5:1
Scimus enim quoniam si terrestris domus nostra hujus habitationis dissolvatur , quod aedificationem ex Deo habemus , domum non manufactam , aeternam in caelis .
For we know that if the earthly house of our tent is dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens.
我們原知道，我們這地上的帳棚若拆毀了，必得上帝所造，不是人手所造，在天上永存的房屋。
5:2
Nam et in hoc ingemiscimus , habitationem nostram , quae de caelo est , superindui cupientes :
For most certainly in this we groan, longing to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven,
我們在這帳棚裏歎息，深想得那從天上來的房屋，好像穿上衣服；
5:3
si tamen vestiti , non nudi inveniamur .
if indeed being clothed, we will not be found naked.
倘若穿上，被遇見的時候就不至於赤身了。
5:4
Nam et qui sumus in hoc tabernaculo , ingemiscimus gravati : eo quod nolumus expoliari , sed supervestiri , ut absorbeatur quod mortale est , a vita .
For indeed we who are in this tent do groan, being burdened, not that we desire to be unclothed, but that we desire to be clothed, that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.
我們在這帳棚裏歎息勞苦，並非願意脫下這個，乃是願意穿上那個，好叫這必死的被生命吞滅了。
5:5
Qui autem efficit nos in hoc ipsum , Deus , qui dedit nobis pignus Spiritus .
Now he who made us for this very thing is God, who also gave to us the down payment of the Spirit.
為此，培植我們的就是上帝，他又賜給我們聖靈作憑據 。
5:6
Audentes igitur semper , scientes quoniam dum sumus in corpore , peregrinamur a Domino
Therefore we are always confident and know that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord;
所以，我們時常坦然無懼，並且曉得我們住在身內，便與主相離。
5:7
(per fidem enim ambulamus , et non per speciem ) :
for we walk by faith, not by sight.
因我們行事為人是憑着信心，不是憑着眼見。
5:8
audemus autem , et bonam voluntatem habemus magis peregrinari a corpore , et praesentes esse ad Dominum .
We are courageous, I say, and are willing rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.
我們坦然無懼，是更願意離開身體與主同住。
5:9
Et ideo contendimus , sive absentes , sive praesentes , placere illi .
Therefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well pleasing to him.
所以，無論是住在身內，離開身外，我們立了志向，要得主的喜悅。
5:10
Omnes enim nos manifestari oportet ante tribunal Christi , ut referat unusquisque propria corporis , prout gessit , sive bonum , sive malum .
For we must all be revealed before the judgment seat of Christ that each one may receive the things in the body according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
因為我們眾人必要在基督臺前顯露出來，叫各人按着本身所行的，或善或惡受報。
5:11
Scientes ergo timorem Domini , hominibus suademus , Deo autem manifesti sumus . Spero autem et in conscientiis vestris manifestos nos esse .
Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are revealed to God, and I hope that we are revealed also in your consciences.
我們既知道主是可畏的，所以勸人。但我們在上帝面前是顯明的，盼望在你們的良心裏也是顯明的。
5:12
Non iterum commendamus nos vobis , sed occasionem damus vobis gloriandi pro nobis : ut habeatis ad eos qui in facie gloriantur , et non in corde .
For we are not commending ourselves to you again, but speak as giving you occasion of boasting on our behalf, that you may have something to answer those who boast in appearance and not in heart.
我們不是向你們再舉薦自己，乃是叫你們因我們有可誇之處，好對那憑外貌不憑內心誇口的人，有言可答。
5:13
Sive enim mente excedimus Deo : sive sobrii sumus , vobis .
For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God. Or if we are of sober mind, it is for you.
我們若果顛狂，是為上帝；若果謹守，是為你們。
5:14
Caritas enim Christi urget nos : aestimantes hoc , quoniam si unus pro omnibus mortuus est , ergo omnes mortui sunt :
For the love of Christ compels us; because we judge thus: that one died for all, therefore all died.
原來基督的愛激勵我們；因我們想，一人既替眾人死，眾人就都死了；
5:15
et pro omnibus mortuus est Christus : ut , et qui vivunt , jam non sibi vivant , sed ei qui pro ipsis mortuus est et resurrexit .
He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again.
並且他替眾人死，是叫那些活着的人不再為自己活，乃為替他們死而復活的主活。
5:16
Itaque nos ex hoc neminem novimus secundum carnem . Et si cognovimus secundum carnem Christum , sed nunc jam non novimus .
Therefore we know no one according to the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.
所以，我們從今以後，不憑着外貌 認人了。雖然憑着外貌認過基督，如今卻不再這樣認他了。
5:17
Si qua ergo in Christo nova creatura , vetera transierunt : ecce facta sunt omnia nova .
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.
若有人在基督裏，他就是新造的人，舊事已過，都變成新的了。
5:18
Omnia autem ex Deo , qui nos reconciliavit sibi per Christum : et dedit nobis ministerium reconciliationis ,
But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation;
一切都是出於上帝；他藉着基督使我們與他和好，又將勸人與他和好的職分賜給我們。
5:19
quoniam quidem Deus erat in Christo mundum reconcilians sibi , non reputans illis delicta ipsorum , et posuit in nobis verbum reconciliationis .
namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation.
這就是上帝在基督裏，叫世人與自己和好，不將他們的過犯歸到他們身上，並且將這和好的道理託付了我們。
5:20
Pro Christo ergo legatione fungimur , tamquam Deo exhortante per nos . Obsecramus pro Christo , reconciliamini Deo .
We are therefore ambassadors on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
所以，我們作基督的使者，就好像上帝藉我們勸你們一般。我們替基督求你們與上帝和好。
5:21
Eum , qui non noverat peccatum , pro nobis peccatum fecit , ut nos efficeremur justitia Dei in ipso .
For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
上帝使那無罪 的，替我們成為罪，好叫我們在他裏面成為上帝的義。
