3:1
ἐπὶ δὲ τούτοις τὸ πᾶσιν εὐκταῖον ἡμῖν καὶ ποθούμενον συνεκροτεῖτο θέαμα, ἐγκαινίων ἑορταὶ κατὰ πόλεις, καὶ τῶν ἄρτι νεοπαγῶν προσευκτηρίων ἀφιερώσεις ἐπισκόπων τε ἐπὶ ταὐτὸ συνηλύσεις, τῶν πόρρωθεν ἐξ ἀλλοδαπῆς συνδρομαὶ, λαῶν εἰς λαοὺς φιλοφρονήσεις, τῶν Χριστοῦ σώματος μελῶν εἰς μίαν συνιόντων ἁρμονίαν ἕνωσις.
這些事以後，便成就了我們眾人所祈求、所切慕的景象：各城中有奉獻的節期，新建禱告之所的祝聖，眾主教聚集於一處，遠方異邦之人的雲集，民與民之間親切的問候，基督身體上的各肢體聯合成為一個和諧的合一。
After these things there was brought to pass the spectacle prayed for and longed for by us all: festivals of dedication in the cities, and consecrations of the newly built houses of prayer, gatherings of bishops to one place, comings together of those from far-off foreign lands, kindly greetings of peoples toward peoples, the union of the members of Christ's body coming together into one harmony.
3:2
συνήγετο δ οὖν ἀκολούθως προρρήσει προφητικῇ μυστικῶς τὸ μέλλον προσημαινούσῃ ὀστέον πρὸς ὀστέον καὶ ἁρμονία πρὸς ἁρμονίαν, καὶ ὅσα θεσπίζων ὁ λόγος δι αἰνιγμάτων ἀψευδῶς προανετείνετο.
於是，正如那奧祕地預示將來之事的先知預言所說，骨與骨相連，節與節相接，並一切那聖言藉著隱語誠實預先伸明的事，都聚合在一起。
Thus there came together, in accordance with a prophetic prediction that mystically foreshadowed what was to come, bone to bone and joint to joint, and all that the oracular word truly held forth beforehand in riddles.
3:3
μία τε ἦν θείου πνεύματος διὰ πάντων τῶν μελῶν χωροῦσα δύναμις, καὶ ψυχὴ τῶν πάντων μία, καὶ προθυμία πίστεως ἡ αὐτὴ, καὶ εἷς ἐξ ἁπάντων θεολογίας ὕμνος· ναὶ μὴν καὶ τῶν προηγουμένων ἐντελεῖς θρησκεῖαι, ἱερουργίαι τε τῶν ἱερωμένων, καὶ θεοπρεπεῖς ἐκκλησίας θεσμοὶ, ὧδε μὲν ψαλμῳδίαις καὶ ταῖς λοιπαῖς τῶν θεόθεν ἡμῖν παραδοθεισῶν φωνῶν ἀκροάσεσιν, ὧδε δὲ θείαις καὶ μυστικαῖς ἐπιτελουμέναις διακονίαις· σωτήριον τε ἦν πάθους ἀπόρρητα σύμβολα.
屬神之靈的能力是同一的，貫穿眾肢體；眾人的心是同一的，信心的熱誠也是同一的，眾人同發一首頌讚神的詩歌。確實，主領之眾的禮儀完全無缺，受聖職者所行的聖工，並教會合乎神的典章，在此有詩篇與其餘從神交付給我們之言語的誦讀，在彼有屬神而奧祕的事奉施行；救主受難那不可言說的表記也都在場。
And one was the power of the divine Spirit passing through all the members, and one the soul of all, and the same eagerness of faith, and from all a single hymn of theology; yea, and the perfect ceremonies of the presiding clergy, and the sacred rites of those who had been consecrated, and the godly ordinances of the Church—here with psalmody and the rest of the readings of the words handed down to us from God, there with the divine and mystic ministries being performed; and the ineffable symbols of the Saviour's Passion were present.
3:4
ὁμοῦ δὲ πᾶν γένος ἡλικίας ἄρρενός τε καὶ θήλεος φύσεως ὅλῃ διανοίας ἰσχύι· δι εὐχῶν καὶ εὐχαριστίας γεγηθότι νῷ καὶ ψυχῇ τὸν τῶν ἀγαθῶν παραίτιον θεὸν ἐγέραιρον. ἐκίνει δὲ καὶ λόγους ἅπας τῶν παρόντων ἀρχόντων πανηγυρικοὺς, ὡς ἑκάστῳ παρῆν δυνάμεως, θειάζων τὴν πανήγυριν.
凡各樣年歲的人，無論男女，都一同竭盡心思的全力，藉著禱告與感謝，以歡欣的心思與靈魂，將尊榮歸給神，就是賜他們各樣美善之事的源頭。在場的眾領袖也都各按自己的才能，發表頌讚的講論，使這節慶充滿屬神的氣象。
And all together, every kind of age, of male and female nature, with the whole strength of their understanding, through prayers and thanksgivings, with rejoicing mind and soul, gave honour to God, the Author of their good things. And every one of the rulers present moved them with panegyric discourses, each according to the ability that was his, making the festival divine.
