2:1
ወአመ ሣልስት ዕለት ከብካብ ኮነ በቃና ዘገሊላ ወሀለወት ህየ እሙ ለእግዚእ ኢየሱስ።
第三日，在加利利的迦拿有娶親的筵席，耶穌的母親在那裏。
The third day, there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there.
2:2
ወጸውዕዎ ለእግዚእ ኢየሱስ ወለአርዳኢሁ ውስተ ከብካብ።
耶穌和他的門徒也被請去赴席。
Jesus also was invited, with his disciples, to the wedding.
2:3
ወሶበ ኀልቀ ወይኖሙ ትቤሎ እሙ ለእግዚእ ኢየሱስ ወይንኬ አልቦሙ።
酒用盡了，耶穌的母親對他說：「他們沒有酒了。」
When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no wine.”
2:4
ወይቤላ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ ምንት ብየ ምስሌኪ ኦ ብእሲቶ ዓዲ ኢበጽሐ ጊዜየ።
耶穌說：「母親 ，我與你有甚麼相干？我的時候還沒有到。」
Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does that have to do with you and me? My hour has not yet come.”
2:5
ወትቤሎሙ እሙ ለእለ ይትለአኩ ኵሎ ዘይቤለክሙ ግበሩ።
他母親對用人說：「他告訴你們甚麼，你們就做甚麼。」
His mother said to the servants, “Whatever he says to you, do it.”
2:6
ወሀለዋ ህየ መሣብክት ስድስቱ እለ እብን በዘያጥሕሩ ቦቶን አይሁድ ንቡራት ህየ ወያገምራ በበ ክልኤቱ ወበበ ሠለስቱ መስፈርት ዘቀሡት።
照猶太人潔淨的規矩，有六口石缸擺在那裏，每口可以盛兩三桶水。
Now there were six water pots of stone set there after the Jews’ way of purifying, containing two or three metretes apiece.
2:7
ወይቤሎሙ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ ምልእዎንኬ ለእላ መሣብክት ማየ ወመልእዎን እስከ አፉሂን ወእስከ ላዕሎን።
耶穌對用人說：「把缸倒滿了水。」他們就倒滿了，直到缸口。
Jesus said to them, “Fill the water pots with water.” So they filled them up to the brim.
2:8
ወይቤሎሙ ቅድሑኬ ይእዜ ወሰዱ ወሀብዎ ለሊቀ ምርፋቅ ወወሰዱ ወወሀብዎ።
耶穌又說：「現在可以舀出來，送給管筵席的。」他們就送了去。
He said to them, “Now draw some out, and take it to the ruler of the feast.” So they took it.
2:9
ወጥዒሞ አንከረ ሊቀ ምርፋቅ ውእተ ማየ ዘኮነ ወይነ ወኢያእመረ እምኀበ አምጽእዎ ወገዛእትሰ እለ ቀድሕዎ የአምሩ ውእተ ማየ ዘኮነ ወይነ።
管筵席的嘗了那水變的酒，並不知道是哪裏來的，只有舀水的用人知道。管筵席的便叫新郎來，
When the ruler of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and didn’t know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast called the bridegroom
2:10
ወጸውዖ ሊቀ ምርፋቅ ለመርዓዊ ወይቤሎ ኵሉ ሰብእ ዘይሤኒ ወይነ ያቀድም አስትዮ ወእምድኅረ ሰክሩ ያሰቲ ዘይቴሐት ወአንተሰ ዘይሤኒ ወይነ ዐቀብከ ወአስተደኀርከ እስከ ይእዜ።
對他說：「人都是先擺上好酒，等客喝足了，才擺上次的，你倒把好酒留到如今！」
and said to him, “Everyone serves the good wine first, and when the guests have drunk freely, then that which is worse. You have kept the good wine until now!”
2:11
ወዝንቱ ቀዳሜ ተአምር ዘገብረ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ በቃና ዘገሊላ ወአርአየ ስብሐቲሁ ወአምኑ ቦቱ አርዳኢሁ።
這是耶穌所行的頭一件神蹟，是在加利利的迦拿行的，顯出他的榮耀來；他的門徒就信他了。
This beginning of his signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.
2:12
ወእምድኅረ ዝንቱ ወረዱ ቅፍርናሆም ውእቱ ወእሙ ወአኀዊሁ ወአርዳኢሁ ወነበሩ ህየ ኅዳጠ መዋዕለ ወአኮ ብዙኀ።
這事以後，耶穌與他的母親、弟兄，和門徒都下迦百農去，在那裏住了不多幾日。
After this, he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, his brothers, and his disciples; and they stayed there a few days.
2:13
ወቀርበ በዓለ ፋሲካሆሙ ለአይሁድ ወዐርገ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ ኢየሩሳሌም።
猶太人的逾越節近了，耶穌就上耶路撒冷去。
The Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
2:14
ወረከበ በምኵራብ እለ ይሠይጡ ወይሣየጡ አልሕምተ ወአባግዐ ወአርጋበ ወመወልጣነ እንዘ ይነብሩ።
看見殿裏有賣牛、羊、鴿子的，並有兌換銀錢的人坐在那裏，
He found in the temple those who sold oxen, sheep, and doves, and the changers of money sitting.
2:15
ወገብረ መቅሠፍተ ጥብጣቤ ዘሐብል ወሰደደ ኵሎ እምኵራብ አባግዐኒ ወአልሕምተኒ ወዘረወ ወርቆሙ ለመወልጣን ወገፍትዐ ማእዳቲሆሙ ወመናብርቲሆሙ ለእለ ይሠይጡ ርግበ ገንጰለ።
耶穌就拿繩子做成鞭子，把牛羊都趕出殿去，倒出兌換銀錢之人的銀錢，推翻他們的桌子，
He made a whip of cords and drove all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers’ money and overthrew their tables.
2:16
ወይቤሎሙ ለእለ ይሠይጡ አርጋበ አሰስሉ ወአውፅኡ ዘንተ እምዝየ ወኢትረስዩ ቤተ አቡየ ቤተ ምሥያጥ።
又對賣鴿子的說：「把這些東西拿去！不要將我父的殿當作買賣的地方。」
To those who sold the doves, he said, “Take these things out of here! Don’t make my Father’s house a marketplace!”
2:17
ወተዘከሩ አርዳኢሁ ከመ ጽሑፍ ውእቱ ዘይብል «ቅንአተ ቤትከ በልዐኒ።»
他的門徒就想起經上記着說：「我為你的殿心裏焦急，如同火燒。」
His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for your house will eat me up.”
2:18
ወአውሥእዎ አይሁድ ወይቤልዎ ምንተ ትእምርተ ታርኢ ዘዘንተ ትገብር።
因此猶太人問他說：「你既做這些事，還顯甚麼神蹟給我們看呢？」
The Jews therefore answered him, “What sign do you show us, seeing that you do these things?”
2:19
ወአውሥአ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ ወይቤሎሙ ንሥትዎ ለዝንቱ ቤተ መቅደስ ወበሠሉስ ዕለት አነሥኦ።
耶穌回答說：「你們拆毀這殿，我三日內要再建立起來。」
Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”
2:20
ወይቤልዎ አይሁድ በአርብዓ ወስድስቱ ዓመት ተሐንጸ ዝንቱ ቤተ መቅደስ ወአንተሰ በሠሉስ መዋዕል ታነሥኦ።
猶太人便說：「這殿是四十六年才造成的，你三日內就再建立起來嗎？」
The Jews therefore said, “It took forty-six years to build this temple! Will you raise it up in three days?”
2:21
ወውእቱሰ በእንተ ቤተ ሥጋሁ ይቤሎሙ፤
但耶穌這話是以他的身體為殿。
But he spoke of the temple of his body.
2:22
ወአመ ተንሥአ እምነ ምዉታን ተዘከሩ አርዳኢሁ ከመ በእንተዝ ይቤሎሙ ወአምኑ በቃለ መጻሕፍት ወበቃለ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ ዘይቤሎሙ።
所以到他從死裏復活以後，門徒就想起他說過這話，便信了聖經和耶穌所說的。
When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he said this, and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said.
2:23
ወእንዘ ሀሎ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ ኢየሩሳሌም በበዓለ ፋሲካ ብዙኃን አምኑ በስሙ ሶበ ርእዩ ተኣምረ ዘገብረ።
當耶穌在耶路撒冷過逾越節的時候，有許多人看見他所行的神蹟，就信了他的名。
Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in his name, observing his signs which he did.
2:24
ወውእቱሰ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ ኢየአምኖሙ እስመ የአምሮ ለኵሉ ለለ አሐዱ።
耶穌卻不將自己交託他們；因為他知道萬人，
But Jesus didn’t entrust himself to them, because he knew everyone,
2:25
ወኢይፈቅድ ይንግርዎ ግዕዞ ለሰብእ እስመ ለሊሁ የአምሮ ለሰብእ።
也用不着誰見證人怎樣，因他知道人心裏所存的。
and because he didn’t need for anyone to testify concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.
