27:1
בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֡וּא יִפְקֹ֣ד יְהֹוָה֩ בְּחַרְבּ֨וֹ הַקָּשָׁ֜ה וְהַגְּדוֹלָ֣ה וְהַחֲזָקָ֗ה עַ֤ל לִוְיָתָן֙ נָחָ֣שׁ בָּרִ֔חַ וְעַל֙ לִוְיָתָ֔ן נָחָ֖שׁ עֲקַלָּת֑וֹן וְהָרַ֥ג אֶת־הַתַּנִּ֖ין אֲשֶׁ֥ר בַּיָּֽם׃ {ס}
τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ἐπάξει ὁ θεὸς τὴν μάχαιραν τὴν ἁγίαν καὶ τὴν μεγάλην καὶ τὴν ἰσχυρὰν ἐπὶ τὸν δράκοντα ὄφιν φεύγοντα ἐπὶ τὸν δράκοντα ὄφιν σκολιὸν καὶ ἀνελεῖ τὸν δράκοντα
In die illa visitabit Dominus in gladio suo duro, et grandi, et forti, super Leviathan, serpentem vectem, et super Leviathan, serpentem tortuosum, et occidet cetum qui in mari est.
ይእተ፡ አሚረ፡ ያመጽእ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ መጥባሕተ፡ ቅዱሰ፡ ወዓቢየ፡ ወጽኑዓ፡ ላዕለ፡ ከይሲ፡ ወላዕለ፡ አርዌ፡ ምድር፡ ዘይጐይይ፡ ኀበ፡ ከይሲ፡ ወአርዌ፡ ምድር፡ ዘየአኪ፤ ወይቀትሎ፡ ለከይሲ፡ ዘውስተ፡ ባሕር።
In that day, Yahweh with his hard and great and strong sword will punish leviathan, the fleeing serpent, and leviathan, the twisted serpent; and he will kill the dragon that is in the sea.
27:2
בַּיּ֖וֹם הַה֑וּא כֶּ֥רֶם חֶ֖מֶר עַנּוּ־לָֽהּ׃
τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ἀμπελὼν καλός ἐπιθύμημα ἐξάρχειν κατ’ αὐτῆς
In die illa vinea meri cantabit ei.
ውእተ፡ አሚረ፡ ዐፀደ፡ ወይን፡ ሠናይ፡ ወመፍትው፡ ዘእምትካት፡ ዘዚአሃ።
In that day, sing to her, “A pleasant vineyard!
27:3
אֲנִ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ נֹֽצְרָ֔הּ לִרְגָעִ֖ים אַשְׁקֶ֑נָּה פֶּ֚ן יִפְקֹ֣ד עָלֶ֔יהָ לַ֥יְלָה וָי֖וֹם אֶצֳּרֶֽנָּה׃
ἐγὼ πόλις ἰσχυρά πόλις πολιορκουμένη μάτην ποτιῶ αὐτήν ἁλώσεται γὰρ νυκτός ἡμέρας δὲ πεσεῖται τὸ τεῖχος
Ego Dominus qui servo eam ; repente propinabo ei. Ne forte visitetur contra eam, nocte et die servo eam.
አነ፡ ሀገር፡ ጽንዕት፤ አሐተ፡ ሀገረ፡ ይጸብኡ፡ ወከንቶ፡ አስተይክዋ፤ ሌሊተ፡ ትሠገር፡ ወመዓልተ፡ ይወድቅ፡ አረፍታ፤ ወአልቦ፡ ዘያነሥኣ።
I, Yahweh, am its keeper. I will water it every moment. Lest anyone damage it, I will keep it night and day.
27:4
חֵמָ֖ה אֵ֣ין לִ֑י מִֽי־יִתְּנֵ֜נִי שָׁמִ֥יר שַׁ֙יִת֙ בַּמִּלְחָמָ֔ה אֶפְשְׂעָ֥ה בָ֖הּ אֲצִיתֶ֥נָּה יָּֽחַד׃
οὐκ ἔστιν ἣ οὐκ ἐπελάβετο αὐτῆς τίς με θήσει φυλάσσειν καλάμην ἐν ἀγρῷ διὰ τὴν πολεμίαν ταύτην ἠθέτηκα αὐτήν τοίνυν διὰ τοῦτο ἐποίησεν κύριος ὁ θεὸς πάντα ὅσα συνέταξεν κατακέκαυμαι
Indignatio non est mihi. Quis dabit me spinam et veprem in praelio ? gradiar super eam, succendam eam pariter.
መኑ፡ ይሠይመኒ፡ ዐቃቤ፡ ህለት፡ በገዳም፤ በእንተ፡ ዛቲ፡ ጸብእቄዕክዋ።
Wrath is not in me, but if I should find briers and thorns, I would do battle! I would march on them and I would burn them together.
27:5
א֚וֹ יַחֲזֵ֣ק בְּמָעוּזִּ֔י יַעֲשֶׂ֥ה שָׁל֖וֹם לִ֑י שָׁל֖וֹם יַעֲשֶׂה־לִּֽי׃
βοήσονται οἱ ἐνοικοῦντες ἐν αὐτῇ ποιήσωμεν εἰρήνην αὐτῷ ποιήσωμεν εἰρήνην
An potius tenebit fortitudinem meam ? faciet pacem mihi, pacem faciet mihi.
ወአውየዉ፡ እለ፡ ይነብሩ፡ ውስቴታ፡ ወንግበር፡ ሎቱ፡ ሰላመ።
Or else let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me. Let him make peace with me.”
27:6
הַבָּאִים֙ יַשְׁרֵ֣שׁ יַֽעֲקֹ֔ב יָצִ֥יץ וּפָרַ֖ח יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וּמָלְא֥וּ פְנֵי־תֵבֵ֖ל תְּנוּבָֽה׃ {פ}
οἱ ἐρχόμενοι τέκνα Ιακωβ βλαστήσει καὶ ἐξανθήσει Ισραηλ καὶ ἐμπλησθήσεται ἡ οἰκουμένη τοῦ καρποῦ αὐτοῦ
Qui ingrediuntur impetu ad Jacob, florebit et germinabit Israël, et implebunt faciem orbis semine.
እለ፡ ይመጽኡ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ያዕቆብ፡ እስመ፡ ይሠርጽ፡ ወይፈሪ፡ ያዕቆብ፡ ወእስራኤል፡ ወይመልእ፡ ዓለመ፡ ፍሬሁ።
In days to come, Jacob will take root. Israel will blossom and bud. They will fill the surface of the world with fruit.
27:7
הַכְּמַכַּ֥ת מַכֵּ֖הוּ הִכָּ֑הוּ אִם־כְּהֶ֥רֶג הֲרֻגָ֖יו הֹרָֽג׃
μὴ ὡς αὐτὸς ἐπάταξεν καὶ αὐτὸς οὕτως πληγήσεται καὶ ὡς αὐτὸς ἀνεῖλεν οὕτως ἀναιρεθήσεται
Numquid juxta plagam percutientis se percussit eum ? aut sicut occidit interfectos ejus, sic occisus est ?
ኢይትቀሠፍ፡ ዳእሙ፡ በከመ፡ ውእቱ፡ ቀሠፈ፤ ወበከመ፡ ውእቱ፡ ቀተለ፡ ከማሁ፡ ይትቀተል።
Has he struck them as he struck those who struck them? Or are they killed like those who killed them were killed?
27:8
בְּסַאסְּאָ֖ה בְּשַׁלְחָ֣הּ תְּרִיבֶ֑נָּה הָגָ֛ה בְּרוּח֥וֹ הַקָּשָׁ֖ה בְּי֥וֹם קָדִֽים׃
μαχόμενος καὶ ὀνειδίζων ἐξαποστελεῖ αὐτούς οὐ σὺ ἦσθα ὁ μελετῶν τῷ πνεύματι τῷ σκληρῷ ἀνελεῖν αὐτοὺς πνεύματι θυμοῦ
In mensura contra mensuram, cum abjecta fuerit, judicabis eam ; meditatus est in spiritu suo duro per diem aestus.
በባእስ፡ ወበዝንጓጔ፡ ይፌንዎሙ።
In measure, when you send them away, you contend with them. He has removed them with his rough blast in the day of the east wind.
27:9
לָכֵ֗ן בְּזֹאת֙ יְכֻפַּ֣ר עֲוֺֽן־יַעֲקֹ֔ב וְזֶ֕ה כׇּל־פְּרִ֖י הָסִ֣ר חַטָּאת֑וֹ בְּשׂוּמ֣וֹ׀ כׇּל־אַבְנֵ֣י מִזְבֵּ֗חַ כְּאַבְנֵי־גִר֙ מְנֻפָּצ֔וֹת לֹא־יָקֻ֥מוּ אֲשֵׁרִ֖ים וְחַמָּנִֽים׃
διὰ τοῦτο ἀφαιρεθήσεται ἡ ἀνομία Ιακωβ καὶ τοῦτό ἐστιν ἡ εὐλογία αὐτοῦ ὅταν ἀφέλωμαι αὐτοῦ τὴν ἁμαρτίαν ὅταν θῶσιν πάντας τοὺς λίθους τῶν βωμῶν κατακεκομμένους ὡς κονίαν λεπτήν καὶ οὐ μὴ μείνῃ τὰ δένδρα αὐτῶν καὶ τὰ εἴδωλα αὐτῶν ἐκκεκομμένα ὥσπερ δρυμὸς μακράν
Idcirco super hoc dimittetur iniquitas domui Jacob ; et iste omnis fructus : ut auferatur peccatum ejus, cum posuerit omnes lapides altaris sicut lapides cineris allisos : non stabunt luci et delubra.
ወበእንተ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ይሠዐር፡ ኃጢአቱ፡ ለያዕቆብ፡ ወዝንቱ፡ ውእቱ፡ በረከቱ፡ አመ፡ አእተትኩ፡ ኃጢአቶ፣፡ አመ፡ አንበሩ፡ ኵሎሙ፡ እበኒሆሙ፡ ውቁረ፡ ከመ፡ ግብስስ፡ ድቁቅ።
Therefore by this the iniquity of Jacob will be forgiven, and this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: that he makes all the stones of the altar as chalk stones that are beaten in pieces, so that the Asherah poles and the incense altars shall rise no more.
27:10
כִּ֣י עִ֤יר בְּצוּרָה֙ בָּדָ֔ד נָוֶ֕ה מְשֻׁלָּ֥ח וְנֶעֱזָ֖ב כַּמִּדְבָּ֑ר שָׁ֣ם יִרְעֶ֥ה עֵ֛גֶל וְשָׁ֥ם יִרְבָּ֖ץ וְכִלָּ֥ה סְעִפֶֽיהָ׃
τὸ κατοικούμενον ποίμνιον ἀνειμένον ἔσται ὡς ποίμνιον καταλελειμμένον καὶ ἔσται πολὺν χρόνον εἰς βόσκημα καὶ ἐκεῖ ἀναπαύσονται
Civitas enim munita desolata erit ; speciosa relinquetur, et dimittetur quasi desertum ; ibi pascetur vitulus, et ibi accubabit, et consumet summitates ejus.
ማኅደረ፡ መራዕይ፡ ያአትትዎ፡ ከመ፡ መርዔት፡ ዘኀደግዎ፣፡ ጕንዱየ፡ ዕለተ፡ ይትረዐይ፡ ወየዐርፍ፡ ህየ።
For the fortified city is solitary, a habitation deserted and forsaken, like the wilderness. The calf will feed there, and there he will lie down, and consume its branches.
27:11
בִּיבֹ֤שׁ קְצִירָהּ֙ תִּשָּׁבַ֔רְנָה נָשִׁ֕ים בָּא֖וֹת מְאִיר֣וֹת אוֹתָ֑הּ כִּ֣י לֹ֤א עַם־בִּינוֹת֙ ה֔וּא עַל־כֵּן֙ לֹא־יְרַחֲמֶ֣נּוּ עֹשֵׂ֔הוּ וְיֹצְר֖וֹ לֹ֥א יְחֻנֶּֽנּוּ׃ {פ}
καὶ μετὰ χρόνον οὐκ ἔσται ἐν αὐτῇ πᾶν χλωρὸν διὰ τὸ ξηρανθῆναι γυναῖκες ἐρχόμεναι ἀπὸ θέας δεῦτε οὐ γὰρ λαός ἐστιν ἔχων σύνεσιν διὰ τοῦτο οὐ μὴ οἰκτιρήσῃ ὁ ποιήσας αὐτούς οὐδὲ ὁ πλάσας αὐτοὺς οὐ μὴ ἐλεήσῃ
In siccitate messes illius conterentur. Mulieres venientes, et docentes eam ; non est enim populus sapiens : propterea non miserebitur ejus qui fecit eum, et qui formavit eum non parcet ei.
ወጕንዱየ፡ ይየብስ፡ ወኢይትረከብ፡ ውስቴታ፡ ኵሉ፡ ሐመልማል።
When its boughs are withered, they will be broken off. The women will come and set them on fire, for they are a people of no understanding. Therefore he who made them will not have compassion on them, and he who formed them will show them no favor.
27:12
וְהָיָה֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֔וּא יַחְבֹּ֧ט יְהֹוָ֛ה מִשִּׁבֹּ֥לֶת הַנָּהָ֖ר עַד־נַ֣חַל מִצְרָ֑יִם וְאַתֶּ֧ם תְּלֻקְּט֛וּ לְאַחַ֥ד אֶחָ֖ד בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ {פ}
καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ συμφράξει κύριος ἀπὸ τῆς διώρυγος τοῦ ποταμοῦ ἕως Ῥινοκορούρων ὑμεῖς δὲ συναγάγετε τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ κατὰ ἕνα ἕνα
Et erit : in die illa percutiet Dominus ab alveo fluminis usque ad torrentem Aegypti ; et vos congregabimini unus et unus, filii Israël.
ወውእተ፡ አሚረ፡ የሐጽር፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እምናሕበ፡ ፈለግ፡ እስከ፡ ሪኖንቆርሮን።
It will happen in that day that Yahweh will thresh from the flowing stream of the Euphrates to the brook of Egypt; and you will be gathered one by one, children of Israel.
27:13
וְהָיָ֣ה׀ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יִתָּקַע֮ בְּשׁוֹפָ֣ר גָּדוֹל֒ וּבָ֗אוּ הָאֹֽבְדִים֙ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ אַשּׁ֔וּר וְהַנִּדָּחִ֖ים בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם וְהִשְׁתַּחֲו֧וּ לַיהֹוָ֛ה בְּהַ֥ר הַקֹּ֖דֶשׁ בִּירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃ {פ}
καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ σαλπιοῦσιν τῇ σάλπιγγι τῇ μεγάλῃ καὶ ἥξουσιν οἱ ἀπολόμενοι ἐν τῇ χώρᾳ τῶν Ἀσσυρίων καὶ οἱ ἀπολόμενοι ἐν Αἰγύπτῳ καὶ προσκυνήσουσιν τῷ κυρίῳ ἐπὶ τὸ ὄρος τὸ ἅγιον ἐν Ιερουσαλημ
Et erit : in die illa clangetur in tuba magna ; et venient qui perditi fuerant de terra Assyriorum, et qui ejecti erant in terra Aegypti, et adorabunt Dominum in monte sancto in Jerusalem.
ወውእተ፡ አሚረ፡ ይነፍሑ፡ በቀርን፡ ዓቢይ፡ ወይመጽኡ፡ እለ፡ ተሐጕሉ፡ በብሔረ፡ ፋርስ፡ ወተሐጕሉ፡ በግብጽ፡ ወይሰግዱ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ በደብረ፡ መቅደሱ፡ ዘኢየሩሳሌም።
It will happen in that day that a great trumpet will be blown; and those who were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and those who were outcasts in the land of Egypt, shall come; and they will worship Yahweh in the holy mountain at Jerusalem.
