15:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ מַשָּׂ֖א מוֹאָ֑ב כִּ֠י בְּלֵ֞יל שֻׁדַּ֨ד עָ֤ר מוֹאָב֙ נִדְמָ֔ה כִּ֗י בְּלֵ֛יל שֻׁדַּ֥ד קִיר ־מוֹאָ֖ב נִדְמָֽה ׃
τὸ ῥῆμα τὸ κατὰ τῆς Μωαβίτιδος νυκτὸς ἀπολεῖται ἡ Μωαβῖτις νυκτὸς γὰρ ἀπολεῖται τὸ τεῖχος τῆς Μωαβίτιδος
Onus Moab . Quia nocte vastata est Ar Moab , conticuit ; quia nocte vastatus est murus Moab , conticuit .
በሌሊት ፡ ያጠፍእዋ ፡ ለሞአብ ፡ ወበሌሊት ፡ ያንኅልዋ ፡ ለጥቅመ ፡ ሞአብ ።
The burden of Moab. For in a night, Ar of Moab is laid waste, and brought to nothing. For in a night Kir of Moab is laid waste, and brought to nothing.
15:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ עָלָ֨ה הַבַּ֧יִת וְדִיבֹ֛ן הַבָּמ֖וֹת לְבֶ֑כִי עַל ־נְב֞וֹ וְעַ֤ל מֵֽידְבָא֙ מוֹאָ֣ב יְיֵלִ֔יל בְּכׇל ־רֹאשָׁ֣יו קׇרְחָ֔ה כׇּל ־זָקָ֖ן גְּרוּעָֽה ׃
λυπεῖσθε ἐφ’ ἑαυτοῖς ἀπολεῖται γὰρ καὶ Δηβων οὗ ὁ βωμὸς ὑμῶν ἐκεῖ ἀναβήσεσθε κλαίειν ἐπὶ Ναβαυ τῆς Μωαβίτιδος ὀλολύζετε ἐπὶ πάσης κεφαλῆς φαλάκρωμα πάντες βραχίονες κατατετμημένοι
Ascendit domus , et Dibon ad excelsa , in planctum super Nabo ; et super Medaba , Moab ululavit ; in cunctis capitibus ejus calvitium , et omnis barba radetur .
ተክዙ ፡ ለርእስክሙ ፡ እስመ ፡ ተሐጕለት ፡ ዴቦን ፡ ኀበ ፡ ይነብር ፡ ጣዖትክሙ ፡ ወኀበ ፡ ሀሎ ፡ ምሥዋዓቲክሙ ።
They have gone up to Bayith, and to Dibon, to the high places, to weep. Moab wails over Nebo and over Medeba. Baldness is on all of their heads. Every beard is cut off.
15:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ בְּחוּצֹתָ֖יו חָ֣גְרוּ שָׂ֑ק עַ֣ל גַּגּוֹתֶ֧יהָ וּבִרְחֹבֹתֶ֛יהָ כֻּלֹּ֥ה יְיֵלִ֖יל יֹרֵ֥ד בַּבֶּֽכִי ׃
ἐν ταῖς πλατείαις αὐτῆς περιζώσασθε σάκκους καὶ κόπτεσθε ἐπὶ τῶν δωμάτων αὐτῆς καὶ ἐν ταῖς ῥύμαις αὐτῆς πάντες ὀλολύζετε μετὰ κλαυθμοῦ
In triviis ejus accincti sunt sacco ; super tecta ejus et in plateis ejus omnis ululatus descendit in fletum .
በውስተ ፡ መርሕባ ፡ ቅንቱ ፡ ሠቀ ፡ ወብክዩ ፡ በውስተ ፡ አንሕስቲሃ ፡ ወአውይዉ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አስኳቲሃ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ትበክዩ ።
In their streets, they clothe themselves in sackcloth. In their streets and on their housetops, everyone wails, weeping abundantly.
15:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַתִּזְעַ֤ק חֶשְׁבּוֹן֙ וְאֶלְעָלֵ֔ה עַד ־יַ֖הַץ נִשְׁמַ֣ע קוֹלָ֑ם עַל ־כֵּ֗ן חֲלֻצֵ֤י מוֹאָב֙ יָרִ֔יעוּ נַפְשׁ֖וֹ יָ֥רְעָה לּֽוֹ ׃
ὅτι κέκραγεν Εσεβων καὶ Ελεαλη ἕως Ιασσα ἠκούσθη ἡ φωνὴ αὐτῶν διὰ τοῦτο ἡ ὀσφὺς τῆς Μωαβίτιδος βοᾷ ἡ ψυχὴ αὐτῆς γνώσεται
Clamabit Hesebon et Eleale , usque Jasa audita est vox eorum ; super hoc expediti Moab ululabunt , anima ejus ululabit sibi .
እስመ ፡ አውየወት ፡ ሐሴቦን ፡ ወነገረት ፡ እስከ ፡ ኢያሳ ፡ ወተሰምዐ ፡ ቃሎሙ ።
Heshbon cries out with Elealeh. Their voice is heard even to Jahaz. Therefore the armed men of Moab cry aloud. Their souls tremble within them.
15:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ לִבִּי֙ לְמוֹאָ֣ב יִזְעָ֔ק בְּרִיחֶ֕הָ עַד ־צֹ֖עַר עֶגְלַ֣ת שְׁלִשִׁיָּ֑ה כִּ֣י ׀ מַעֲלֵ֣ה הַלּוּחִ֗ית בִּבְכִי֙ יַֽעֲלֶה ־בּ֔וֹ כִּ֚י דֶּ֣רֶךְ חוֹרֹנַ֔יִם זַעֲקַת ־שֶׁ֖בֶר יְעֹעֵֽרוּ ׃
ἡ καρδία τῆς Μωαβίτιδος βοᾷ ἐν αὐτῇ ἕως Σηγωρ δάμαλις γάρ ἐστιν τριετής ἐπὶ δὲ τῆς ἀναβάσεως τῆς Λουιθ πρὸς σὲ κλαίοντες ἀναβήσονται τῇ ὁδῷ Αρωνιιμ βοᾷ σύντριμμα καὶ σεισμός
Cor meum ad Moab clamabit ; vectes ejus usque ad Segor , vitulam conternantem ; per ascensum enim Luith flens ascendet , et in via Oronaim clamorem contritionis levabunt .
ልባ ፡ ለሞአብ ፡ ተአወዩ ፡ ባሕቲታ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሴጎር ፤ እስመ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እጐልት ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ዘሠለስቱ ፡ ክረምታ ፤ በውስተ ፡ ዐቀባ ፡ ለሉዊት ፡ ይበክዩ ፡ ኀቤከ ፡ ወየዐርጉ ፡ ፍኖተ ፡ አሮሜን ።
My heart cries out for Moab! Her nobles flee to Zoar, to Eglath Shelishiyah; for they go up by the ascent of Luhith with weeping; for on the way to Horonaim, they raise up a cry of destruction.
15:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּי ־מֵ֥י נִמְרִ֖ים מְשַׁמּ֣וֹת יִֽהְי֑וּ כִּֽי ־יָבֵ֤שׁ חָצִיר֙ כָּ֣לָה דֶ֔שֶׁא יֶ֖רֶק לֹ֥א הָיָֽה ׃
τὸ ὕδωρ τῆς Νεμριμ ἔρημον ἔσται καὶ ὁ χόρτος αὐτῆς ἐκλείψει χόρτος γὰρ χλωρὸς οὐκ ἔσται
Aquae enim Nemrim desertae erunt , quia aruit herba , defecit germen , viror omnis interiit .
ወይነፅፍ ፡ ማየ ፡ ኔምሬም ፡ ወየኀልቅ ፡ ሣዕራ ፤ ወኢይትረከብ ፡ ሐመልማል ፡ በውስቴታ ።
For the waters of Nimrim will be desolate; for the grass has withered away, the tender grass fails, there is no green thing.
15:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ עַל ־כֵּ֖ן יִתְרָ֣ה עָשָׂ֑ה וּ֨פְקֻדָּתָ֔ם עַ֛ל נַ֥חַל הָעֲרָבִ֖ים יִשָּׂאֽוּם ׃
μὴ καὶ οὕτως μέλλει σωθῆναι ἐπάξω γὰρ ἐπὶ τὴν φάραγγα Ἄραβας καὶ λήμψονται αὐτήν
Secundum magnitudinem operis , et visitatio eorum : ad torrentem Salicum ducent eos .
ወምስለ ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ሀለወከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢትድኅን ፤ እስመ ፡ አመጽእ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቈላተ ፡ ዐረባስ ፡ ወይነሥኣ ።
Therefore they will carry away the abundance they have gotten, and that which they have stored up, over the brook of the willows.
15:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּי ־הִקִּ֥יפָה הַזְּעָקָ֖ה אֶת ־גְּב֣וּל מוֹאָ֑ב עַד ־אֶגְלַ֙יִם֙ יִלְלָתָ֔הּ וּבְאֵ֥ר אֵילִ֖ים יִלְלָתָֽהּ ׃
συνῆψεν γὰρ ἡ βοὴ τὸ ὅριον τῆς Μωαβίτιδος τῆς Αγαλλιμ καὶ ὀλολυγμὸς αὐτῆς ἕως τοῦ φρέατος τοῦ Αιλιμ
Quoniam circuivit clamor terminum Moab ; usque ad Gallim ululatus ejus , et usque ad puteum Elim clamor ejus .
እስመ ፡ ኀብረ ፡ አውያታ ፡ ምስለ ፡ በሐውርተ ፡ ሞአብ ፡ ዘአጋሌም ፡ ወወውዑ ፡ እስከ ፡ ዐዘቅተ ፡ ኤሌም ።
For the cry has gone around the borders of Moab, its wailing to Eglaim, and its wailing to Beer Elim.
15:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּ֣י מֵ֤י דִימוֹן֙ מָ֣לְאוּ דָ֔ם כִּֽי ־אָשִׁ֥ית עַל ־דִּימ֖וֹן נוֹסָפ֑וֹת לִפְלֵיטַ֤ת מוֹאָב֙ אַרְיֵ֔ה וְלִשְׁאֵרִ֖ית אֲדָמָֽה ׃
τὸ δὲ ὕδωρ τὸ Ρεμμων πλησθήσεται αἵματος ἐπάξω γὰρ ἐπὶ Ρεμμων Ἄραβας καὶ ἀρῶ τὸ σπέρμα Μωαβ καὶ Αριηλ καὶ τὸ κατάλοιπον Αδαμα
Quia aquae Dibon repletae sunt sanguine ; ponam enim super Dibon additamenta ; his qui fugerint de Moab leonem , et reliquiis terrae .
ወይመልእ ፡ ደም ፡ ውስተ ፡ ማየ ፡ ሮሞን ፤ እስመ ፡ አመጽእ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ሮሞን ፡ ዐረባስ ፡ ወአነሥእ ፡ ዘርአ ፡ ሞአብ ፡ ወአርያል ፡ ወእለ ፡ ተርፉ ፡ እምአደማ ።
For the waters of Dimon are full of blood; for I will bring yet more on Dimon, a lion on those of Moab who escape, and on the remnant of the land.
