3:1

ወአሪአየኒ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለዮስዕ፡ ካህን፡ ዓቢይ፡ ይቅም፡ ቅድመ፡ ገጹ፡ ለመልአከ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወይቀውም፡ ሰይጣን፡ በየማነ፡ ከመ፡ ዕቅፎ።

天使又指給我看：大祭司約書亞站在耶和華的使者面前；撒但也站在約書亞的右邊，與他作對。

He showed me Joshua the high priest standing before Yahweh’s angel, and Satan standing at his right hand to be his adversary.

3:2

ወይቤሎ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ለሰይጣን፡ ለያኀስርከ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘኀረያ፡ ለኢየሩሳም፡ ወናሀከኩኮነ፡ ዝን፡ ከመ፡ ትንታ፡ ዘአውፅእዎ፡ አምእሳት።

耶和華向撒但說：「撒但哪，耶和華責備你！就是揀選耶路撒冷的耶和華責備你！這不是從火中抽出來的一根柴嗎？」

Yahweh said to Satan, “Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yes, Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?”

3:3

ወዮሴዕኒ፡ ይለብስ፡ አልባሰ፡ ርሱሐ፡ ወይቀውም፡ ቅድመ፡ ገጹ፡ ለመልአከ፡ እግዚአብሔር።

約書亞穿着污穢的衣服站在使者面前。

Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the angel.

3:4

ወይቤሎ፡ ለዘይቀውም፡ ቅድም፡ ገጹ፡ አእትት፡ አለወባሰ፡ ርሱሐ፡ እምሳዕሌሆ፡ ናሁሐ፡ እምላዕሌሁ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ናሁ፡ አእትትኩ፡ ኃጢአተከ፡ ወአልበስኩከ፡ ጳዴረ።

使者吩咐站在面前的說：「你們要脫去他污穢的衣服」；又對約書亞說：「我使你脫離罪孽，要給你穿上華美的衣服。」

He answered and spoke to those who stood before him, saying, “Take the filthy garments off him.” To him he said, “Behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with rich clothing.”

3:5

ወወደዩ፡ ሰበነ፡ ንጹሀ፡ ውስተርእሱ፡ ወአልበስዎ፤አልባሰ። ወቆመ፡ መልአከ፡ ግዚአብሔር።

我說：「要將潔淨的冠冕戴在他頭上。」他們就把潔淨的冠冕戴在他頭上，給他穿上華美的衣服，耶和華的使者在旁邊站立。

I said, “Let them set a clean turban on his head.” So they set a clean turban on his head, and clothed him; and Yahweh’s angel was standing by.

3:6

ወአስዐ፡ ሎቱ፡ መልአከ፡ እግዚብሔር፡ ለዮሴዕ፡ ወይቤሎ።

耶和華的使者告誡約書亞說：

Yahweh’s angel solemnly assured Joshua, saying,

3:7

ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለኲሎ፡ ይመልክ፡ እመ፡ በፍኖትየ፡ ሖርከ፡ ወዐቀብከ፡ ትእዛዝየ፡ ወአንተ፡ ትኳንን፡ ቤትየ፡ ወእመ፡ ዐቀብከ፡ ዐጸድየ፡ እሀበከ፡ ዜከውነከ፡ በማእለ፡ እሉ፡ እ፡ ይቀውመ።

「萬軍之耶和華如此說：你若遵行我的道，謹守我的命令，你就可以管理我的家，看守我的院宇；我也要使你在這些站立的人中間來往。

“Yahweh of Armies says: ‘If you will walk in my ways, and if you will follow my instructions, then you also shall judge my house, and shall also keep my courts, and I will give you a place of access among these who stand by.

3:8

ስመዕ፡ ዮስዕ፡ ወልደ፡ ሴዴቅ፡ አንተ፡ ካህነ፡ ዓቢይ፡ ወቢጽከ፡ እለ፡ ነበሩ፡ ቅድመ፡ ገጽከ፡ ስመ፡ ሰብአ፡ ዔን፡ እሙንቱ፡ ወናሁ፡ እነ፡ አምጽኦ፡ ለገብርየ፡ ሠረቃዊ።

大祭司約書亞啊，你和坐在你面前的同伴都當聽。（他們是作預兆的。）我必使我僕人大衛的苗裔發出。

Hear now, Joshua the high priest, you and your fellows who sit before you, for they are men who are a sign; for, behold, I will bring out my servant, the Branch.

3:9

ወእብነ፡ እንተ፡ ወሀብኩ፡ ቅድመ፡ ገጹ፡ ለዮስዕለ፡ ዘዳበ፡ አሐቲ፡ እብን፡ ሰብዓ፡ አዕይነት፡ እሙንቱ። ወናሁ፡ አነ፡ አከሪ፡ በ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘኲሎ፡ ይመልከ፡ ወእገስሳ፡ ላዕለ፡ ኲሉ፡ ኃጢታ፡ ለይእቲ፡ ምድር፡ በአሐቲ፡ ዕለት።

看哪，我在約書亞面前所立的石頭，在一塊石頭上有七眼。萬軍之耶和華說：我要親自雕刻這石頭，並要在一日之間除掉這地的罪孽。

For, behold, the stone that I have set before Joshua: on one stone are seven eyes; behold, I will engrave its inscription,’ says Yahweh of Armies, ‘and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

3:10

ይእተ፡ አሚረ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘኲሎ፡ ይመልክ፡ ኲልክሙ፡ ጸውዑ፡ ቢጸክሙ፡ ታህተ፡ ወይንክሙ፡ ወታሕተ፡ በለስክሙ።

當那日，你們各人要請鄰舍坐在葡萄樹和無花果樹下。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。」

In that day,’ says Yahweh of Armies, ‘you will invite every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree.’”
