3:1
ወነበቦ፡ ነቢይ፡ እስመ፡ ቀሩብ፡ ሬማት፡ ዘሞዓብ፡ ለሶርያ።
先知向他說話，因為摩押的列瑪特離敘利亞甚近。
And the prophet spoke to him, for Riemat of Moab is near to Syria.
3:2
ወከረየ፡ ምድረ፡ ወቦአ፡ እስከ፡ ክሣዱ፡ ወበከየ፡ ብካየ፡ መሪረ፡ ወነስሐ፡ በእንተ፡ ዘገብረ፡ ኃጢአተ፡ በቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
他在地上挖坑，進到坑中直到頸項，又痛痛哀哭，為自己在主面前所犯的罪悔改。
And he dug into the ground and went down into it up to his neck, and he wept bitter weeping and repented because of the sin he had committed before the Lord.
3:3
ወከመዝ፡ ይቤሎ፡ ለነቢይ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ኀበ፡ ምድር፡ ይሁዳ፡ ግባዕ፡ ኀበ፡ ምድረ፡ ሬማት፡ ኀበ፡ መቃቢስ፡ መኰንነ፡ ሞዓብ፡ ወበሉ፡ ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እስመ፡ አኮ፡ ዘገበርካሁ፡ አንተ፡ ለዝንቱ፡ ከመ፡ ኢትበልዕ፡ በፅንዓ፡ ኃይልየ፡ ወበትዕይንትየ፡ አጥፋዕክዋ፡ ለሀገር፡ ቅድስት፡ አላ፡ አነ፡ ውእቱ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ መላኬ፡ ዚአከ፡ ለልየ፡ በፈቃድየ፡ ፈነውኩከ፡ ከመ፡ ታጥፍእ፡ ሀገርየ።
主如此對先知說：你要從猶大地回到列瑪特地，到摩押的官長梅加比斯那裡，對他說：主如此說。這事並非你所作的—你不可說：『我是憑自己力量的強大和自己的軍兵毀滅了那聖城。』乃是我，就是主，你的主宰；我憑自己的旨意差遣你去毀滅我的地。
And thus the Lord said to the prophet: Return from the land of Judah to the land of Riemat, to Meqabis the ruler of Moab, and say to him: Thus says the Lord. It is not you who did this thing—do not say, 'By the strength of my own might and by my own host I destroyed the holy city.' Rather, I am the Lord your Master; by My own will I sent you to destroy My land.
3:4
እስመ፡ እምዕዓተኒ፡ በኵሉ፡ ስስዕታ፡ ወዝሙታ፡ ወጽልሑታ።
因為那城以她一切的貪婪、淫亂和姦詐惹我憂傷。
For she grieved Me with all her covetousness and her harlotry and her treachery.
3:5
ወአነፂ፡ ተሐየይክዋ፡ ወመጠውክዋ፡ ውስተ፡ እዴከ፡ ወአኮ፡ በእንቲአከ፡ ዘአግዘፍከ፡ ክሣደከ፡ ወትቤ፡ አነ፡ ሮድክዋ፡ ለሀገር፡ በጽንዓ፡ እዴየ፡ ወይእዜኒ፡ በእንተ፡ ደቂቅከ፡ እለ፡ ወለድኮ፡ ተዓደዋ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለኃጢአትከ።
於是我厭棄她，把她交在你的手中；這並不是因著你—你竟硬著頸項說：『我是憑自己手的強力圍困那城。』如今，因著你所生的眾子，主已赦免了你的罪。
And so I rejected her and gave her over into your hand; it was not because of you, who stiffened your neck and said, 'I encircled the city by the strength of my own hand.' And now, because of the children whom you have begotten, the Lord has pardoned you for your sin.
3:6
ወይእዜኒ፡ ነስሕ፡ በኵሉ፡ ልብከ፡ ወጥባዕ፡ ወኢትኩን፡ ንፉቀ፡ እስመ፡ እለ፡ ይናፍቁ፡ ኢያጠብዑ፡ ለንስሐ።
如今你要全心悔改，並要堅定，不可三心二意；因為心懷二意的人，對悔改總不堅決。
And now, repent with all your heart and be steadfast, and do not be of two minds; for those who waver are not resolute toward repentance.
3:7
ወብፁዓንሰ፡ እለ፡ ይኔስሑ፡ በኵሉ፡ ልቦሙ፡ ወኢይትመየጡ፡ ኀበ፡ ጹግ፡ ወኃጢአት፡ በኵሉ፡ ዘይኔስሑ፡ በእንተ፡ እከዮሙ።
惟有那全心悔改、不再轉向污穢和罪惡的人，是有福的，就是在他們所悔改的一切惡事上堅定不移的人。
But blessed are those who repent with all their heart and do not turn back to defilement and sin, in all wherein they repent of their wickedness.
3:8
ወይጠብዑ፡ በብካይ፡ ወበአንብዕ፡ ወበስኢል፡ ብዙኅ፡ ወበሰጊድ፡ ኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘፈ፡ ጠሮሙ፡ እስመ፡ ይቤሎሙ፡ ለነሳሕያን፡ አንትሙ፡ እምድኅረ፡ ስሕትክሙ፡ ወነሳሕክሙ፡ እሊዓየ፡ አንትሙ።
他們在哀哭、流淚、多方祈求，並俯伏敬拜創造他們的主這事上堅定不移；因祂對悔改的人說：你們是屬我的，你們是迷失之後悔改歸回的人。
And they are steadfast in weeping and in tears and in much supplication and in prostration before the Lord their Creator; for He said to the penitent: You are Mine, you who repented after you had gone astray and turned back in repentance.
3:9
ወለዕቡይኒ፡ ይቤሎ፡ እምድኅረ፡ ስሕተ፡ ሶበ፡ ገብዓ፡ ኀቤሁ፡ በንስሐ፡ በእንተ፡ ድንጋፄከ፡ ወበፍርሃትከ፡ እትዓደዋ፡ ለኃጢአትከ፡ እስመ፡ አነ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ መሳኬ፡ ዚአከ፡ ዘእፈዱ፡ ኃጢአተ፡ አብ፡ ላዕለ፡ ውሉድ፡ እስከ፡ ሣልስ፡ ወእስከ፡ ራብዕ፡ ትውልድ፡ ወለእለሰ፡ ያፈቅሩኒ፡ ወየዓቅቡ፡ ትእዛዝየ፡ እገብር፡ ምሕረተ፡ ምስሌሆሙ፡ እስከ፡ ))፡ ትውልድ።
祂對那驕傲的人，在他迷失之後憑悔改歸回祂時，也如此說：因著你的驚惶和懼怕，我赦免你的罪；因為我是主，是你的主宰，必追討父親的罪孽，自父及子，直到三四代，但向那愛我、守我誡命的人，我施慈愛，直到千代。
And to the proud man also He said, after he had gone astray, when he returned to Him in repentance: Because of your dread and your fear I pardon your sin; for I am the Lord your Master, who visits the iniquity of the father upon the children unto the third and fourth generation, but to those who love Me and keep My commandments I show mercy unto a thousand generations.
3:10
ወይእዜኒ፡ በእንተ፡ እሉ፡ ደቂቅከ፡ እለ፡ ወለድከ፡ አዓቅብ፡ ኪዳንየ፡ ዘምስሌከ፡ ወእትዌከፍ፡ ንስሐ፡ ዘገበርኩ፡ በእንተ፡ እከየ፡ ምግባሪከ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ቅዱስ፡ እስራኤል፡ ዘክሉይመልክ።
如今，因著你所生的這些孩子，我必守我與你所立的約，又必悅納你為自己惡行所作的悔改，這是以色列的聖者、轄管萬有的主說的。
And now, because of these children whom you have begotten, I will keep My covenant which is with you, and I will accept the repentance which you have made because of the evil of your deeds, said the Holy One of Israel, the Lord, who rules over all.
3:11
ወውእተ፡ ጊዜ፡ ወጽአ፡ እምግብ፡ ወሰገደ፡ ለነቢይ፡ እንዘ፡ ይብል፡ ከመዝ፡ ወከመዝ፡ ለይረሰየኒ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ከመ፡ ኢይትፈለጥ፡ እምኔከ፡ አላ፡ ረሰየኒ፡ ዘፍቀድከ፡ እስመ፡ አነ፡ አምዓዕክዎ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ወኢሖርኩ፡ በትእዛኡ፡ ከመ፡ አበውየ፡ እስመ፡ ንሕነሰ፡ አልብነ፡ ሕግ፡ ወለሊከ፡ ተአምር፡ ከመ፡ ናመልክ፡ ጣዖተ፡ በከመ፡ መሐሩነ፡ አበዊነ።
那時，他從坑中上來，向先知下拜，說：我若離開你，願主如此這般地待我；倒要使我成為你所願意的。因為我惹主憂傷，又不像我祖宗那樣行在祂的誡命中；因為我們本沒有律法，你自己也知道，我們敬拜偶像，正如我們祖宗所教導我們的。
And at that time he came up out of the pit and bowed down to the prophet, saying: Thus and thus may the Lord do to me, if I depart from you; rather, make me to be whatever you desire. For I grieved the Lord and did not walk in His commandments, as did my fathers; for we had no law, and you yourself know that we worship idols, as our fathers taught us.
3:12
ወአነሰ፡ ኢሰማዕኩ፡ ቃለ፡ ነቢያቲሁ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ እሰከ፡ ይእዜ፡ እስመ፡ ኃጥእ፡ አነ፡ ዘሖርኩ፡ በኃጢአትየ፡ ወበትዕቢተ፡ ልብየ፡ ወበግዝፈተ፡ ክሣድየ፡ ዘአምዓዕኩ፡ ትእዛዘ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወኢሖርኩ፡ በትእዛዙ፡ ወኵነኔሁ፡ ዘአዘዘኒ።
直到如今，我未曾聽從主眾先知的話；因為我是個罪人，行在自己的罪中、心裡的驕傲中，並硬著頸項，以致惹主的誡命憂傷；我也沒有行在祂所吩咐我的誡命和審斷中。
And I have not until now hearkened to the word of the prophets of the Lord; for I am a sinner who walked in my sin and in the pride of my heart and in the stiffness of my neck, whereby I grieved the commandment of the Lord; and I did not walk in His commandment and His judgment which He commanded me.
3:13
ወአውሥአ፡ ነቢይ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ አእመርኩ፡ ከመ፡ ይእዜ፡ ተወክፈ፡ ንስሐከ፡ እስመ፡ አልቦ፡ እምቅድሜክሙ፡ ዘይትአመና፡ ለኣጢአቱ፡ እምዘመድክሙ።
先知回答他說：我看出主如今已悅納你的悔改，因為在你以先、你眾親族之中，未曾有人承認自己的罪。
And the prophet answered and said to him: I perceive that the Lord has now received your repentance, for there was none before you, of all your kindred, who confessed his sin.
3:14
ወእምይእዜሰ፡ ኅድግ፡ አምልኮተ፡ ጣዖት፡ ወተመይጥ፡ ውስተ፡ አእምሮ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ከመ፡ ይኩን፡ ንስሐከ፡ ዘበአማን፡ ወሰገደ፡ ታሕተ፡ እገሪሁ፡ ለነቢይ፡ ወአንሥአ፡ ነቢይ፡ ወአዘዞ፡ ኵሎ፡ ዘይደሉ፡ ምግባረ፡ ሠናይ።
從今以後，你要離棄拜偶像的事，歸向認識主，使你的悔改成為真實的。於是他俯伏在先知腳下；先知扶他起來，將一切當行的善事教導他。
And from now, forsake the worship of idols and turn to the knowledge of the Lord, that your repentance may be true. And he bowed down beneath the feet of the prophet; and the prophet raised him up and instructed him in all the good works that are fitting.
3:15
ወገብረ፡ በከመ፡ አዘዞ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወገብአ፡ ውስተ፡ ቤቱ።
他照主所吩咐的一切而行，就回到自己的家中。
And he did according to all that the Lord had commanded, and he returned to his house.
3:16
ወውእቱኒ፡ መቃቢስ፡ አርትዓ፡ ለነፍሱ፡ ውአሰሰለ፡ እምቤቱ፡ ኵሎ፡ ሰገለ፡ ወጠዖተ፡ ወማርያነ፡ ወመጥዓውያን፡ ወመሰግላን።
這梅加比斯端正了自己的心，又從家中除去一切的占卜、偶像、行邪術的、觀兆的和術士。
And this Meqabis set his soul aright and put away from his house all the divination and the idols and the diviners and the soothsayers and the sorcerers.
3:17
ወደቂቀ፡ ፂዋኒ፡ እለ፡ አምጽኦሙ፡ እምኢየሩሳሌም፡ የሐትቶሙ፡ ሠርከ፡ ወነግሃ፡ ኵሎ፡ ትእዛዘ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወሕጎ፡ ወሥርዓቶ፡ በከመ፡ ይገብሩ፡ አበዊሆሙ።
他把從耶路撒冷帶來被擄的孩子們，早晚都按主的一切誡命、律法和典章察驗他們，正如他們的祖宗所行的。
And the children of the captivity, whom he had brought from Jerusalem, he examined evening and morning in all the commandment of the Lord and His law and His ordinance, as their fathers had done.
3:18
ወሤመ፡ እምደቂቀ፡ ፄዋ፡ እምጠቢባን፡ ውስተ፡ ቤቱ።
他從被擄的孩子中，揀選有智慧的人,派他們管理他的家。
And from among the children of the captivity he appointed wise ones over his house.
3:19
ወካዕበ፡ እምንዑሳን፡ እምጠቢባኒሆሙ፡ ሢመ፡ በዋዕያነ፡ ውስተ፡ ምስካቡ፡ እለ፡ የዓቅቡ፡ ንዑሳነ፡ ደቂቆ፡ መሐዘኒሆሙ፡ ከመ፡ ይምሐርዎሙ፡ ፍኖተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በከመ፡ ገብሩ፡ ደቂቀ፡ እስራኤል፡ ሕጎ፡ ወሥርዓቶ፡ ወኵነኔንሁ፡ ወፍትሐ፡ ወኵሎ፡ ምሕራማቲሆሙ፡ ዘይትሔረሙ፡ ሞዓባውያን፡ ይሰምዕ፡ እምደቂቀ፡ ፄዋ።
他又從他們中年幼有智慧的人中，揀選教師立在他的內室，叫他們看顧他的幼小孩子，教導他們主的道路，正如以色列子民所守的律法、典章、審斷和公義；他撇棄了摩押人所守的一切可憎之事，並在這些事上聽從被擄之人的教訓。
And again he appointed wise teachers from among the younger ones over his chamber, who should watch over his little children to teach them the way of the Lord, even as the children of Israel kept His law and His ordinance and His judgments and His justice; and all the abominations which the Moabites observe he set aside, and he hearkened concerning them from the children of the captivity.
3:20
ወይሥዕር፡ ምሕራማቲሆሙ፡ ወኵሉ፡ ሠገላቲሆሙ፡ ወኵሉ፡ ጣዖታቲሆሙ፡ ወኵሉ፡ መዋጽሕቲሆሙ፡ ወምሥዋዒሆሙ፡ እምነ፡ ስቡሐኒሆሙ፡ እመነ፡ ሐራጊተ፡ መራዕይሁ፡ ወእምነ፡ መቍዓለ፡ ጠሊ፡ ዘይሠውዕ፡ ለአማልክቲሁ፡ ሠርክ፡ ወነግሂ።
他毀滅了他們的可憎之物、一切的占卜、一切的偶像、一切的祭物和他們的祭壇，並早晚向他諸神所獻肥畜中的公牛和山羊羔。
And he destroyed their abominations and all their divinations and all their idols and all their offerings and their altars, the bullocks of his pastures from among his fattened beasts, and the kids of the goats which he used to sacrifice to his gods evening and morning.
3:21
ወይሠውዕ፡ ሎሙ፡ ወያመልኮሙ፡ በኵሉ፡ ግብር፡ ቀትረ፡ ወሰዓተ፡ ወይሰእሎሙ፡ ወይትአመኖሙ፡ ወይገብር፡ ፈቃዶሙ፡ በኵሉ፡ ዘነገርዎ፡ ገነውት፡ አማልክቲሁ።
他從前曾在午間和各時辰，在一切工作上向他們獻祭、敬拜他們，又向他們祈求、信靠他們，並照他諸神的祭司所對他說的一切去行他們的旨意。
And he had sacrificed to them and worshipped them in every work at noon and at the hour, and entreated them and trusted in them, and did their will in all that the priests of his gods had told him.
3:22
ወኢያስትት፡ እምቃሎሙ፡ በኵሉ፡ ዘነገርዎ፡ እስመ፡ ይመስሎ፡ በኵሉ፡ ዘአድኀንዎ።
他從前在他們所對他說的一切話上，從不藐視他們的話，因為他覺得他們在凡事上都拯救了他。
And he never used to reject anything of their word in all that they told him, for it seemed to him that in all things they had delivered him.
3:23
ውእቱሰ፡ መቃቢሰ፡ ዘዚአሆሙ፡ ፍኖተ፡ ኀደገ።
但梅加比斯離棄了屬他們的道路。
But Meqabis forsook the way that was theirs.
3:24
ወእምከመ፡ ሰምዓ፡ ዘረዓይ፡ ነገረ፡ ዘይብልዎ፡ ነቢይ፡ ወዓሠነየ፡ ፍኖቶ፡ ውስተ፡ ንስሐ፡ ወኵሉ፡ ቤቱ፡ አሠነዩ፡ ፍኖቶሙ፡ እምደቂቀ፡ እስራኤል፡ በውእቱ፡ መዋዕል፡ እስመ፡ ደቂቀ፡ እስራኤልሰ፡ አሐተ፡ ጊዜ፡ ያምዕዕዎ። ወጊዜ፡ ይቀሥፎሙ፡ የአምርዎ፡ ወየዓወይዉ፡ ኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
當他聽見人所稱的先知列阿伊的話後，就在悔改的事上修正了自己的道路；他全家修正自己道路的程度，超過了那些日子以色列子民所行的。因為以色列子民有時惹主發怒，及至祂責打他們的時候，他們才認祂，向主哀求。
And when he had heard the word of Reay which they call the prophet, he amended his way unto repentance; and all his house amended their way more than the children of Israel did in those days. For the children of Israel would at one time provoke the Lord, and when He chastised them they would acknowledge Him and cry out to the Lord.
3:25
ወሶበ፡ ርእዮሙ፡ ከመ፡ ኃሠሩ፡ በታሕተ፡ እደዊሆሙ፡ ለዕለ፡ ይሣቅይዎሙ፡ ወይግዕሩ፡ በቅድሜሁ፡ ውእተ፡ አሚረ፡ ይምሕሮሙ፡ ተዘኪሮ፡ ኪዳነ፡ አበዊሆሙ፡ ሶበ፡ የዓወይዉ፡ ኀቤሁ፡ በእንተ፡ አብርሃም፡ ወይስሐቅ፡ ወያዕቆብ፡ አበዊሆሙ።
當祂看見他們在欺壓他們之人的手下受苦被屈，又在祂面前哀求的時候，當那日祂就憐憫他們，記念他們列祖的約，那時他們為著他們的祖宗亞伯拉罕、以撒和雅各向祂哀求。
And when He saw that they were brought low beneath the hands of those who oppressed them, and that they cried out before Him, on that day He would have mercy on them, remembering the covenant of their fathers, when they cried out to Him for the sake of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob their fathers.
3:26
ወሶአ፡ አድኃኖሙ፡ ይረስእዎ፡ ለዘአድኀኖሙ፡ ወይገብዑ፡ ውስተ፡ አምልኮ፡ ጣዖት።
但祂拯救他們以後，他們卻忘記那拯救他們的主，又轉回去拜偶像。
But when He had delivered them, they would forget the One who had delivered them and return to the worship of idols.
3:27
ወውእተ፡ አሚረ፡ ይፌኑ፡ ቦሙ፡ አሕዛበ፡ እለ፡ ይሣቅይዎሙ፡ ወሶበ፡ ሣቀይዎሙ፡ ወአሕመምዎሙ፡ የዓወይዉ፡ ኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወውእተ፡ ጊዜ፡ ይምሕሮሙ፡ ወይሣሃሎሙ፡ እስመ፡ ያፈቅሮሙ፡ እስመ፡ ግብረ፡ እደዊሁ፡ እምንቱ።
當那日，祂就差遣欺壓他們的列邦攻擊他們；及至這些人苦待他們、使他們受屈的時候，他們就向主哀求，那時祂便憐憫他們、恩待他們，因為祂愛他們，他們原是祂手所造的。
And on that day He would send against them nations who oppressed them; and when these afflicted them and brought them low, they would cry out to the Lord, and at that time He would have mercy on them and be gracious to them, for He loved them, because they were the work of His hands.
3:28
ወካዕበ፡ ሶበ፡ ይጸንሖሙ፡ ይገብዑ፡ ከመ፡ ያምዕዕዎ፡ በአምላኮ፡ ጣዖት፡ ዘዓውዶሙ፡ ወግብረ፡ እደዊሆሙ፡ እኩይ።
祂使他們得享平安以後，他們又轉回去，藉著敬拜他們四圍的偶像、並他們手所行的惡事惹祂發怒。
And again, when He had given them respite, they would turn back to provoke Him by the worship of the idols round about them and by the evil work of their hands.
3:29
ወውእቱኒ፡ ያነሥእ፡ ሎሙ፡ ሕዝበ፡ ኤሎፍሊ፡ ወሞዓብ፡ ወምድያም፡ ወሶርያ፡ ወግብፅ፡ ወይበክዩ፡ ወየዓወይዉ፡ ሶበ፡ ምዕዎሙ፡ ፀሮሙ፡ ወአሕመምዎሙ፡ ወአገብርዎሙ፡ ወቀነይዎሙ፡ ወያነሥእ፡ ሎሙ፡ መሳፍንተ፡ ከመ፡ ያድኅንዎሙ፡ መሳፍንት።
祂就興起非利士、摩押、米甸、敘利亞和埃及的民攻擊他們；及至他們的仇敵勝過他們、苦待他們、奴役他們、向他們徵貢的時候，他們就哀哭哀求。祂便為他們興起士師，使這些士師拯救他們。
And He would raise up against them the people of the Philistines and Moab and Midian and Syria and Egypt; and they would weep and cry out when their enemies overcame them and afflicted them and enslaved them and made them tributary. And He would raise up for them judges, that the judges might deliver them.
