15:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ Τότε προσέρχονται τῷ Ἰησοῦ ἀπὸ Ἱεροσολύμων Φαρισαῖοι καὶ γραμματεῖς λέγοντες ·
Tunc accesserunt ad eum ab Jerosolymis scribae et pharisaei , dicentes :
ወእምዝ ቀርቡ ኀበ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ እለ መጽኡ እምኢየሩሳሌም ጸሐፍት ወፈሪሳውያን እንዘ ይብሉ ።
Then Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus from Jerusalem, saying,
15:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ διατί οἱ μαθηταί σου παραβαίνουσιν τὴν παράδοσιν τῶν πρεσβυτέρων ; οὐ γὰρ νίπτονται τὰς χεῖρας ὅταν ἄρτον ἐσθίωσιν .
Quare discipuli tui transgrediuntur traditionem seniorum ? non enim lavant manus suas cum panem manducant .
ለምንት ይትዐደዉ አርዳኢከ ሥርዐተ ረበናት ወትእዛዞሙ ለሊቃነ ካህናት እስመ ኢይትኀፀቡ እደዊሆሙ ሶበ ይበልዑ ኅብስተ ።
“Why do your disciples disobey the tradition of the elders? For they don’t wash their hands when they eat bread.”
15:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς · διατί καὶ ὑμεῖς παραβαίνετε τὴν ἐντολὴν τοῦ θεοῦ διὰ τὴν παράδοσιν ὑμῶν ;
Ipse autem respondens ait illis : Quare et vos transgredimini mandatum Dei propter traditionem vestram ? Nam Deus dixit :
ወአውሥአ ወይቤሎሙ ለምንት አንትሙኒ ትትዐደዉ ትእዛዘ እግዚአብሔር በእንተ ሥርዐትክሙ ።
He answered them, “Why do you also disobey the commandment of God because of your tradition?
15:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὁ γὰρ θεὸς ἐνετείλατο λέγων · τίμα τὸν πατέρα καὶ τὴν μητέρα , καί ὁ κακολογῶν πατέρα ἢ μητέρα θανάτῳ τελευτάτω ·
Honora patrem , et matrem : et , Qui maledixerit patri , vel matri , morte moriatur .
ወእግዚአብሔርሰ ይቤ አክብር አባከ ወእመከ ወዘአሕሠመ ቃለ ላዕለ አቡሁ ወእሙ ሞተ ለይሙት ።
For God commanded, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.’
15:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὑμεῖς δὲ λέγετε · ὃς ἂν εἴπῃ τῷ πατρὶ ἢ τῇ μητρί · δῶρον ὃ ἐὰν ἐξ ἐμοῦ ὠφεληθῇς , οὐ μὴ τιμήσει τὸν πατέρα αὐτοῦ ἢ τὴν μητέρα αὐτοῦ .
Vos autem dicitis : Quicumque dixerit patri , vel matri : Munus , quodcumque est ex me , tibi proderit :
ወአንትሙሰ ትብሉ ዘይቤሎ ለአቡሁ ወለእሙ ሀብተ ቍርባን ዘረባኅከ እምኔየ ዝ ብሂል ኢያክብር አባሁ ወእሞ ።
But you say, ‘Whoever may tell his father or his mother, “Whatever help you might otherwise have gotten from me is a gift devoted to God,”
15:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ ἠκυρώσατε τὸν νόμον τοῦ θεοῦ διὰ τὴν παράδοσιν ὑμῶν .
et non honorificabit patrem suum , aut matrem suam : et irritum fecistis mandatum Dei propter traditionem vestram .
ወሰዐርክሙ ቃሎ ለእግዚአብሔር በእንተ ሥርዐትክሙ ።
he shall not honor his father or mother.’ You have made the commandment of God void because of your tradition.
15:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὑποκριταί , καλῶς ἐπροφήτευσεν περὶ ὑμῶν Ἡσαΐας λέγων ·
Hypocritae , bene prophetavit de vobis Isaias , dicens :
ኦ መደልዋን ሠናየ ተነበየ ኢሳይያስ ላዕሌክሙ እንዘ ይብል ፤
You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,
15:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὁ λαὸς οὗτος τοῖς χείλεσίν με τιμᾷ , ἡ δὲ καρδία αὐτῶν πόρρω ἀπέχει ἀπ’ ἐμοῦ ·
Populus hic labiis me honorat : cor autem eorum longe est a me .
«ዝ ሕዝብ በከናፍሪሆሙ ያከብሩኒ ወበልቦሙሰ ነዋኀ ይርኅቁ እምኔየ ።
‘These people draw near to me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
15:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ μάτην δὲ σέβονταί με , διδάσκοντες διδασκαλίας ἐντάλματα ἀνθρώπων .
Sine causa autem colunt me , docentes doctrinas et mandata hominum .
ወከንቶ ያመልኩኒ እንዘ ይሜህሩ ትምህርተ ሥርዐታተ ሰብእ ።»
And they worship me in vain, teaching as doctrine rules made by men.’”
15:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ Καὶ προσκαλεσάμενος τὸν ὄχλον εἶπεν αὐτοῖς · ἀκούετε καὶ συνίετε ·
Et convocatis ad se turbis , dixit eis : Audite , et intelligite .
ወጸውዖሙ ለሕዝብ ወይቤሎሙ ስምዑ ወለብዉ ።
He summoned the multitude, and said to them, “Hear, and understand.
15:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ οὐ τὸ εἰσερχόμενον εἰς τὸ στόμα κοινοῖ τὸν ἄνθρωπον , ἀλλὰ τὸ ἐκπορευόμενον ἐκ τοῦ στόματος , τοῦτο κοινοῖ τὸν ἄνθρωπον .
Non quod intrat in os , coinquinat hominem : sed quod procedit ex ore , hoc coinquinat hominem .
ከመ አኮ ዘይበውእ ውስተ አፍ ዘያረኵሶ ለሰብእ አላ ዘይወፅእ እምውስተ አፍ ውእቱ ያረኵሶ ለሰብእ ።
That which enters into the mouth doesn’t defile the man; but that which proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man.”
15:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ τότε προσελθόντες οἱ μαθηταὶ λέγουσιν αὐτῷ · οἶδας ὅτι οἱ Φαρισαῖοι ἀκούσαντες τὸν λόγον ἐσκανδαλίσθησαν ;
Tunc accedentes discipuli ejus , dixerunt ei : Scis quia pharisaei audito verbo hoc , scandalizati sunt ?
ወእምዝ ቀሪቦሙ አርዳኢሁ ይቤልዎ ተአምርሁ ከመ ፈሪሳውያን ሰሚዖሙ ቃለከ አንጐርጐሩ ።
Then the disciples came and said to him, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?”
15:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν · πᾶσα φυτεία ἣν οὐκ ἐφύτευσεν ὁ πατήρ μου ὁ οὐράνιος ἐκριζωθήσεται .
At ille respondens ait : Omnis plantatio , quam non plantavit Pater meus caelestis , eradicabitur .
ወአውሥአ ወይቤ ኵላ ተክል እንተ ኢተከላ አቡየ ሰማያዊ ትሤሮ ።
But he answered, “Every plant which my heavenly Father didn’t plant will be uprooted.
15:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἄφετε αὐτούς · ὁδηγοί εἰσιν τυφλοί τυφλῶν · τυφλὸς δὲ τυφλὸν ἐὰν ὁδηγῇ , ἀμφότεροι εἰς βόθυνον πεσοῦνται .
Sinite illos : caeci sunt , et duces caecorum ; caecus autem si caeco ducatum praestet , ambo in foveam cadunt .
ኅድግዎሙ ለእሉ እስመ ዕዉራን እሙንቱ ወአምርሕተ ዕዉራን ዕዉር ዕዉረ ለእመ መርሐ ክልኤሆሙ ይወድቁ ውስተ ግብ ።
Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind. If the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit.”
15:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ Πέτρος εἶπεν αὐτῷ · φράσον ἡμῖν τὴν παραβολήν .
Respondens autem Petrus dixit ei : Edissere nobis parabolam istam .
ወአውሥአ ጴጥሮስ ወይቤሎ ፈክር ለነ ዘንተ ምሳሌ ።
Peter answered him, “Explain the parable to us.”
15:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὁ δὲ εἶπεν · ἀκμὴν καὶ ὑμεῖς ἀσύνετοί ἐστε ;
At ille dixit : Adhuc et vos sine intellectu estis ?
ወይቤሎሙ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ ዓዲሁ አንትሙኒ ኢለበውክሙኑ ዘንተ ።
So Jesus said, “Do you also still not understand?
15:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ οὐ νοεῖτε ὅτι πᾶν τὸ εἰσπορευόμενον εἰς τὸ στόμα εἰς τὴν κοιλίαν χωρεῖ καὶ εἰς ἀφεδρῶνα ἐκβάλλεται ;
Non intelligitis quia omne quod in os intrat , in ventrem vadit , et in secessum emittitur ?
ኢተአምሩኑ ከመ ኵሉ ዘይበውእ ውስተ አፍ ውስተ ከርሥ ይትገመር ወጽመ ይትገደፍ ።
Don’t you understand that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the belly and then out of the body?
15:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ τὰ δὲ ἐκπορευόμενα ἐκ τοῦ στόματος ἐκ τῆς καρδίας ἐξέρχεται , κἀκεῖνα κοινοῖ τὸν ἄνθρωπον .
Quae autem procedunt de ore , de corde exeunt , et ea coinquinant hominem :
ወዘሰ ይወፅእ እምውስተ አፍ እምልብ ይወፅእ ወዝ ውእቱ ዘያረኵሶ ለሰብእ ።
But the things which proceed out of the mouth come out of the heart, and they defile the man.
15:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἐκ γὰρ τῆς καρδίας ἐξέρχονται διαλογισμοὶ πονηροί , φόνοι , μοιχεῖαι , πορνεῖαι , κλοπαί , ψευδομαρτυρίαι , βλασφημίαι .
de corde enim exeunt cogitationes malae , homicidia , adulteria , fornicationes , furta , falsa testimonia , blasphemiae :
እስመ እምውስተ ልብ ይወፅእ ኅሊና እኩይ ዘውእቱ ቀቲል ወዝሙት ስርቅ ስምዕ በሐሰት ወፅርፈት ።
For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies.
15:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ ταῦτά ἐστιν τὰ κοινοῦντα τὸν ἄνθρωπον · τὸ δὲ ἀνίπτοις χερσὶν φαγεῖν οὐ κοινοῖ τὸν ἄνθρωπον .
haec sunt , quae coinquinant hominem . Non lotis autem manibus manducare , non coinquinat hominem .
እሉኬ ዘያረኵስዎ ለሰብእ ወዘእንበለ ተኀፅቦ እድሰ በሊዕ ኢያረኵሶ ለሰብእ ።
These are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashed hands doesn’t defile the man.”
15:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ Καὶ ἐξελθὼν ἐκεῖθεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἀνεχώρησεν εἰς τὰ μέρη Τύρου καὶ Σιδῶνος .
Et egressus inde Jesus secessit in partes Tyri et Sidonis .
ወወፂኦ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ ተግኅሠ እምህየ ውስተ ደወለ ጢሮስ ወሲዶና ።
Jesus went out from there and withdrew into the region of Tyre and Sidon.
15:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ ἰδοὺ γυνὴ Χαναναία ἀπὸ τῶν ὁρίων ἐκείνων ἐξελθοῦσα ἔκραζεν λέγουσα · ἐλέησόν με , κύριε , υἱὸς Δαυείδ · ἡ θυγάτηρ μου κακῶς δαιμονίζεται .
Et ecce mulier chananaea a finibus illis egressa clamavit , dicens ei : Miserere mei , Domine fili David : filia mea male a daemonio vexatur .
ወናሁ ብእሲት ከነናዊት እምውእቱ አድዋል መጽአት እንዘ ትጸርሕ ወትብል መሐረኒ እግዚእየ ወልደ ዳዊት እስመ ለወለትየ እኩይ ጋኔን አኀዛ ወያአብዳ ።
Behold, a Canaanite woman came out from those borders and cried, saying, “Have mercy on me, Lord, you son of David! My daughter is severely possessed by a demon!”
15:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὁ δὲ οὐκ ἀπεκρίθη αὐτῇ λόγον . καὶ προσελθόντες οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ ἠρώτουν αὐτὸν λέγοντες · ἀπόλυσον αὐτήν , ὅτι κράζει ὄπισθεν ἡμῶν .
Qui non respondit ei verbum . Et accedentes discipuli ejus rogabant eum dicentes : Dimitte eam : quia clamat post nos .
ወኢያውሥኣ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ ቃለ ወቀሪቦሙ አርዳኢሁ አስተብቍዕዎ እንዘ ይብሉ ፈንዋ ለዛቲ ብእሲት እስመ ትጸርሕ በድኅሬነ ።
But he answered her not a word. His disciples came and begged him, saying, “Send her away; for she cries after us.”
15:24 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν · οὐκ ἀπεστάλην εἰ μὴ εἰς τὰ πρόβατα τὰ ἀπολωλότα οἴκου Ἰσραήλ .
Ipse autem respondens ait : Non sum missus nisi ad oves , quae perierunt domus Israël .
ወአውሥአ ወይቤሎሙ ኢተፈነውኩ ዘእንበለ ኀበ አባግዕ ዘተኀጕላ ዘቤተ እስራኤል ።
But he answered, “I wasn’t sent to anyone but the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
15:25 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἡ δὲ ἐλθοῦσα προσεκύνει αὐτῷ λέγουσα · κύριε , βοήθει μοι .
At illa venit , et adoravit eum , dicens : Domine , adjuva me .
ወቀሪባ ሰገደት ሎቱ እንዘ ትብል እግዚኦ ርድአኒ ።
But she came and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, help me.”
15:26 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν · οὐκ ἔξεστιν λαβεῖν τὸν ἄρτον τῶν τέκνων καὶ βαλεῖν τοῖς κυναρίοις .
Qui respondens ait : Non est bonum sumere panem filiorum , et mittere canibus .
ወአውሥኣ ወይቤላ ኢኮነ ሠናየ ነሢአ ኅብስተ ውሉድ ወውሂብ ለከለባት ።
But he answered, “It is not appropriate to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”
15:27 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἡ δὲ εἶπεν · ναί , κύριε · καὶ γὰρ τὰ κυνάρια ἐσθίει ἀπὸ τῶν ψιχίων τῶν πιπτόντων ἀπὸ τῆς τραπέζης τῶν κυρίων αὐτῶν .
At illa dixit : Etiam Domine : nam et catelli edunt de micis quae cadunt de mensa dominorum suorum .
ወትቤ እወ እግዚኦ ከለባትኒ ጓ ይበልዑ እምፍርፋራት ዘይወድቅ እማእደ አጋዕዝቲሆሙ ።
But she said, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”
15:28 ⧉ ⤴︎ τότε ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτῇ · ὦ γύναι , μεγάλη σου ἡ πίστις · γενηθήτω σοι ὡς θέλεις . καὶ ἰάθη ἡ θυγάτηρ αὐτῆς ἀπὸ τῆς ὥρας ἐκείνης .
Tunc respondens Jesus , ait illi : O mulier , magna est fides tua : fiat tibi sicut vis . Et sanata est filia ejus ex illa hora .
ወእምዝ አውሥኣ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ ወይቤላ ኦ ብእሲቶ ዐቢይ ሃይማኖትኪ ይኩንኪ በከመ ተአመንኪ ወሐይወት ወለታ እምይእቲ ሰዓት ።
Then Jesus answered her, “Woman, great is your faith! Be it done to you even as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that hour.
15:29 ⧉ ⤴︎ Καὶ μεταβὰς ἐκεῖθεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἦλθεν παρὰ τὴν θάλασσαν τῆς Γαλιλαίας , καὶ ἀναβὰς εἰς τὸ ὄρος ἐκάθητο ἐκεῖ .
Et cum transisset inde Jesus , venit secus mare Galilaeae : et ascendens in montem , sedebat ibi .
ወኀሊፎ እምህየ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ በጽሐ ኀበ ሐይቀ ባሕር ዘገሊላ ወዐሪጎ ደብረ ነበረ ህየ ።
Jesus departed from there and came near to the sea of Galilee; and he went up on the mountain and sat there.
15:30 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ προσῆλθον αὐτῷ ὄχλοι πολλοὶ ἔχοντες μεθ’ ἑαυτῶν χωλούς , τυφλούς , κωφούς , κυλλούς , καὶ ἑτέρους πολλούς , καὶ ἔριψαν αὐτοὺς παρὰ τοὺς πόδας αὐτοῦ · καὶ ἐθεράπευσεν αὐτούς ,
Et accesserunt ad eum turbae multae , habentes secum mutos , caecos , claudos , debiles , et alios multos : et projecerunt eos ad pedes ejus , et curavit eos ,
ወቀርቡ ኀቤሁ አሕዛብ ብዙኃን ወአምጽኡ ምስሌሆሙ ሐንካሳነ ወዕዉራነ ወጽሙማነ ወፅዉሳነ ወባዕዳነ ብዙኃነ ወገደፍዎሙ ኀበ እገሪሁ ለእግዚእ ኢየሱስ ወፈወሶሙ ።
Great multitudes came to him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others, and they put them down at his feet. He healed them,
15:31 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὥστε τὸν ὄχλον θαυμάσαι βλέποντας κωφοὺς λαλοῦντας , κυλλοὺς ὑγιεῖς , καὶ χωλοὺς περιπατοῦντας καὶ τυφλοὺς βλέποντας · καὶ ἐδόξασαν τὸν θεὸν Ἰσραήλ .
ita ut turbae mirarentur , videntes mutos loquentes , claudos ambulantes , caecos videntes : et magnificabant Deum Israël .
እስከ ሶበ ያነክሩ አሕዛብ እንዘ ይሬእዩ ከመ በሃማን ይትናገሩ ወሐንካሳን የሐውሩ ወዕዉራን ይሬእዩ ወሰብሕዎ ለአምላከ እስራኤል ዘወሀበ ዘከመዝ ሥልጣነ ለሰብእ ።
so that the multitude wondered when they saw the mute speaking, the injured healed, the lame walking, and the blind seeing—and they glorified the God of Israel.
15:32 ⧉ ⤴︎ Ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς προσκαλεσάμενος τοὺς μαθητὰς αὐτοῦ εἶπεν · σπλαγχνίζομαι ἐπὶ τὸν ὄχλον , ὅτι ἤδη ἡμέραι τρεῖς προσμένουσίν μοι καὶ οὐκ ἔχουσιν τί φάγωσιν · καὶ ἀπολῦσαι αὐτοὺς νήστεις οὐ θέλω , μήποτε ἐκλυθῶσιν ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ .
Jesus autem , convocatis discipulis suis , dixit : Misereor turbae , quia triduo jam perseverant mecum , et non habent quod manducent : et dimittere eos jejunos nolo , ne deficiant in via .
ወጸውዖሙ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ ለአርዳኢሁ ወይቤሎሙ ያምሕሩኒ እሉ ሕዝብ እስመ ናሁ ሠሉስ መዋዕል እምዘበልዑ እክለ ወአልቦሙ ዘይበልዑ ወኢይፈቅድ እፈንዎሙ ርኁባኒሆሙ ከመ ኢይመጽልዉ በፍኖት ።
Jesus summoned his disciples and said, “I have compassion on the multitude, because they have continued with me now three days and have nothing to eat. I don’t want to send them away fasting, or they might faint on the way.”
15:33 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ λέγουσιν αὐτῷ οἱ μαθηταί · πόθεν ἡμῖν ἐν ἐρημίᾳ ἄρτοι τοσοῦτοι ὥστε χορτάσαι ὄχλον τοσοῦτον ;
Et dicunt ei discipuli : Unde ergo nobis in deserto panes tantos , ut saturemus turbam tantam ?
ወይቤልዎ አርዳኢሁ እምአይቴ እንከ ለነ በገዳም ኅብስት ዘያጸግብ ለዘመጠነዝ ሕዝብ ።
The disciples said to him, “Where could we get so many loaves in a deserted place as to satisfy so great a multitude?”
15:34 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς , πόσους ἄρτους ἔχετε ; οἱ δὲ εἶπον · ἑπτά , καὶ ὀλίγα ἰχθύδια .
Et ait illis Jesus : Quot habetis panes ? At illi dixerunt : Septem , et paucos pisciculos .
ወይቤሎሙ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ ሚመጠን ኀባውዝ ብክሙ ወይቤልዎ ሰብዑ ኅብስት ወኅዳጥ ዓሣ ።
Jesus said to them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, “Seven, and a few small fish.”
15:35 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ παραγγείλας τῷ ὄχλῳ ἀναπεσεῖν ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν
Et praecepit turbae ut discumberent super terram .
ወአዘዞሙ ለሕዝብ ይርፍቁ ዲበ ምድር ።
He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground;
15:36 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἔλαβεν τοὺς ἑπτὰ ἄρτους καὶ τοὺς ἰχθύας καὶ εὐχαριστήσας ἔκλασεν καὶ ἐδίδου τοῖς μαθηταῖς , οἱ δὲ μαθηταὶ τοῖς ὄχλοις .
Et accipiens septem panes , et pisces , et gratias agens , fregit , et dedit discipulis suis , et discipuli dederunt populo .
ወነሥአ ሰቡዐ ኅብስተ ወዓሣኒ ወይእተ ጊዜ አእኰተ ወፈተተ ወወሀቦሙ ለአርዳኢሁ ወአርዳኢሁኒ አቅረቡ ለሕዝብ ።
and he took the seven loaves and the fish. He gave thanks and broke them, and gave to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes.
15:37 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ ἔφαγον πάντες καὶ ἐχορτάσθησαν , καὶ τὸ περισσεῦον τῶν κλασμάτων ἦραν , ἑπτὰ σπυρίδας πλήρεις .
Et comederunt omnes , et saturati sunt . Et quod superfuit de fragmentis , tulerunt septem sportas plenas .
ወበልዑ ኵሎሙ ወጸግቡ ወአግኀሡ ዘተርፈ ፍተታተ ሰብዐተ አስፈሬዳተ ምሉአ ።

15:38 ⧉ ⤴︎ οἱ δὲ ἐσθίοντες ἦσαν τετρακισχίλιοι ἄνδρες χωρὶς παιδίων καὶ γυναικῶν .
Erant autem qui manducaverunt quatuor millia hominum , extra parvulos et mulieres .
ወእለሰ በልዑ ዕደው የአክሉ አርብዓ ምእት ብእሲ ዘእንበለ አንስት ወደቅ ።
Those who ate were four thousand men, in addition to women and children.
15:39 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ ἀπολύσας τοὺς ὄχλους ἐνέβη εἰς τὸ πλοῖον , καὶ ἦλθεν εἰς τὰ ὅρια Μαγαδάν .
Et , dimissa turba , ascendit in naviculam : et venit in fines Magedan .
ወፈቲሖ አሕዛበ ዐርገ ውስተ ሐመር ወሖረ ውስተ ደወለ መጌዶል ።
Then he sent away the multitudes, got into the boat, and came into the borders of Magdala.
