Hae sunt generationes Aaron et Moysi in die qua locutus est Dominus ad Moysen in monte Sinai .
Now this is the history of the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that Yahweh spoke with Moses in Mount Sinai.
耶和華在西奈山曉諭摩西的日子，亞倫和摩西的後代如下：

Et haec nomina filiorum Aaron : primogenitus ejus Nadab , deinde Abiu , et Eleazar , et Ithamar .
These are the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
亞倫的兒子，長子名叫拿答，還有亞比戶、以利亞撒、以他瑪。

Haec nomina filiorum Aaron sacerdotum qui uncti sunt , et quorum repletae et consecratae manus ut sacerdotio fungerentur .
These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests who were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest’s office.
這是亞倫兒子的名字，都是受膏的祭司，是摩西叫他們承接聖職供祭司職分的。

Mortui sunt enim Nadab et Abiu cum offerrent ignem alienum in conspectu Domini in deserto Sinai , absque liberis : functique sunt sacerdotio Eleazar et Ithamar coram Aaron patre suo .
Nadab and Abihu died before Yahweh when they offered strange fire before Yahweh in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children. Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest’s office in the presence of Aaron their father.
拿答、亞比戶在西奈的曠野向耶和華獻凡火的時候就死在耶和華面前了。他們也沒有兒子。以利亞撒、以他瑪在他們的父親亞倫面前供祭司的職分。

Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen , dicens :
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

Applica tribum Levi , et fac stare in conspectu Aaron sacerdotis ut ministrent ei , et excubent ,
“Bring the tribe of Levi near, and set them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister to him.
「你使利未支派近前來，站在祭司亞倫面前好服事他，
3:7
et observent quidquid ad cultum pertinet multitudinis coram tabernaculo testimonii ,
They shall keep his requirements, and the requirements of the whole congregation before the Tent of Meeting, to do the service of the tabernacle.
替他和會眾在會幕前守所吩咐的，辦理帳幕的事。
3:8
et custodiant vasa tabernaculi , servientes in ministerio ejus .
They shall keep all the furnishings of the Tent of Meeting, and the obligations of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.
又要看守會幕的器具，並守所吩咐以色列人的，辦理帳幕的事。
3:9
Dabisque dono Levitas
You shall give the Levites to Aaron and to his sons. They are wholly given to him on the behalf of the children of Israel.
你要將利未人給亞倫和他的兒子，因為他們是從以色列人中選出來給他的。
3:10
Aaron et filiis ejus , quibus traditi sunt a filiis Israël . Aaron autem et filios ejus constitues super cultum sacerdotii . Externus , qui ad ministrandum accesserit , morietur .
You shall appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall keep their priesthood, but the stranger who comes near shall be put to death.”
你要囑咐亞倫和他的兒子謹守自己祭司的職任。近前來的外人必被治死。」

Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen , dicens :
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

Ego tuli Levitas a filiis Israël pro omni primogenito , qui aperit vulvam in filiis Israël , eruntque Levitae mei .
“Behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn who open the womb among the children of Israel; and the Levites shall be mine,
「我從以色列人中揀選了利未人，代替以色列人一切頭生的；利未人要歸我。
3:13
Meum est enim omne primogenitum : ex quo percussi primogenitos in terra Aegypti , sanctificavi mihi quidquid primum nascitur in Israël : ab homine usque ad pecus , mei sunt . Ego Dominus .
for all the firstborn are mine. On the day that I struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I made holy to me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and animal. They shall be mine. I am Yahweh.”
因為凡頭生的是我的；我在埃及地擊殺一切頭生的那日就把以色列中一切頭生的，連人帶牲畜都分別為聖歸我；他們定要屬我。我是耶和華。」
3:14
Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen in deserto Sinai , dicens :
Yahweh spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,
耶和華在西奈的曠野曉諭摩西說：

Numera filios Levi per domos patrum suorum et familias , omnem masculum ab uno mense et supra .
“Count the children of Levi by their fathers’ houses, by their families. You shall count every male from a month old and upward.”
「你要照利未人的宗族、家室數點他們。凡一個月以外的男子都要數點。」
3:16
Numeravit Moyses , ut praeceperat Dominus ,
Moses counted them according to Yahweh’s word, as he was commanded.
於是摩西照耶和華所吩咐的數點他們。
3:17
et inventi sunt filii Levi per nomina sua , Gerson et Caath et Merari .
These were the sons of Levi by their names: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
利未眾子的名字是革順、哥轄、米拉利。

Filii Gerson : Lebni et Semei .
These are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families: Libni and Shimei.
革順的兒子，按着家室，是立尼、示每。
3:19
Filii Caath : Amram et Jesaar , Hebron et Oziel .
The sons of Kohath by their families: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
哥轄的兒子，按着家室，是暗蘭、以斯哈、希伯倫、烏薛。

Filii Merari : Moholi et Musi .
The sons of Merari by their families: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their fathers’ houses.

De Gerson fuere familiae duae , Lebnitica , et Semeitica :
Of Gershon was the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimeites. These are the families of the Gershonites.

quarum numeratus est populus sexus masculini ab uno mense et supra , septem millia quingenti .
Those who were counted of them, according to the number of all the males from a month old and upward, even those who were counted of them were seven thousand five hundred.

The families of the Gershonites shall encamp behind the tabernacle westward.

Eliasaph the son of Lael shall be the prince of the fathers’ house of the Gershonites.

Et habebunt excubias in tabernaculo foederis ,
The duty of the sons of Gershon in the Tent of Meeting shall be the tabernacle, the tent, its covering, the screen for the door of the Tent of Meeting,

Cognatio Caath habebit populos Amramitas et Jesaaritas et Hebronitas et Ozielitas . Hae sunt familiae Caathitarum recensitae per nomina sua .
Of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, the family of the Izharites, the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites. These are the families of the Kohathites.
屬哥轄的，有暗蘭族、以斯哈族、希伯倫族、烏薛族。這是哥轄的諸族。
3:28
Omnes generis masculini ab uno mense et supra , octo millia sexcenti habebunt excubias sanctuarii ,
According to the number of all the males from a month old and upward, there were eight thousand six hundred keeping the requirements of the sanctuary.
按所有男子的數目，從一個月以外看守聖所的，共有八千六百名。
3:29
et castrametabuntur ad meridianam plagam .
The families of the sons of Kohath shall encamp on the south side of the tabernacle.
哥轄兒子的諸族要在帳幕的南邊安營。
3:30
Princepsque eorum erit Elisaphan filius Oziel :
The prince of the fathers’ house of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.
烏薛的兒子以利撒反作哥轄宗族家室的首領。
3:31
et custodient arcam , mensamque et candelabrum , altaria et vasa sanctuarii , in quibus ministratur , et velum , cunctamque hujuscemodi supellectilem .
Their duty shall be the ark, the table, the lamp stand, the altars, the vessels of the sanctuary with which they minister, the screen, and all its service.
他們所要看守的是約櫃、桌子、燈臺、兩座壇與聖所內使用的器皿，並簾子和一切使用之物。

Princeps autem principum Levitarum Eleazar filius Aaron sacerdotis , erit super excubitores custodiae sanctuarii .
Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be prince of the princes of the Levites, with the oversight of those who keep the requirements of the sanctuary.
祭司亞倫的兒子以利亞撒作利未人眾首領的領袖，要監察那些看守聖所的人。

At vero de Merari erunt populi Moholitae et Musitae recensiti per nomina sua :
Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites and the family of the Mushites. These are the families of Merari.

omnes generis masculini ab uno mense et supra , sex millia ducenti .
Those who were counted of them, according to the number of all the males from a month old and upward, were six thousand two hundred.

Princeps eorum Suriel filius Abihaiel : in plaga septentrionali castrametabuntur .
The prince of the fathers’ house of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail. They shall encamp on the north side of the tabernacle.

Erunt sub custodia eorum tabulae tabernaculi et vectes , et columnae ac bases earum , et omnia quae ad cultum hujuscemodi pertinent :
The appointed duty of the sons of Merari shall be the tabernacle’s boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets, all its instruments, all its service,
米拉利子孫的職分是看守帳幕的板、閂、柱子、帶卯的座，和帳幕一切所使用的器具，

columnaeque atrii per circuitum cum basibus suis , et paxilli cum funibus .
the pillars of the court around it, their sockets, their pins, and their cords.

Castrametabuntur ante tabernaculum foederis , id est , ad orientalem plagam , Moyses et Aaron cum filiis suis , habentes custodiam sanctuarii in medio filiorum Israël . Quisquis alienus accesserit , morietur .
Those who encamp before the tabernacle eastward, in front of the Tent of Meeting toward the sunrise, shall be Moses, with Aaron and his sons, keeping the requirements of the sanctuary for the duty of the children of Israel. The outsider who comes near shall be put to death.
在帳幕前東邊，向日出之地安營的是摩西、亞倫，和亞倫的兒子。他們看守聖所，替以色列人守耶和華所吩咐的。近前來的外人必被治死。
3:39
Omnes Levitae , quos numeraverunt Moyses et Aaron juxta praeceptum Domini per familias suas in genere masculino a mense uno et supra , fuerunt viginti duo millia .
All who were counted of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron counted at the commandment of Yahweh, by their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty-two thousand.
凡被數的利未人，就是摩西、亞倫照耶和華吩咐所數的，按着家室，從一個月以外的男子，共有二萬二千名。
3:40
Et ait Dominus ad Moysen : Numera primogenitos sexus masculini de filiis Israël ab uno mense et supra , et habebis summam eorum .
Yahweh said to Moses, “Count all the firstborn males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.
耶和華對摩西說：「你要從以色列人中數點一個月以外、凡頭生的男子，把他們的名字記下。
3:41
Tollesque Levitas mihi pro omni primogenito filiorum Israël : ego sum Dominus : et pecora eorum pro universis primogenitis pecorum filiorum Israël .
You shall take the Levites for me—I am Yahweh—instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the livestock of the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the livestock of the children of Israel.”
我是耶和華。你要揀選利未人歸我，代替以色列人所有頭生的，也取利未人的牲畜代替以色列所有頭生的牲畜。」
3:42
Recensuit Moyses , sicut praeceperat Dominus , primogenitos filiorum Israël :
Moses counted, as Yahweh commanded him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel.
摩西就照耶和華所吩咐的把以色列人頭生的都數點了。
3:43
et fuerunt masculi per nomina sua , a mense uno et supra , viginti duo millia ducenti septuaginta tres .
All the firstborn males according to the number of names from a month old and upward, of those who were counted of them, were twenty-two thousand two hundred seventy-three.
按人名的數目，從一個月以外、凡頭生的男子，共有二萬二千二百七十三名。
3:44
Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen , dicens :
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
耶和華曉諭摩西說：
3:45
Tolle Levitas pro primogenitis filiorum Israël , et pecora Levitarum pro pecoribus eorum , eruntque Levitae mei . Ego sum Dominus .
“Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites instead of their livestock; and the Levites shall be mine. I am Yahweh.
「你揀選利未人代替以色列人所有頭生的，也取利未人的牲畜代替以色列人的牲畜。利未人要歸我；我是耶和華。
3:46
In pretio autem ducentorum septuaginta trium , qui excedunt numerum Levitarum de primogenitis filiorum Israël ,
For the redemption of the two hundred seventy-three of the firstborn of the children of Israel who exceed the number of the Levites,
以色列人中頭生的男子比利未人多二百七十三個，必當將他們贖出來。
3:47
accipies quinque siclos per singula capita ad mensuram sanctuarii (siclus habet viginti obolos ) :
you shall take five shekels apiece for each one; according to the shekel of the sanctuary you shall take them (the shekel is twenty gerahs );
你要按人丁，照聖所的平，每人取贖銀五舍客勒（一舍客勒是二十季拉），
3:48
dabisque pecuniam Aaron et filiis ejus pretium eorum qui supra sunt .
and you shall give the money, with which their remainder is redeemed, to Aaron and to his sons.”
把那多餘之人的贖銀交給亞倫和他的兒子。」

Tulit igitur Moyses pecuniam eorum , qui fuerant amplius , et quos redemerant a Levitis ,
Moses took the redemption money from those who exceeded the number of those who were redeemed by the Levites;
於是摩西從那被利未人所贖以外的人取了贖銀。
3:50
pro primogenitis filiorum Israël , mille trecentorum sexaginta quinque siclorum juxta pondus sanctuarii :
from the firstborn of the children of Israel he took the money, one thousand three hundred sixty-five shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary;
從以色列人頭生的所取之銀，按聖所的平，有一千三百六十五舍客勒。
3:51
et dedit eam Aaron et filiis ejus juxta verbum quod praeceperat sibi Dominus .
and Moses gave the redemption money to Aaron and to his sons, according to Yahweh’s word, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
摩西照耶和華的話把這贖銀給亞倫和他的兒子，正如耶和華所吩咐的。
