ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

The oracle concerning Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite.
God is jealous, and the Lord takes vengeance; the Lord takes vengeance with wrath; the Lord takes vengeance on his adversaries, and he himself removes his enemies.
The Lord is slow to anger, and his strength is great, and the Lord will by no means acquit the guilty. His way is in consummation and in shaking, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
Who shall stand before the face of his anger, and who shall withstand in the anger of his wrath? His wrath melts rulers, and the rocks were shattered by him.
And the Lord will give a command concerning you: no more shall any of your name be sown. From the house of your god I will destroy the carved and the cast images; I will make your grave, for they are swift.
