45:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ כֹּה ־אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָה֮ לִמְשִׁיחוֹ֮ לְכ֣וֹרֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר ־הֶחֱזַ֣קְתִּי בִימִינ֗וֹ לְרַד ־לְפָנָיו֙ גּוֹיִ֔ם וּמׇתְנֵ֥י מְלָכִ֖ים אֲפַתֵּ֑חַ לִפְתֹּ֤חַ לְפָנָיו֙ דְּלָתַ֔יִם וּשְׁעָרִ֖ים לֹ֥א יִסָּגֵֽרוּ ׃
οὕτως λέγει κύριος ὁ θεὸς τῷ χριστῷ μου Κύρῳ οὗ ἐκράτησα τῆς δεξιᾶς ἐπακοῦσαι ἔμπροσθεν αὐτοῦ ἔθνη καὶ ἰσχὺν βασιλέων διαρρήξω ἀνοίξω ἔμπροσθεν αὐτοῦ θύρας καὶ πόλεις οὐ συγκλεισθήσονται
Haec dicit Dominus christo meo Cyro , cujus apprehendi dexteram , ut subjiciam ante faciem ejus gentes , et dorsa regum vertam , et aperiam coram eo januas , et portae non claudentur :
ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክ ፡ ለመሢሕየ ፡ ቂሮስ ፡ ዘአኀዝክዎ ፡ በእዴየ ፡ ከመ ፡ አግርሮሙ ፡ ለአሕዛብ ፡ በቅድሜሁ ፡ ወእነፅኅ ፡ ኃይለ ፡ ነገሥት ፤ ወአርኁ ፡ አናቅጸ ፡ በቅድሜሁ ፡ ወኢይትዐጸዋ ፡ አህጉር ።
Yahweh says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held to subdue nations before him and strip kings of their armor, to open the doors before him, and the gates shall not be shut:
45:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֲנִי֙ לְפָנֶ֣יךָ אֵלֵ֔ךְ וַהֲדוּרִ֖ים (אושר ) [אֲיַשֵּׁ֑ר ] דַּלְת֤וֹת נְחוּשָׁה֙ אֲשַׁבֵּ֔ר וּבְרִיחֵ֥י בַרְזֶ֖ל אֲגַדֵּֽעַ ׃
ἐγὼ ἔμπροσθέν σου πορεύσομαι καὶ ὄρη ὁμαλιῶ θύρας χαλκᾶς συντρίψω καὶ μοχλοὺς σιδηροῦς συγκλάσω
Ego ante te ibo , et gloriosos terrae humiliabo ; portas aereas conteram , et vectes ferreos confringam :
አነ ፡ አሐውር ፡ ፍጽመ ፡ ቅድሜከ ፡ ወአቴሕቶሙ ፡ ለአድባር ፣፡ ወእሰብር ፡ አናቅጸ ፡ ብርት ፡ ወእቅጠቅጥ ፡ መናሥግተ ፡ ኀፂን ።
“I will go before you and make the rough places smooth. I will break the doors of bronze in pieces and cut apart the bars of iron.
45:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְנָתַתִּ֤י לְךָ֙ אוֹצְר֣וֹת חֹ֔שֶׁךְ וּמַטְמֻנֵ֖י מִסְתָּרִ֑ים לְמַ֣עַן תֵּדַ֗ע כִּֽי ־אֲנִ֧י יְהֹוָ֛ה הַקּוֹרֵ֥א בְשִׁמְךָ֖ אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ δώσω σοι θησαυροὺς σκοτεινούς ἀποκρύφους ἀοράτους ἀνοίξω σοι ἵνα γνῷς ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὁ καλῶν τὸ ὄνομά σου θεὸς Ισραηλ
et dabo tibi thesauros absconditos , et arcana secretorum , ut scias quia ego Dominus , qui voco nomen tuum , Deus Israël ,
ወእሁበከ ፡ መዛግብተ ፡ ኅቡአ ፡ ወክቡተ ፤ ዘኢያስተርኢ ፡ እከሥት ፡ ለከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ታእምር ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ዘሰመይኩ ፡ ስመከ ፣፡ አምላከ ፡ እስራኤል ።
I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that it is I, Yahweh, who calls you by your name, even the God of Israel.
45:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ לְמַ֙עַן֙ עַבְדִּ֣י יַעֲקֹ֔ב וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בְּחִירִ֑י וָאֶקְרָ֤א לְךָ֙ בִּשְׁמֶ֔ךָ אֲכַנְּךָ֖ וְלֹ֥א יְדַעְתָּֽנִי ׃
ἕνεκεν Ιακωβ τοῦ παιδός μου καὶ Ισραηλ τοῦ ἐκλεκτοῦ μου ἐγὼ καλέσω σε τῷ ὀνόματί σου καὶ προσδέξομαί σε σὺ δὲ οὐκ ἔγνως με
propter servum meum Jacob , et Israël , electum meum ; et vocavi te nomine tuo : assimilavi te , et non cognovisti me .
በእንተ ፡ ቍልዔየ ፡ ያዕቆብ ፡ ወእስራኤልኒ ፡ ኅሩይየ ፣፡ አነ ፡ እጼውዐከ ፡ በስምከ ፡ ወእትዌከፈከ ።
For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel my chosen, I have called you by your name. I have given you a title, though you have not known me.
45:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֲנִ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ וְאֵ֣ין ע֔וֹד זוּלָתִ֖י אֵ֣ין אֱלֹהִ֑ים אֲאַזֶּרְךָ֖ וְלֹ֥א יְדַעְתָּֽנִי ׃
ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεός καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἔτι πλὴν ἐμοῦ θεός καὶ οὐκ ᾔδεις με
Ego Dominus , et non est amplius ; extra me non est deus ; accinxi te , et non cognovisti me :
ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ባዕድ ፡ አምላክ ፡ ዘእንበሌየ ።
I am Yahweh, and there is no one else. Besides me, there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not known me,
45:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ לְמַ֣עַן יֵדְע֗וּ מִמִּזְרַח ־שֶׁ֙מֶשׁ֙ וּמִמַּ֣עֲרָבָ֔הֿ כִּי ־אֶ֖פֶס בִּלְעָדָ֑י אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה וְאֵ֥ין עֽוֹד ׃
ἵνα γνῶσιν οἱ ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν ἡλίου καὶ οἱ ἀπὸ δυσμῶν ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν πλὴν ἐμοῦ ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεός καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἔτι
ut sciant hi qui ab ortu solis et qui ab occidente , quoniam absque me non est : ego Dominus , et non est alter :
ከመ ፡ ያእምሩ ፡ እለ ፡ እምሥራቀ ፡ ፀሐይ ፡ ወእለሂ ፡ እምዕራብ ፡ ከመ ፡ አልቦ ፡ ባዕድ ፡ አምላክ ፡ ዘእንበሌየ ።
that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is no one besides me. I am Yahweh, and there is no one else.
45:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ יוֹצֵ֥ר אוֹר֙ וּבוֹרֵ֣א חֹ֔שֶׁךְ עֹשֶׂ֥ה שָׁל֖וֹם וּב֣וֹרֵא רָ֑ע אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה עֹשֶׂ֥ה כׇל ־אֵֽלֶּה ׃ {פ}
ἐγὼ ὁ κατασκευάσας φῶς καὶ ποιήσας σκότος ὁ ποιῶν εἰρήνην καὶ κτίζων κακά ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὁ ποιῶν ταῦτα πάντα
formans lucem et creans tenebras , faciens pacem et creans malum : ego Dominus faciens omnia haec .
አነ ፡ ፈጠርኩ ፡ ብርሃነ ፡ ወገብርኩ ፡ ጽልመተ ፤ አነ ፡ እፈጥር ፡ ሰላመ ፡ ወአመጽእ ፡ እኪተ ።
I form the light and create darkness. I make peace and create calamity. I am Yahweh, who does all these things.
45:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ הַרְעִ֤יפוּ שָׁמַ֙יִם֙ מִמַּ֔עַל וּשְׁחָקִ֖ים יִזְּלוּ ־צֶ֑דֶק תִּפְתַּח ־אֶ֣רֶץ וְיִפְרוּ ־יֶ֗שַׁע וּצְדָקָ֤ה תַצְמִ֙יחַ֙ יַ֔חַד אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה בְּרָאתִֽיו ׃ {ס}
εὐφρανθήτω ὁ οὐρανὸς ἄνωθεν καὶ αἱ νεφέλαι ῥανάτωσαν δικαιοσύνην ἀνατειλάτω ἡ γῆ ἔλεος καὶ δικαιοσύνην ἀνατειλάτω ἅμα ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ κτίσας σε
Rorate , caeli , desuper , et nubes pluant justum ; aperiatur terra , et germinet Salvatorem , et justitia oriatur simul : ego Dominus creavi eum .
ትትፌሣሕ ፡ ሰማይ ፡ በላዕሉ ፡ ወይነሰንሳ ፡ ጽድቀ ፡ ደመናት ፣፡ ወታበቍል ፡ ምድር ፡ ወታበቍል ፡ ሣህለ ፡ ወርቱዐ ፡ ኅቡረ ፤ አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክ ፡ ዘፈጠርኩከ ።
Rain, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness. Let the earth open, that it may produce salvation, and let it cause righteousness to spring up with it. I, Yahweh, have created it.
45:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ ה֗וֹי רָ֚ב אֶת ־יֹ֣צְר֔וֹ חֶ֖רֶשׂ אֶת ־חַרְשֵׂ֣י אֲדָמָ֑ה הֲיֹאמַ֨ר חֹ֤מֶר לְיֹֽצְרוֹ֙ מַֽה ־תַּעֲשֶׂ֔ה וּפׇעׇלְךָ֖ אֵין ־יָדַ֥יִם לֽוֹ ׃ {ס}
ποῖον βέλτιον κατεσκεύασα ὡς πηλὸν κεραμέως μὴ ὁ ἀροτριῶν ἀροτριάσει τὴν γῆν ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν μὴ ἐρεῖ ὁ πηλὸς τῷ κεραμεῖ τί ποιεῖς ὅτι οὐκ ἐργάζῃ οὐδὲ ἔχεις χεῖρας
Vae qui contradicit fictori suo , testa de samiis terrae ! Numquid dicet lutum figulo suo : Quid facis , et opus tuum absque manibus est ?
ወአኅየስኩከ ፡ ወገበርኩከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ጽቡረ ፡ ለብሐዊ ፤ ቦኑ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ አሚረ ፡ የሐርስ ፡ ዘየሐርስ ፡ ምድረ ፤ ቦኑ ፡ ዘይብሎ ፡ ጽቡር ፡ ለለብሐዊ ፤ ምንተ ፡ ትገብር ፡ እስመ ፡ ኢትክል ፡ ገቢረ ፡ ወአልብከ ፡ እደወ ፤ ይትዋሥኦኑ ፡ ጽቡር ፡ ለለሐኲሁ ።
Woe to him who strives with his Maker— a clay pot among the clay pots of the earth! Shall the clay ask him who fashions it, ‘What are you making?’ or your work, ‘He has no hands’?
45:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ ה֛וֹי אֹמֵ֥ר לְאָ֖ב מַה ־תּוֹלִ֑יד וּלְאִשָּׁ֖ה מַה ־תְּחִילִֽין ׃ {ס}
ὁ λέγων τῷ πατρί τί γεννήσεις καὶ τῇ μητρί τί ὠδινήσεις
Vae qui dicit patri : Quid generas ? et mulieri : Quid parturis ?
አሌሎ ፡ ለዘይብሎ ፡ ለአቡሁ ፤ ምንተ ፡ ወለድከኒ ፤ ወለእሙኒ ፤ ምንትኑመ ፡ ማሕምምኪ ።
Woe to him who says to a father, ‘What have you become the father of?’ or to a mother, ‘What have you given birth to?’”
45:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ כֹּה ־אָמַ֧ר יְהֹוָ֛ה קְד֥וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וְיֹצְר֑וֹ הָאֹתִיּ֣וֹת שְׁאָל֔וּנִי עַל ־בָּנַ֛י וְעַל ־פֹּ֥עַל יָדַ֖י תְּצַוֻּֽנִי ׃
ὅτι οὕτως λέγει κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὁ ἅγιος Ισραηλ ὁ ποιήσας τὰ ἐπερχόμενα ἐρωτήσατέ με περὶ τῶν υἱῶν μου καὶ περὶ τῶν θυγατέρων μου καὶ περὶ τῶν ἔργων τῶν χειρῶν μου ἐντείλασθέ μοι
Haec dicit Dominus , Sanctus Israël , plastes ejus : Ventura interrogate me ; super filios meos et super opus manuum mearum mandate mihi .
እስመ ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክ ፣፡ ቅዱሰ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ዘገብረ ፡ ዘይመጽእ ፤ ተሰአሉኒ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ደቂቅየ ፡ ወአዋልድየ ፣፡ ወበእንተ ፡ ግብረ ፡ እደውየ ፡ አዝዙኒ ።
Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel and his Maker says: “You ask me about the things that are to come, concerning my sons, and you command me concerning the work of my hands!
45:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ אָֽנֹכִי֙ עָשִׂ֣יתִי אֶ֔רֶץ וְאָדָ֖ם עָלֶ֣יהָ בָרָ֑אתִי אֲנִ֗י יָדַי֙ נָט֣וּ שָׁמַ֔יִם וְכׇל ־צְבָאָ֖ם צִוֵּֽיתִי ׃
ἐγὼ ἐποίησα γῆν καὶ ἄνθρωπον ἐπ’ αὐτῆς ἐγὼ τῇ χειρί μου ἐστερέωσα τὸν οὐρανόν ἐγὼ πᾶσι τοῖς ἄστροις ἐνετειλάμην
Ego feci terram , et hominem super eam creavi ego : manus meae tetenderunt caelos , et omni militiae eorum mandavi .
አነ ፡ ፈጠርክዋ ፡ ለምድር ፡ ወሰብአ ፡ ዲቤሃ ፤ አነ ፡ በእዴየ ፡ አጽናዕክዎ ፡ ለሰማይ ፤ አነ ፡ አዘዝክዎሙ ፡ ለኵሎሙ ፡ ከዋክብት ።
I have made the earth, and created man on it. I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens. I have commanded all their army.
45:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ אָֽנֹכִי֙ הַעִירֹתִ֣הֽוּ בְצֶ֔דֶק וְכׇל ־דְּרָכָ֖יו אֲיַשֵּׁ֑ר הֽוּא ־יִבְנֶ֤ה עִירִי֙ וְגָלוּתִ֣י יְשַׁלֵּ֔חַ לֹ֤א בִמְחִיר֙ וְלֹ֣א בְשֹׁ֔חַד אָמַ֖ר יְהֹוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת ׃ {ס}
ἐγὼ ἤγειρα αὐτὸν μετὰ δικαιοσύνης βασιλέα καὶ πᾶσαι αἱ ὁδοὶ αὐτοῦ εὐθεῖαι οὗτος οἰκοδομήσει τὴν πόλιν μου καὶ τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν τοῦ λαοῦ μου ἐπιστρέψει οὐ μετὰ λύτρων οὐδὲ μετὰ δώρων εἶπεν κύριος σαβαωθ
Ego suscitavi eum ad justitiam , et omnes vias ejus dirigam ; ipse aedificabit civitatem meam , et captivitatem meam dimittet , non in pretio neque in muneribus , dicit Dominus Deus exercituum .
ወአነ ፡ አንሣእክዎ ፡ በጽድቅ ፡ ወበርትዕ ፡ ወሠራኅኩ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ፍኖቶ ፤ ወውእቱ ፡ የሐንጽ ፡ ሀገርየ ፡ ወይመይጥ ፡ ፄዋ ፡ ሕዝብየ ፣፡ አኮ ፡ በቤዛ ፡ ወአኮ ፡ በሕልያን ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ጸባኦት ።
I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will make all his ways straight. He shall build my city, and he shall let my exiles go free, not for price nor reward,” says Yahweh of Armies.
45:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ כֹּ֣ה ׀ אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֗ה יְגִ֨יעַ מִצְרַ֥יִם וּֽסְחַר ־כּוּשׁ֮ וּסְבָאִים֮ אַנְשֵׁ֣י מִדָּה֒ עָלַ֤יִךְ יַעֲבֹ֙רוּ֙ וְלָ֣ךְ יִֽהְי֔וּ אַחֲרַ֣יִךְ יֵלֵ֔כוּ בַּזִּקִּ֖ים יַעֲבֹ֑רוּ וְאֵלַ֤יִךְ יִֽשְׁתַּחֲווּ֙ אֵלַ֣יִךְ יִתְפַּלָּ֔לוּ אַ֣ךְ בָּ֥ךְ אֵ֛ל וְאֵ֥ין ע֖וֹד אֶ֥פֶס אֱלֹהִֽים ׃
οὕτως λέγει κύριος σαβαωθ ἐκοπίασεν Αἴγυπτος καὶ ἐμπορία Αἰθιόπων καὶ οἱ Σεβωιν ἄνδρες ὑψηλοὶ ἐπὶ σὲ διαβήσονται καὶ σοὶ ἔσονται δοῦλοι καὶ ὀπίσω σου ἀκολουθήσουσιν δεδεμένοι χειροπέδαις καὶ προσκυνήσουσίν σοι καὶ ἐν σοὶ προσεύξονται ὅτι ἐν σοὶ ὁ θεός ἐστιν καὶ ἐροῦσιν οὐκ ἔστιν θεὸς πλὴν σοῦ
Haec dicit Dominus : Labor Aegypti , et negotiatio Aethiopiae , et Sabaim viri sublimes ad te transibunt , et tui erunt ; post te ambulabunt , vincti manicis pergent , et te adorabunt , teque deprecabuntur . Tantum in te est Deus , et non est absque te deus .
ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ጸባኦት ፤ ሰርሑ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ወአህጉረ ፡ ኢትዮጵያ ፣፡ ወሰብአ ፡ ሳባዕ ፡ ዕደው ፡ ነዋኅት ፡ ይመጽኡ ፡ ኀቤከ ፣፡ ወይትቀነዩ ፡ ለከ ፡ ወይተልዉ ፡ ድኅሬከ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ሙቁሓን ፡ እደዊሆሙ ፣፡ ወይሰግዱ ፡ ለከ ፡ ወይጼልዩ ፡ ኀቤከ ፤ እስመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ምስሌከ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ባዕደ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ዘእንበሌከ ።
Yahweh says: “The labor of Egypt, and the merchandise of Ethiopia, and the Sabeans, men of stature, will come over to you, and they will be yours. They will go after you. They shall come over in chains. They will bow down to you. They will make supplication to you: ‘Surely God is in you; and there is no one else. There is no other god.
45:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ אָכֵ֕ן אַתָּ֖ה אֵ֣ל מִסְתַּתֵּ֑ר אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מוֹשִֽׁיעַ ׃
σὺ γὰρ εἶ θεός καὶ οὐκ ᾔδειμεν ὁ θεὸς τοῦ Ισραηλ σωτήρ
Vere tu es Deus absconditus , Deus Israël , salvator .
አንተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወኢያእመርናከ ፣፡ አምላከ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ማሕየዊ ።
Most certainly you are a God who has hidden yourself, God of Israel, the Savior.’”
45:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ בּ֥וֹשׁוּ וְגַֽם ־נִכְלְמ֖וּ כֻּלָּ֑ם יַחְדָּו֙ הָלְכ֣וּ בַכְּלִמָּ֔ה חָרָשֵׁ֖י צִירִֽים ׃
αἰσχυνθήσονται καὶ ἐντραπήσονται πάντες οἱ ἀντικείμενοι αὐτῷ καὶ πορεύσονται ἐν αἰσχύνῃ ἐγκαινίζεσθε πρός με νῆσοι
Confusi sunt , et erubuerunt omnes : simul abierunt in confusionem fabricatores errorum .
ለይትኀፈሩ ፡ ወይኀሠሩ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይትቃወምዎ ፡ ወይሖሩ ፡ ተኀፊሮሙ ።
They will be disappointed, yes, confounded, all of them. Those who are makers of idols will go into confusion together.
45:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ נוֹשַׁ֣ע בַּֽיהֹוָ֔ה תְּשׁוּעַ֖ת עוֹלָמִ֑ים לֹא ־תֵבֹ֥שׁוּ וְלֹא ־תִכָּלְמ֖וּ עַד ־ע֥וֹלְמֵי עַֽד ׃ {פ}
Ισραηλ σῴζεται ὑπὸ κυρίου σωτηρίαν αἰώνιον οὐκ αἰσχυνθήσονται οὐδὲ μὴ ἐντραπῶσιν ἕως τοῦ αἰῶνος
Israël salvatus est in Domino salute aeterna ; non confundemini , et non erubescetis usque in saeculum saeculi .
እስመ ፡ ያድኅኖ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለእስራኤል ፡ መድኃኒተ ፡ ዘለዓለም ፤ ኢይትኀፈሩ ፡ ወኢየኀሥሩ ፡ እስከ ፡ ለዓለም ።
Israel will be saved by Yahweh with an everlasting salvation. You will not be disappointed nor confounded to ages everlasting.
45:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּ֣י כֹ֣ה אָֽמַר ־יְ֠הֹוָ֠ה בּוֹרֵ֨א הַשָּׁמַ֜יִם ה֣וּא הָאֱלֹהִ֗ים יֹצֵ֨ר הָאָ֤רֶץ וְעֹשָׂהּ֙ ה֣וּא כֽוֹנְנָ֔הּ לֹא ־תֹ֥הוּ בְרָאָ֖הּ לָשֶׁ֣בֶת יְצָרָ֑הּ אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה וְאֵ֥ין עֽוֹד ׃
οὕτως λέγει κύριος ὁ ποιήσας τὸν οὐρανόν οὗτος ὁ θεὸς ὁ καταδείξας τὴν γῆν καὶ ποιήσας αὐτήν αὐτὸς διώρισεν αὐτήν οὐκ εἰς κενὸν ἐποίησεν αὐτὴν ἀλλὰ κατοικεῖσθαι ἐγώ εἰμι καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἔτι
Quia haec dicit Dominus creans caelos , ipse Deus formans terram et faciens eam , ipse plastes ejus ; non in vanum creavit eam : ut habitaretur formavit eam : Ego Dominus , et non est alius .
ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ዘገብረ ፡ ሰማየ ፣፡ ውእቱኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ዘአርአያ ፡ ለምድር ፡ ወገብራ ፡ ወውእቱ ፡ ሠጠቃ ፤ አኮ ፡ ለከንቱ ፡ ዘገብራ ፣፡ ዳእሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይንበሩ ፡ ውስቴታ ፡ ፈጠራ ።
For Yahweh who created the heavens, the God who formed the earth and made it, who established it and didn’t create it a waste, who formed it to be inhabited says: “I am Yahweh. There is no other.
45:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ לֹ֧א בַסֵּ֣תֶר דִּבַּ֗רְתִּי בִּמְקוֹם֙ אֶ֣רֶץ חֹ֔שֶׁךְ לֹ֥א אָמַ֛רְתִּי לְזֶ֥רַע יַעֲקֹ֖ב תֹּ֣הוּ בַקְּשׁ֑וּנִי אֲנִ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ דֹּבֵ֣ר צֶ֔דֶק מַגִּ֖יד מֵישָׁרִֽים ׃
οὐκ ἐν κρυφῇ λελάληκα οὐδὲ ἐν τόπῳ γῆς σκοτεινῷ οὐκ εἶπα τῷ σπέρματι Ιακωβ μάταιον ζητήσατε ἐγώ εἰμι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος λαλῶν δικαιοσύνην καὶ ἀναγγέλλων ἀλήθειαν
Non in abscondito locutus sum , in loco terrae tenebroso ; non dixi semini Jacob frustra : Quaerite me : ego Dominus loquens justitiam , annuntians recta .
አኮ ፡ ጽምሚተ ፡ ዘተናገርኩ ፡ ወአኮ ፡ በብሔረ ፡ ጽልመት ፡ ዘነበብኩ ።
I have not spoken in secret, in a place of the land of darkness. I didn’t say to the offspring of Jacob, ‘Seek me in vain.’ I, Yahweh, speak righteousness. I declare things that are right.
45:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ הִקָּבְצ֥וּ וָבֹ֛אוּ הִֽתְנַגְּשׁ֥וּ יַחְדָּ֖ו פְּלִיטֵ֣י הַגּוֹיִ֑ם לֹ֣א יָדְע֗וּ הַנֹּֽשְׂאִים֙ אֶת ־עֵ֣ץ פִּסְלָ֔ם וּמִֽתְפַּלְלִ֔ים אֶל ־אֵ֖ל לֹ֥א יוֹשִֽׁיעַ ׃
συνάχθητε καὶ ἥκετε βουλεύσασθε ἅμα οἱ σῳζόμενοι ἀπὸ τῶν ἐθνῶν οὐκ ἔγνωσαν οἱ αἴροντες τὸ ξύλον γλύμμα αὐτῶν καὶ προσευχόμενοι ὡς πρὸς θεούς οἳ οὐ σῴζουσιν
Congregamini , et venite , et accedite simul qui salvati estis ex gentibus : nescierunt qui levant lignum sculpturae suae , et rogant deum non salvantem .
ተጋብኡ ፡ ወንዑ ፡ ወተማከሩ ፡ ኅቡረ ፡ እለ ፡ ድኅንክሙ ፡ እምአሕዛብ ።
“Assemble yourselves and come. Draw near together, you who have escaped from the nations. Those have no knowledge who carry the wood of their engraved image, and pray to a god that can’t save.
45:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ הַגִּ֣ידוּ וְהַגִּ֔ישׁוּ אַ֥ף יִֽוָּעֲצ֖וּ יַחְדָּ֑ו מִ֣י הִשְׁמִ֩יעַ֩ זֹ֨את מִקֶּ֜דֶם מֵאָ֣ז הִגִּידָ֗הּ הֲל֨וֹא אֲנִ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ וְאֵֽין ־ע֤וֹד אֱלֹהִים֙ מִבַּלְעָדַ֔י אֵל ־צַדִּ֣יק וּמוֹשִׁ֔יעַ אַ֖יִן זוּלָתִֽי ׃
εἰ ἀναγγελοῦσιν ἐγγισάτωσαν ἵνα γνῶσιν ἅμα τίς ἀκουστὰ ἐποίησεν ταῦτα ἀπ’ ἀρχῆς τότε ἀνηγγέλη ὑμῖν ἐγὼ ὁ θεός καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἄλλος πλὴν ἐμοῦ δίκαιος καὶ σωτὴρ οὐκ ἔστιν πάρεξ ἐμοῦ
Annuntiate , et venite , et consiliamini simul . Quis auditum fecit hoc ab initio , ex tunc praedixit illud ? numquid non ego Dominus , et non est ultra deus absque me ? Deus justus , et salvans non est praeter me .
ወእመሰ ፡ ይነግሩ ፡ ይቅረቡ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያእምሩ ፡ ኅቡረ ፡ መኑ ፡ ዘገብረ ፡ ዘንተ ፡ ስምዐ ፡ እምትካት ፤ ቦሁ ፡ አመ ፡ ነገሩክሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ባዕደ ፡ ዘእንበሌየ ፤ ጻድቅ ፡ ወማሕየዊ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ እንተ ፡ ከማየ ።
Declare and present it. Yes, let them take counsel together. Who has shown this from ancient time? Who has declared it of old? Haven’t I, Yahweh? There is no other God besides me, a just God and a Savior. There is no one besides me.
45:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ פְּנוּ ־אֵלַ֥י וְהִוָּשְׁע֖וּ כׇּל ־אַפְסֵי ־אָ֑רֶץ כִּ֥י אֲנִי ־אֵ֖ל וְאֵ֥ין עֽוֹד ׃
ἐπιστράφητε πρός με καὶ σωθήσεσθε οἱ ἀπ’ ἐσχάτου τῆς γῆς ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ θεός καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἄλλος
Convertimini ad me , et salvi eritis , omnes fines terrae , quia ego Deus , et non est alius .
ተመየጡ ፡ ኀቤየ ፡ ወተሐይዉ ፡ እለ ፡ እምአጽናፈ ፡ ምድር ።
“Look to me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.
45:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ בִּ֣י נִשְׁבַּ֔עְתִּי יָצָ֨א מִפִּ֧י צְדָקָ֛ה דָּבָ֖ר וְלֹ֣א יָשׁ֑וּב כִּי ־לִי֙ תִּכְרַ֣ע כׇּל ־בֶּ֔רֶךְ תִּשָּׁבַ֖ע כׇּל ־לָשֽׁוֹן ׃
κατ’ ἐμαυτοῦ ὀμνύω ἦ μὴν ἐξελεύσεται ἐκ τοῦ στόματός μου δικαιοσύνη οἱ λόγοι μου οὐκ ἀποστραφήσονται ὅτι ἐμοὶ κάμψει πᾶν γόνυ καὶ ἐξομολογήσεται πᾶσα γλῶσσα τῷ θεῷ
In memetipso juravi ; egredietur de ore meo justitiae verbum , et non revertetur : quia mihi curvabitur omne genu , et jurabit omnis lingua .
መሐልኩ ፡ በርእስየ ፤ ኢይትመየጥ ፡ ቃልየ ፡ ዘወፅአ ፡ እምአፉየ ።
I have sworn by myself. The word has gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and will not be revoked, that to me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall take an oath.
45:24 ⧉ ⤴︎ אַ֧ךְ בַּיהֹוָ֛ה לִ֥י אָמַ֖ר צְדָק֣וֹת וָעֹ֑ז עָדָיו֙ יָב֣וֹא וְיֵבֹ֔שׁוּ כֹּ֖ל הַנֶּחֱרִ֥ים בּֽוֹ ׃
λέγων δικαιοσύνη καὶ δόξα πρὸς αὐτὸν ἥξουσιν καὶ αἰσχυνθήσονται πάντες οἱ ἀφορίζοντες ἑαυτούς
Ergo in Domino , dicet , meae sunt justitiae et imperium ; ad eum venient , et confundentur omnes qui repugnant ei .
እስመ ፡ ሊተ ፡ ይሰግድ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ብርክ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ልሳን ፡ ይገኒ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ።
They will say of me, ‘There is righteousness and strength only in Yahweh.’” Even to him will men come. All those who raged against him will be disappointed.
45:25 ⧉ ⤴︎ בַּיהֹוָ֛ה יִצְדְּק֥וּ וְיִֽתְהַלְל֖וּ כׇּל ־זֶ֥רַע יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
ἀπὸ κυρίου δικαιωθήσονται καὶ ἐν τῷ θεῷ ἐνδοξασθήσονται πᾶν τὸ σπέρμα τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ
In Domino justificabitur , et laudabitur omne semen Israël .
ወይብል ፤ ስብሐት ፡ ወጽድቅ ፡ ኀቤሁ ፡ ይምጽኡ ፣፡ ወይትኀፈሩ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይትረኃቁ ፡ እምእግዚአብሔር ።
All the offspring of Israel will be justified in Yahweh, and will rejoice!
45:26 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — — ይሴባሕ ፡ ወይጸድቅ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘርአ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ በእግዚአብሔር ።
All the offspring of Israel will be justified in Yahweh, and will rejoice!
