9:1
Et dixit David : Putasne est aliquis qui remanserit de domo Saul, ut faciam cum eo misericordiam propter Jonathan ?
David said, “Is there yet any who is left of Saul’s house, that I may show him kindness for Jonathan’s sake?”
大衛問說：「掃羅家還有剩下的人沒有？我要因約拿單的緣故向他施恩。」
9:2
Erat autem de domo Saul servus nomine Siba : quem cum vocasset rex ad se, dixit ei : Tune es Siba ? Et ille respondit : Ego sum servus tuus.
There was of Saul’s house a servant whose name was Ziba, and they called him to David; and the king said to him, “Are you Ziba?” He said, “I am your servant.”
掃羅家有一個僕人，名叫洗巴，有人叫他來見大衛，王問他說：「你是洗巴嗎？」回答說：「僕人是。」
9:3
Et ait rex : Numquid superest aliquis de domo Saul, ut faciam cum eo misericordiam Dei ? Dixitque Siba regi : Superest filius Jonathae, debilis pedibus.
The king said, “Is there not yet any of Saul’s house, that I may show the kindness of God to him?” Ziba said to the king, “Jonathan still has a son, who is lame in his feet.”
王說：「掃羅家還有人沒有？我要照上帝的慈愛恩待他。」洗巴對王說：「還有約拿單的一個兒子，是瘸腿的。」
9:4
Ubi, inquit, est ? Et Siba ad regem : Ecce, ait, in domo est Machir filii Ammiel, in Lodabar.
The king said to him, “Where is he?” Ziba said to the king, “Behold, he is in the house of Machir the son of Ammiel, in Lo Debar.”
王說：「他在哪裏？」洗巴對王說：「他在羅‧底巴，亞米利的兒子瑪吉家裏。」
9:5
Misit ergo rex David, et tulit eum de domo Machir filii Ammiel, de Lodabar.
Then King David sent and brought him out of the house of Machir the son of Ammiel, from Lo Debar.
於是大衛王打發人去，從羅‧底巴亞米利的兒子瑪吉家裏召了他來。
9:6
Cum autem venisset Miphiboseth filius Jonathae filii Saul ad David, corruit in faciem suam, et adoravit. Dixitque David : Miphiboseth ? Qui respondit : Adsum servus tuus.
Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came to David, fell on his face, and showed respect. David said, “Mephibosheth?” He answered, “Behold, your servant!”
掃羅的孫子、約拿單的兒子米非波設來見大衛，伏地叩拜。大衛說：「米非波設！」米非波設說：「僕人在此。」
9:7
Et ait ei David : Ne timeas, quia faciens faciam in te misericordiam propter Jonathan patrem tuum, et restituam tibi omnes agros Saul patris tui : et tu comedes panem in mensa mea semper.
David said to him, “Don’t be afraid, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your father. You will eat bread at my table continually.”
大衛說：「你不要懼怕，我必因你父親約拿單的緣故施恩與你，將你祖父掃羅的一切田地都歸還你；你也可以常與我同席吃飯。」
9:8
Qui adorans eum, dixit : Quis ego sum servus tuus, quoniam respexisti super canem mortuum similem mei ?
He bowed down, and said, “What is your servant, that you should look at such a dead dog as I am?”
米非波設又叩拜，說：「僕人算甚麼，不過如死狗一般，竟蒙王這樣眷顧！」
9:9
Vocavit itaque rex Sibam puerum Saul, et dixit ei : Omnia quaecumque fuerunt Saul, et universam domum ejus, dedi filio domini tui.
Then the king called to Ziba, Saul’s servant, and said to him, “All that belonged to Saul and to all his house I have given to your master’s son.
王召了掃羅的僕人洗巴來，對他說：「我已將屬掃羅和他的一切家產都賜給你主人的兒子了。
9:10
Operare igitur ei terram tu, et filii tui, et servi tui, et inferes filio domini tui cibos ut alatur : Miphiboseth autem filius domini tui comedet semper panem super mensam meam. Erant autem Sibae quindecim filii, et viginti servi.
Till the land for him—you, your sons, and your servants. Bring in the harvest, that your master’s son may have bread to eat; but Mephibosheth your master’s son will always eat bread at my table.” Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.
你和你的眾子、僕人要為你主人的兒子米非波設耕種田地，把所產的拿來供他食用；他卻要常與我同席吃飯。」洗巴有十五個兒子，二十個僕人。
9:11
Dixitque Siba ad regem : Sicut jussisti, domine mi rex, servo tuo, sic faciet servus tuus : et Miphiboseth comedet super mensam meam, quasi unus de filiis regis.
Then Ziba said to the king, “According to all that my lord the king commands his servant, so your servant will do.” So Mephibosheth ate at the king’s table like one of the king’s sons.
洗巴對王說：「凡我主我王吩咐僕人的，僕人都必遵行。」王又說：「米非波設必與我同席吃飯，如王的兒子一樣。」
9:12
Habebat autem Miphiboseth filium parvulum nomine Micha : omnis vero cognatio domus Sibae serviebat Miphiboseth.
Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was Mica. All who lived in Ziba’s house were servants to Mephibosheth.
米非波設有一個小兒子，名叫米迦。凡住在洗巴家裏的人都作了米非波設的僕人。
9:13
Porro Miphiboseth habitabat in Jerusalem, quia de mensa regis jugiter vescebatur : et erat claudus utroque pede.
So Mephibosheth lived in Jerusalem, for he ate continually at the king’s table. He was lame in both his feet.
於是米非波設住在耶路撒冷，常與王同席吃飯。他兩腿都是瘸的。
