149:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ הַ֥לְלוּ ־יָ֨הּ ׀ שִׁ֣ירוּ לַֽ֭יהֹוָה שִׁ֣יר חָדָ֑שׁ תְּ֝הִלָּת֗וֹ בִּקְהַ֥ל חֲסִידִֽים ׃
αλληλουια ᾄσατε τῷ κυρίῳ ᾆσμα καινόν ἡ αἴνεσις αὐτοῦ ἐν ἐκκλησίᾳ ὁσίων
Alleluja . Cantate Domino canticum novum ; laus ejus in ecclesia sanctorum .
ሀሌሉያ ። ሰብሕዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ስብሐተ ፡ ሐዲሰ ፤ ስብሐቲሁ ፡ በማኅበረ ፡ ጻድቃኑ ።
Praise Yahweh! Sing to Yahweh a new song, his praise in the assembly of the saints.
149:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ יִשְׂמַ֣ח יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל בְּעֹשָׂ֑יו בְּנֵֽי ־צִ֝יּ֗וֹן יָגִ֥ילוּ בְמַלְכָּֽם ׃
εὐφρανθήτω Ισραηλ ἐπὶ τῷ ποιήσαντι αὐτόν καὶ υἱοὶ Σιων ἀγαλλιάσθωσαν ἐπὶ τῷ βασιλεῖ αὐτῶν
Laetetur Israël in eo qui fecit eum , et filii Sion exsultent in rege suo .
ይትፌሣሕ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ በፈጣሪሁ ፤ ወደቂቀ ፡ ጽዮን ፡ ይትሐሠዩ ፡ በንጉሦሙ ።
Let Israel rejoice in him who made them. Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
149:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ יְהַלְל֣וּ שְׁמ֣וֹ בְמָח֑וֹל בְּתֹ֥ף וְ֝כִנּ֗וֹר יְזַמְּרוּ ־לֽוֹ ׃
αἰνεσάτωσαν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ ἐν χορῷ ἐν τυμπάνῳ καὶ ψαλτηρίῳ ψαλάτωσαν αὐτῷ
Laudent nomen ejus in choro ; in tympano et psalterio psallant ei .
ወይሴብሑ ፡ ለስሙ ፡ በትፍሥሕት ፤ በከብሮ ፡ ወበመዝሙር ፡ ይዜምሩ ፡ ሎቱ ።
Let them praise his name in the dance! Let them sing praises to him with tambourine and harp!
149:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּֽי ־רוֹצֶ֣ה יְהֹוָ֣ה בְּעַמּ֑וֹ יְפָאֵ֥ר עֲ֝נָוִ֗ים בִּישׁוּעָֽה ׃
ὅτι εὐδοκεῖ κύριος ἐν λαῷ αὐτοῦ καὶ ὑψώσει πραεῖς ἐν σωτηρίᾳ
Quia beneplacitum est Domino in populo suo , et exaltabit mansuetos in salutem .
እስመ ፡ ሠምረ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በሕዝብ ፤ ወያሌዕሎሙ ፡ ለየዋሃን ፡ በአድኅኖቱ ።
For Yahweh takes pleasure in his people. He crowns the humble with salvation.
149:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ יַעְלְז֣וּ חֲסִידִ֣ים בְּכָב֑וֹד יְ֝רַנְּנ֗וּ עַל ־מִשְׁכְּבוֹתָֽם ׃
καυχήσονται ὅσιοι ἐν δόξῃ καὶ ἀγαλλιάσονται ἐπὶ τῶν κοιτῶν αὐτῶν
Exsultabunt sancti in gloria ; laetabuntur in cubilibus suis .
ይትሜክሑ ፡ ጻድቃን ፡ በክብሩ ፤ ወይትሐሠዩ ፡ በዲበ ፡ ምስካቢሆሙ ።
Let the saints rejoice in honor. Let them sing for joy on their beds.
149:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ רוֹמְמ֣וֹת אֵ֭ל בִּגְרוֹנָ֑ם וְחֶ֖רֶב פִּיפִיּ֣וֹת בְּיָדָֽם ׃
αἱ ὑψώσεις τοῦ θεοῦ ἐν τῷ λάρυγγι αὐτῶν καὶ ῥομφαῖαι δίστομοι ἐν ταῖς χερσὶν αὐτῶν
Exaltationes Dei in gutture eorum , et gladii ancipites in manibus eorum :
ወያሌዕልዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ በጐራዒቶሙ ፤ ሰይፍ ፡ ዘክልኤ ፡ አፉሁ ፡ ውስተ ፡ እደዊሆሙ ።
May the high praises of God be in their mouths, and a two-edged sword in their hand,
149:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת נְ֭קָמָה בַּגּוֹיִ֑ם תּ֝וֹכֵח֗וֹת בַּלְאֻמִּֽים ׃
τοῦ ποιῆσαι ἐκδίκησιν ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν ἐλεγμοὺς ἐν τοῖς λαοῖς
ad faciendam vindictam in nationibus , increpationes in populis ;
ከመ ፡ ይግበር ፡ በቀለ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አሕዛብ ፤ ወከመ ፡ ይዛለፎሙ ፡ ለአሕዛብ ።
to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples;
149:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ לֶאְסֹ֣ר מַלְכֵיהֶ֣ם בְּזִקִּ֑ים וְ֝נִכְבְּדֵיהֶ֗ם בְּכַבְלֵ֥י בַרְזֶֽל ׃
τοῦ δῆσαι τοὺς βασιλεῖς αὐτῶν ἐν πέδαις καὶ τοὺς ἐνδόξους αὐτῶν ἐν χειροπέδαις σιδηραῖς
ad alligandos reges eorum in compedibus , et nobiles eorum in manicis ferreis ;
ከመ ፡ ይእሥሮሙ ፡ ለነገሥቶሙ ፡ በመዋቅሕት ፤ ወለክቡራኒሆሙኒ ፡ በእደ ፡ ሰናስለ ፡ ኀጺን ።
to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
149:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ לַעֲשׂ֤וֹת בָּהֶ֨ם ׀ מִשְׁפָּ֬ט כָּת֗וּב הָדָ֣ר ה֭וּא לְכׇל ־חֲסִידָ֗יו הַֽלְלוּ ־יָֽהּ ׃ {פ}
τοῦ ποιῆσαι ἐν αὐτοῖς κρίμα ἔγγραπτον δόξα αὕτη ἐστὶν πᾶσι τοῖς ὁσίοις αὐτοῦ
ut faciant in eis judicium conscriptum : gloria haec est omnibus sanctis ejus . Alleluja .
ከመ ፡ ይግብር ፡ ኵነኔ ፡ ዘጽሑፍ ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ ፡ ክብር ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ዛቲ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ጻድቃኑ ።
to execute on them the written judgment. All his saints have this honor. Praise Yah!
