9:1
ወሶበ ጠቅዐ ኃምስ መልአክ ወረደ ኮከብ እምሰማይ ዲበ ምድር።
The fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star from the sky which had fallen to the earth. The key to the pit of the abyss was given to him.
第五位天使吹號，我就看見一個星從天落到地上，有無底坑的鑰匙賜給它。
9:2
ወተውህበ ሎቱ መራኁተ አንቅዕተ ቀላያት ወዐርገ ጢስ እምነ ቀላይ ከመ ጢሰ እቶን ዐቢይ ወከደኖ ለፀሓይ ወኮነ ከመ ደመና ውእቱ ጢሰ ቀላይ።
He opened the pit of the abyss, and smoke went up out of the pit, like the smoke from a burning furnace. The sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke from the pit.
它開了無底坑，便有煙從坑裏往上冒，好像大火爐的煙；日頭和天空都因這煙昏暗了。
9:3
ወእምነ ውእቱ ጢስ ወፅአ አንበጣ ውስተ ምድር ወወሀብዎሙ ሥልጣነ ይኩኑ ከመ ዐቃርብት ውስተ ምድር።
Then out of the smoke came locusts on the earth, and power was given to them, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
有蝗蟲從煙中出來，飛到地上；有能力賜給牠們，好像地上蠍子的能力一樣，
9:4
ወአዘዝዎሙ ከመ ኢያማስኑ ሣዕረ ወኢሐመልማለ ወኢኵሎ ዕፀ ዘእንበለ ለሰብእ እለ አልቦሙ ማኅተመ እግዚአብሔር ውስተ ፍጽሞሙ።
They were told that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only those people who don’t have God’s seal on their foreheads.
並且吩咐牠們說，不可傷害地上的草和各樣青物，並一切樹木，惟獨要傷害額上沒有上帝印記的人。
9:5
ወአዘዝዎሙ ከመ ኢይቅትልዎሙ ዳእሙ ከመ ያሕምምዎሙ ኀምስተ አውራኀ ወሕማሞሙሰ ከመ ሕማመ ዐቅራብ ሶበ ይነድፍ ሰብአ።
They were given power, not to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a person.
但不許蝗蟲害死他們，只叫他們受痛苦五個月。這痛苦就像蠍子螫人的痛苦一樣。
9:6
ወበውእቶን መዋዕል የኀሥሥ ሰብእ መዊተ ወኢይረክብ ወይፈቱ ይሙት ወይትኀጣእ እምኔሁ መዊት።
In those days people will seek death, and will in no way find it. They will desire to die, and death will flee from them.
在那些日子，人要求死，決不得死；願意死，死卻遠避他們。
9:7
ወከመዝ ውእቱ ራእዮሙ ለእልክቱ አናብጥ ከመ አፍራስ ዘድልዋን ለጸብእ ይመስሉ ወውስተ ርእሶሙ ቦሙ ቀጸላ በአምሳለ ወርቅ ወገጾሙ ከመ ገጸ ሰብእ።
The shapes of the locusts were like horses prepared for war. On their heads were something like golden crowns, and their faces were like people’s faces.
蝗蟲的形狀，好像預備出戰的馬一樣，頭上戴的好像金冠冕，臉面好像男人的臉面，
9:8
ወሥዕርቶሙ ከመ ሥዕርተ አንስት ወስነኒሆሙ ከመ ስነነ አናብስት።
They had hair like women’s hair, and their teeth were like those of lions.
頭髮像女人的頭髮，牙齒像獅子的牙齒。
9:9
ወቦሙ ጌራ ከመ ጌራ ኀጺን ወድምፀ እገሪሆሙ ከመ ድምፀ ሠረገላ ብዙኅ ዘያረውጹ አፍራስ ውስተ ቀትል።
They had breastplates like breastplates of iron. The sound of their wings was like the sound of many chariots and horses rushing to war.
胸前有甲，好像鐵甲。牠們翅膀的聲音，好像許多車馬奔跑上陣的聲音。
9:10
ወቦሙ ዘነብ ከመ ዘነበ ዐቅራብ ወውስተ ዘነቦሙ ቦሙ ቅንዋት በዘቦቱ ይነድፍዎሙ ለሰብእ ኀምስተ አውራኀ።
They have tails like those of scorpions, with stingers. In their tails they have power to harm men for five months.
有尾巴像蠍子，尾巴上的毒鉤能傷人五個月。
9:11
ወቦሙ ንጉሥ መልአከ ቀላይ ወስሙ በዕብራይስጥ አብዶን ወበጽርእ አጵልዮን ወበቅብጥ አርማቅጦን ወበዐረብ ሰናሴር ወበግእዝ ማኅጐሊ።
They have over them as king the angel of the abyss. His name in Hebrew is “Abaddon”, but in Greek, he has the name “Apollyon”.
有無底坑的使者作牠們的王，按着希伯來話，名叫亞巴頓，希臘話，名叫亞玻倫。
9:12
ወበዝ ኀለፈት አሐቲ ሕማም ወተርፈ ክልኤ ሕማም።
The first woe is past. Behold, there are still two woes coming after this.
第一樣災禍過去了，還有兩樣災禍要來。
9:13
ወሶበ ጠቅዐ ሳድስ መልአክ ሰማዕኩ ቃለ አሐደ እምነ አቅርንተ ምሥዋዕ ዘወርቅ ዘቅድመ መንበሩ ለእግዚአብሔር።
The sixth angel sounded. I heard a voice from the horns of the golden altar which is before God,
第六位天使吹號，我就聽見有聲音從上帝面前金壇的四角出來，
9:14
ወይቤሎ ለዝክቱ ሳድስ መልአክ ዘያጸንዕ መጥቅዐ ፍትሖሙ ለእክልቱ አርባዕቱ መላእክት እለ እሱራን ውስተ ፈለገ ኤፍራጥስ ዐቢይ።
saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Free the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates!”
吩咐那吹號的第六位天使，說：「把那捆綁在幼發拉底大河的四個使者釋放了。」
9:15
ወሶበ ፈትሖሙ ለእልክቱ አርባዕቱ መላእክት እለ ድልዋን ለሰዓት ወለዕለት ወለወርኅ ወለዓመት ከመ ይቅትሉ ሣልስተ እዴሆሙ ለዕጓለ እመሕያው።
The four angels were freed who had been prepared for that hour and day and month and year, so that they might kill one third of mankind.
那四個使者就被釋放；他們原是預備好了，到某年某月某日某時，要殺人的三分之一。
9:16
ወኍልቈ አፍራሲሆሙ ምክዕቢተ እልፍ እምአእላፍ።
The number of the armies of the horsemen was two hundred million. I heard the number of them.
馬軍有二萬萬；他們的數目我聽見了。
9:17
ወከመዝ ርእየተ አፍራሲሆሙ ወዘእለ ይጼዐንዎሙ ቦሙ ጌራ ዘእሳት ዘኅብረ ደርከኖ ወአርእስተ አፍራሲሆሙ ከመ አርእስተ አናብስት ወይወፅእ እምነ አፉሆሙ እሳት ወጢስ ወተይ።
Thus I saw the horses in the vision and those who sat on them, having breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the horses’ heads resembled lions’ heads. Out of their mouths proceed fire, smoke, and sulfur.
我在異象中看見那些馬和騎馬的，騎馬的胸前有甲如火，與紫瑪瑙並硫磺。馬的頭好像獅子頭，有火、有煙、有硫磺從馬的口中出來。
9:18
ወእምነ ዝንቱ ሠለስቱ ሕማም ሞተ ሣልስተ እዴሁ ለዕጓለ እመሕያው እምነ እሳት ወጢስ ወተይ ዘይወፅእ እምነ አፉሆሙ።
By these three plagues, one third of mankind was killed: by the fire, the smoke, and the sulfur, which proceeded out of their mouths.
口中所出來的火與煙並硫磺，這三樣災殺了人的三分之一。
9:19
እስመ ሥልጣነ አፍራሲሆሙ ውስተ አፉሆሙ ወአዝናቢሆሙ ከመ አራዊተ ምድር ወቦሙ ህየ አርእስት በዘቦቱ ይነስኩ ሰብአ ኀምስተ አውራኀ።
For the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails. For their tails are like serpents, and have heads; and with them they harm.
這馬的能力是在口裏和尾巴上；因這尾巴像蛇，並且有頭用以害人。
9:20
ወዘተርፈ ሰብእ ድኅነ እምነ ውእቱ መቅሠፍት ወቦ እለ ተኰነኑ በአምልኮ ግብረ እደዊሆሙ እስመ ኢነስሑ አላ አቅነዩ ርእሶሙ እንዘ ይሰግዱ ለአጋንንት ወለአማልክት ዘወርቅ ወዘብሩር ወዘብርት ወዘዕፅ ወዘእብን እለ ኢይሬእዩ ወኢይሰምዑ ወኢየሐውሩ።
The rest of mankind, who were not killed with these plagues, didn’t repent of the works of their hands, that they wouldn’t worship demons, and the idols of gold, and of silver, and of brass, and of stone, and of wood, which can’t see, hear, or walk.
其餘未曾被這些災所殺的人仍舊不悔改自己手所做的，還是去拜鬼魔和那些不能看、不能聽、不能走，金、銀、銅、木、石的偶像，
9:21
ወኢነስሑ ዓዲ እምነ ቀትሎሙ ወእምነ ሥራያቲሆሙ ወእምነ ዝሙቶሙ ወእምነ ስርቆሙ።
They didn’t repent of their murders, their sorceries, their sexual immorality, or their thefts.
又不悔改他們那些凶殺、邪術、姦淫、偷竊的事。
