς σέ καὶ ἀποστελῶ ἐγὼ ἐπὶ σὲ καὶ ἐκδικήσω σε ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς σου καὶ δώσω ἐπὶ σὲ πάντα τὰ βδελύγματά σου
Venit contritio super te, qui habitas in terra : venit tempus, prope est dies occisionis, et non gloriae montium.
ወተፀፍረት፡ ላዕለ፡ ዘትነብር፡ ውስተ፡ ምድር፡ ወበጽሐ፡ ዕድሜሃ፡ ወቀርበ፡ ዕለቱ፣፡ አኮ፡ በሁከት፡ ወአኮ፡ በሕማም።
Your doom has come to you, inhabitant of the land! The time has come! The day is near, a day of tumult, and not of joyful shouting, on the mountains.
7:8
עַתָּ֣ה מִקָּר֗וֹב אֶשְׁפּ֤וֹךְ חֲמָתִי֙ עָלַ֔יִךְ וְכִלֵּיתִ֤י אַפִּי֙ בָּ֔ךְ וּשְׁפַטְתִּ֖יךְ כִּדְרָכָ֑יִךְ וְנָתַתִּ֣י עָלַ֔יִךְ אֵ֖ת כׇּל־תּוֹעֲבוֹתָֽיִךְ׃
οὐ φείσεται ὁ ὀφθαλμός μου ἐπὶ σέ οὐδὲ μὴ ἐλεήσω διότι τὴν ὁδόν σου ἐπὶ σὲ δώσω καὶ τὰ βδελύγματά σου ἐν μέσῳ σου ἔσται καὶ ἐπιγνώσῃ διότι ἐγὼ κύριος
Nunc de propinquo effundam iram meam super te, et complebo furorem meum in te : et judicabo te juxta vias tuas, et imponam tibi omnia scelera tua,
አልጸቀ፡ ይእዜ፡ ከመ፡ እክዐው፡ መዐትየ፡ ላዕሌኪ፡ ወእሠልጥ፡ መቅሠፍትየ፡ ዲቤኪ፣፡ ወእኴንነኪ፡ በፍኖትኪ፡ ወአገብእ፡ ላዕሌኪ፡ ኵሎ፡ (ፍኖተኪ፡ ወ)፡ ርኵሰኪ።
Now I will shortly pour out my wrath on you, and accomplish my anger against you, and will judge you according to your ways. I will bring on you all your abominations.
7:9
וְלֹא־תָח֥וֹס עֵינִ֖י וְלֹ֣א אֶחְמ֑וֹל כִּדְרָכַ֜יִךְ עָלַ֣יִךְ אֶתֵּ֗ן וְתוֹעֲבוֹתַ֙יִךְ֙ בְּתוֹכֵ֣ךְ תִּהְיֶ֔יןָ וִידַעְתֶּ֕ם כִּ֛י אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה מַכֶּֽה׃
διότι τάδε λέγει κύριος
et non parcet oculus meus, nec miserebor : sed vias tuas imponam tibi, et abominationes tuae in medio tui erunt, et scietis quia ego sum Dominus percutiens.
ወኢይሠሀለኪ፡ ወዐይንየ፡ ኢትምሕከኪ፡ እስመ፡ አገብእ፡ ዲቤኪ፡ ፍኖተኪ፡ ወይከውን፡ ርኵስኪ፡ በማእከሌኪ፣፡ ወተአምሪ፡ ከመ፡ አነ፡ ውእቱ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘእቀሥፍ።
My eye won’t spare, neither will I have pity. I will punish you according to your ways. Your abominations will be among you. Then you will know that I, Yahweh, strike.
7:10
הִנֵּ֥ה הַיּ֖וֹם הִנֵּ֣ה בָאָ֑ה יָֽצְאָה֙ הַצְּפִרָ֔ה צָ֚ץ הַמַּטֶּ֔ה פָּרַ֖ח הַזָּדֽוֹן׃
ἰδοὺ τὸ πέρας ἥκει ἰδοὺ ἡμέρα κυρίου εἰ καὶ ἡ ῥάβδος ἤνθηκεν ἡ ὕβρις ἐξανέστηκεν
Ecce dies, ecce venit : egressa est contritio, floruit virga, germinavit superbia,
ናሁ፡ በጽሐ፡ ዕድሜሁ፡ ወነያ፡ ዕለተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወፅአት፡ ወተፀፍረት፡ ወሠረፀት፡ በትር፡ ወተንሥአት፡ ጽዕለታ።
“‘Behold, the day! Behold, it comes! Your doom has gone out. The rod has blossomed. Pride has budded.
7:11
הֶחָמָ֥ס׀קָ֖ם לְמַטֵּה־רֶ֑שַׁע לֹא־מֵהֶ֞ם וְלֹ֧א מֵהֲמוֹנָ֛ם וְלֹ֥א מֶהֱמֵהֶ֖ם וְלֹא־נֹ֥הַּ בָּהֶֽם׃
καὶ συντρίψει στήριγμα ἀνόμου καὶ οὐ μετὰ θορύβου οὐδὲ μετὰ σπουδῆς
iniquitas surrexit in virga impietatis : non ex eis, et non ex populo, neque ex sonitu eorum : et non erit requies in eis.
ወተቀጥቀጠ፡ ምርጉዘ፡ ኃጥእ፣፡ አኮ፡ በሁከት፡ ወአኮ፡ በጕጕእ።
Violence has risen up into a rod of wickedness. None of them will remain, nor of their multitude, nor of their wealth. There will be nothing of value among them.
7:12
בָּ֤א הָעֵת֙ הִגִּ֣יעַ הַיּ֔וֹם הַקּוֹנֶה֙ אַל־יִשְׂמָ֔ח וְהַמֹּכֵ֖ר אַל־יִתְאַבָּ֑ל כִּ֥י חָר֖וֹן אֶל־כׇּל־הֲמוֹנָֽהּ׃
ἥκει ὁ καιρός ἰδοὺ ἡ ἡμέρα ὁ κτώμενος μὴ χαιρέτω καὶ ὁ πωλῶν μὴ θρηνείτω
Venit tempus, appropinquavit dies : qui emit, non laetetur, et qui vendit, non lugeat : quia ira super omnem populum ejus.
በጽሐ፡ ዕድሜሃ፡ ወነያ፡ ዕለታ። ዘተሣየጠ፡ ኢይትፌሣሕ፡ ወዘሤጠ፡ ኢይቴክዝ፡ እስመ፡ መቅሠፍታ፡ መልአ፡ ላዕለ፡ ኵለንታሃ።
The time has come! The day draws near. Don’t let the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn; for wrath is on all its multitude.
7:13
כִּ֣י הַמֹּכֵ֗ר אֶל־הַמִּמְכָּר֙ לֹ֣א יָשׁ֔וּב וְע֥וֹד בַּחַיִּ֖ים חַיָּתָ֑ם כִּֽי־חָז֤וֹן אֶל־כׇּל־הֲמוֹנָהּ֙ לֹ֣א יָשׁ֔וּב וְאִ֧ישׁ בַּעֲוֺנ֛וֹ חַיָּת֖וֹ לֹ֥א יִתְחַזָּֽקוּ׃
διότι ὁ κτώμενος πρὸς τὸν πωλοῦντα οὐκέτι μὴ ἐπιστρέψῃ καὶ ἄνθρωπος ἐν ὀφθαλμῷ ζωῆς αὐτοῦ οὐ κρατήσει
Quia qui vendit, ad id quod vendidit non revertetur : et adhuc in viventibus vita eorum : visio enim ad omnem multitudinem ejus non regredietur, et vir in iniquitate vitae suae non confortabitur.
ወኢይሰወጥ፡ እንከ፡ ዘተሣየጠ፡ ኀበ፡ ዘሤጠ፡ ወዓዲ፡ ውስተ፡ ሕይወት፡ የሐዩ፡ እስመ፡ ርእየ፡ ኵለንታሃ፡ ወኢተሰውጠ፡ እንከ፡ ወሕይወቱ፡ ለሰብእ፡ ቅድመ፡ አዕይንቲሁ።
For the seller won’t return to that which is sold, although they are still alive; for the vision concerns the whole multitude of it. None will return. None will strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.
7:14
תָּקְע֤וּ בַתָּק֙וֹעַ֙ וְהָכִ֣ין הַכֹּ֔ל וְאֵ֥ין הֹלֵ֖ךְ לַמִּלְחָמָ֑ה כִּ֥י חֲרוֹנִ֖י אֶל־כׇּל־הֲמוֹנָֽהּ׃
σαλπίσατε ἐν σάλπιγγι καὶ κρίνατε τὰ σύμπαντα
Canite tuba, praeparentur omnes : et non est qui vadat ad praelium : ira enim mea super universum populum ejus.
ንፍኁ፡ ቀርነ፡ ወስብኩ፡ ለኵሎሙ፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘይጸብእ፡ እስመ፡ መቅሠፍትየ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ።
They have blown the trumpet, and have made all ready; but no one goes to the battle, for my wrath is on all its multitude.
7:15
הַחֶ֣רֶב בַּח֔וּץ וְהַדֶּ֥בֶר וְהָרָעָ֖ב מִבָּ֑יִת אֲשֶׁ֤ר בַּשָּׂדֶה֙ בַּחֶ֣רֶב יָמ֔וּת וַאֲשֶׁ֣ר בָּעִ֔יר רָעָ֥ב וָדֶ֖בֶר יֹאכְלֶֽנּוּ׃
ὁ πόλεμος ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ ἔξωθεν καὶ ὁ λιμὸς καὶ ὁ θάνατος ἔσωθεν ὁ ἐν τῷ πεδίῳ ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ τελευτήσει τοὺς δὲ ἐν τῇ πόλει λιμὸς καὶ θάνατος συντελέσει
Gladium foris, et pestis et fames intrinsecus : qui in agro est, gladio morietur, et qui in civitate, pestilentia et fame devorabuntur.
ቀትል፡ በኲናት፡ እምአፍአሃ፡ ወረኃብ፡ ወበብድብድ፡ እምውሥጣ። ዘገዳም፡ ይወድቅ፡ በኲናት፣፡ ወዘውስተ፡ ሀገር፡ የኀልቅ፡ በረኃብ፡ ወበብድብድ።
“‘The sword is outside, and the pestilence and the famine within. He who is in the field will die by the sword. He who is in the city will be devoured by famine and pestilence.
7:16
וּפָֽלְטוּ֙ פְּלִ֣יטֵיהֶ֔ם וְהָי֣וּ אֶל־הֶהָרִ֗ים כְּיוֹנֵ֧י הַגֵּאָי֛וֹת כֻּלָּ֖ם הֹמ֑וֹת אִ֖ישׁ בַּעֲוֺנֽוֹ׃
καὶ ἀνασωθήσονται οἱ ἀνασῳζόμενοι ἐξ αὐτῶν καὶ ἔσονται ἐπὶ τῶν ὀρέων πάντας ἀποκτενῶ ἕκαστον ἐν ταῖς ἀδικίαις αὐτοῦ
Et salvabuntur qui fugerint ex eis : et erunt in montibus quasi columbae convallium omnes trepidi, unusquisque in iniquitate sua.
ወይድኅኑ፡ እለ፡ ጐዩ፡ እምውስቴቶሙ፡ ወይነብሩ፡ ውስተ፡ አድባር፡ ከመ፡ ርግብ፡ ዘይትሜሀር፡ ሰሪረ። ወእቀትለክሙ፡ ለኵልክሙ፡ በኃጢአትክሙ።
But of those who escape, they will escape and will be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, everyone in his iniquity.
7:17
כׇּל־הַיָּדַ֖יִם תִּרְפֶּ֑ינָה וְכׇל־בִּרְכַּ֖יִם תֵּלַ֥כְנָה מָּֽיִם׃
πᾶσαι χεῖρες ἐκλυθήσονται καὶ πάντες μηροὶ μολυνθήσονται ὑγρασίᾳ
Omnes manus dissolventur, et omnia genua fluent aquis.
ወይደክማ፡ እደወ፡ ኵልክሙ፡ ወይበኈብኁ፡ እገሪክሙ፡ በመግል።
All hands will be feeble, and all knees will be weak as water.
7:18
וְחָגְר֣וּ שַׂקִּ֔ים וְכִסְּתָ֥ה אוֹתָ֖ם פַּלָּצ֑וּת וְאֶ֤ל כׇּל־פָּנִים֙ בּוּשָׁ֔ה וּבְכׇל־רָאשֵׁיהֶ֖ם קׇרְחָֽה׃
καὶ περιζώσονται σάκκους καὶ καλύψει αὐτοὺς θάμβος καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶν πρόσωπον αἰσχύνη ἐπ’ αὐτούς καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶσαν κεφαλὴν φαλάκρωμα
Et accingent se ciliciis, et operiet eos formido : et in omni facie confusio, et in universis capitibus eorum calvitium.
ወትቀንቱ፡ ሠቀ፡ ወይደፍነክሙ፡ ድንጋፄ፡ ወኃፍረት፡ ውስተ፡ ገጽክሙ፡ ወውስተ፡ ርእስክሙ፡ ብርሐት፡ ለኲልክሙ።
They will also clothe themselves with sackcloth, and horror will cover them. Shame will be on all faces, and baldness on all their heads.
7:19
כַּסְפָּ֞ם בַּחוּצ֣וֹת יַשְׁלִ֗יכוּ וּזְהָבָם֮ לְנִדָּ֣ה יִֽהְיֶה֒ כַּסְפָּ֨ם וּזְהָבָ֜ם לֹא־יוּכַ֣ל לְהַצִּילָ֗ם בְּיוֹם֙ עֶבְרַ֣ת יְהֹוָ֔ה נַפְשָׁם֙ לֹ֣א יְשַׂבֵּ֔עוּ וּמֵעֵיהֶ֖ם לֹ֣א יְמַלֵּ֑אוּ כִּֽי־מִכְשׁ֥וֹל עֲוֺנָ֖ם הָיָֽה׃
τὸ ἀργύριον αὐτῶν ῥιφήσεται ἐν ταῖς πλατείαις καὶ τὸ χρυσίον αὐτῶν ὑπεροφθήσεται αἱ ψυχαὶ αὐτῶν οὐ μὴ ἐμπλησθῶσιν καὶ αἱ κοιλίαι αὐτῶν οὐ μὴ πληρωθῶσιν διότι βάσανος τῶν ἀδικιῶν αὐτῶν ἐγένετο
Argentum eorum foras projicietur, et aurum eorum in sterquilinium erit : argentum eorum et aurum eorum non valebit liberare eos in die furoris Domini : animam suam non saturabunt, et ventres eorum non implebuntur, quia scandalum iniquitatis eorum factum est.
ብሩሮሙ፡ ይዘረው፡ ውስተ፡ መርሕብ፡ ወወርቆሙኒ፡ ይከውን፡ ምኑነ። ወኢያድኀኖሙ፡ ወርቆሙ፡ ወብሩሮሙ፡ በዕለተ፡ መዐቱ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ነፍሶሙ፡ ኢትጸግብ፡ ወከርሦሙኒ፡ ኢትመልእ፡ በእንተ፡ መቅሠፍተ፡ ኃጢአቶሙ፡ ኮነቶሙ።
They will cast their silver in the streets, and their gold will be as an unclean thing. Their silver and their gold won’t be able to deliver them in the day of Yahweh’s wrath. They won’t satisfy their souls or fill their bellies; because it has been the stumbling block of their iniquity.
7:20
וּצְבִ֤י עֶדְיוֹ֙ לְגָא֣וֹן שָׂמָ֔הוּ וְצַלְמֵ֧י תוֹעֲבֹתָ֛ם שִׁקּוּצֵיהֶ֖ם עָ֣שׂוּ ב֑וֹ עַל־כֵּ֛ן נְתַתִּ֥יו לָהֶ֖ם לְנִדָּֽה׃
ἐκλεκτὰ κόσμου εἰς ὑπερηφανίαν ἔθεντο αὐτὰ καὶ εἰκόνας τῶν βδελυγμάτων αὐτῶν ἐποίησαν ἐξ αὐτῶν ἕνεκεν τούτου δέδωκα αὐτὰ αὐτοῖς εἰς ἀκαθαρσίαν
Et ornamentum monilium suorum in superbiam posuerunt, et imagines abominationum suarum et simulacrorum fecerunt ex eo : propter hoc dedi eis illud in immunditiam.
ኅሬሁ፡ ለዓለም፡ ለትዝኅርቶሙ፡ ረሰይዎ፡ ወገብሩ፡ ሎሙ፡ ምስለ፡ ለርኵሶሙ፡ እምውስቴቱ። ወበእንተ፡ ዝንቱ፡ አኅሠርክዎሙ።
As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty; but they made the images of their abominations and their detestable things therein. Therefore I have made it to them as an unclean thing.
7:21
וּנְתַתִּ֤יו בְּיַֽד־הַזָּרִים֙ לָבַ֔ז וּלְרִשְׁעֵ֥י הָאָ֖רֶץ לְשָׁלָ֑ל (וחללוה) [וְחִלְּלֽוּהוּ]׃
καὶ παραδώσω αὐτὰ εἰς χεῖρας ἀλλοτρίων τοῦ διαρπάσαι αὐτὰ καὶ τοῖς λοιμοῖς τῆς γῆς εἰς σκῦλα καὶ βεβηλώσουσιν αὐτά
Et dabo illud in manus alienorum ad diripiendum, et impiis terrae in praedam, et contaminabunt illud.
ወአገብኦ፡ ውስተ፡ እደ፡ ነኪር፡ ወይበረብርዎ፣፡ ወየኀበልይዎ፡ ኃጥኣነ፡ ምድር፡ ወያረኵስዎ።
I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a plunder; and they will profane it.
7:22
וַהֲסִבּוֹתִ֤י פָנַי֙ מֵהֶ֔ם וְחִלְּל֖וּ אֶת־צְפוּנִ֑י וּבָאוּ־בָ֥הּ פָּרִיצִ֖ים וְחִלְּלֽוּהָ׃ {פ}
καὶ ἀποστρέψω τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἀπ’ αὐτῶν καὶ μιανοῦσιν τὴν ἐπισκοπήν μου καὶ εἰσελεύσονται εἰς αὐτὰ ἀφυλάκτως καὶ βεβηλώσουσιν αὐτά
Et avertam faciem meam ab eis, et violabunt arcanum meum : et introibunt in illud emissarii, et contaminabunt illud.
ወእመይጥ፡ ገጽየ፡ እምኔሆሙ፡ እስመ፡ አርኰሱ፡ ሥርዓትየ፡ ወይበውኡ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ፡ ወይደብይዎሙ፡ ወያኀሥርዎሙ።
I will also turn my face from them, and they will profane my secret place. Robbers will enter into it, and profane it.
7:23
עֲשֵׂ֖ה הָרַתּ֑וֹק כִּ֣י הָאָ֗רֶץ מָֽלְאָה֙ מִשְׁפַּ֣ט דָּמִ֔ים וְהָעִ֖יר מָלְאָ֥ה חָמָֽס׃
καὶ ποιήσουσι φυρμόν διότι ἡ γῆ πλήρης λαῶν καὶ ἡ πόλις πλήρης ἀνομίας
Fac conclusionem, quoniam terra plena est judicio sanguinum, et civitas plena iniquitate.
እስመ፡ ከመ፡ መልአት፡ ምድር፡ አሕዛበ፡ መልአት፡ ሀገር፡ ኃጢአተ።
“‘Make chains, for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.
7:24
וְהֵֽבֵאתִי֙ רָעֵ֣י גוֹיִ֔ם וְיָרְשׁ֖וּ אֶת־בָּתֵּיהֶ֑ם וְהִשְׁבַּתִּי֙ גְּא֣וֹן עַזִּ֔ים וְנִחֲל֖וּ מְקַֽדְשֵׁיהֶֽם׃
καὶ ἀποστρέψω τὸ φρύαγμα τῆς ἰσχύος αὐτῶν καὶ μιανθήσεται τὰ ἅγια αὐτῶν
Et adducam pessimos de gentibus, et possidebunt domos eorum : et quiescere faciam superbiam potentium, et possidebunt sanctuaria eorum.
ወአመጽእ፡ እኩያነ፡ አሕዛበ፡ ወይወርስዎሙ፡ አብያቲሆሙ፡ ወእመይጥ፡ ትዕቢተ፡ ኃይሎሙ፡ ወያረኵሱ፡ መቅደሶሙ።
Therefore I will bring the worst of the nations, and they will possess their houses. I will also make the pride of the strong to cease. Their holy places will be profaned.
7:25
קְפָ֖דָה־בָ֑א וּבִקְשׁ֥וּ שָׁל֖וֹם וָאָֽיִן׃
ἐξιλασμὸς ἥξει καὶ ζητήσει εἰρήνην καὶ οὐκ ἔσται
Angustia superveniente, requirent pacem, et non erit.
ወይመጽእ፡ ዘየዐርቅ፡ ወየኀሥሥ፡ ሰላመ፡ ወኢይረክብ።
Destruction comes! They will seek peace, and there will be none.
7:26
הֹוָ֤ה עַל־הֹוָה֙ תָּב֔וֹא וּשְׁמֻעָ֥ה אֶל־שְׁמוּעָ֖ה תִּֽהְיֶ֑ה וּבִקְשׁ֤וּ חָזוֹן֙ מִנָּבִ֔יא וְתוֹרָה֙ תֹּאבַ֣ד מִכֹּהֵ֔ן וְעֵצָ֖ה מִזְּקֵנִֽים׃
οὐαὶ ἐπὶ οὐαὶ ἔσται καὶ ἀγγελία ἐπ’ ἀγγελίαν ἔσται καὶ ζητηθήσεται ὅρασις ἐκ προφήτου καὶ νόμος ἀπολεῖται ἐξ ἱερέως καὶ βουλὴ ἐκ πρεσβυτέρων
Conturbatio super conturbationem veniet, et auditus super auditum : et quaerent visionem de propheta, et lex peribit a sacerdote, et consilium a senioribus.
ዘእንበለ፡ ወይቤ፡ በዲበ፡ ወይሌ፡ ወድንጋፄ፡ በዲበ፡ ድንጋፄ፡ ወየኀሥሡ፡ ራእየ፡ እምነቢይ፡ ወትትገደፍ፡ ኦሪት፡ እምካህን፡ ወትትረሳዕ፡ ምክር፡ እምሊቃናት።
Mischief will come on mischief, and rumor will be on rumor. They will seek a vision of the prophet; but the law will perish from the priest, and counsel from the elders.
7:27
הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ יִתְאַבָּ֗ל וְנָשִׂיא֙ יִלְבַּ֣שׁ שְׁמָמָ֔ה וִידֵ֥י עַם־הָאָ֖רֶץ תִּבָּהַ֑לְנָה מִדַּרְכָּ֞ם אֶעֱשֶׂ֤ה אֹתָם֙ וּבְמִשְׁפְּטֵיהֶ֣ם אֶשְׁפְּטֵ֔ם וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה׃ {פ}
ἄρχων ἐνδύσεται ἀφανισμόν καὶ αἱ χεῖρες τοῦ λαοῦ τῆς γῆς παραλυθήσονται κατὰ τὰς ὁδοὺς αὐτῶν ποιήσω αὐτοῖς καὶ ἐν τοῖς κρίμασιν αὐτῶν ἐκδικήσω αὐτούς καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος
Rex lugebit, et princeps induetur moerore, et manus populi terrae conturbabuntur : secundum viam eorum faciam eis, et secundum judicia eorum judicabo eos, et scient quia ego Dominus.
ወይላሑ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ወመላእክት፡ ይለብሱ፡ ኃሣረ፡ ወይደክማ፡ እደዊሆሙ፡ ለአሕዛበ፡ ምድር። ወእሬስዮሙ፡ በከመ፡ ፍኖቶሙ፡ ወእትቤቀሎሙ፡ በኵነኔሆሙ፣፡ ወየአምሩ፡ ከመ፡ አነ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
The king will mourn, and the prince will be clothed with desolation. The hands of the people of the land will be troubled. I will do to them after their way, and according to their own judgments I will judge them. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.’”
