14:1
Erat autem Pascha et azyma post biduum : et quaerebant summi sacerdotes et scribae quomodo eum dolo tenerent, et occiderent.
過兩天是逾越節,又是除酵節,祭司長和文士想法子怎麼用詭計捉拿耶穌,殺他。
It was now two days before the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might seize him by deception and kill him.
14:2
Dicebant autem : Non in die festo, ne forte tumultus fieret in populo.
只是說:「當節的日子不可,恐怕百姓生亂。」
For they said, “Not during the feast, because there might be a riot among the people.”
14:3
Et cum esset Bethaniae in domo Simonis leprosi, et recumberet, venit mulier habens alabastrum unguenti nardi spicati pretiosi : et fracto alabastro, effudit super caput ejus.
耶穌在伯大尼長大痲瘋的西門家裏坐席的時候,有一個女人拿着一玉瓶至貴的真哪噠香膏來,打破玉瓶,把膏澆在耶穌的頭上。
While he was at Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at the table, a woman came having an alabaster jar of ointment of pure nard—very costly. She broke the jar and poured it over his head.
14:4
Erant autem quidam indigne ferentes intra semetipsos, et dicentes : Ut quid perditio ista unguenti facta est ?
有幾個人心中很不喜悅,說:「何用這樣枉費香膏呢?
But there were some who were indignant among themselves, saying, “Why has this ointment been wasted?
14:5
poterat enim unguentum istud venundari plus quam trecentis denariis, et dari pauperibus. Et fremebant in eam.
這香膏可以賣三十多兩銀子賙濟窮人。」他們就向那女人生氣。
For this might have been sold for more than three hundred denarii and given to the poor.” So they grumbled against her.
14:6
Jesus autem dixit : Sinite eam, quid illi molesti estis ? Bonum opus operata est in me :
耶穌說:「由她吧!為甚麼難為她呢?她在我身上做的是一件美事。
But Jesus said, “Leave her alone. Why do you trouble her? She has done a good work for me.
14:7
semper enim pauperes habetis vobiscum : et cum volueritis, potestis illis benefacere : me autem non semper habetis.
因為常有窮人和你們同在,要向他們行善隨時都可以;只是你們不常有我。
For you always have the poor with you, and whenever you want to, you can do them good; but you will not always have me.
14:8
Quod habuit haec, fecit : praevenit ungere corpus meum in sepulturam.
她所做的,是盡她所能的;她是為我安葬的事把香膏預先澆在我身上。
She has done what she could. She has anointed my body beforehand for the burying.
14:9
Amen dico vobis : Ubicumque praedicatum fuerit Evangelium istud in universo mundo, et quod fecit haec, narrabitur in memoriam ejus.
我實在告訴你們,普天之下,無論在甚麼地方傳這福音,也要述說這女人所做的,以為記念。」
Most certainly I tell you, wherever this Good News may be preached throughout the whole world, that which this woman has done will also be spoken of for a memorial of her.”
14:10
Et Judas Iscariotes, unus de duodecim, abiit ad summos sacerdotes, ut proderet eum illis.
十二門徒之中,有一個加略人猶大去見祭司長,要把耶穌交給他們。
Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve, went away to the chief priests, that he might deliver him to them.
14:11
Qui audientes gavisi sunt : et promiserunt ei pecuniam se daturos. Et quaerebat quomodo illum opportune traderet.
他們聽見就歡喜,又應許給他銀子;他就尋思如何得便把耶穌交給他們。
They, when they heard it, were glad, and promised to give him money. He sought how he might conveniently deliver him.
14:12
Et primo die azymorum quando Pascha immolabant, dicunt ei discipuli : Quo vis eamus, et paremus tibi ut manduces Pascha ?
除酵節的第一天,就是宰逾越羊羔的那一天,門徒對耶穌說:「你吃逾越節的筵席要我們往哪裏去預備呢?」
On the first day of unleavened bread, when they sacrificed the Passover, his disciples asked him, “Where do you want us to go and prepare that you may eat the Passover?”
14:13
Et mittit duos ex discipulis suis, et dicit eis : Ite in civitatem, et occurret vobis homo lagenam aquae bajulans : sequimini eum,
耶穌就打發兩個門徒,對他們說:「你們進城去,必有人拿着一瓶水迎面而來,你們就跟着他。
He sent two of his disciples and said to them, “Go into the city, and there a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him,
14:14
et quocumque introierit, dicite domino domus, quia magister dicit : Ubi est refectio mea, ubi Pascha cum discipulis meis manducem ?
他進哪家去,你們就對那家的主人說:『夫子說:客房在哪裏?我與門徒好在那裏吃逾越節的筵席。』
and wherever he enters in, tell the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, “Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’
14:15
Et ipse vobis demonstrabit coenaculum grande, stratum : et illic parate nobis.
他必指給你們擺設整齊的一間大樓,你們就在那裏為我們預備。」
He will himself show you a large upper room furnished and ready. Get ready for us there.”
14:16
Et abierunt discipuli ejus, et venerunt in civitatem : et invenerunt sicut dixerat illis, et paraverunt Pascha.
門徒出去,進了城,所遇見的正如耶穌所說的。他們就預備了逾越節的筵席。
His disciples went out, and came into the city, and found things as he had said to them, and they prepared the Passover.
14:17
Vespere autem facto, venit cum duodecim.
到了晚上,耶穌和十二個門徒都來了。
When it was evening he came with the twelve.
14:18
Et discumbentibus eis, et manducantibus, ait Jesus : Amen dico vobis, quia unus ex vobis tradet me, qui manducat mecum.
他們坐席正吃的時候,耶穌說:「我實在告訴你們,你們中間有一個與我同吃的人要賣我了。」
As they sat and were eating, Jesus said, “Most certainly I tell you, one of you will betray me—he who eats with me.”
14:19
At illi coeperunt contristari, et dicere ei singulatim : Numquid ego ?
他們就憂愁起來,一個一個地問他說:「是我嗎?」
They began to be sorrowful, and to ask him one by one, “Surely not I?” And another said, “Surely not I?”
14:20
Qui ait illis : Unus ex duodecim, qui intingit mecum manum in catino.
耶穌對他們說:「是十二個門徒中同我蘸手在盤子裏的那個人。
He answered them, “It is one of the twelve, he who dips with me in the dish.
14:21
Et Filius quidem hominis vadit sicut scriptum est de eo : vae autem homini illi per quem Filius hominis tradetur ! bonum erat ei, si non esset natus homo ille.
人子必要去世,正如經上指着他所寫的;但賣人子的人有禍了!那人不生在世上倒好。」
For the Son of Man goes as it is written about him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would be better for that man if he had not been born.”
14:22
Et manducantibus illis, accepit Jesus panem : et benedicens fregit, et dedit eis, et ait : Sumite, hoc est corpus meum.
他們吃的時候,耶穌拿起餅來,祝了福,就擘開,遞給他們,說:「你們拿着吃,這是我的身體」;
As they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had blessed it, he broke it and gave to them, and said, “Take, eat. This is my body.”
14:23
Et accepto calice, gratias agens dedit eis : et biberunt ex illo omnes.
又拿起杯來,祝謝了,遞給他們;他們都喝了。
He took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave to them. They all drank of it.
14:24
Et ait illis : Hic est sanguis meus novi testamenti, qui pro multis effundetur.
耶穌說:「這是我立約的血,為多人流出來的。
He said to them, “This is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many.
14:25
Amen dico vobis, quia jam non bibam de hoc genimine vitis usque in diem illum, cum illud bibam novum in regno Dei.
我實在告訴你們,我不再喝這葡萄汁,直到我在上帝的國裏喝新的那日子。」
Most certainly I tell you, I will no more drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it anew in God’s Kingdom.”
14:26
Et hymno dicto exierunt in montem Olivarum.
他們唱了詩,就出來,往橄欖山去。
When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
14:27
Et ait eis Jesus : Omnes scandalizabimini in me in nocte ista : quia scriptum est : Percutiam pastorem, et dispergentur oves.
耶穌對他們說:「你們都要跌倒了,因為經上記着說: 我要擊打牧人, 羊就分散了。
Jesus said to them, “All of you will be made to stumble because of me tonight, for it is written, ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’
14:28
Sed postquam resurrexero, praecedam vos in Galilaeam.
但我復活以後,要在你們以先往加利利去。」
However, after I am raised up, I will go before you into Galilee.”
14:29
Petrus autem ait illi : Et si omnes scandalizati fuerint in te, sed non ego.
彼得說:「眾人雖然跌倒,我總不能。」
But Peter said to him, “Although all will be offended, yet I will not.”
14:30
Et ait illi Jesus : Amen dico tibi, quia tu hodie in nocte hac, priusquam gallus vocem bis dederit, ter me es negaturus.
耶穌對他說:「我實在告訴你,就在今天夜裏,雞叫兩遍以先,你要三次不認我。」
Jesus said to him, “Most certainly I tell you that you today, even this night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.”
14:31
At ille amplius loquebatur : Et si oportuerit me simul commori tibi, non te negabo. Similiter autem et omnes dicebant.
彼得卻極力地說:「我就是必須和你同死,也總不能不認你。」眾門徒都是這樣說。
But he spoke all the more, “If I must die with you, I will not deny you.” They all said the same thing.
14:32
Et veniunt in praedium, cui nomen Gethsemani. Et ait discipulis suis : Sedete hic donec orem.
他們來到一個地方,名叫客西馬尼。耶穌對門徒說:「你們坐在這裏,等我禱告。」
They came to a place which was named Gethsemane. He said to his disciples, “Sit here while I pray.”
14:33
Et assumit Petrum, et Jacobum, et Joannem secum : et coepit pavere et taedere.
於是帶着彼得、雅各、約翰同去,就驚恐起來,極其難過,
He took with him Peter, James, and John, and began to be greatly troubled and distressed.
14:34
Et ait illis : Tristis est anima mea usque ad mortem : sustinete hic, et vigilate.
對他們說:「我心裏甚是憂傷,幾乎要死;你們在這裏等候,警醒。」
He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch.”
14:35
Et cum processisset paululum, procidit super terram, et orabat ut, si fieri posset, transiret ab eo hora.
他就稍往前走,俯伏在地,禱告說:「倘若可行,便叫那時候過去。」
He went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass away from him.
14:36
Et dixit : Abba pater, omnia tibi possibilia sunt : transfer calicem hunc a me : sed non quod ego volo, sed quod tu.
他說:「阿爸!父啊!在你凡事都能;求你將這杯撤去。然而,不要從我的意思,只要從你的意思。」
He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible to you. Please remove this cup from me. However, not what I desire, but what you desire.”
14:37
Et venit, et invenit eos dormientes. Et ait Petro : Simon, dormis ? non potuisti una hora vigilare ?
耶穌回來,見他們睡着了,就對彼得說:「西門,你睡覺嗎?不能警醒片時嗎?
He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Couldn’t you watch one hour?
14:38
vigilate et orate, ut non intretis in tentationem. Spiritus quidem promptus est, caro vero infirma.
總要警醒禱告,免得入了迷惑。你們心靈固然願意,肉體卻軟弱了。」
Watch and pray, that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
14:39
Et iterum abiens oravit, eumdem sermonem dicens.
耶穌又去禱告,說的話還是與先前一樣,
Again he went away and prayed, saying the same words.
14:40
Et reversus, denuo invenit eos dormientes (erant enim oculi eorum gravati), et ignorabant quid responderent ei.
又來見他們睡着了,因為他們的眼睛甚是困倦;他們也不知道怎麼回答。
Again he returned and found them sleeping, for their eyes were very heavy; and they didn’t know what to answer him.
14:41
Et venit tertio, et ait illis : Dormite jam, et requiescite. Sufficit : venit hora : ecce Filius hominis tradetur in manus peccatorum.
第三次來,對他們說:「現在你們仍然睡覺安歇吧 !夠了,時候到了。看哪,人子被賣在罪人手裏了。
He came the third time and said to them, “Sleep on now, and take your rest. It is enough. The hour has come. Behold, the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
14:42
Surgite, eamus : ecce qui me tradet, prope est.
起來!我們走吧。看哪,那賣我的人近了! 」
Arise! Let’s get going. Behold, he who betrays me is at hand.”
14:43
Et, adhuc eo loquente, venit Judas Iscariotes unus de duodecim, et cum eo turba multa cum gladiis et lignis, a summis sacerdotibus, et scribis, et senioribus.
說話之間,忽然那十二個門徒裏的猶大來了,並有許多人帶着刀棒,從祭司長和文士並長老那裏與他同來。
Immediately, while he was still speaking, Judas, one of the twelve, came—and with him a multitude with swords and clubs, from the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders.
14:44
Dederat autem traditor ejus signum eis, dicens : Quemcumque osculatus fuero, ipse est, tenete eum, et ducite caute.
賣耶穌的人曾給他們一個暗號,說:「我與誰親嘴,誰就是他。你們把他拿住,牢牢靠靠地帶去。」
Now he who betrayed him had given them a sign, saying, “Whomever I will kiss, that is he. Seize him, and lead him away safely.”
14:45
Et cum venisset, statim accedens ad eum, ait : Ave Rabbi : et osculatus est eum.
猶大來了,隨即到耶穌跟前,說:「拉比」,便與他親嘴。
When he had come, immediately he came to him and said, “Rabbi! Rabbi!” and kissed him.
14:46
At illi manus injecerunt in eum, et tenuerunt eum.
他們就下手拿住他。
They laid their hands on him and seized him.
14:47
Unus autem quidam de circumstantibus educens gladium, percussit servum summi sacerdotis, et amputavit illi auriculam.
旁邊站着的人,有一個拔出刀來,將大祭司的僕人砍了一刀,削掉了他一個耳朵。
But a certain one of those who stood by drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.
14:48
Et respondens Jesus, ait illis : Tamquam ad latronem existis cum gladiis et lignis comprehendere me ?
耶穌對他們說:「你們帶着刀棒出來拿我,如同拿強盜嗎?
Jesus answered them, “Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to seize me?
14:49
quotidie eram apud vos in templo docens, et non me tenuistis. Sed ut impleantur Scripturae.
我天天教訓人,同你們在殿裏,你們並沒有拿我。但這事成就,為要應驗經上的話。」
I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and you didn’t arrest me. But this is so that the Scriptures might be fulfilled.”
14:50
Tunc discipuli ejus relinquentes eum, omnes fugerunt.
門徒都離開他,逃走了。
They all left him, and fled.
14:51
Adolescens autem quidam sequebatur eum amictus sindone super nudo : et tenuerunt eum.
有一個少年人,赤身披着一塊麻布,跟隨耶穌,眾人就捉拿他。
A certain young man followed him, having a linen cloth thrown around himself over his naked body. The young men grabbed him,
14:52
At ille rejecta sindone, nudus profugit ab eis.
他卻丟了麻布,赤身逃走了。
but he left the linen cloth and fled from them naked.
14:53
Et adduxerunt Jesum ad summum sacerdotem : et convenerunt omnes sacerdotes, et scribae, et seniores.
他們把耶穌帶到大祭司那裏,又有眾祭司長和長老並文士都來和大祭司一同聚集。
They led Jesus away to the high priest. All the chief priests, the elders, and the scribes came together with him.
14:54
Petrus autem a longe secutus est eum usque intro in atrium summi sacerdotis : et sedebat cum ministris ad ignem, et calefaciebat se.
彼得遠遠地跟着耶穌,一直進入大祭司的院裏,和差役一同坐在火光裏烤火。
Peter had followed him from a distance, until he came into the court of the high priest. He was sitting with the officers, and warming himself in the light of the fire.
14:55
Summi vero sacerdotes et omne concilium quaerebant adversus Jesum testimonium ut eum morti traderent : nec inveniebant.
祭司長和全公會尋找見證控告耶穌,要治死他,卻尋不着。
Now the chief priests and the whole council sought witnesses against Jesus to put him to death, and found none.
14:56
Multi enim testimonium falsum dicebant adversus eum : et convenientia testimonia non erant.
因為有好些人作假見證告他,只是他們的見證各不相合。
For many gave false testimony against him, and their testimony didn’t agree with each other.
14:57
Et quidam surgentes, falsum testimonium ferebant adversus eum, dicentes :
又有幾個人站起來作假見證告他,說:
Some stood up and gave false testimony against him, saying,
14:58
Quoniam nos audivimus eum dicentem : Ego dissolvam templum hoc manu factum, et per triduum aliud non manu factum aedificabo.
「我們聽見他說:『我要拆毀這人手所造的殿,三日內就另造一座不是人手所造的。』」
“We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another made without hands.’”
14:59
Et non erat conveniens testimonium illorum.
他們就是這麼作見證,也是各不相合。
Even so, their testimony didn’t agree.
14:60
Et exsurgens summus sacerdos in medium, interrogavit Jesum, dicens : Non respondes quidquam ad ea quae tibi objiciuntur ab his ?
大祭司起來站在中間,問耶穌說:「你甚麼都不回答嗎?這些人作見證告你的是甚麼呢?」
The high priest stood up in the middle, and asked Jesus, “Have you no answer? What is it which these testify against you?”
14:61
Ille autem tacebat, et nihil respondit. Rursum summus sacerdos interrogabat eum, et dixit ei : Tu es Christus Filius Dei benedicti ?
耶穌卻不言語,一句也不回答。大祭司又問他說:「你是那當稱頌者的兒子基督不是?」
But he stayed quiet, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?”
14:62
Jesus autem dixit illi : Ego sum : et videbitis Filium hominis sedentem a dextris virtutis Dei, et venientem cum nubibus caeli.
耶穌說:「我是。你們必看見人子坐在那權能者的右邊,駕着天上的雲降臨。」
Jesus said, “I am. You will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of the sky.”
14:63
Summus autem sacerdos scindens vestimenta sua, ait : Quid adhuc desideramus testes ?
大祭司就撕開衣服,說:「我們何必再用見證人呢?
The high priest tore his clothes and said, “What further need have we of witnesses?
14:64
Audistis blasphemiam : quid vobis videtur ? Qui omnes condemnaverunt eum esse reum mortis.
你們已經聽見他這僭妄的話了。你們的意見如何?」他們都定他該死的罪。
You have heard the blasphemy! What do you think?” They all condemned him to be worthy of death.
14:65
Et coeperunt quidam conspuere eum, et velare faciem ejus, et colaphis eum caedere, et dicere ei : Prophetiza : et ministri alapis eum caedebant.
就有人吐唾沫在他臉上,又蒙着他的臉,用拳頭打他,對他說:「你說預言吧!」差役接過他來,用手掌打他。
Some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to beat him with fists, and to tell him, “Prophesy!” The officers struck him with the palms of their hands.
14:66
Et cum esset Petrus in atrio deorsum, venit una ex ancillis summi sacerdotis :
彼得在下邊院子裏;來了大祭司的一個使女,
As Peter was in the courtyard below, one of the maids of the high priest came,
14:67
et cum vidisset Petrum calefacientem se, aspiciens illum, ait : Et tu cum Jesu Nazareno eras.
見彼得烤火,就看着他,說:「你素來也是同拿撒勒人耶穌一夥的。」
and seeing Peter warming himself, she looked at him and said, “You were also with the Nazarene, Jesus!”
14:68
At ille negavit, dicens : Neque scio, neque novi quid dicas. Et exiit foras ante atrium, et gallus cantavit.
彼得卻不承認,說:「我不知道,也不明白你說的是甚麼。」於是出來,到了前院, 雞就叫了。
But he denied it, saying, “I neither know nor understand what you are saying.” He went out on the porch, and the rooster crowed.
14:69
Rursus autem cum vidisset illum ancilla, coepit dicere circumstantibus : Quia hic ex illis est.
那使女看見他,又對旁邊站着的人說:「這也是他們一黨的。」
The maid saw him and began again to tell those who stood by, “This is one of them.”
14:70
At ille iterum negavit. Et post pusillum rursus qui astabant, dicebant Petro : Vere ex illis es : nam et Galilaeus es.
彼得又不承認。過了不多的時候,旁邊站着的人又對彼得說:「你真是他們一黨的!因為你是加利利人。」
But he again denied it. After a little while again those who stood by said to Peter, “You truly are one of them, for you are a Galilean, and your speech shows it.”
14:71
Ille autem coepit anathematizare et jurare : Quia nescio hominem istum, quem dicitis.
彼得就發咒起誓地說:「我不認得你們說的這個人。」
But he began to curse and to swear, “I don’t know this man of whom you speak!”
14:72
Et statim gallus iterum cantavit. Et recordatus est Petrus verbi quod dixerat ei Jesus : Priusquam gallus cantet bis, ter me negabis. Et coepit flere.
立時雞叫了第二遍。彼得想起耶穌對他所說的話:「雞叫兩遍以先,你要三次不認我。」思想起來,就哭了。
The rooster crowed the second time. Peter remembered the words that Jesus said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.” When he thought about that, he wept.
