19:1
כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֔ה הָלֹ֛ךְ וְקָנִ֥יתָ בַקְבֻּ֖ק יוֹצֵ֣ר חָ֑רֶשׂ וּמִזִּקְנֵ֣י הָעָ֔ם וּמִזִּקְנֵ֖י הַכֹּהֲנִֽים׃
τότε εἶπεν κύριος πρός με βάδισον καὶ κτῆσαι βῖκον πεπλασμένον ὀστράκινον καὶ ἄξεις ἀπὸ τῶν πρεσβυτέρων τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν πρεσβυτέρων τῶν ἱερέων
Haec dicit Dominus : Vade, et accipe lagunculam figuli testeam a senioribus populi et a senioribus sacerdotum,
ከመዝ፡ ይቤለኒ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ሐሁር፡ ተሣየጥ፡ ለከ፡ ቀሱተ፡ ልሕኵት፡ ግብረ፡ እደ፡ ለብሐዊ፡ ወንሥአ፡ እምውስተ፡ ረበናቶሙ፡ ለሕዝብ፡ ወእምረበናተ፡ ካህናት።
Thus said Yahweh, “Go, and buy a potter’s earthen container, and take some of the elders of the people and of the elders of the priests;
19:2
וְיָצָ֙אתָ֙ אֶל־גֵּ֣יא בֶן־הִנֹּ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֕ר פֶּ֖תַח שַׁ֣עַר (החרסות) [הַחַרְסִ֑ית] וְקָרָ֣אתָ שָּׁ֔ם אֶת־הַדְּבָרִ֖ים אֲשֶׁר־אֲדַבֵּ֥ר אֵלֶֽיךָ׃
καὶ ἐξελεύσῃ εἰς τὸ πολυάνδριον υἱῶν τῶν τέκνων αὐτῶν ὅ ἐστιν ἐπὶ τῶν προθύρων πύλης τῆς χαρσιθ καὶ ἀνάγνωθι ἐκεῖ πάντας τοὺς λόγους οὓς ἂν λαλήσω πρὸς σέ
et egredere ad vallem filii Ennom, quae est juxta introitum portae fictilis : et praedicabis ibi verba quae ego loquar ad te.
ወተሐውርውስተ፡ ቈላተ፡ ወልደ፡ ሔኖም፡ ዘኆኅተ፡ አንቀጸ፡ ኰረራሲ፡ ወአንብብ፡ ሎሙ፡ በህየ፡ ኵሎ፡ ነገረ፡ ዘነገርኩከ።
and go out to the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is by the entry of the gate Harsith, and proclaim there the words that I will tell you.
19:3
וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֙ שִׁמְע֣וּ דְבַר־יְהֹוָ֔ה מַלְכֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה וְיֹשְׁבֵ֖י יְרוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם כֹּֽה־אָמַר֩ יְהֹוָ֨ה צְבָא֜וֹת אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל הִנְנִ֨י מֵבִ֤יא רָעָה֙ עַל־הַמָּק֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר כׇּל־שֹׁמְעָ֖הּ תִּצַּ֥לְנָה אׇזְנָֽיו׃
καὶ ἐρεῖς αὐτοῖς ἀκούσατε τὸν λόγον κυρίου βασιλεῖς Ιουδα καὶ ἄνδρες Ιουδα καὶ οἱ κατοικοῦντες Ιερουσαλημ καὶ οἱ εἰσπορευόμενοι ἐν ταῖς πύλαις ταύταις τάδε λέγει κύριος ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπάγω ἐπὶ τὸν τόπον τοῦτον κακὰ ὥστε παντὸς ἀκούοντος αὐτὰ ἠχήσει ἀμφότερα τὰ ὦτα αὐτοῦ
Et dices : Audite verbum Domini, reges Juda, et habitatores Jerusalem. Haec dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israël : Ecce ego inducam afflictionem super locum istum, ita ut omnis qui audierit illam, tinniant aures ejus,
ወበሎሙ፡ ስምዑ፡ ቃለ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ነገሥተ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወእለ፡ ትነብሩ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አምላከ፡ እስራኤልናሁ፡ አመጽ፡ ላዕለ፡ ዝ፡ ብሔር፡ እኩየ፡ ከመ፡ ኵሉ፡ ዘሰምዖ፡ ይደነግፅ፡ ወየአኀዝ፡ እዘኒሁ።
Say, ‘Hear Yahweh’s word, kings of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel says, “Behold, I will bring evil on this place, which whoever hears, his ears will tingle.
19:4
יַ֣עַן׀ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עֲזָבֻ֗נִי וַֽיְנַכְּר֞וּ אֶת־הַמָּק֤וֹם הַזֶּה֙ וַיְקַטְּרוּ־בוֹ֙ לֵאלֹהִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֧ר לֹא־יְדָע֛וּם הֵ֥מָּה וַאֲבוֹתֵיהֶ֖ם וּמַלְכֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֑ה וּמָ֥לְא֛וּ אֶת־הַמָּק֥וֹם הַזֶּ֖ה דַּ֥ם נְקִיִּֽם׃
ἀνθ’ ὧν ἐγκατέλιπόν με καὶ ἀπηλλοτρίωσαν τὸν τόπον τοῦτον καὶ ἐθυμίασαν ἐν αὐτῷ θεοῖς ἀλλοτρίοις οἷς οὐκ ᾔδεισαν αὐτοὶ καὶ οἱ πατέρες αὐτῶν καὶ οἱ βασιλεῖς Ιουδα ἔπλησαν τὸν τόπον τοῦτον αἱμάτων ἀθῴων
eo quod dereliquerint me, et alienum fecerint locum istum, et libaverunt in eo diis alienis quos nescierunt, ipsi et patres eorum, et reges Juda : et repleverunt locum istum sanguine innocentum,
እስመ፡ ኀደጉኒ፡ ወተናከርዎ፡ ለዝ፡ ቤት፡ ወአጠኑ፡ በውስቴቱ፡ ለአማልክተ፡ ነኪር፡ ዘኢየአምርዎሙ፡ ኢእሙንቱ፡ ወኢአበዊሆሙ፡ ወነገሥተ፡ ይሁዳኒ፡ መልዕዎ፡ ለዝ፡ ቤት፡ ደመ፡ ጻድቃን።
Because they have forsaken me, and have defiled this place, and have burned incense in it to other gods that they didn’t know—they, their fathers, and the kings of Judah—and have filled this place with the blood of innocents,
19:5
וּבָנ֞וּ אֶת־בָּמ֣וֹת הַבַּ֗עַל לִשְׂרֹ֧ף אֶת־בְּנֵיהֶ֛ם בָּאֵ֖שׁ עֹל֣וֹת לַבָּ֑עַל אֲשֶׁ֤ר לֹֽא־צִוִּ֙יתִי֙ וְלֹ֣א דִבַּ֔רְתִּי וְלֹ֥א עָלְתָ֖ה עַל־לִבִּֽי׃ {פ}
καὶ ᾠκοδόμησαν ὑψηλὰ τῇ Βααλ τοῦ κατακαίειν τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτῶν ἐν πυρί ἃ οὐκ ἐνετειλάμην οὐδὲ ἐλάλησα οὐδὲ διενοήθην ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ μου
et aedificaverunt excelsa Baalim, ad comburendos filios suos igni in holocaustum Baalim : quae non praecepi, nec locutus sum, nec ascenderunt in cor meum.
ወሐነጹ፡ ምሥዋዐ፡ ለበዓል፡ ይሡዑ፡ ደቀቂቆሙ፡ በውስቴቱ፡ በእሳት፡ ዘኢአዘዝዎሙ፡ ወዘኢሐለይክዎ፡ በልብየ።
and have built the high places of Baal to burn their children in the fire for burnt offerings to Baal, which I didn’t command, nor speak, which didn’t even enter into my mind.
19:6
לָכֵ֞ן הִנֵּֽה־יָמִ֤ים בָּאִים֙ נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֔ה וְלֹא־יִקָּרֵא֩ לַמָּק֨וֹם הַזֶּ֥ה ע֛וֹד הַתֹּ֖פֶת וְגֵ֣יא בֶן־הִנֹּ֑ם כִּ֖י אִם־גֵּ֥יא הַהֲרֵגָֽה׃
διὰ τοῦτο ἰδοὺ ἡμέραι ἔρχονται λέγει κύριος καὶ οὐ κληθήσεται τῷ τόπῳ τούτῳ ἔτι διάπτωσις καὶ πολυάνδριον υἱοῦ Εννομ ἀλλ’ ἢ πολυάνδριον τῆς σφαγῆς
Propterea ecce dies veniunt, dicit Dominus, et non vocabitur amplius locus iste Topheth, et vallis filii Ennom, sed vallis occisionis.
በእንተ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ናሁ፡ ይመጽእ፡ መዋዕል፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወኢይሰመይ፡ እንከ፡ ዝ፡ ቤት፡ ጣፌጥ፡ ወቈላተ፡ ወልደ፡ ሄኖም፡ ዘእንበለ፡ ቈላተ፡ ቅቱላን።
Therefore, behold, the days come,” says Yahweh, “that this place will no more be called ‘Topheth’, nor ‘The Valley of the son of Hinnom’, but ‘The valley of Slaughter’.
19:7
וּ֠בַקֹּתִ֠י אֶת־עֲצַ֨ת יְהוּדָ֤ה וִירוּשָׁלַ֙͏ִם֙ בַּמָּק֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה וְהִפַּלְתִּ֤ים בַּחֶ֙רֶב֙ לִפְנֵ֣י אֹֽיְבֵיהֶ֔ם וּבְיַ֖ד מְבַקְשֵׁ֣י נַפְשָׁ֑ם וְנָתַתִּ֤י אֶת־נִבְלָתָם֙ לְמַֽאֲכָ֔ל לְע֥וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם וּלְבֶהֱמַ֥ת הָאָֽרֶץ׃
καὶ σφάξω τὴν βουλὴν Ιουδα καὶ τὴν βουλὴν Ιερουσαλημ ἐν τῷ τόπῳ τούτῳ καὶ καταβαλῶ αὐτοὺς ἐν μαχαίρᾳ ἐναντίον τῶν ἐχθρῶν αὐτῶν καὶ ἐν χερσὶν τῶν ζητούντων τὰς ψυχὰς αὐτῶν καὶ δώσω τοὺς νεκροὺς αὐτῶν εἰς βρῶσιν τοῖς πετεινοῖς τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ τοῖς θηρίοις τῆς γῆς
Et dissipabo consilium Juda et Jerusalem in loco isto, et subvertam eos gladio in conspectu inimicorum suorum, et in manu quaerentium animas eorum : et dabo cadavera eorum escam volatilibus caeli et bestiis terrae.
ወእከፍል፡ ምክረ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወምክረ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ በዝ፡ መካን፡ ወእነጽሖሙ፡ በኲናት፡ በቅድመ፡ ፀሮሙ፡ ወበእደ፡ እለ፡ የኀሥሥዋ፡ ለነፍሶሙ፡ ወእሬሲ፡ አብንድቲሆሙ፡ መብልዓ፡ ለአዕዋፈ፡ ሳማይ፡ ወለአራዊተ፡ ገዳም።
“‘“I will make the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem void in this place. I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hand of those who seek their life. I will give their dead bodies to be food for the birds of the sky and for the animals of the earth.
19:8
וְשַׂמְתִּי֙ אֶת־הָעִ֣יר הַזֹּ֔את לְשַׁמָּ֖ה וְלִשְׁרֵקָ֑ה כֹּ֚ל עֹבֵ֣ר עָלֶ֔יהָ יִשֹּׁ֥ם וְיִשְׁרֹ֖ק עַל־כׇּל־מַכֹּתֶֽהָ׃
καὶ τάξω τὴν πόλιν ταύτην εἰς ἀφανισμὸν καὶ εἰς συριγμόν πᾶς ὁ παραπορευόμενος ἐπ’ αὐτῆς σκυθρωπάσει καὶ συριεῖ ὑπὲρ πάσης τῆς πληγῆς αὐτῆς
Et ponam civitatem hanc in stuporem, et in sibilum : omnis qui praeterierit per eam obstupescet, et sibilabit super universa plaga ejus.
ወእሬስያ፡ ለዛ፡ ሀገር፡ ከመ፡ ኵሉ፡ ዘኀለፈ፡ እንተ፡ ላዕሌሃ፡ ይትፋጸይ፡ ወይደነግፅ፡ በእንተ፡ ኵሉ፡ መቅሠፍታ።
I will make this city an astonishment and a hissing. Everyone who passes by it will be astonished and hiss because of all its plagues.
19:9
וְהַאֲכַלְתִּ֞ים אֶת־בְּשַׂ֣ר בְּנֵיהֶ֗ם וְאֵת֙ בְּשַׂ֣ר בְּנֹתֵיהֶ֔ם וְאִ֥ישׁ בְּשַׂר־רֵעֵ֖הוּ יֹאכֵ֑לוּ בְּמָצוֹר֙ וּבְמָצ֔וֹק אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָצִ֧יקוּ לָהֶ֛ם אֹיְבֵיהֶ֖ם וּמְבַקְשֵׁ֥י נַפְשָֽׁם׃
καὶ ἔδονται τὰς σάρκας τῶν υἱῶν αὐτῶν καὶ τὰς σάρκας τῶν θυγατέρων αὐτῶν καὶ ἕκαστος τὰς σάρκας τοῦ πλησίον αὐτοῦ ἔδονται ἐν τῇ περιοχῇ καὶ ἐν τῇ πολιορκίᾳ ᾗ πολιορκήσουσιν αὐτοὺς οἱ ἐχθροὶ αὐτῶν
Et cibabo eos carnibus filiorum suorum et carnibus filiarum suarum : et unusquisque carnem amici sui comedet in obsidione, et in angustia in qua concludent eos inimici eorum, et qui quaerunt animas eorum.
ወአበልዖሙ፡ ሥጋ፡ ደቂቆሙ፡ ወሥጋ፡ አዋልዲሆሙ፡ ወአሐዱ፡ አሐዱ፡ ይበልዕ፡ ሥጋ፡ ካልዑ፡ በምንዳቤ፡ አመ፡ ያመነድቦሙ፡ ጸሮሙ፡ ወአለ፡ የኀሥሥዋ፡ ለነፍሶሙ።
I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters. They will each eat the flesh of his friend in the siege and in the distress with which their enemies, and those who seek their life, will distress them.”’
19:10
וְשָׁבַרְתָּ֖ הַבַּקְבֻּ֑ק לְעֵינֵי֙ הָאֲנָשִׁ֔ים הַהֹלְכִ֖ים אוֹתָֽךְ׃
καὶ συντρίψεις τὸν βῖκον κατ’ ὀφθαλμοὺς τῶν ἀνδρῶν τῶν ἐκπορευομένων μετὰ σοῦ
Et conteres lagunculam in oculis virorum qui ibunt tecum,
ወትቀጠቅጣ፡ ለዛ፡ ቀሱት፡ በቅድመ፡ አዕይንቲሆሙ፡ ለዕደው፡ እለ፡ የሐውሩ፡ ምስሌከ።
“Then you shall break the container in the sight of the men who go with you,
19:11
וְאָמַרְתָּ֨ אֲלֵיהֶ֜ם כֹּה־אָמַ֣ר׀ יְהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֗וֹת כָּ֣כָה אֶשְׁבֹּ֞ר אֶת־הָעָ֤ם הַזֶּה֙ וְאֶת־הָעִ֣יר הַזֹּ֔את כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר יִשְׁבֹּר֙ אֶת־כְּלִ֣י הַיּוֹצֵ֔ר אֲשֶׁ֛ר לֹא־יוּכַ֥ל לְהֵרָפֵ֖ה ע֑וֹד וּבְתֹ֣פֶת יִקְבְּר֔וּ מֵאֵ֥ין מָק֖וֹם לִקְבּֽוֹר׃
καὶ ἐρεῖς τάδε λέγει κύριος οὕτως συντρίψω τὸν λαὸν τοῦτον καὶ τὴν πόλιν ταύτην καθὼς συντρίβεται ἄγγος ὀστράκινον ὃ οὐ δυνήσεται ἰαθῆναι ἔτι
et dices ad eos : Haec dicit Dominus exercituum : Sic conteram populum istum, et civitatem istam, sicut conteritur vas figuli, quod non potest ultra instaurari : et in Topheth sepelientur, eo quod non sit alius locus ad sepeliendum.
ወትብሎሙ፡ ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ኀያል፡ ከመዝ፡ እቀተቅጦሙ፡ ለዝ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ወለዛ፡ ሀገር፡ በከመ፡ ተቀጥቀጠት፡ ዛቲ፡ ቀሱተ፡ ልሕኵት፡ ዘኢይክል፡ ሐይወ፡ እንከ፡ ወበጣፌጥ፡ ይትቀበሩ፡ እስመ፡ አልቦሙ፡ መካን፡ ለመቃብር፡ ዘይትቀበሩ።
and shall tell them, ‘Yahweh of Armies says: “Even so I will break this people and this city as one breaks a potter’s vessel, that can’t be made whole again. They will bury in Topheth until there is no place to bury.
19:12
כֵּֽן־אֶעֱשֶׂ֞ה לַמָּק֥וֹם הַזֶּ֛ה נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֖ה וּלְיֽוֹשְׁבָ֑יו וְלָתֵ֛ת אֶת־הָעִ֥יר הַזֹּ֖את כְּתֹֽפֶת׃
οὕτως ποιήσω λέγει κύριος τῷ τόπῳ τούτῳ καὶ τοῖς κατοικοῦσιν ἐν αὐτῷ τοῦ δοθῆναι τὴν πόλιν ταύτην ὡς τὴν διαπίπτουσαν
Sic faciam loco huic, ait Dominus, et habitatoribus ejus, et ponam civitatem istam sicut Topheth.
ከመዝ፡ እሬስዮሙ፡ ለዝ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ወለዝ፡ ብሔር፡ ወለእለ፡ ይነብሩ፡ ውስቴታ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚእብሔር፡ ወእሬስያ፡ ከመ፡ ጣፌጥ፡ ለዛ፡ ሀገር፡ ወአመ፡ ዘብራ።
This is what I will do to this place,” says Yahweh, “and to its inhabitants, even making this city as Topheth.
19:13
וְהָי֞וּ בָּתֵּ֣י יְרוּשָׁלַ֗͏ִם וּבָתֵּי֙ מַלְכֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה כִּמְק֥וֹם הַתֹּ֖פֶת הַטְּמֵאִ֑ים לְכֹ֣ל הַבָּתִּ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר קִטְּר֜וּ עַל־גַּגֹּֽתֵיהֶם֙ לְכֹל֙ צְבָ֣א הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם וְהַסֵּ֥ךְ נְסָכִ֖ים לֵאלֹהִ֥ים אֲחֵרִֽים׃ {פ}
καὶ οἱ οἶκοι Ιερουσαλημ καὶ οἱ οἶκοι βασιλέων Ιουδα ἔσονται καθὼς ὁ τόπος ὁ διαπίπτων τῶν ἀκαθαρσιῶν ἐν πάσαις ταῖς οἰκίαις ἐν αἷς ἐθυμίασαν ἐπὶ τῶν δωμάτων αὐτῶν πάσῃ τῇ στρατιᾷ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ ἔσπεισαν σπονδὰς θεοῖς ἀλλοτρίοις
Et erunt domus Jerusalem, et domus regum Juda, sicut locus Topheth, immundae, omnes domus in quarum domatibus sacrificaverunt omni militiae caeli, et libaverunt libamina diis alienis.
ወይከውን፡ አብያተ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወአብያተ፡ ነገሥተ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ከመ፡ መካነ፡ ጣፌጥ፡ ርኵሳነ፡ ወኵሉ፡ አብያት፡ ኀበ፡ የዐጥኑ፡ ዘዐጠኑ፡ ውስተ፡ አንስቲያሆሙ፡ ለከዋክብተ፡ ሰማይ፡ ወአውጽሑ፡ ሞፃሕቶሙ፡ ለአምላከ፡ ነኪር።
The houses of Jerusalem and the houses of the kings of Judah, which are defiled, will be as the place of Topheth, even all the houses on whose roofs they have burned incense to all the army of the sky and have poured out drink offerings to other gods.”’”
19:14
וַיָּבֹ֤א יִרְמְיָ֙הוּ֙ מֵֽהַתֹּ֔פֶת אֲשֶׁ֨ר שְׁלָח֧וֹ יְהֹוָ֛ה שָׁ֖ם לְהִנָּבֵ֑א וַֽיַּעֲמֹד֙ בַּחֲצַ֣ר בֵּית־יְהֹוָ֔ה וַיֹּ֖אמֶר אֶל־כׇּל־הָעָֽם׃ {ס}
καὶ ἦλθεν Ιερεμιας ἀπὸ τῆς διαπτώσεως οὗ ἀπέστειλεν αὐτὸν κύριος ἐκεῖ τοῦ προφητεῦσαι καὶ ἔστη ἐν τῇ αὐλῇ οἴκου κυρίου καὶ εἶπε πρὸς πάντα τὸν λαόν
Venit autem Jeremias de Topheth, quo miserat eum Dominus ad prophetandum, et stetit in atrio domus Domini, et dixit ad omnem populum :
ወአተወ፡ ኤርምያስ፡ እምጣፌት፡ ዘፈነዎ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ይትነበይ፡ በህየ፡ ወቆመ፡ ውስተ፡ ዐጸደ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
Then Jeremiah came from Topheth, where Yahweh had sent him to prophesy, and he stood in the court of Yahweh’s house, and said to all the people:
19:15
כֹּה־אָמַ֞ר יְהֹוָ֤ה צְבָאוֹת֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל הִנְנִ֨י מֵבִ֜י אֶל־הָעִ֤יר הַזֹּאת֙ וְעַל־כׇּל־עָרֶ֔יהָ אֵ֚ת כׇּל־הָ֣רָעָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבַּ֖רְתִּי עָלֶ֑יהָ כִּ֤י הִקְשׁוּ֙ אֶת־עׇרְפָּ֔ם לְבִלְתִּ֖י שְׁמ֥וֹעַ אֶת־דְּבָרָֽי׃
τάδε λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπάγω ἐπὶ τὴν πόλιν ταύτην καὶ ἐπὶ πάσας τὰς πόλεις αὐτῆς καὶ ἐπὶ τὰς κώμας αὐτῆς ἅπαντα τὰ κακά ἃ ἐλάλησα ἐπ’ αὐτήν ὅτι ἐσκλήρυναν τὸν τράχηλον αὐτῶν τοῦ μὴ εἰσακούειν τῶν λόγων μου
Haec dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israël : Ecce ego inducam super civitatem hanc, et super omnes urbes ejus, universa mala quae locutus sum adversum eam, quoniam induraverunt cervicem suam ut non audirent sermones meos.
ወይቤሎሙ፡ ከኵሎሙ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ለመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አምላከ፡ እስራኤል፡ ናሁ፡ አመጽ፡ ላዕለ፡ ዛ፡ ሀገር፡ ወላዕለ፡ ኵሉ፡ አህጉሪሃ፡ ኵሎ፡ እኩየ፡ ዘነበብኩ፡ ላዕሌሃ፡ እስመ፡ አጽምዑ፡ ሐዳፎሙ፡ ከመ፡ ኢይስምዑ፡ ቃልየ።
“Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel says, ‘Behold, I will bring on this city and on all its towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it, because they have made their neck stiff, that they may not hear my words.’”
