The title of which in the ancient copies is: A copy of the Memorial concerning the name of Coelestius, presented in the Greek tongue by Mercator, not only to the Church of Constantinople, but also to very many most religious men; offered likewise to the most pious prince Theodosius, ever Augustus; the same being translated from the Greek into Latin by the same Marius Mercator, servant of Christ, in the consulship of Florentius and Dionysius, men of clarissimus rank.

By which Memorial, the most deadly error having been made known, by imperial decree both Julianus the defender and his follower, together with the rest of his associates and partakers, and afterward this same Coelestius, were expelled from the city of Constantinople; and at the Council of Ephesus too they were condemned by the sentence of two hundred and seventy-five bishops, and thereafter condemned in the present matter as well.
