5:1

ወእምዝ ርኢኩ ውስተ የማኑ ለውእቱ ዘይነብር ዲበ መንበር መጽሐፈ ጽሕፍተ እንተ ውስጣ ወእንተ አፍኣሃ ወኅትምት በሰብዐቱ ማኅተም።

I saw, in the right hand of him who sat on the throne, a book written inside and outside, sealed shut with seven seals.

我看見坐寶座的右手中有書卷，裏外都寫着字，用七印封嚴了。

5:2

ወርኢኩ መልአክ ዐቢይ ይጸርሕ ወይብል በቃል ዐቢይ ለመኑ ይደልዎ ይክሥታ ለዛቲ መጽሐፍ ወይፍታሕ ማኅተሚሃ።

I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the book, and to break its seals?”

我又看見一位大力的天使大聲宣傳說：「有誰配展開那書卷，揭開那七印呢？」

5:3

ወአልቦ ዘክህለ ከሢቶታ ለይእቲ መጽሐፍ ወኢርእዮታ ኢበሰማይ ወኢበምድር።

No one in heaven above, or on the earth, or under the earth, was able to open the book or to look in it.

在天上、地上、地底下，沒有能展開、能觀看那書卷的。

5:4

ወብዙኃን እለ በከዩ ወአነሂ ምስሌሆሙ እስመ አልቦ ዘተረክበ ዘይደልዎ ይክሥታ ለይእቲ መጽሐፍ ወይርአያ።

Then I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open the book or to look in it.

因為沒有配展開、配觀看那書卷的，我就大哭。

5:5

ወይቤለኒ አሐዱ እምውስተ እልክቱ ሊቃናት ኢትብኪ ናሁ ሞአ አንበሳ ዘእምነገደ ይሁዳ ዘእምውስተ ሥርዉ ለዳዊት ከመ ይፍትሓ ለይእቲ መጽሐፍ ወለማኅተሚሃ።

One of the elders said to me, “Don’t weep. Behold, the Lion who is of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome: he who opens the book and its seven seals.”

長老中有一位對我說：「不要哭！看哪，猶大支派中的獅子，大衛的根，他已得勝，能以展開那書卷，揭開那七印。」

5:6

ወርኢኩ ማእከለ ዝኩ መንበር ወእልክቱ አርባዕቱ እንስሳሁ ወማእከለ እልክቱ ዕሥራ ወአርባዕቱ ሊቃናት ይቀውም በግዕ ከመ ዘርጉዝ ውእቱ ወቦ ሰብዐቱ አቅርንት ወሰብዐቱ አዕይንት ወዝንቱ ውእቱ መንፈሱ ለእግዚአብሔር ዘተፈነወ ውስተ ኵላ ምድር።

I saw in the middle of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the middle of the elders, a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth.

我又看見寶座與四活物，並長老之中有羔羊站立，像是被殺過的，有七角七眼，就是上帝的七靈，奉差遣往普天下去的。

5:7

ወመጽአ ወተመጠዋ ለይእቲ መጽሐፍ እምነ የማኑ ለዝክቱ ዘይነብር ዲበ መንበር።

Then he came, and he took it out of the right hand of him who sat on the throne.

這羔羊前來，從坐寶座的右手裏拿了書卷。

5:8

ወሶበ ተመጠዋ ለይእቲ መጽሐፍ ሰገዱ ሎቱ ቅድሜሁ ለውእቱ በግዕ እልክቱ ዕሥራ ወአርባዕቱ ሊቃናት ወእልክቱ አርባዕቱ እንስሳሁ ወያጸንዑ ኵሎሙ ጽዋዓተ ወርቅ ዘምሉእ ዕጣነ ወመሰንቆ መዝሙር ወዝ ውእቱ ጸሎቶሙ ለቅዱሳን።

Now when he had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

他既拿了書卷，四活物和二十四位長老就俯伏在羔羊面前，各拿着琴和盛滿了香的金爐；這香就是眾聖徒的祈禱。

5:9

ወይዜምሩ በመዝሙር ሐዲስ ወይብሉ ይደልወከ ትንሥኣ ለዛቲ መጽሐፍ ወትፍታሕ ማኅተሚሃ እስመ ተቀተልከ ወተሣየጥከ በደምከ ለእግዚአብሔር እምነ ኵሉ ሕዝብ ወአሕዛብ ወነገድ ወበሓውርት።

They sang a new song, saying, “You are worthy to take the book and to open its seals, for you were killed, and bought us for God with your blood out of every tribe, language, people, and nation,

他們唱新歌，說：你配拿書卷，配揭開七印；因為你曾被殺，用自己的血從各族、各方、各民、各國中買了人來，叫他們歸於上帝，
