46:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ כָּרַ֥ע בֵּל֙ קֹרֵ֣ס נְב֔וֹ הָיוּ֙ עֲצַבֵּיהֶ֔ם לַחַיָּ֖ה וְלַבְּהֵמָ֑ה נְשֻׂאֹתֵיכֶ֣ם עֲמוּס֔וֹת מַשָּׂ֖א לַעֲיֵפָֽה ׃
ἔπεσε Βηλ συνετρίβη Δαγων ἐγένετο τὰ γλυπτὰ αὐτῶν εἰς θηρία καὶ κτήνη αἴρετε αὐτὰ καταδεδεμένα ὡς φορτίον κοπιῶντι
Confractus est Bel , contritus est Nabo ; facta sunt simulacra eorum bestiis et jumentis , onera vestra gravi pondere usque ad lassitudinem .
ወድቀ ፡ ቤል ፡ ወተቀጥቀጠ ፡ ዳጎን ፡ ወኮነ ፡ ግልፎሆሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ እንስሳ ፡ ወአራዊት ፤ አንሥእዎሙ ፡ እስመ ፡ እሱራን ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ ከመ ፡ ጾረ ፡ ኵስሕ ።
Bel bows down. Nebo stoops. Their idols are carried by animals, and on the livestock. The things that you carried around are heavy loads, a burden for the weary.
46:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ קָרְס֤וּ כָֽרְעוּ֙ יַחְדָּ֔ו לֹ֥א יָכְל֖וּ מַלֵּ֣ט מַשָּׂ֑א וְנַפְשָׁ֖ם בַּשְּׁבִ֥י הָלָֽכָה ׃ {פ}
καὶ πεινῶντι καὶ ἐκλελυμένῳ οὐκ ἰσχύοντι ἅμα οἳ οὐ δυνήσονται σωθῆναι ἀπὸ πολέμου αὐτοὶ δὲ αἰχμάλωτοι ἤχθησαν
Contabuerunt , et contrita sunt simul ; non potuerunt salvare portantem , et anima eorum in captivitatem ibit .
ወርኅቡ ፡ ወደክሙ ፡ ወአልቦሙ ፡ ኃይለ ፤ ወኢይክሉ ፡ አድኅኖ ፡ ነፍሶሙ ፡ እምቀትል ፡ ወለርእሶሙኒ ፡ ዓዲ ፡ ይፄውውዎሙ ።
They stoop and they bow down together. They could not deliver the burden, but they have gone into captivity.
46:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ שִׁמְע֤וּ אֵלַי֙ בֵּ֣ית יַעֲקֹ֔ב וְכׇל ־שְׁאֵרִ֖ית בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל הַֽעֲמֻסִים֙ מִנִּי ־בֶ֔טֶן הַנְּשֻׂאִ֖ים מִנִּי ־רָֽחַם ׃
ἀκούσατέ μου οἶκος τοῦ Ιακωβ καὶ πᾶν τὸ κατάλοιπον τοῦ Ισραηλ οἱ αἰρόμενοι ἐκ κοιλίας καὶ παιδευόμενοι ἐκ παιδίου
Audite me , domus Jacob , et omne residuum domus Israël ; qui portamini a meo utero , qui gestamini a mea vulva .
ስሙዑኒ ፡ ቤተ ፡ ያዕቆብ ፡ ወኵልክሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ተረፍክሙ ፡ እምእስራኤል ፣፡ እለ ፡ ይዜኀሩ ፡ እምንእሶሙ ፡ ወይትጌሠጹ ፡ እምከርሠ ፡ እሞሙ ።
“Listen to me, house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, that have been carried from their birth, that have been carried from the womb.
46:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעַד ־זִקְנָה֙ אֲנִ֣י ה֔וּא וְעַד ־שֵׂיבָ֖ה אֲנִ֣י אֶסְבֹּ֑ל אֲנִ֤י עָשִׂ֙יתִי֙ וַאֲנִ֣י אֶשָּׂ֔א וַאֲנִ֥י אֶסְבֹּ֖ל וַאֲמַלֵּֽט ׃ {ס}
ἕως γήρους ἐγώ εἰμι καὶ ἕως ἂν καταγηράσητε ἐγώ εἰμι ἐγὼ ἀνέχομαι ὑμῶν ἐγὼ ἐποίησα καὶ ἐγὼ ἀνήσω ἐγὼ ἀναλήμψομαι καὶ σώσω ὑμᾶς
Usque ad senectam ego ipse , et usque ad canos ego portabo ; ego feci , et ego feram ; ego portabo , et salvabo .
እስከ ፡ ይረሥኡ ።
Even to old age I am he, and even to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear. Yes, I will carry, and will deliver.
46:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ לְמִ֥י תְדַמְּי֖וּנִי וְתַשְׁו֑וּ וְתַמְשִׁל֖וּנִי וְנִדְמֶֽה ׃
τίνι με ὡμοιώσατε ἴδετε τεχνάσασθε οἱ πλανώμενοι
Cui assimilastis me , et adaequastis , et comparastis me , et fecistis similem ?
በመኑ ፡ እንከ ፡ ታስተማስሉኒ ፤ ርእዩ ፡ ወተኬነዉ ፡ ኵልክሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ትስሕቱ ።
“To whom will you compare me, and consider my equal, and compare me, as if we were the same?
46:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ הַזָּלִ֤ים זָהָב֙ מִכִּ֔יס וְכֶ֖סֶף בַּקָּנֶ֣ה יִשְׁקֹ֑לוּ יִשְׂכְּר֤וּ צוֹרֵף֙ וְיַעֲשֵׂ֣הוּ אֵ֔ל יִסְגְּד֖וּ אַף ־יִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֽוּ ׃
οἱ συμβαλλόμενοι χρυσίον ἐκ μαρσιππίου καὶ ἀργύριον ἐν ζυγῷ στήσουσιν ἐν σταθμῷ καὶ μισθωσάμενοι χρυσοχόον ἐποίησαν χειροποίητα καὶ κύψαντες προσκυνοῦσιν αὐτοῖς
Qui confertis aurum de sacculo , et argentum statera ponderatis , conducentes aurificem ut faciat deum , et procidunt , et adorant .
እለ ፡ ታወፅኡ ፡ ወርቀ ፡ ወብሩረ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ ቍናማቲክሙ ፡ ወትደልውዎ ፡ በመዳልው ፤ ወተዐስብዎ ፡ ለነሃቢ ፡ ወይገብር ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ግብረ ፡ እደ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ወትደንኑ ፡ ወትሰግዱ ፡ ሎሙ ።
Some pour out gold from the bag, and weigh silver in the balance. They hire a goldsmith, and he makes it a god. They fall down— yes, they worship.
46:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ יִ֠שָּׂאֻ֠הוּ עַל ־כָּתֵ֨ף יִסְבְּלֻ֜הוּ וְיַנִּיחֻ֤הוּ תַחְתָּיו֙ וְיַֽעֲמֹ֔ד מִמְּקוֹמ֖וֹ לֹ֣א יָמִ֑ישׁ אַף ־יִצְעַ֤ק אֵלָיו֙ וְלֹ֣א יַעֲנֶ֔ה מִצָּרָת֖וֹ לֹ֥א יוֹשִׁיעֶֽנּוּ ׃ {ס}
αἴρουσιν αὐτὸ ἐπὶ τῶν ὤμων καὶ πορεύονται ἐὰν δὲ θῶσιν αὐτό ἐπὶ τοῦ τόπου αὐτοῦ μένει οὐ μὴ κινηθῇ καὶ ὃς ἂν βοήσῃ πρὸς αὐτόν οὐ μὴ εἰσακούσῃ ἀπὸ κακῶν οὐ μὴ σώσῃ αὐτόν
Portant illum in humeris gestantes , et ponentes in loco suo , et stabit , ac de loco suo non movebitur : sed et cum clamaverint ad eum , non audiet ; de tribulatione non salvabit eos .
ወይሰከምዎ ፡ ዲበ ፡ መትከፍቶሙ ፡ ወየሐውሩ ፤ እምከመ ፡ አንበርዎ ፡ ኢይትሐወስ ፡ እንከ ፡ እምነ ፡ ምንባሩ ፤ ወእመኒ ፡ አውየዉ ፡ ኀቤሁ ፡ ኢይሰምዕ ፡ ወኢያድኅን ፡ ርእሶ ፡ እምእኩይ ።
They bear it on their shoulder. They carry it, and set it in its place, and it stands there. It cannot move from its place. Yes, one may cry to it, yet it can not answer. It cannot save him out of his trouble.
46:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ זִכְרוּ ־זֹ֖את וְהִתְאֹשָׁ֑שׁוּ הָשִׁ֥יבוּ פוֹשְׁעִ֖ים עַל ־לֵֽב ׃
μνήσθητε ταῦτα καὶ στενάξατε μετανοήσατε οἱ πεπλανημένοι ἐπιστρέψατε τῇ καρδίᾳ
Mementote istud , et confundamini ; redite , praevaricatores , ad cor .
ተዘከሩ ፡ ዘንተ ፡ ወብክዩ ፤ ወነስሑ ፡ እለ ፡ ስሕትክሙ ፤ ተመየጡ ፡ ወሚጡ ፡ ልበክሙ ።
“Remember this, and show yourselves men. Bring it to mind again, you transgressors.
46:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ זִכְר֥וּ רִאשֹׁנ֖וֹת מֵעוֹלָ֑ם כִּ֣י אָנֹכִ֥י אֵל֙ וְאֵ֣ין ע֔וֹד אֱלֹהִ֖ים וְאֶ֥פֶס כָּמֽוֹנִי ׃
καὶ μνήσθητε τὰ πρότερα ἀπὸ τοῦ αἰῶνος ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ θεός καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἔτι πλὴν ἐμοῦ
Recordamini prioris saeculi , quoniam ego sum Deus , et non est ultra deus , nec est similis mei .
ወተዘከሩ ፡ ዘእምትካት ፡ ወዘእምፍጥረተ ፡ ዓለም ፡ እስመ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ባዕደ ፡ ዘእንበሌየ ።
Remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other. I am God, and there is none like me.
46:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ מַגִּ֤יד מֵֽרֵאשִׁית֙ אַחֲרִ֔ית וּמִקֶּ֖דֶם אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹא ־נַֽעֲשׂ֑וּ אֹמֵר֙ עֲצָתִ֣י תָק֔וּם וְכׇל ־חֶפְצִ֖י אֶעֱשֶֽׂה ׃
ἀναγγέλλων πρότερον τὰ ἔσχατα πρὶν αὐτὰ γενέσθαι καὶ ἅμα συνετελέσθη καὶ εἶπα πᾶσά μου ἡ βουλὴ στήσεται καὶ πάντα ὅσα βεβούλευμαι ποιήσω
Annuntians ab exordio novissimum , et ab initio quae necdum facta sunt , dicens : Consilium meum stabit , et omnis voluntas mea fiet .
እዜኑ ፡ ዘትካት ፡ ወዘሂ ፡ ይከውን ፡ በደኃሪ ፡ ዘእንበለ ፡ ይኩን ፣፡ ወይከውን ፡ ሶቤሃ ።
I declare the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done. I say: My counsel will stand, and I will do all that I please.
46:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ קֹרֵ֤א מִמִּזְרָח֙ עַ֔יִט מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מֶרְחָ֖ק אִ֣ישׁ (עצתו ) [עֲצָתִ֑י ] אַף ־דִּבַּ֙רְתִּי֙ אַף ־אֲבִיאֶ֔נָּה יָצַ֖רְתִּי אַף ־אֶעֱשֶֽׂנָּה ׃ {ס}
καλῶν ἀπ’ ἀνατολῶν πετεινὸν καὶ ἀπὸ γῆς πόρρωθεν περὶ ὧν βεβούλευμαι ἐλάλησα καὶ ἤγαγον ἔκτισα καὶ ἐποίησα ἤγαγον αὐτὸν καὶ εὐόδωσα τὴν ὁδὸν αὐτοῦ
Vocans ab oriente avem , et de terra longinqua virum voluntatis meae : et locutus sum , et adducam illud ; creavi et faciam illud .
እጼውዓ ፡ ለዖፍ ፡ እምጽባሕ ፡ ወእምርኁቅ ፡ ብሔር ፡ በእንተ ፡ ዘመከርኩ ፤ ነበብኩ ፡ ወአምጻእኩ ፤ ፈጠርኩ ፡ ወገበርኩ ፡ አምጻእክዎ ፡ ወሠራኅኩ ፡ ፍኖቶ ።
I call a ravenous bird from the east, the man of my counsel from a far country. Yes, I have spoken. I will also bring it to pass. I have planned. I will also do it.
46:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ שִׁמְע֥וּ אֵלַ֖י אַבִּ֣ירֵי לֵ֑ב הָרְחוֹקִ֖ים מִצְּדָקָֽה ׃
ἀκούσατέ μου οἱ ἀπολωλεκότες τὴν καρδίαν οἱ μακρὰν ἀπὸ τῆς δικαιοσύνης
Audite me , duro corde , qui longe estis a justitia .
ስምዑኒ ፡ እለ ፡ ሐጐልክሙ ፡ ልበክሙ ፣፡ እለ ፡ ትትረኃቁ ፡ እምነ ፡ ጽድቅ ።
Listen to me, you stubborn-hearted, who are far from righteousness!
46:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ קֵרַ֤בְתִּי צִדְקָתִי֙ לֹ֣א תִרְחָ֔ק וּתְשׁוּעָתִ֖י לֹ֣א תְאַחֵ֑ר וְנָתַתִּ֤י בְצִיּוֹן֙ תְּשׁוּעָ֔ה לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל תִּפְאַרְתִּֽי ׃ {ס}
ἤγγισα τὴν δικαιοσύνην μου καὶ τὴν σωτηρίαν τὴν παρ’ ἐμοῦ οὐ βραδυνῶ δέδωκα ἐν Σιων σωτηρίαν τῷ Ισραηλ εἰς δόξασμα
Prope feci justitiam meam , non elongabitur , et salus mea non morabitur . Dabo in Sion salutem , et in Israël gloriam meam .
አምጻእክዋ ፡ ለጽድቅየ ፣፡ ወኢያጐነዲ ፡ እንከ ፡ መድኃኒትየ ፡ ዘእምኀቤየ ።
I bring my righteousness near. It is not far off, and my salvation will not wait. I will grant salvation to Zion, my glory to Israel.
