13:1
Anno octavodecimo regis Jeroboam, regnavit Abia super Judam.
In the eighteenth year of King Jeroboam, Abijah began to reign over Judah.
耶羅波安王十八年，亞比雅登基作猶大王，
13:2
Tribus annis regnavit in Jerusalem, nomenque matris ejus Michaia filia Uriel de Gabaa : et erat bellum inter Abiam et Jeroboam.
He reigned three years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Micaiah the daughter of Uriel of Gibeah. There was war between Abijah and Jeroboam.
在耶路撒冷作王三年。他母親名叫米該亞 ，是基比亞人烏列的女兒。 亞比雅常與耶羅波安爭戰。
13:3
Cumque iniisset Abia certamen, et haberet bellicosissimos viros, et electorum quadringenta millia : Jeroboam instruxit econtra aciem octingenta millia virorum, qui et ipsi electi erant, et ad bella fortissimi.
Abijah joined battle with an army of valiant men of war, even four hundred thousand chosen men; and Jeroboam set the battle in array against him with eight hundred thousand chosen men, who were mighty men of valor.
有一次亞比雅率領挑選的兵四十萬擺陣，都是勇敢的戰士；耶羅波安也挑選大能的勇士八十萬，對亞比雅擺陣。
13:4
Stetit ergo Abia super montem Semeron, qui erat in Ephraim, et ait : Audi, Jeroboam, et omnis Israël.
Abijah stood up on Mount Zemaraim, which is in the hill country of Ephraim, and said, “Hear me, Jeroboam and all Israel:
亞比雅站在以法蓮山地中的洗瑪臉山上，說：「耶羅波安和以色列眾人哪，要聽我說！
13:5
Num ignoratis quod Dominus Deus Israël dederit regnum David super Israël in sempiternum, ipsi et filiis ejus in pactum salis ?
Ought you not to know that Yahweh, the God of Israel, gave the kingdom over Israel to David forever, even to him and to his sons by a covenant of salt?
耶和華－以色列的上帝曾立鹽約 ，將以色列國永遠賜給大衛和他的子孫，你們不知道嗎？
13:6
Et surrexit Jeroboam filius Nabat, servus Salomonis filii David, et rebellavit contra dominum suum.
Yet Jeroboam the son of Nebat, the servant of Solomon the son of David, rose up, and rebelled against his lord.
無奈大衛兒子所羅門的臣僕、尼八兒子耶羅波安起來背叛他的主人。
13:7
Congregatique sunt ad eum viri vanissimi, et filii Belial, et praevaluerunt contra Roboam filium Salomonis : porro Roboam erat rudis, et corde pavido, nec potuit resistere eis.
Worthless men were gathered to him, wicked fellows who strengthened themselves against Rehoboam the son of Solomon, when Rehoboam was young and tender hearted, and could not withstand them.
有些無賴的匪徒聚集跟從他，逞強攻擊所羅門的兒子羅波安；那時羅波安還幼弱，不能抵擋他們。
13:8
Nunc ergo vos dicitis quod resistere possitis regno Domini, quod possidet per filios David, habetisque grandem populi multitudinem, atque vitulos aureos quos fecit vobis Jeroboam in deos.
“Now you intend to withstand the kingdom of Yahweh in the hand of the sons of David. You are a great multitude, and the golden calves which Jeroboam made you for gods are with you.
「現在你們有意抗拒大衛子孫手下所治耶和華的國，你們的人也甚多，你們那裏又有耶羅波安為你們所造當作神的金牛犢。
13:9
Et ejecistis sacerdotes Domini, filios Aaron, atque Levitas, et fecistis vobis sacerdotes sicut omnes populi terrarum : quicumque venerit, et initiaverit manum suam in tauro de bobus, et in arietibus septem, fit sacerdos eorum qui non sunt dii.
Haven’t you driven out the priests of Yahweh, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and made priests for yourselves according to the ways of the peoples of other lands? Whoever comes to consecrate himself with a young bull and seven rams may be a priest of those who are no gods.
你們不是驅逐耶和華的祭司亞倫的後裔和利未人嗎？不是照着外邦人的惡俗為自己立祭司嗎？無論何人牽一隻公牛犢、七隻公綿羊將自己分別出來，就可作虛無之神的祭司。
13:10
Noster autem Dominus, Deus est, quem non relinquimus, sacerdotesque ministrant Domino, de filiis Aaron, et Levitae sunt in ordine suo :
“But as for us, Yahweh is our God, and we have not forsaken him. We have priests serving Yahweh, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites in their work.
至於我們，耶和華是我們的上帝，我們並沒有離棄他。我們有事奉耶和華的祭司，都是亞倫的後裔，並有利未人各盡其職，
13:11
holocausta quoque offerunt Domino per singulos dies mane et vespere, et thymiama juxta legis praecepta confectum, et proponuntur panes in mensa mundissima, estque apud nos candelabrum aureum, et lucernae ejus, ut accendantur semper ad vesperam : nos quippe custodimus praecepta Domini Dei nostri, quem vos reliquistis.
They burn to Yahweh every morning and every evening burnt offerings and sweet incense. They also set the show bread in order on the pure table, and care for the gold lamp stand with its lamps, to burn every evening; for we keep the instruction of Yahweh our God, but you have forsaken him.
每日早晚向耶和華獻燔祭，燒美香，又在精金的桌子上擺陳設餅；又有金燈臺和燈盞，每晚點起，因為我們遵守耶和華－我們上帝的命；惟有你們離棄了他。
13:12
Ergo in exercitu nostro dux Deus est, et sacerdotes ejus, qui clangunt tubis, et resonant contra vos : filii Israël, nolite pugnare contra Dominum Deum patrum vestrorum, quia non vobis expedit.
Behold, God is with us at our head, and his priests with the trumpets of alarm to sound an alarm against you. Children of Israel, don’t fight against Yahweh, the God of your fathers; for you will not prosper.”
率領我們的是上帝，我們這裏也有上帝的祭司拿號向你們吹出大聲。以色列人哪，不要與耶和華－你們列祖的上帝爭戰，因你們必不能亨通。」
13:13
Haec illo loquente, Jeroboam retro moliebatur insidias. Cumque ex adverso hostium staret, ignorantem Judam suo ambiebat exercitu.
But Jeroboam caused an ambush to come about behind them; so they were before Judah, and the ambush was behind them.
耶羅波安卻在猶大人的後頭設伏兵。這樣，以色列人在猶大人的前頭，伏兵在猶大人的後頭。
13:14
Respiciensque Judas, vidit instare bellum ex adverso et post tergum, et clamavit ad Dominum, ac sacerdotes tubis canere coeperunt.
When Judah looked back, behold, the battle was before and behind them; and they cried to Yahweh, and the priests sounded with the trumpets.
猶大人回頭觀看，見前後都有敵兵，就呼求耶和華，祭司也吹號。
13:15
Omnesque viri Juda vociferati sunt : et ecce illis clamantibus, perterruit Deus Jeroboam, et omnem Israël qui stabat ex adverso Abia et Juda.
Then the men of Judah gave a shout. As the men of Judah shouted, God struck Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah.
於是猶大人吶喊；猶大人吶喊的時候，上帝就使耶羅波安和以色列眾人敗在亞比雅與猶大人面前。
13:16
Fugeruntque filii Israël Judam, et tradidit eos Deus in manu eorum.
The children of Israel fled before Judah, and God delivered them into their hand.
以色列人在猶大人面前逃跑，上帝將他們交在猶大人手裏。
13:17
Percussit ergo eos Abia et populus ejus plaga magna : et corruerunt vulnerati ex Israël quingenta millia virorum fortium.
Abijah and his people killed them with a great slaughter, so five hundred thousand chosen men of Israel fell down slain.
亞比雅和他的軍兵大大殺戮以色列人，以色列人仆倒死亡的精兵有五十萬。
13:18
Humiliatique sunt filii Israël in tempore illo, et vehementissime confortati filii Juda, eo quod sperassent in Domino Deo patrum suorum.
Thus the children of Israel were brought under at that time, and the children of Judah prevailed, because they relied on Yahweh, the God of their fathers.
那時，以色列人被制伏了，猶大人得勝，是因倚靠耶和華－他們列祖的上帝。
13:19
Persecutus est autem Abia fugientem Jeroboam, et cepit civitates ejus, Bethel et filias ejus, et Jesana cum filiabus suis, Ephron quoque et filias ejus :
Abijah pursued Jeroboam, and took cities from him: Bethel with its villages, Jeshanah with its villages, and Ephron with its villages.
亞比雅追趕耶羅波安，攻取了他的幾座城，就是伯特利和屬伯特利的鎮市，耶沙拿和屬耶沙拿的鎮市，以法拉音 和屬以法拉音的鎮市。
13:20
nec valuit ultra resistere Jeroboam in diebus Abia : quem percussit Dominus, et mortuus est.
Jeroboam didn’t recover strength again in the days of Abijah. Yahweh struck him, and he died.
亞比雅在世的時候，耶羅波安不能再強盛；耶和華攻擊他，他就死了。
13:21
Igitur Abia, confortato imperio suo, accepit uxores quatuordecim : procreavitque viginti duos filios, et sedecim filias.
But Abijah grew mighty and took for himself fourteen wives, and became the father of twenty-two sons and sixteen daughters.
亞比雅卻漸漸強盛，娶妻妾十四個，生了二十二個兒子，十六個女兒。
13:22
Reliqua autem sermonum Abia, viarumque et operum ejus, scripta sunt diligentissime in libro Addo prophetae.
The rest of the acts of Abijah, his ways, and his sayings are written in the commentary of the prophet Iddo.
