15:1
Azarias autem filius Oded, facto in se spiritu Dei,
The Spirit of God came on Azariah the son of Oded.
上帝的靈感動俄德的兒子亞撒利雅。
15:2
egressus est in occursum Asa, et dixit ei : Audite me, Asa, et omnis Juda et Benjamin : Dominus vobiscum, quia fuistis cum eo. Si quaesieritis eum, invenietis : si autem dereliqueritis eum, derelinquet vos.
He went out to meet Asa, and said to him, “Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin! Yahweh is with you while you are with him; and if you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.
他出來迎接亞撒，對他說：「亞撒和猶大、便雅憫眾人哪，要聽我說：你們若順從耶和華，耶和華必與你們同在；你們若尋求他，就必尋見；你們若離棄他，他必離棄你們。
15:3
Transibant autem multi dies in Israël absque Deo vero, et absque sacerdote doctore, et absque lege.
Now for a long time Israel was without the true God, without a teaching priest, and without law.
以色列人不信真神，沒有訓誨的祭司，也沒有律法，已經好久了；
15:4
Cumque reversi fuerint in angustia sua ad Dominum Deum Israël, et quaesierint eum, reperient eum.
But when in their distress they turned to Yahweh, the God of Israel, and sought him, he was found by them.
但他們在急難的時候歸向耶和華－以色列的上帝，尋求他，他就被他們尋見。
15:5
In tempore illo, non erit pax egredienti et ingredienti, sed terrores undique in cunctis habitatoribus terrarum :
In those times there was no peace to him who went out, nor to him who came in; but great troubles were on all the inhabitants of the lands.
那時，出入的人不得平安，列國的居民都遭大亂；
15:6
pugnavit enim gens contra gentem, et civitas contra civitatem, quia Dominus conturbabit eos in omni angustia.
They were broken in pieces, nation against nation, and city against city; for God troubled them with all adversity.
這國攻擊那國，這城攻擊那城，互相破壞，因為上帝用各樣災難擾亂他們。
15:7
Vos ergo confortamini, et non dissolvantur manus vestrae : erit enim merces operi vestro.
But you be strong! Don’t let your hands be slack, for your work will be rewarded.”
現在你們要剛強，不要手軟，因你們所行的必得賞賜。」
15:8
Quod cum audisset Asa, verba scilicet, et prophetiam Azariae filii Oded prophetae, confortatus est, et abstulit idola de omni terra Juda et de Benjamin, et ex urbibus quas ceperat, montis Ephraim : et dedicavit altare Domini quod erat ante porticum Domini.
When Asa heard these words and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominations out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from the hill country of Ephraim; and he renewed Yahweh’s altar that was before Yahweh’s porch.
亞撒聽見這話和俄德兒子先知亞撒利雅的預言，就壯起膽來，在猶大、便雅憫全地，並以法蓮山地所奪的各城，將可憎之物盡都除掉，又在耶和華殿的廊前重新修築耶和華的壇；
15:9
Congregavitque universum Judam et Benjamin, et advenas cum eis de Ephraim, et de Manasse, et de Simeon : plures enim ad eum confugerant ex Israël, videntes quod Dominus Deus illius esset cum eo.
He gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those who lived with them out of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon; for they came to him out of Israel in abundance when they saw that Yahweh his God was with him.
又招聚猶大、便雅憫的眾人，並他們中間寄居的以法蓮人、瑪拿西人、西緬人。有許多以色列人歸降亞撒，因見耶和華－他的上帝與他同在。
15:10
Cumque venissent in Jerusalem mense tertio, anno decimoquinto regni Asa,
So they gathered themselves together at Jerusalem in the third month, in the fifteenth year of Asa’s reign.
亞撒十五年三月，他們都聚集在耶路撒冷。
15:11
immolaverunt Domino in die illa de manubiis et praeda quam adduxerant, boves septingentos, et arietes septem millia.
They sacrificed to Yahweh in that day, from the plunder which they had brought, seven hundred head of cattle and seven thousand sheep.
當日他們從所取的擄物中，將牛七百隻、羊七千隻獻給耶和華。
15:12
Et intravit ex more ad corroborandum foedus ut quaererent Dominum Deum patrum suorum in toto corde, et in tota anima sua.
They entered into the covenant to seek Yahweh, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and with all their soul;
他們就立約，要盡心盡性地尋求耶和華－他們列祖的上帝。
15:13
Si quis autem, inquit, non quaesierit Dominum Deum Israël, moriatur, a minimo usque ad maximum, a viro usque ad mulierem.
and that whoever would not seek Yahweh, the God of Israel, should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.
凡不尋求耶和華－以色列上帝的，無論大小、男女，必被治死。
15:14
Juraveruntque Domino voce magna in jubilo, et in clangore tubae, et in sonitu buccinarum,
They swore to Yahweh with a loud voice, with shouting, with trumpets, and with cornets.
他們就大聲歡呼，吹號吹角，向耶和華起誓。
15:15
omnes qui erant in Juda, cum execratione : in omni enim corde suo juraverunt, et in tota voluntate quaesierunt eum, et invenerunt : praestititque eis Dominus requiem per circuitum.
All Judah rejoiced at the oath, for they had sworn with all their heart and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found by them. Then Yahweh gave them rest all around.
猶大眾人為所起的誓歡喜；因他們是盡心起誓，盡意尋求耶和華，耶和華就被他們尋見，且賜他們四境平安。
15:16
Sed et Maacham matrem Asa regis ex augusto deposuit imperio, eo quod fecisset in luco simulacrum Priapi : quod omne contrivit, et in frustra comminuens combussit in torrente Cedron.
Also Maacah, the mother of Asa the king, he removed from being queen mother, because she had made an abominable image for an Asherah; so Asa cut down her image, ground it into dust, and burned it at the brook Kidron.
亞撒王貶了他祖母瑪迦太后的位，因她造了可憎的偶像亞舍拉。亞撒砍下她的偶像，搗得粉碎，燒在汲淪溪邊。
15:17
Excelsa autem derelicta sunt in Israël : attamen cor Asa erat perfectum cunctis diebus ejus,
But the high places were not taken away out of Israel; nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect all his days.
只是邱壇還沒有從以色列中廢去，然而亞撒的心一生誠實。
15:18
eaque quae voverat pater suus, et ipse, intulit in domum Domini, argentum, et aurum, vasorumque diversam supellectilem.
He brought the things that his father had dedicated and that he himself had dedicated, silver, gold, and vessels into God’s house.
亞撒將他父所分別為聖、與自己所分別為聖的金銀和器皿都奉到上帝的殿裏。
15:19
Bellum vero non fuit usque ad trigesimum quintum annum regni Asa.
There was no more war to the thirty-fifth year of Asa’s reign.
從這時直到亞撒三十五年，都沒有爭戰的事。
