8:1
ተወከለ፡ ኢዮብ፡ በእግዚአብሔር፡ ወአድኀኖ፡ እምኵሉ፡ ምንዳቤሁ፡ ዘአምጽአ፡ ቦቱ፡ ዲያብሎስ፡ ፀረ፡ እጓለ፡ እመሕያው፡ እስመ፡ አልቦ፡ ተሕክዮ፡ ባረኮ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አምላኩ፡ ወኢያኅዘነ፡ ልቦ፡ በዘበጽሐ፡ ላዕሌሁ፡ ምንዳቤ፡ እለ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወእግዚአብሔር፡ ነሥኦ፡ ወኮነ፡ ከመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ፈቃደ፡ ወበኵሉ፡ ይኩን፡ ቡርከ፡ ስሙ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ በሰማይ፡ ወምድር።
Job trusted in God, and He delivered him from all the tribulation that the Devil, the enemy of the children of men, brought upon him; for he did not cease to bless God his Creator, nor was his heart grieved by the tribulation that came upon him. He said: The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; as it pleased the Lord, so has it come to pass; blessed be the name of the Lord in heaven and on earth in all things. And because he did not let his heart be grieved, God saved him.
約伯倚靠神，神就救他脫離那魔鬼，就是世人之仇敵，加在他身上的一切患難；因為他不住地稱頌造他的主神，他的心也不因臨到他的患難憂傷。他說：賞賜的是耶和華，收取的也是耶和華；事情照耶和華所喜悅的臨到我了；願耶和華的名在天上地下凡事上得稱頌。因他不容自己的心憂傷，神就拯救了他。
8:2
ወሶበ፡ ርእየ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለኢዮብ፡ ከመ፡ ንጽሕት፡ ልቡ፡ ተወክፎ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በብዙኅ፡ ክብር።
And when God saw that Job's heart was pure, He received him with great honor.
神見約伯的心純潔，就大大尊榮地接納了他。
8:3
ወወሀቦ፡ ብዕለ፡ ዘይበዝኅ፡ እምቀዲሙ፡ ብዕሉ፡ ወፈወሶ፡ እምቍስሉ፡ በእንተ፡ ትዕግሥቱ፡ በኵሉ፡ ዘበጽሖ፡ እስመ፡ ኮነ፡ መስተዓግሠ፡ ፈድፋደ።
And He gave him wealth more abundant than his former wealth, and He healed him of his wounds, because of his patience in all that came upon him; for he was exceedingly patient.
神又賜給他比先前更多的財富，並醫好他的瘡傷，這是因他在凡臨到他的事上忍耐到底；因為他極其忍耐。
8:4
ወከማሁ፡ አንትሙኒ፡ ለእመ፡ ኮንክሙ፡ መስተዓግሣነ፡ እምዘይትፌነዉ፡ ፀባዒት፡ ላዕሌክሙ፡ ትከውኑ፡ ብፁዓነ።
And likewise you also—if you are patient amid that which the cruel ones send against you, you shall be blessed.
你們也是這樣——你們若在那兇惡者所差來攻擊你們的事上忍耐，就有福了。
8:5
ተዓገሡኬ፡ ወኢታንጥዩ፡ ልበክሙ፡ እምዘበጽሐ፡ ላዕሌክሙ፡ ምንዳቤ፡ ከመ፡ እግዚአ፡ ብሔር፡ ይኩንክሙ፡ ፀወነ፡ እምእለ፡ ይትቃረኑክሙ፡ ወላዕለ፡ ውሉድክሙ፡ ወለውለደ፡ ውልድክሙ፡ እምድኅሬክሙ።
Be patient, then, and do not let your hearts grieve over the tribulation that comes upon you, that God may be a refuge to you from those who set themselves against you, and over your children and your children's children after you.
所以你們要忍耐，不要叫你們的心因臨到你們的患難憂傷，好叫神作你們的避難所，抵擋那敵擋你們的人，並庇護你們的兒女，和你們身後子子孫孫。
8:6
ተወከልዎ፡ ወይከውንክሙ፡ ፀወነ፡ ፀውዕዎ፡ ወይከውነክሙ፡ ሰማዔ፡ ተሰፈውዎ፡ ወይከው፡ ንክሙ፡ መሐሬ፡ ሰአልዎ፡ ወይከውነክሙ፡ አቢ።
Trust in Him, and He shall be a refuge to you; call upon Him, and He shall be one who hears you; hope in Him, and He shall be merciful to you; ask of Him, and He shall be a Father to you.
你們要倚靠祂，祂就作你們的避難所；要呼求祂，祂就垂聽你們；要仰望祂，祂就憐憫你們；要祈求祂，祂就作你們的父。
8:7
ተዘከሩ፡ አስቴርሃ፡ ወመርደክዮስሃ፡ ውዮዲትሃ፡ ወጌዴዎንሃ፡ ወባርቅሃ፡ ወዲቦራሃ፡ ወሶምሶንሃ፡ ወዮፍታሔሃ።
Remember Esther and Mordecai, and Judith, and Gideon, and Barak, and Deborah, and Samson, and Jephthah,
你們要記念以斯帖和末底改，並猶滴、基甸、巴拉、底波拉、參孫、耶弗他，
8:8
ወባዕደንሂ፡ እለ፡ ከማሆሙ፡ አጥብኡ፡ ተወከሎ፡ በእግዚአብሔር፡ ወኢምዕዎሙ፡ ፀሮሙ።
and others like them who steadfastly trusted in God, and whose enemies did not prevail against them.
並其他像他們一樣堅定倚靠神的人，他們的仇敵都沒有勝過他們。
8:9
እለሰ፡ ይፈቅዱ፡ ይግበሩ፡ እኪተ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ፡ ትፈድዮ፡ እኪተ፡ እስመ፡ ጽድቅ፡ እግዚአ፡ ብሔር፡ ወኢያደሉ፡ ለገጽ፡ ለኵሎሙ፡ እለ፡ ይፈርህዎ፡ ወይገብሩ፡ ጽድቀ፡ የዓቅብ፡ ነፍሳቲሆሙ፡ ወይሁቦሙ፡ ክብረ፡ ወሞገሰ።
But upon those who desire to do evil, He shall requite evil; for God is righteous, and shows no partiality of person; but all who fear Him and do righteousness, He shall keep their souls, and shall give them honor and grace.
至於那些立意行惡害人的，祂必以惡報應他們；因為神是公義的，並不偏待人；惟有一切敬畏祂、行公義的，祂必保守他們的性命，賜給他們尊榮和恩寵。
8:10
ወያስተፌሥሖሙ፡ በበአቶሙ፡ ወበፀዓቶሙ፡ በሞቶሙ፡ ወበሕይወቶሙ፡ ወበንብረቶሙ፡ ወበተንሥኦቶሙ፡ እስመ፡ ውእቱ፡ ያሕዩ፡ ወይቀትል።
And He shall make them joyful in their going out and their coming in, in their death and their life, in their dwelling, and in their rising up; for He makes alive and puts to death.
祂必使他們在出入之間、生死之間、安居與起身之間都歡喜快樂；因為祂能使人活，也能使人死。
8:11
ወውእቱ፡ ይቀሥፍ፡ ወይሣሃል።
And He smites and has compassion.
祂能擊打，也能施憐憫。
8:12
ወውእቱ፡ ያነዲ፡ ወያበልዕ፡ ወውእቱ፡ ያኃሥር፡ ወያከብር።
And He makes poor and gives food; and He humbles and exalts.
祂使人貧窮，也賜糧食；祂使人卑微，也使人尊貴。
