3:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֵ֛לֶּה תּוֹלְדֹ֥ת אַהֲרֹ֖ן וּמֹשֶׁ֑ה בְּי֗וֹם דִּבֶּ֧ר יְהֹוָ֛ה אֶת ־מֹשֶׁ֖ה בְּהַ֥ר סִינָֽי ׃
καὶ αὗται αἱ γενέσεις Ααρων καὶ Μωυσῆ ἐν ᾗ ἡμέρᾳ ἐλάλησεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ ἐν ὄρει Σινα
Hae sunt generationes Aaron et Moysi in die qua locutus est Dominus ad Moysen in monte Sinai .
ወከመዝ ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ፍጥረቶሙ ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ወለአሮን ፡ በዕለተ ፡ ተናገሮ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ በደብረ ፡ ሲና ።
Now this is the history of the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that Yahweh spoke with Moses in Mount Sinai.
3:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֵ֛לֶּה שְׁמ֥וֹת בְּֽנֵי ־אַהֲרֹ֖ן הַבְּכֹ֣ר ׀נָדָ֑ב וַאֲבִיה֕וּא אֶלְעָזָ֖ר וְאִיתָמָֽר ׃
καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Ααρων πρωτότοκος Ναδαβ καὶ Αβιουδ Ελεαζαρ καὶ Ιθαμαρ
Et haec nomina filiorum Aaron : primogenitus ejus Nadab , deinde Abiu , et Eleazar , et Ithamar .
ወዝንቱ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ አስማቲሆሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ አሮን ፡ በኵሩ ፡ ናዳብ ፡ ወአቢዩድ ፡ ወእልዓዛር ፡ ወይታመር ።
These are the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
3:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֵ֗לֶּה שְׁמוֹת֙ בְּנֵ֣י אַהֲרֹ֔ן הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים הַמְּשֻׁחִ֑ים אֲשֶׁר ־מִלֵּ֥א יָדָ֖ם לְכַהֵֽן ׃
ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Ααρων οἱ ἱερεῖς οἱ ἠλειμμένοι οὓς ἐτελείωσαν τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῶν ἱερατεύειν
Haec nomina filiorum Aaron sacerdotum qui uncti sunt , et quorum repletae et consecratae manus ut sacerdotio fungerentur .
ወዝንቱ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ አስማቲሆሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ አሮን ፡ ለካህናት ፡ እለ ፡ ቅቡኣን ፡ ወእለ ፡ ፍጹማን ፡ እደዊሆሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይኩኑ ፡ ካህናተ ።
These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests who were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest’s office.
3:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיָּ֣מׇת נָדָ֣ב וַאֲבִיה֣וּא לִפְנֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֡ה בְּֽהַקְרִבָם֩ אֵ֨שׁ זָרָ֜ה לִפְנֵ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ בְּמִדְבַּ֣ר סִינַ֔י וּבָנִ֖ים לֹא ־הָי֣וּ לָהֶ֑ם וַיְכַהֵ֤ן אֶלְעָזָר֙ וְאִ֣יתָמָ֔ר עַל ־פְּנֵ֖י אַהֲרֹ֥ן אֲבִיהֶֽם ׃ {פ}
καὶ ἐτελεύτησεν Ναδαβ καὶ Αβιουδ ἔναντι κυρίου προσφερόντων αὐτῶν πῦρ ἀλλότριον ἔναντι κυρίου ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ Σινα καὶ παιδία οὐκ ἦν αὐτοῖς καὶ ἱεράτευσεν Ελεαζαρ καὶ Ιθαμαρ μετ’ Ααρων τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῶν
Mortui sunt enim Nadab et Abiu cum offerrent ignem alienum in conspectu Domini in deserto Sinai , absque liberis : functique sunt sacerdotio Eleazar et Ithamar coram Aaron patre suo .
ወሞቱ ፡ ናዳብ ፡ ወአብዩድ ፡ በቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እስመ ፡ አምጽኡ ፡ እሳተ ፡ ዘባዕድ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በሐቅለ ፡ ሲና ፡ ወአልቦሙ ፡ ውሉደ ፡ ወኮኑ ፡ ካህናተ ፡ እልዓዛር ፡ ወይታመር ፡ ምስለ ፡ አሮን ፡ አቡሆሙ ።
Nadab and Abihu died before Yahweh when they offered strange fire before Yahweh in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children. Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest’s office in the presence of Aaron their father.
3:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen , dicens :
ወነበቦ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ወይቤሎ ፤
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
3:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ הַקְרֵב֙ אֶת ־מַטֵּ֣ה לֵוִ֔י וְהַעֲמַדְתָּ֣ אֹת֔וֹ לִפְנֵ֖י אַהֲרֹ֣ן הַכֹּהֵ֑ן וְשֵׁרְת֖וּ אֹתֽוֹ ׃
λαβὲ τὴν φυλὴν Λευι καὶ στήσεις αὐτοὺς ἐναντίον Ααρων τοῦ ἱερέως καὶ λειτουργήσουσιν αὐτῷ
Applica tribum Levi , et fac stare in conspectu Aaron sacerdotis ut ministrent ei , et excubent ,
ንሥኦሙ ፡ ለነገደ ፡ ሌዊ ፡ ወአቅሞሙ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ አሮን ፡ ካህን ፡ ወይትለአክዎ ።
“Bring the tribe of Levi near, and set them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister to him.
3:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְשָׁמְר֣וּ אֶת ־מִשְׁמַרְתּ֗וֹ וְאֶת ־מִשְׁמֶ֙רֶת֙ כׇּל ־הָ֣עֵדָ֔ה לִפְנֵ֖י אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד לַעֲבֹ֖ד אֶת ־עֲבֹדַ֥ת הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן ׃
καὶ φυλάξουσιν τὰς φυλακὰς αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰς φυλακὰς τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἔναντι τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἐργάζεσθαι τὰ ἔργα τῆς σκηνῆς
et observent quidquid ad cultum pertinet multitudinis coram tabernaculo testimonii ,
ወይዕቀቡ ፡ ሕጎ ፡ ወሕጎሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ በቅድመ ፡ ደብተራ ፡ ዘመርጡል ፡ ወይግበሩ ፡ ምግባራቲሃ ፡ ለደብተራ ።
They shall keep his requirements, and the requirements of the whole congregation before the Tent of Meeting, to do the service of the tabernacle.
3:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְשָׁמְר֗וּ אֶֽת ־כׇּל ־כְּלֵי֙ אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד וְאֶת ־מִשְׁמֶ֖רֶת בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל לַעֲבֹ֖ד אֶת ־עֲבֹדַ֥ת הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן ׃
καὶ φυλάξουσιν πάντα τὰ σκεύη τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ τὰς φυλακὰς τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ κατὰ πάντα τὰ ἔργα τῆς σκηνῆς
et custodiant vasa tabernaculi , servientes in ministerio ejus .
ወይዕቀቡ ፡ ንዋያ ፡ ለደብተራ ፡ መርጡል ፡ ወሕጎሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ምግባራቲሃ ፡ ለደብተራ ።
They shall keep all the furnishings of the Tent of Meeting, and the obligations of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.
3:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְנָתַתָּה֙ אֶת ־הַלְוִיִּ֔ם לְאַהֲרֹ֖ן וּלְבָנָ֑יו נְתוּנִ֨ם נְתוּנִ֥ם הֵ֙מָּה֙ ל֔וֹ מֵאֵ֖ת בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ δώσεις τοὺς Λευίτας Ααρων καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ τοῖς ἱερεῦσιν δόμα δεδομένοι οὗτοί μοί εἰσιν ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ
Dabisque dono Levitas
ወታገብኦሙ ፡ ለሌዋውያን ፡ ኀበ ፡ አሮን ፡ እኁከ ፡ ወኀበ ፡ ደቂቁ ፡ ካህናት ፡ እስመ ፡ ሀብትየ ፡ ውሁባን ፡ ሊተ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ።
You shall give the Levites to Aaron and to his sons. They are wholly given to him on the behalf of the children of Israel.
3:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֶת ־אַהֲרֹ֤ן וְאֶת ־בָּנָיו֙ תִּפְקֹ֔ד וְשָׁמְר֖וּ אֶת ־כְּהֻנָּתָ֑ם וְהַזָּ֥ר הַקָּרֵ֖ב יוּמָֽת ׃ {פ}
καὶ Ααρων καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ καταστήσεις ἐπὶ τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ φυλάξουσιν τὴν ἱερατείαν αὐτῶν καὶ πάντα τὰ κατὰ τὸν βωμὸν καὶ ἔσω τοῦ καταπετάσματος καὶ ὁ ἀλλογενὴς ὁ ἁπτόμενος ἀποθανεῖται
Aaron et filiis ejus , quibus traditi sunt a filiis Israël . Aaron autem et filios ejus constitues super cultum sacerdotii . Externus , qui ad ministrandum accesserit , morietur .
ወትሠይሞሙ ፡ ለአሮን ፡ ወለደቂቁ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ደብተራ ፡ ዘመርጡል ፡ ወይዕቀቡ ፡ ክህነቶሙ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ዘምሥዋዕ ፡ ወዘውስጥ ፡ እምነ ፡ መንጦላዕት ፡ ወእመቦ ፡ ዘገሰሰ ፡ ዘእምውስተ ፡ ባዕድ ፡ ዘመድ ፡ ለይሙት ።
You shall appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall keep their priesthood, but the stranger who comes near shall be put to death.”
3:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen , dicens :
ወነበቦ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ወይቤሎ ፤
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
3:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַאֲנִ֞י הִנֵּ֧ה לָקַ֣חְתִּי אֶת ־הַלְוִיִּ֗ם מִתּוֹךְ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל תַּ֧חַת כׇּל ־בְּכ֛וֹר פֶּ֥טֶר רֶ֖חֶם מִבְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְהָ֥יוּ לִ֖י הַלְוִיִּֽם ׃
καὶ ἐγὼ ἰδοὺ εἴληφα τοὺς Λευίτας ἐκ μέσου τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἀντὶ παντὸς πρωτοτόκου διανοίγοντος μήτραν παρὰ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ λύτρα αὐτῶν ἔσονται καὶ ἔσονται ἐμοὶ οἱ Λευῖται
Ego tuli Levitas a filiis Israël pro omni primogenito , qui aperit vulvam in filiis Israël , eruntque Levitae mei .
ናሁ ፡ አነ ፡ ነሣእክዎሙ ፡ ለሌዋውያን ፡ እምነ ፡ ማእከሎሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ህየንተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ በኵር ፡ ዘይፈትሕ ፡ ማኅፀነ ፡ ዘእምኀበ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ቤዛ ፡ ዚአሆሙ ፡ ይኩኑኒ ፡ ሌዋውያን ፡ (ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡)፡ እስመ ፡ ለት ፡ ቀደስኩ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ በኵረ ፡ በምድረ ፡ ግብጽ ፤ ኵሉ ፡ በኵር ፡ ዘእምውስተ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እምነ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ እስከ ፡ እንስሳ ፡ ሊተ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እስመ ፡ አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
“Behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn who open the womb among the children of Israel; and the Levites shall be mine,
3:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּ֣י לִי֮ כׇּל ־בְּכוֹר֒ בְּיוֹם֩ הַכֹּתִ֨י כׇל ־בְּכ֜וֹר בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֗יִם הִקְדַּ֨שְׁתִּי לִ֤י כׇל ־בְּכוֹר֙ בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מֵאָדָ֖ם עַד ־בְּהֵמָ֑ה לִ֥י יִהְי֖וּ אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה ׃ {פ}
ἐμοὶ γὰρ πᾶν πρωτότοκον ἐν ᾗ ἡμέρᾳ ἐπάταξα πᾶν πρωτότοκον ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτου ἡγίασα ἐμοὶ πᾶν πρωτότοκον ἐν Ισραηλ ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπου ἕως κτήνους ἐμοὶ ἔσονται ἐγὼ κύριος
Meum est enim omne primogenitum : ex quo percussi primogenitos in terra Aegypti , sanctificavi mihi quidquid primum nascitur in Israël : ab homine usque ad pecus , mei sunt . Ego Dominus .
ወነበቦ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ በሐቅለ ፡ ሲና ፡ ወይቤሎ ፤
for all the firstborn are mine. On the day that I struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I made holy to me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and animal. They shall be mine. I am Yahweh.”
3:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֤ר יְהֹוָה֙ אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֔ה בְּמִדְבַּ֥ר סִינַ֖י לֵאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ Σινα λέγων
Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen in deserto Sinai , dicens :
ኈልቆሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ ሌዊ ፡ በበ ፡ አብያተ ፡ አበዊሆሙ ፡ ወበበ ፡ ሕዘቢሆሙ ፡ ወበበ ፡ አዝማዲሆሙ ፤ ኵሉ ፡ ተባዕቶሙ ፡ ዘእምነ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ ወላዕሉ ፡ እምኔሁ ፡ ኈልቆሙ ።
Yahweh spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,
3:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ פְּקֹד֙ אֶת ־בְּנֵ֣י לֵוִ֔י לְבֵ֥ית אֲבֹתָ֖ם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם כׇּל ־זָכָ֛ר מִבֶּן ־חֹ֥דֶשׁ וָמַ֖עְלָה תִּפְקְדֵֽם ׃
ἐπίσκεψαι τοὺς υἱοὺς Λευι κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν κατὰ συγγενείας αὐτῶν πᾶν ἀρσενικὸν ἀπὸ μηνιαίου καὶ ἐπάνω ἐπισκέψασθε αὐτούς
Numera filios Levi per domos patrum suorum et familias , omnem masculum ab uno mense et supra .
ወኈለቍዎሙ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ወአሮን ፡ በቃለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በከመ ፡ አዘዞሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
“Count the children of Levi by their fathers’ houses, by their families. You shall count every male from a month old and upward.”
3:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּפְקֹ֥ד אֹתָ֛ם מֹשֶׁ֖ה עַל ־פִּ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר צֻוָּֽה ׃
καὶ ἐπεσκέψαντο αὐτοὺς Μωυσῆς καὶ Ααρων διὰ φωνῆς κυρίου ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν αὐτοῖς κύριος
Numeravit Moyses , ut praeceperat Dominus ,
ወበበ ፡ አስማቲሆሙ ፡ ውእቶሙ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ሌዊ ፡ ጌድሶን ፡ ወቃዓት ፡ ወሜራሪ ።
Moses counted them according to Yahweh’s word, as he was commanded.
3:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּֽהְיוּ ־אֵ֥לֶּה בְנֵֽי ־לֵוִ֖י בִּשְׁמֹתָ֑ם גֵּרְשׁ֕וֹן וּקְהָ֖ת וּמְרָרִֽי ׃
καὶ ἦσαν οὗτοι οἱ υἱοὶ Λευι ἐξ ὀνομάτων αὐτῶν Γεδσων Κααθ καὶ Μεραρι
et inventi sunt filii Levi per nomina sua , Gerson et Caath et Merari .
ወዝንቱ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ አስማቲሆሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ ጌድሶን ፡ በበሕዘቢሆሙ ፡ ሎቤን ፡ ወሴሜይ ።
These were the sons of Levi by their names: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
3:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֵ֛לֶּה שְׁמ֥וֹת בְּֽנֵי ־גֵרְשׁ֖וֹן לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם לִבְנִ֖י וְשִׁמְעִֽי ׃
καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Γεδσων κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν Λοβενι καὶ Σεμεϊ
Filii Gerson : Lebni et Semei .
ወደቂቁኒ ፡ ለቃዓት ፡ በበሕዘቢሆሙ ፡ አንብረም ፡ ወይ [ሰዓ ]ር ፡ ወኬብሮን ፡ ወኦዚሔል ።
These are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families: Libni and Shimei.
3:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֥י קְהָ֖ת לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם עַמְרָ֣ם וְיִצְהָ֔ר חֶבְר֖וֹן וְעֻזִּיאֵֽל ׃
καὶ υἱοὶ Κααθ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν Αμραμ καὶ Ισσααρ Χεβρων καὶ Οζιηλ
Filii Caath : Amram et Jesaar , Hebron et Oziel .
ወደቂቁኒ ፡ ለሜራሪ ፡ በበሕዘቢሆሙ ፡ ሞሖሊ ፡ ወሖሙሲ ፤
The sons of Kohath by their families: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
3:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֧י מְרָרִ֛י לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֖ם מַחְלִ֣י וּמוּשִׁ֑י אֵ֥לֶּה הֵ֛ם מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת הַלֵּוִ֖י לְבֵ֥ית אֲבֹתָֽם ׃
καὶ υἱοὶ Μεραρι κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν Μοολι καὶ Μουσι οὗτοί εἰσιν δῆμοι τῶν Λευιτῶν κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν
Filii Merari : Moholi et Musi .
ዝንቱ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ሕዘቢሆሙ ፡ ለሌዋውያን ፡ በበአብያተ ፡ አበዊሆሙ ።
The sons of Merari by their families: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their fathers’ houses.
3:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ לְגֵ֣רְשׁ֔וֹן מִשְׁפַּ֙חַת֙ הַלִּבְנִ֔י וּמִשְׁפַּ֖חַת הַשִּׁמְעִ֑י אֵ֣לֶּה הֵ֔ם מִשְׁפְּחֹ֖ת הַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּֽי ׃
τῷ Γεδσων δῆμος τοῦ Λοβενι καὶ δῆμος τοῦ Σεμεϊ οὗτοι δῆμοι τοῦ Γεδσων
De Gerson fuere familiae duae , Lebnitica , et Semeitica :
ዘጌድሶን ፡ ሕዝበ ፡ ሎቤን ፡ ወሕዝበ ፡ ሴሜይ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ዘጌድሶን ።
Of Gershon was the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimeites. These are the families of the Gershonites.
3:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ פְּקֻדֵיהֶם֙ בְּמִסְפַּ֣ר כׇּל ־זָכָ֔ר מִבֶּן ־חֹ֖דֶשׁ וָמָ֑עְלָה פְּקֻ֣דֵיהֶ֔ם שִׁבְעַ֥ת אֲלָפִ֖ים וַחֲמֵ֥שׁ מֵאֽוֹת ׃
ἡ ἐπίσκεψις αὐτῶν κατὰ ἀριθμὸν παντὸς ἀρσενικοῦ ἀπὸ μηνιαίου καὶ ἐπάνω ἡ ἐπίσκεψις αὐτῶν ἑπτακισχίλιοι καὶ πεντακόσιοι
quarum numeratus est populus sexus masculini ab uno mense et supra , septem millia quingenti .
ወዘአስተፋቀዱ ፡ ኍልቈ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ተባዕቶሙ ፡ ዘእምነ ፡ ፩ወርኅ ፡ ወላዕሉ ፡ እምኔሁ ፡ ኍልቊሆሙ ፡ ፸፻፭፻ ።

3:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ מִשְׁפְּחֹ֖ת הַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּ֑י אַחֲרֵ֧י הַמִּשְׁכָּ֛ן יַחֲנ֖וּ יָֽמָּה ׃
καὶ υἱοὶ Γεδσων ὀπίσω τῆς σκηνῆς παρὰ θάλασσαν παρεμβαλοῦσιν
Hi post tabernaculum metabuntur ad occidentem ,
ወየኀድሩ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ጌድሶን ፡ ድኅረ ፡ ደብተራ ፡ መንገለ ፡ ገጸ ፡ ባሕር ።
The families of the Gershonites shall encamp behind the tabernacle westward.
3:24 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּנְשִׂ֥יא בֵֽית ־אָ֖ב לַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּ֑י אֶלְיָסָ֖ף בֶּן ־לָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ ὁ ἄρχων οἴκου πατριᾶς τοῦ δήμου τοῦ Γεδσων Ελισαφ υἱὸς Λαηλ
sub principe Eliasaph filio Laël .
ወመልአኮሙ ፡ ለቤተ ፡ አቡሆሙ ፡ ለሕዝበ ፡ ጌድሶን ፡ ኤሊሳፍ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ዳሔል ።
Eliasaph the son of Lael shall be the prince of the fathers’ house of the Gershonites.
3:25 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמִשְׁמֶ֤רֶת בְּנֵֽי ־גֵרְשׁוֹן֙ בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן וְהָאֹ֑הֶל מִכְסֵ֕הוּ וּמָסַ֕ךְ פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד ׃
καὶ ἡ φυλακὴ υἱῶν Γεδσων ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἡ σκηνὴ καὶ τὸ κάλυμμα καὶ τὸ κατακάλυμμα τῆς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου
Et habebunt excubias in tabernaculo foederis ,
ወዘይትሐበዩ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ጌድሶን ፡ በውስተ ፡ ደብተራ ፡ ዘመርጡል ፡ ደብተራ ፡ ወመክደና ፡ ወመንጦላዕተ ፡ ኆኅተ ፡ ደብተራ ፡ ዘመርጡል ፤
The duty of the sons of Gershon in the Tent of Meeting shall be the tabernacle, the tent, its covering, the screen for the door of the Tent of Meeting,
3:26 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְקַלְעֵ֣י הֶֽחָצֵ֗ר וְאֶת ־מָסַךְ֙ פֶּ֣תַח הֶֽחָצֵ֔ר אֲשֶׁ֧ר עַל ־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֛ן וְעַל ־הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ סָבִ֑יב וְאֵת֙ מֵֽיתָרָ֔יו לְכֹ֖ל עֲבֹדָתֽוֹ ׃ {ס}
καὶ τὰ ἱστία τῆς αὐλῆς καὶ τὸ καταπέτασμα τῆς πύλης τῆς αὐλῆς τῆς οὔσης ἐπὶ τῆς σκηνῆς καὶ τὰ κατάλοιπα πάντων τῶν ἔργων αὐτοῦ
ipsum tabernaculum et operimentum ejus , tentorium quod trahitur ante fores tecti foederis , et cortinas atrii : tentorium quoque quod appenditur in introitu atrii tabernaculi , et quidquid ad ritum altaris pertinet , funes tabernaculi et omnia utensilia ejus .
ወአልባሰ ፡ ዐጸድ ፡ ወመንጦላዕት ፡ ዘውስተ ፡ አንቀጽ ፡ ዘዐጸድ ፡ ዘኀበ ፡ ደብተራ ፡ ወዘተርፈ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ምግባራቲሁ ።
the hangings of the court, the screen for the door of the court which is by the tabernacle and around the altar, and its cords for all of its service.
3:27 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְלִקְהָ֗ת מִשְׁפַּ֤חַת הַֽעַמְרָמִי֙ וּמִשְׁפַּ֣חַת הַיִּצְהָרִ֔י וּמִשְׁפַּ֙חַת֙ הַֽחֶבְרֹנִ֔י וּמִשְׁפַּ֖חַת הָעׇזִּֽיאֵלִ֑י אֵ֥לֶּה הֵ֖ם מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת הַקְּהָתִֽי ׃
τῷ Κααθ δῆμος ὁ Αμραμις καὶ δῆμος ὁ Σααρις καὶ δῆμος ὁ Χεβρωνις καὶ δῆμος ὁ Οζιηλις οὗτοί εἰσιν δῆμοι τοῦ Κααθ
Cognatio Caath habebit populos Amramitas et Jesaaritas et Hebronitas et Ozielitas . Hae sunt familiae Caathitarum recensitae per nomina sua .
ወዘቃዓትኒ ፡ ሕዝበ ፡ አንብረም ፡ አሐዱ ፡ ወሕዝበ ፡ ሰኣር ፡ አሐዱ ፡ ወሕዝበ ፡ ኬብሮን ፡ አሐዱ ፡ ወሕዝበ ፡ ኦዚሔል ፡ አሐዱ ።
Of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, the family of the Izharites, the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites. These are the families of the Kohathites.
3:28 ⧉ ⤴︎ בְּמִסְפַּר֙ כׇּל ־זָכָ֔ר מִבֶּן ־חֹ֖דֶשׁ וָמָ֑עְלָה שְׁמֹנַ֤ת אֲלָפִים֙ וְשֵׁ֣שׁ מֵא֔וֹת שֹׁמְרֵ֖י מִשְׁמֶ֥רֶת הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ ׃
κατὰ ἀριθμὸν πᾶν ἀρσενικὸν ἀπὸ μηνιαίου καὶ ἐπάνω ὀκτακισχίλιοι καὶ ἑξακόσιοι φυλάσσοντες τὰς φυλακὰς τῶν ἁγίων
Omnes generis masculini ab uno mense et supra , octo millia sexcenti habebunt excubias sanctuarii ,
እሉ ፡ ውእቶሙ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ዘቃዓት ፡ በበ ፡ ኍልቈ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ተባዕቶሙ ፡ ዘእምነ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ ወላዕሉ ፡ እምኔሁ ፡ ፹፻፯፻ወየዐቅቡ ፡ ሕጎሙ ፡ ለቅዱሳን ።
According to the number of all the males from a month old and upward, there were eight thousand six hundred keeping the requirements of the sanctuary.
3:29 ⧉ ⤴︎ מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת בְּנֵי ־קְהָ֖ת יַחֲנ֑וּ עַ֛ל יֶ֥רֶךְ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן תֵּימָֽנָה ׃
οἱ δῆμοι τῶν υἱῶν Κααθ παρεμβαλοῦσιν ἐκ πλαγίων τῆς σκηνῆς κατὰ λίβα
et castrametabuntur ad meridianam plagam .
ወየኀድሩ ፡ ሕዝቦሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ ቃዓት ፡ እምገቦሃ ፡ ለደብተራ ፡ ለመንገለ ፡ አዜብ ።
The families of the sons of Kohath shall encamp on the south side of the tabernacle.
3:30 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּנְשִׂ֥יא בֵֽית ־אָ֖ב לְמִשְׁפְּחֹ֣ת הַקְּהָתִ֑י אֱלִיצָפָ֖ן בֶּן ־עֻזִּיאֵֽל ׃
καὶ ὁ ἄρχων οἴκου πατριῶν τῶν δήμων τοῦ Κααθ Ελισαφαν υἱὸς Οζιηλ
Princepsque eorum erit Elisaphan filius Oziel :
ወመልአኮሙ ፡ ለቤተ ፡ አቡሆሙ ፡ ለሕዝበ ፡ ቃዓት ፡ ኤሊሳፈን ፡ ወልደ ፡ ኦዚሔል ።
The prince of the fathers’ house of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.
3:31 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמִשְׁמַרְתָּ֗ם הָאָרֹ֤ן וְהַשֻּׁלְחָן֙ וְהַמְּנֹרָ֣ה וְהַֽמִּזְבְּחֹ֔ת וּכְלֵ֣י הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יְשָׁרְת֖וּ בָּהֶ֑ם וְהַ֨מָּסָ֔ךְ וְכֹ֖ל עֲבֹדָתֽוֹ ׃
καὶ ἡ φυλακὴ αὐτῶν ἡ κιβωτὸς καὶ ἡ τράπεζα καὶ ἡ λυχνία καὶ τὰ θυσιαστήρια καὶ τὰ σκεύη τοῦ ἁγίου ὅσα λειτουργοῦσιν ἐν αὐτοῖς καὶ τὸ κατακάλυμμα καὶ πάντα τὰ ἔργα αὐτῶν
et custodient arcam , mensamque et candelabrum , altaria et vasa sanctuarii , in quibus ministratur , et velum , cunctamque hujuscemodi supellectilem .
ወዘይትሐበዩ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ ታቦተ ፡ ወማእደ ፡ ወመራናተ ፡ ወመሥዋዕተ ፡ ወንዋያተ ፡ ዘቅድሳት ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘይገብሩ ፡ ቦቱ ፡ ወመካድንተ ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ ምግባራተ ።
Their duty shall be the ark, the table, the lamp stand, the altars, the vessels of the sanctuary with which they minister, the screen, and all its service.
3:32 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּנְשִׂיא֙ נְשִׂיאֵ֣י הַלֵּוִ֔י אֶלְעָזָ֖ר בֶּן ־אַהֲרֹ֣ן הַכֹּהֵ֑ן פְּקֻדַּ֕ת שֹׁמְרֵ֖י מִשְׁמֶ֥רֶת הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ ׃
καὶ ὁ ἄρχων ἐπὶ τῶν ἀρχόντων τῶν Λευιτῶν Ελεαζαρ ὁ υἱὸς Ααρων τοῦ ἱερέως καθεσταμένος φυλάσσειν τὰς φυλακὰς τῶν ἁγίων
Princeps autem principum Levitarum Eleazar filius Aaron sacerdotis , erit super excubitores custodiae sanctuarii .
ወመልአክ ፡ ዘዲበ ፡ መሳፍንቲሆሙ ፡ ለሌዋውያን ፡ እልዓዛር ፡ ወልደ ፡ አሮን ፡ ካህን ፡ ዘተሠይመ ፡ ይዕቀብ ፡ ሕጎሙ ፡ ለቅዱሳን ።
Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be prince of the princes of the Levites, with the oversight of those who keep the requirements of the sanctuary.
3:33 ⧉ ⤴︎ לִמְרָרִ֕י מִשְׁפַּ֙חַת֙ הַמַּחְלִ֔י וּמִשְׁפַּ֖חַת הַמּוּשִׁ֑י אֵ֥לֶּה הֵ֖ם מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת מְרָרִֽי ׃
τῷ Μεραρι δῆμος ὁ Μοολι καὶ δῆμος ὁ Μουσι οὗτοί εἰσιν δῆμοι Μεραρι
At vero de Merari erunt populi Moholitae et Musitae recensiti per nomina sua :
ወዘሜራሪኒ ፡ ሕዝበ ፡ ሞሖሊ ፡ ወሕዝበ ፡ ሖሙሲ ፡ እሉ ፡ ውእቶሙ ፡ ሕዝበ ፡ ሜራሪ ።
Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites and the family of the Mushites. These are the families of Merari.
3:34 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּפְקֻדֵיהֶם֙ בְּמִסְפַּ֣ר כׇּל ־זָכָ֔ר מִבֶּן ־חֹ֖דֶשׁ וָמָ֑עְלָה שֵׁ֥שֶׁת אֲלָפִ֖ים וּמָאתָֽיִם ׃
ἡ ἐπίσκεψις αὐτῶν κατὰ ἀριθμόν πᾶν ἀρσενικὸν ἀπὸ μηνιαίου καὶ ἐπάνω ἑξακισχίλιοι καὶ πεντήκοντα
omnes generis masculini ab uno mense et supra , sex millia ducenti .
ወኍለቊሆሙኒ ፡ በከመ ፡ አስተፋቀድዎሙ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ተባዕቶሙ ፡ ዘእም፩ወርኅ ፡ ወላዕሉ ፡ እምኔሁ ፡ ፷፻፶ ።
Those who were counted of them, according to the number of all the males from a month old and upward, were six thousand two hundred.
3:35 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּנְשִׂ֤יא בֵֽית ־אָב֙ לְמִשְׁפְּחֹ֣ת מְרָרִ֔י צוּרִיאֵ֖ל בֶּן ־אֲבִיחָ֑יִל עַ֣ל יֶ֧רֶךְ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֛ן יַחֲנ֖וּ צָפֹֽנָה ׃
καὶ ὁ ἄρχων οἴκου πατριῶν τοῦ δήμου τοῦ Μεραρι Σουριηλ υἱὸς Αβιχαιλ ἐκ πλαγίων τῆς σκηνῆς παρεμβαλοῦσιν πρὸς βορρᾶν
Princeps eorum Suriel filius Abihaiel : in plaga septentrionali castrametabuntur .
ወመልአኮሙ ፡ ለቤተ ፡ አቡሆሙ ፡ ለሕዝበ ፡ ሜራሪ ፡ ሱሪሔል ፡ ወልደ ፡ አቢኪያ ፡ ወየኀድሩ ፡ እምገቦሃ ፡ ለደብተራ ፡ ዘመንገለ ፡ መስዕ ።
The prince of the fathers’ house of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail. They shall encamp on the north side of the tabernacle.
3:36 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּפְקֻדַּ֣ת מִשְׁמֶ֘רֶת֮ בְּנֵ֣י מְרָרִי֒ קַרְשֵׁי֙ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן וּבְרִיחָ֖יו וְעַמֻּדָ֣יו וַאֲדָנָ֑יו וְכׇ֨ל ־כֵּלָ֔יו וְכֹ֖ל עֲבֹדָתֽוֹ ׃
ἡ ἐπίσκεψις ἡ φυλακὴ υἱῶν Μεραρι τὰς κεφαλίδας τῆς σκηνῆς καὶ τοὺς μοχλοὺς αὐτῆς καὶ τοὺς στύλους αὐτῆς καὶ τὰς βάσεις αὐτῆς καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτῶν καὶ τὰ ἔργα αὐτῶν
Erunt sub custodia eorum tabulae tabernaculi et vectes , et columnae ac bases earum , et omnia quae ad cultum hujuscemodi pertinent :
ወ [ዘ ]ይትሐበዩ ፡ ነገደ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ሜ ራሪ ፡ አርእስተ ፡ አዕማድ ፡ ዘደብተራ ፡ ወመናስግቲሃ ፡ ወአዕማዲሃ ፡ ወመካይዲሆን ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ ንዋዮን ፡ ወምግባራቲሆን ፤
The appointed duty of the sons of Merari shall be the tabernacle’s boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets, all its instruments, all its service,
3:37 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעַמֻּדֵ֧י הֶחָצֵ֛ר סָבִ֖יב וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֑ם וִיתֵדֹתָ֖ם וּמֵֽיתְרֵיהֶֽם ׃
καὶ τοὺς στύλους τῆς αὐλῆς κύκλῳ καὶ τὰς βάσεις αὐτῶν καὶ τοὺς πασσάλους καὶ τοὺς κάλους αὐτῶν
columnaeque atrii per circuitum cum basibus suis , et paxilli cum funibus .
ወአዕማድ ፡ ዘዐውደ ፡ ዐጸድ ፡ ወመካይዲሆን ፡ ወመታክሊሆን ፡ ወመታግሪሆን ።

3:38 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהַחֹנִ֣ים לִפְנֵ֣י הַמִּשְׁכָּ֡ן קֵ֣דְמָה לִפְנֵי֩ אֹֽהֶל ־מוֹעֵ֨ד ׀מִזְרָ֜חָה מֹשֶׁ֣ה ׀ וְאַהֲרֹ֣ן וּבָנָ֗יו שֹֽׁמְרִים֙ מִשְׁמֶ֣רֶת הַמִּקְדָּ֔שׁ לְמִשְׁמֶ֖רֶת בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְהַזָּ֥ר הַקָּרֵ֖ב יוּמָֽת ׃
καὶ οἱ παρεμβάλλοντες κατὰ πρόσωπον τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἀπ’ ἀνατολῆς Μωυσῆς καὶ Ααρων καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ φυλάσσοντες τὰς φυλακὰς τοῦ ἁγίου εἰς τὰς φυλακὰς τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ καὶ ὁ ἀλλογενὴς ὁ ἁπτόμενος ἀποθανεῖται
Castrametabuntur ante tabernaculum foederis , id est , ad orientalem plagam , Moyses et Aaron cum filiis suis , habentes custodiam sanctuarii in medio filiorum Israël . Quisquis alienus accesserit , morietur .
ወእ [ለ ]ሰ ፡ የኀድሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ ድብተራ ፡ ዘመርጡል ፡ እመንገለ ፡ [ጽባሕ ፡] ሙሴ ፡ ወአሮን ፡ ወደቂቁ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይዕቀቡ ፡ ሕጎ ፡ ለቅዱስ ፡ በሕጎሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወእመቦ ፡ ዘገሰሰ ፡ ዘእምውስተ ፡ ባዕድ ፡ ዘመድ ፡ ለይሙት ።
Those who encamp before the tabernacle eastward, in front of the Tent of Meeting toward the sunrise, shall be Moses, with Aaron and his sons, keeping the requirements of the sanctuary for the duty of the children of Israel. The outsider who comes near shall be put to death.
3:39 ⧉ ⤴︎ כׇּל ־פְּקוּדֵ֨י הַלְוִיִּ֜ם אֲשֶׁר֩ פָּקַ֨ד מֹשֶׁ֧ה וְׄאַׄהֲׄרֹ֛ׄןׄ עַל ־פִּ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם כׇּל ־זָכָר֙ מִבֶּן ־חֹ֣דֶשׁ וָמַ֔עְלָה שְׁנַ֥יִם וְעֶשְׂרִ֖ים אָֽלֶף ׃ {ס}
πᾶσα ἡ ἐπίσκεψις τῶν Λευιτῶν οὓς ἐπεσκέψατο Μωυσῆς καὶ Ααρων διὰ φωνῆς κυρίου κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν πᾶν ἀρσενικὸν ἀπὸ μηνιαίου καὶ ἐπάνω δύο καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες
Omnes Levitae , quos numeraverunt Moyses et Aaron juxta praeceptum Domini per familias suas in genere masculino a mense uno et supra , fuerunt viginti duo millia .
ኵሉ ፡ ኍለቊሆሙ ፡ ለሌዋውያን ፡ ዘኈለቁ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ወአሮን ፡ በቃለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በበ ፡ ሕዘቢሆሙ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ተባዕቶሙ ፡ ዘእም፩ወርኅ ፡ ወላዕሉ ፡ እምኔሁ ፡ ፪፻-፻፳፻ ።
All who were counted of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron counted at the commandment of Yahweh, by their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty-two thousand.
3:40 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהֹוָ֜ה אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֗ה פְּקֹ֨ד כׇּל ־בְּכֹ֤ר זָכָר֙ לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מִבֶּן ־חֹ֖דֶשׁ וָמָ֑עְלָה וְשָׂ֕א אֵ֖ת מִסְפַּ֥ר שְׁמֹתָֽם ׃
καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων ἐπίσκεψαι πᾶν πρωτότοκον ἄρσεν τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἀπὸ μηνιαίου καὶ ἐπάνω καὶ λαβὲ τὸν ἀριθμὸν ἐξ ὀνόματος
Et ait Dominus ad Moysen : Numera primogenitos sexus masculini de filiis Israël ab uno mense et supra , et habebis summam eorum .
ወነበቦ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ወይቤሎ ፡ ኈልቍ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ በኵሮሙ ፡ ተባዕተ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ዘእም፩ወርኅ ፡ ወላዕሉ ፡ እምኔሁ ፡ ወአእምር ፡ ኍለቊሆሙ ፡ በበ ፡ አስማቲሆሙ ።
Yahweh said to Moses, “Count all the firstborn males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.
3:41 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְלָקַחְתָּ֨ אֶת ־הַלְוִיִּ֥ם לִי֙ אֲנִ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה תַּ֥חַת כׇּל ־בְּכֹ֖ר בִּבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְאֵת֙ בֶּהֱמַ֣ת הַלְוִיִּ֔ם תַּ֣חַת כׇּל ־בְּכ֔וֹר בְּבֶהֱמַ֖ת בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ λήμψῃ τοὺς Λευίτας ἐμοί ἐγὼ κύριος ἀντὶ πάντων τῶν πρωτοτόκων τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ καὶ τὰ κτήνη τῶν Λευιτῶν ἀντὶ πάντων τῶν πρωτοτόκων ἐν τοῖς κτήνεσιν τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ
Tollesque Levitas mihi pro omni primogenito filiorum Israël : ego sum Dominus : et pecora eorum pro universis primogenitis pecorum filiorum Israël .
ወታገብኦሙ ፡ ሊተ ፡ ለሌዋውያን ፡ እስመ ፡ አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ህየንተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ በኵሮሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወእንስሳሆሙኒ ፡ ለሌዋውያን ፡ ህየንተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ በኵረ ፡ እንስሳሆሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ።
You shall take the Levites for me—I am Yahweh—instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the livestock of the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the livestock of the children of Israel.”
3:42 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּפְקֹ֣ד מֹשֶׁ֔ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה אֹת֑וֹ אֶֽת ־כׇּל ־בְּכ֖וֹר בִּבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ ἐπεσκέψατο Μωυσῆς ὃν τρόπον ἐνετείλατο κύριος πᾶν πρωτότοκον ἐν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ
Recensuit Moyses , sicut praeceperat Dominus , primogenitos filiorum Israël :
ወኈለቆሙ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ በኵሮሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ በከመ ፡ አዘዞ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
Moses counted, as Yahweh commanded him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel.
3:43 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְהִי֩ כׇל ־בְּכ֨וֹר זָכָ֜ר בְּמִסְפַּ֥ר שֵׁמֹ֛ת מִבֶּן ־חֹ֥דֶשׁ וָמַ֖עְלָה לִפְקֻדֵיהֶ֑ם שְׁנַ֤יִם וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ אֶ֔לֶף שְׁלֹשָׁ֥ה וְשִׁבְעִ֖ים וּמָאתָֽיִם ׃ {פ}
καὶ ἐγένοντο πάντα τὰ πρωτότοκα τὰ ἀρσενικὰ κατὰ ἀριθμὸν ἐξ ὀνόματος ἀπὸ μηνιαίου καὶ ἐπάνω ἐκ τῆς ἐπισκέψεως αὐτῶν δύο καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες τρεῖς καὶ ἑβδομήκοντα καὶ διακόσιοι
et fuerunt masculi per nomina sua , a mense uno et supra , viginti duo millia ducenti septuaginta tres .
ወኮነ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ በኵረ ፡ ተባዕት ፡ በበኍልቈ ፡ አስማቲሆሙ ፡ ዘእም፩ወርኅ ፡ ወላዕሉ ፡ እምኔሁ ፡ ኮነ ፡ ኍለቊሆሙ ፡ ፪፻-፻፳፻፪፻፸ [፫ ] ።
All the firstborn males according to the number of names from a month old and upward, of those who were counted of them, were twenty-two thousand two hundred seventy-three.
3:44 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen , dicens :
ወነበቦ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ወይቤሎ ፤
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
3:45 ⧉ ⤴︎ קַ֣ח אֶת ־הַלְוִיִּ֗ם תַּ֤חַת כׇּל ־בְּכוֹר֙ בִּבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְאֶת ־בֶּהֱמַ֥ת הַלְוִיִּ֖ם תַּ֣חַת בְּהֶמְתָּ֑ם וְהָיוּ ־לִ֥י הַלְוִיִּ֖ם אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה ׃
λαβὲ τοὺς Λευίτας ἀντὶ πάντων τῶν πρωτοτόκων τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ καὶ τὰ κτήνη τῶν Λευιτῶν ἀντὶ τῶν κτηνῶν αὐτῶν καὶ ἔσονται ἐμοὶ οἱ Λευῖται ἐγὼ κύριος
Tolle Levitas pro primogenitis filiorum Israël , et pecora Levitarum pro pecoribus eorum , eruntque Levitae mei . Ego sum Dominus .
ንሥኦሙ ፡ ለሌዋውያን ፡ ህየንተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ በኵሮሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወእንስሳሆሙኒ ፡ ለሌዋውያን ፡ ህየንተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ እንስሳሆሙ ፡ ወይኩኑኒ ፡ ሊተ ፡ ሌዋውያን ፡ እስመ ፡ አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
“Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites instead of their livestock; and the Levites shall be mine. I am Yahweh.
3:46 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֵת֙ פְּדוּיֵ֣י הַשְּׁלֹשָׁ֔ה וְהַשִּׁבְעִ֖ים וְהַמָּאתָ֑יִם הָעֹֽדְפִים֙ עַל ־הַלְוִיִּ֔ם מִבְּכ֖וֹר בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ τὰ λύτρα τριῶν καὶ ἑβδομήκοντα καὶ διακοσίων οἱ πλεονάζοντες παρὰ τοὺς Λευίτας ἀπὸ τῶν πρωτοτόκων τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ
In pretio autem ducentorum septuaginta trium , qui excedunt numerum Levitarum de primogenitis filiorum Israël ,
ወቤዛሆሙኒ ፡ ለእልክቱ ፡ ፪፻፸ [፫ ]እለ ፡ ፈድፈደ ፡ እምነ ፡ ሌዋውያን ፡ በኵሮሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ።
For the redemption of the two hundred seventy-three of the firstborn of the children of Israel who exceed the number of the Levites,
3:47 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְלָקַחְתָּ֗ חֲמֵ֧שֶׁת חֲמֵ֛שֶׁת שְׁקָלִ֖ים לַגֻּלְגֹּ֑לֶת בְּשֶׁ֤קֶל הַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙ תִּקָּ֔ח עֶשְׂרִ֥ים גֵּרָ֖ה הַשָּֽׁקֶל ׃
καὶ λήμψῃ πέντε σίκλους κατὰ κεφαλήν κατὰ τὸ δίδραχμον τὸ ἅγιον λήμψῃ εἴκοσι ὀβολοὺς τοῦ σίκλου
accipies quinque siclos per singula capita ad mensuram sanctuarii (siclus habet viginti obolos ) :
ትነሥእ ፡ ለለ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ በዲድርክሙ ፡ ዘቅዱስ ፡ ትነሥእ ፡ ዕሥራ ፡ [ኦቦ ]ሊ ፡ ዘሰቅሎ ።
you shall take five shekels apiece for each one; according to the shekel of the sanctuary you shall take them (the shekel is twenty gerahs );
3:48 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְנָתַתָּ֣ה הַכֶּ֔סֶף לְאַהֲרֹ֖ן וּלְבָנָ֑יו פְּדוּיֵ֕י הָעֹדְפִ֖ים בָּהֶֽם ׃
καὶ δώσεις τὸ ἀργύριον Ααρων καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ λύτρα τῶν πλεοναζόντων ἐν αὐτοῖς
dabisque pecuniam Aaron et filiis ejus pretium eorum qui supra sunt .
ወትሁቦሙ ፡ ወርቆ ፡ ለአሮን ፡ ወለደቂቁ ፡ ቤዛሆሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ፈድፈዱ ፡ እምኔሆሙ ።
and you shall give the money, with which their remainder is redeemed, to Aaron and to his sons.”
3:49 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּקַּ֣ח מֹשֶׁ֔ה אֵ֖ת כֶּ֣סֶף הַפִּדְי֑וֹם מֵאֵת֙ הָעֹ֣דְפִ֔ים עַ֖ל פְּדוּיֵ֥י הַלְוִיִּֽם ׃
καὶ ἔλαβεν Μωυσῆς τὸ ἀργύριον τὰ λύτρα τῶν πλεοναζόντων εἰς τὴν ἐκλύτρωσιν τῶν Λευιτῶν
Tulit igitur Moyses pecuniam eorum , qui fuerant amplius , et quos redemerant a Levitis ,
ወነሥአ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ውእተ ፡ ወርቀ ፡ ዘቤዛሆሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ፈድፈዱ ፡ እምነ ፡ ቤዛሆሙ ፡ ለሌዋውያን ፡ ዘበኵሮሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ።
Moses took the redemption money from those who exceeded the number of those who were redeemed by the Levites;
3:50 ⧉ ⤴︎ מֵאֵ֗ת בְּכ֛וֹר בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לָקַ֣ח אֶת ־הַכָּ֑סֶף חֲמִשָּׁ֨ה וְשִׁשִּׁ֜ים וּשְׁלֹ֥שׁ מֵא֛וֹת וָאֶ֖לֶף בְּשֶׁ֥קֶל הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ ׃
παρὰ τῶν πρωτοτόκων τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἔλαβεν τὸ ἀργύριον χιλίους τριακοσίους ἑξήκοντα πέντε σίκλους κατὰ τὸν σίκλον τὸν ἅγιον
pro primogenitis filiorum Israël , mille trecentorum sexaginta quinque siclorum juxta pondus sanctuarii :
ወነሥአ ፡ ወርቀ ፡ ፲፻ [፫ ]፻፷፭ሰቅሎ ፡ በሰቅሎ ፡ ዘቅዱስ ።
from the firstborn of the children of Israel he took the money, one thousand three hundred sixty-five shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary;
3:51 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּתֵּ֨ן מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶת ־כֶּ֧סֶף הַפְּדֻיִ֛ם לְאַהֲרֹ֥ן וּלְבָנָ֖יו עַל ־פִּ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶת ־מֹשֶֽׁה ׃ {פ}
καὶ ἔδωκεν Μωυσῆς τὰ λύτρα τῶν πλεοναζόντων Ααρων καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ διὰ φωνῆς κυρίου ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ
et dedit eam Aaron et filiis ejus juxta verbum quod praeceperat sibi Dominus .
ወወሀበ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ውእተ ፡ ወርቀ ፡ ዘቤዛሆሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ፈድፈዱ ፡ ለአሮን ፡ ወለደቂቁ ፡ በቃለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በከመ ፡ አዘዞ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ።
and Moses gave the redemption money to Aaron and to his sons, according to Yahweh’s word, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
