72:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ לִשְׁלֹמֹ֨ה ׀ אֱֽלֹהִ֗ים מִ֭שְׁפָּטֶיךָ לְמֶ֣לֶךְ תֵּ֑ן וְצִדְקָתְךָ֥ לְבֶן ־מֶֽלֶךְ ׃
εἰς Σαλωμων ὁ θεός τὸ κρίμα σου τῷ βασιλεῖ δὸς καὶ τὴν δικαιοσύνην σου τῷ υἱῷ τοῦ βασιλέως
Psalmus , in Salomonem .
በአንተ ፡ ሰሎሞን ። እግዚኦ ፡ ኵነኔከ ፡ ሀቦ ፡ ለንጉሥ ፤ ወጽድቅከኒ ፡ ለወልደ ፡ ንጉሥ ።
God, give the king your justice; your righteousness to the royal son.
72:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ יָדִ֣ין עַמְּךָ֣ בְצֶ֑דֶק וַעֲנִיֶּ֥יךָ בְמִשְׁפָּֽט ׃
κρίνειν τὸν λαόν σου ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ καὶ τοὺς πτωχούς σου ἐν κρίσει
Deus , judicium tuum regi da , et justitiam tuam filio regis ; judicare populum tuum in justitia , et pauperes tuos in judicio .
ከመ ፡ ይኰንኖሙ ፡ ለሕዝብከ ፡ በጽድቅ ፤ ወለነዳያኒከ ፡ በፍትሕ ።
He will judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice.
72:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ יִשְׂא֤וּ הָרִ֓ים שָׁ֘ל֥וֹם לָעָ֑ם וּ֝גְבָע֗וֹת בִּצְדָקָֽה ׃
ἀναλαβέτω τὰ ὄρη εἰρήνην τῷ λαῷ σου καὶ οἱ βουνοὶ ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ
Suscipiant montes pacem populo , et colles justitiam .
ይትወከፉ ፡ አድባር ፡ ወአውግር ፡ ሰላመ ፡ ሕዝብከ ።
The mountains shall bring prosperity to the people. The hills bring the fruit of righteousness.
72:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ יִשְׁפֹּ֤ט ׀ עֲֽנִיֵּי ־עָ֗ם י֭וֹשִׁיעַ לִבְנֵ֣י אֶבְי֑וֹן וִ֖ידַכֵּ֣א עוֹשֵֽׁק ׃
κρινεῖ τοὺς πτωχοὺς τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ σώσει τοὺς υἱοὺς τῶν πενήτων καὶ ταπεινώσει συκοφάντην
Judicabit pauperes populi , et salvos faciet filios pauperum , et humiliabit calumniatorem .
ኰንን ፡ በጽድቅ ፡ ነዳያነ ፡ ሕዝብከ ፡ ወአድኅኖሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ ምስኪናኒከ ፤ ወአኅስሮ ፡ ለዕቡይ ።
He will judge the poor of the people. He will save the children of the needy, and will break the oppressor in pieces.
72:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ יִירָא֥וּךָ עִם ־שָׁ֑מֶשׁ וְלִפְנֵ֥י יָ֝רֵ֗חַ דּ֣וֹר דּוֹרִֽים ׃
καὶ συμπαραμενεῖ τῷ ἡλίῳ καὶ πρὸ τῆς σελήνης γενεὰς γενεῶν
Et permanebit cum sole , et ante lunam , in generatione et generationem .
ወይጽናሕ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ፀሐይ ፤ እምቅድመ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ ለትውልደ ፡ ትውልድ ።
They shall fear you while the sun endures; and as long as the moon, throughout all generations.
72:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ יֵ֭רֵד כְּמָטָ֣ר עַל ־גֵּ֑ז כִּ֝רְבִיבִ֗ים זַרְזִ֥יף אָֽרֶץ ׃
καὶ καταβήσεται ὡς ὑετὸς ἐπὶ πόκον καὶ ὡσεὶ σταγόνες στάζουσαι ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν
Descendet sicut pluvia in vellus , et sicut stillicidia stillantia super terram .
ወይወርድ ፡ ከመ ፡ ጠል ፡ ውስተ ፡ ፀምር ፤ ወከመ ፡ ነጠብጣብ ፡ ዘያንጠበጥብ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ምድር ።
He will come down like rain on the mown grass, as showers that water the earth.
72:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ יִֽפְרַח ־בְּיָמָ֥יו צַדִּ֑יק וְרֹ֥ב שָׁ֝ל֗וֹם עַד ־בְּלִ֥י יָרֵֽחַ ׃
ἀνατελεῖ ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις αὐτοῦ δικαιοσύνη καὶ πλῆθος εἰρήνης ἕως οὗ ἀνταναιρεθῇ ἡ σελήνη
Orietur in diebus ejus justitia , et abundantia pacis , donec auferatur luna .
ወይሠርጽ ፡ ጽድቅ ፡ በመዋዕሊሁ ፤ ወብዙኅ ፡ ሰላመ ፡ እስከ ፡ ይኀልፍ ፡ ወርኅ ።
In his days, the righteous shall flourish, and abundance of peace, until the moon is no more.
72:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְ֭יֵרְדְּ מִיָּ֣ם עַד ־יָ֑ם וּ֝מִנָּהָ֗ר עַד ־אַפְסֵי ־אָֽרֶץ ׃
καὶ κατακυριεύσει ἀπὸ θαλάσσης ἕως θαλάσσης καὶ ἀπὸ ποταμοῦ ἕως περάτων τῆς οἰκουμένης
Et dominabitur a mari usque ad mare , et a flumine usque ad terminos orbis terrarum .
ወይኴንን ፡ እምባሕር ፡ እስከ ፡ ባሕር ፤ ወእምአፍላግ ፡ እስከ ፡ አጽናፈ ፡ ዓለም ።
He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, from the River to the ends of the earth.
72:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ לְ֭פָנָיו יִכְרְע֣וּ צִיִּ֑ים וְ֝אֹיְבָ֗יו עָפָ֥ר יְלַחֵֽכוּ ׃
ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ προπεσοῦνται Αἰθίοπες καὶ οἱ ἐχθροὶ αὐτοῦ χοῦν λείξουσιν
Coram illo procident Aethiopes , et inimici ejus terram lingent .
ይገንዩ ፡ ቅድሜሁ ፡ ኢትዮጵያ ፤ ወጸላእቲሁ ፡ ሐመደ ፡ ይቀምሑ ።
Those who dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him. His enemies shall lick the dust.
72:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ מַלְכֵ֬י תַרְשִׁ֣ישׁ וְ֭אִיִּים מִנְחָ֣ה יָשִׁ֑יבוּ מַלְכֵ֥י שְׁבָ֥א וּ֝סְבָ֗א אֶשְׁכָּ֥ר יַקְרִֽיבוּ ׃
βασιλεῖς Θαρσις καὶ αἱ νῆσοι δῶρα προσοίσουσιν βασιλεῖς Ἀράβων καὶ Σαβα δῶρα προσάξουσιν
Reges Tharsis et insulae munera offerent ; reges Arabum et Saba dona adducent :
ነገሥተ ፡ ተርሴስ ፡ ወደሰያት ፡ አምኃ ፡ ያበውኡ ፤ ነገሥተ ፡ ሳባ ፡ ወዐረብ ፡ ጋዳ ፡ ያመጽኡ ።
The kings of Tarshish and of the islands will bring tribute. The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
72:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְיִשְׁתַּחֲווּ ־ל֥וֹ כׇל ־מְלָכִ֑ים כׇּל ־גּוֹיִ֥ם יַעַבְדֽוּהוּ ׃
καὶ προσκυνήσουσιν αὐτῷ πάντες οἱ βασιλεῖς πάντα τὰ ἔθνη δουλεύσουσιν αὐτῷ
et adorabunt eum omnes reges terrae ; omnes gentes servient ei .
ወይሰግዱ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ ነገሥተ ፡ ምድር ፤ ወይትቀነዩ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ አሕዛብ ።
Yes, all kings shall fall down before him. All nations shall serve him.
72:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּֽי ־יַ֭צִּיל אֶבְי֣וֹן מְשַׁוֵּ֑עַ וְ֝עָנִ֗י וְֽאֵין ־עֹזֵ֥ר לֽוֹ ׃
ὅτι ἐρρύσατο πτωχὸν ἐκ χειρὸς δυνάστου καὶ πένητα ᾧ οὐχ ὑπῆρχεν βοηθός
Quia liberabit pauperem a potente , et pauperem cui non erat adjutor .
እስመ ፡ አድኀኖ ፡ ለነዳይ ፡ እምእደ ፡ ዘይትዔገሎ ፤ ለምስኪን ፡ ዘአልቦ ፡ ረዳኤ ።
For he will deliver the needy when he cries; the poor, who has no helper.
72:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ יָ֭חֹס עַל ־דַּ֣ל וְאֶבְי֑וֹן וְנַפְשׁ֖וֹת אֶבְיוֹנִ֣ים יוֹשִֽׁיעַ ׃
φείσεται πτωχοῦ καὶ πένητος καὶ ψυχὰς πενήτων σώσει
Parcet pauperi et inopi , et animas pauperum salvas faciet .
ወይምሕክ ፡ ነዳየ ፡ ወምስኪነ ፤ ወያድኅን ፡ ነፍሰ ፡ ነዳያን ።
He will have pity on the poor and needy. He will save the souls of the needy.
72:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ מִתּ֣וֹךְ וּ֭מֵחָמָס יִגְאַ֣ל נַפְשָׁ֑ם וְיֵיקַ֖ר דָּמָ֣ם בְּעֵינָֽיו ׃
ἐκ τόκου καὶ ἐξ ἀδικίας λυτρώσεται τὰς ψυχὰς αὐτῶν καὶ ἔντιμον τὸ ὄνομα αὐτῶν ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ
Ex usuris et iniquitate redimet animas eorum , et honorabile nomen eorum coram illo .
እምርዴ ፡ ወእምትዕግልት ፡ ያድኅና ፡ ለነፍሶሙ ፤ ወክቡር ፡ ስሙ ፡ በቅድሜሆሙ ።
He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence. Their blood will be precious in his sight.
72:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ וִיחִ֗י וְיִתֶּן ־לוֹ֮ מִזְּהַ֢ב שְׁ֫בָ֥א וְיִתְפַּלֵּ֣ל בַּעֲד֣וֹ תָמִ֑יד כׇּל ־הַ֝יּ֗וֹם יְבָרְכֶֽנְהוּ ׃
καὶ ζήσεται καὶ δοθήσεται αὐτῷ ἐκ τοῦ χρυσίου τῆς Ἀραβίας καὶ προσεύξονται περὶ αὐτοῦ διὰ παντός ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν εὐλογήσουσιν αὐτόν
Et vivet , et dabitur ei de auro Arabiae ; et adorabunt de ipso semper , tota die benedicent ei .
ወየሐዩ ፡ ወይሁብዎ ፡ እምወርቀ ፡ ዐረብ ፤ ወዘልፈ ፡ ይጼልዩ ፡ በእንቲአሁ ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ አሚረ ፡ ይድሕርዎ ።
He will live; and Sheba’s gold will be given to him. Men will pray for him continually. They will bless him all day long.
72:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ יְהִ֤י פִסַּת ־בַּ֨ר ׀ בָּאָרֶץ֮ בְּרֹ֢אשׁ הָ֫רִ֥ים יִרְעַ֣שׁ כַּלְּבָנ֣וֹן פִּרְי֑וֹ וְיָצִ֥יצוּ מֵ֝עִ֗יר כְּעֵ֣שֶׂב הָאָֽרֶץ ׃
ἔσται στήριγμα ἐν τῇ γῇ ἐπ’ ἄκρων τῶν ὀρέων ὑπεραρθήσεται ὑπὲρ τὸν Λίβανον ὁ καρπὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐξανθήσουσιν ἐκ πόλεως ὡσεὶ χόρτος τῆς γῆς
Et erit firmamentum in terra in summis montium ; superextolletur super Libanum fructus ejus , et florebunt de civitate sicut foenum terrae .
ወይከውን ፡ ምስማከ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ምድር ፡ ውስተ ፡ አርእስተ ፡ አድባር ፤ ወኡነውኅ ፡ እምአርህ ፡ ፍሬሁ ፡ ወይበቍል ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሀገር ፡ ከመ ፡ ሣዕረ ፡ ምድር ።
Abundance of grain shall be throughout the land. Its fruit sways like Lebanon. Let it flourish, thriving like the grass of the field.
72:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ יְהִ֤י שְׁמ֨וֹ ׀ לְֽעוֹלָ֗ם לִפְנֵי ־שֶׁמֶשׁ֮ (ינין ) [יִנּ֢וֹן ] שְׁ֫מ֥וֹ וְיִתְבָּ֥רְכוּ ב֑וֹ כׇּל ־גּוֹיִ֥ם יְאַשְּׁרֽוּהוּ ׃
ἔστω τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ εὐλογημένον εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας πρὸ τοῦ ἡλίου διαμενεῖ τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ καὶ εὐλογηθήσονται ἐν αὐτῷ πᾶσαι αἱ φυλαὶ τῆς γῆς πάντα τὰ ἔθνη μακαριοῦσιν αὐτόν
Sit nomen ejus benedictum in saecula ; ante solem permanet nomen ejus . Et benedicentur in ipso omnes tribus terrae ; omnes gentes magnificabunt eum .
ወይከውን ፡ ቡሩከ ፡ ስሙ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ እምቅድመ ፡ ፀሐይ ፡ ሀሎ ፡ ስሙ ፤
His name endures forever. His name continues as long as the sun. Men shall be blessed by him. All nations will call him blessed.
72:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ בָּר֤וּךְ ׀ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱ֭לֹהִים אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל עֹשֵׂ֖ה נִפְלָא֣וֹת לְבַדּֽוֹ ׃
εὐλογητὸς κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ ὁ ποιῶν θαυμάσια μόνος
Benedictus Dominus Deus Israël , qui facit mirabilia solus .
ወይትባረኩ ፡ ቦቱ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ አሕዛበ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወያስተበፅእዎ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ ሕዝብ ።
Praise be to Yahweh God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds.
72:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבָר֤וּךְ ׀ שֵׁ֥ם כְּבוֹד֗וֹ לְע֫וֹלָ֥ם וְיִמָּלֵ֣א כְ֭בוֹדוֹ אֶת ־כֹּ֥ל הָאָ֗רֶץ אָ֘מֵ֥ן ׀וְאָמֵֽן ׃
καὶ εὐλογητὸν τὸ ὄνομα τῆς δόξης αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα καὶ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος καὶ πληρωθήσεται τῆς δόξης αὐτοῦ πᾶσα ἡ γῆ γένοιτο γένοιτο
Et benedictum nomen majestatis ejus in aeternum , et replebitur majestate ejus omnis terra . Fiat , fiat .
ይትባረክ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላከ ፡ እስራኤል ፤ ዘገብረ ፡ መንክረ ፡ ባሕቲቱ ።
Blessed be his glorious name forever! Let the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen and amen.
72:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ כׇּלּ֥וּ תְפִלּ֑וֹת דָּ֝וִ֗ד בֶּן ־יִשָֽׁי ׃
ἐξέλιπον οἱ ὕμνοι Δαυιδ τοῦ υἱοῦ Ιεσσαι
Defecerunt laudes David , filii Jesse .
ወይትባረክ ፡ ስመ ፡ ስብሓቲሁ ፡ ልዓለም ፡ ወለዓለመ ፡ ዓለም ፤ ወይምላእ ፡ ስብሐቲሁ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ምድር ፤ ለይኩን ፡ ለይኩን ። ኀልቀ ፡ መኅልይ ፡ ዘዳዊት ፡ ዘወልደ ፡ ኤሳይ ።
