10:1

አሉ፡ እምኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዝናመ፡ ጸደይ፡ ወመጸው። እግዚአብሔር፡ ብ፡ ለምትሐተ፡ ዐይን፡ ወይሁቦሙ፡ ዝናመ፡ ተወን፡ ወያበቊል፡ ሣዕረ፡ በገዳም።

當春雨的時候，你們要向發閃電的耶和華求雨。他必為眾人降下甘霖，使田園生長菜蔬。

Ask of Yahweh rain in the spring time, Yahweh who makes storm clouds, and he gives rain showers to everyone for the plants in the field.

10:2

እስመ፡ እለ፡ ትዋስኡ፡ ነበቡ፡ ፃማ፡ ወእለ፡ ሰግሉ፡ ርእዩ፡ ሐሰት፡ ወነገሩ፡ ህልመ፡ ሀሰት፡ ወከንቶ፡ መሐሩ፡ ወበእንተ፡ ዝናቱ፡ ደወዩ፡ ከመ፡ አባግዕ፡ ወየብሱ፡ እስመ፡ አልቦ፡ ሣህለ።

因為，家神所言的是虛空；卜士所見的是虛假；做夢者所說的是假夢。他們白白地安慰人，所以眾人如羊流離，因無牧人就受苦。

For the teraphim have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie; and they have told false dreams. They comfort in vain. Therefore they go their way like sheep. They are oppressed, because there is no shepherd.

10:3

እስመ፡ ነደት፡ መዐትየ፡ ላዕክ፡ ኖሎት፡ ወእዋሕየሙ፡ ለአባግዕየ። ወይሔውጾ፡ እግዚእሔር፡ ዘኲሎ፡ ይመልክ፡ ለመርዔቱ፡ ለቤተ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወይርስሙ፡ ከመ፡ ፈረስ፡ ሥሙር፡ ለጸብእ።

我的怒氣向牧人發作；我必懲罰公山羊；因我－萬軍之耶和華眷顧自己的羊群，就是猶大家，必使他們如駿馬在陣上。

My anger is kindled against the shepherds, and I will punish the male goats, for Yahweh of Armies has visited his flock, the house of Judah, and will make them as his majestic horse in the battle.

10:4

ወእምኔሁ፡ ርእየ፡ ወእምኔሁ፡ ረሰየ፡ ቀስተ፡ ለመዐቱ፡ ወእምኔሁ፡ ይወፅእ፡ ኲሉ፡ ዘየነድእ፡ ቦቱ።

房角石、釘子、爭戰的弓，和一切掌權的都從他而出。

From him will come the cornerstone, from him the tent peg, from him the battle bow, from him every ruler together.

10:5

ወይከውኑ፡ ከመ፡ ዘይከይድ፡ ጽንጒነ፡ መርሕብ፡ እንዘ፡ ይትበአስ፡ በውስተ፡ ፍኖተ፡ ቀትል፡ ወይረውዱ፡ ወኢይክልዎ፡ እስመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ምስሌሁ፡ ወይትኀፈሩ፡ መስተጽዕናነ፡ አፍራስ።

他們必如勇士在陣上將仇敵踐踏在街上的泥土中。他們必爭戰，因為耶和華與他們同在；騎馬的也必羞愧。

They will be as mighty men, treading down muddy streets in the battle. They will fight, because Yahweh is with them. The riders on horses will be confounded.

10:6

ወአጸንዖ፡ ለቤተ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ውኅኖ፡ ለቤተ፡ ዩሴፍ፡ ወእመይጦሙ፡ እስመ፡ አፍቀርክዎሙ፡ ወይከውነኑከመ፡ አመ፡ ሜጥክዎሙ፡ እስመ፡ አነ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አምላኮሙ፡ እሠጠዎሙ።

我要堅固猶大家，拯救約瑟家，要領他們歸回。我要憐恤他們；他們必像未曾棄絕的一樣，都因我是耶和華－他們的上帝，我必應允他們的禱告。

“I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph. I will bring them back, for I have mercy on them. They will be as though I had not cast them off, for I am Yahweh their God, and I will hear them.

10:7

ወይከው፡ ከመ፡ መስተቃትላነ፡ ኤፍሬም፡ ወይትፌሥሖሙ፡ ልቦሙ፡ ከመ፡ ዘበወይን፡ ወይሬእዩ፡ ውሉዶሙ፡ ወይትኀሠዩ፡ ወይትፌሣሕ፡ ልቦሙ፡ በእግዚአብሔር።

以法蓮人必如勇士；他們心中暢快如同喝酒；他們的兒女必看見而快活；他們的心必因耶和華喜樂。

Ephraim will be like a mighty man, and their heart will rejoice as through wine. Yes, their children will see it and rejoice. Their heart will be glad in Yahweh.

10:8

እትኤመሮሙ፡ ወእትዌከፎሙ፡ እስመ፡ አነ፡ እባልሖሙ፡ ይበዝኁ፡ በከመ፡ ብዝኖመ።

我要發嘶聲，聚集他們，因我已經救贖他們。他們的人數必加增，如從前加增一樣。

I will signal for them and gather them, for I have redeemed them. They will increase as they were before.

10:9

እዘርዎሙ፡ ውስተ፡ አሕዛብ፡ ወእለሂ፡ ርኁቃን፡ ይዜከሩኒ፡ ወይሐፅኑ፡ ውሉዶሙ፡ ወይትመየጡ።

我雖然播散他們在列國中，他們必在遠方記念我。他們與兒女都必存活，且得歸回。

I will sow them among the peoples. They will remember me in far countries. They will live with their children and will return.

10:10

ወእሜጦሙ፡ እምፋርስ፡ ወእወስዶሙ፡ ገለአድ፡ ወውስተ፡ ሊባኖስ፡ ወኢይተረፍ፡ አሐዱ፡ እምኔሆሙ።

我必再領他們出埃及地，招聚他們出亞述，領他們到基列和黎巴嫩；這地尚且不夠他們居住。

I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria. I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and there won’t be room enough for them.

10:11

ወየኀልፋ፡ እንተ፡ ባህር፡ ጻባብ፡ ወይከይዱ፡ ዲበ፡ መዕበለ፡ ባሕር፡ ወይየብሱ፡ ኲሉ፡ ጽዕለተ፡ ፋርስ፡ ወይትአተት፡ በትረ፡ ግብጽ።

耶和華必經過苦海，擊打海浪，使尼羅河的深處都枯乾。亞述的驕傲必致卑微；埃及的權柄必然滅沒。

He will pass through the sea of affliction, and will strike the waves in the sea, and all the depths of the Nile will dry up; and the pride of Assyria will be brought down, and the scepter of Egypt will depart.

10:12

ወአጸንኦሙ፡ በእግዚአብሔር፡ እላኮሙ፡ ወይትሜክሑ፡ በስምየ፡ ይቤ፡ እዚአብሔር።

我必使他們倚靠我，得以堅固；一舉一動必奉我的名。這是耶和華說的。

I will strengthen them in Yahweh. They will walk up and down in his name,” says Yahweh.
