1:2

αἱ γὰρ προσευχαὶ ὑμῶν ὡς στῦλος ἑδραῖός ἐστιν ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς, καὶ ὡς τεῖχος ἀδαμάντινον περικυκλοῦν αὐτήν.

因為你的禱告好像堅固的柱子立在城中，又像金剛石的牆環繞著它。

For your prayers are like a firm pillar in the midst of it, and like a wall of adamant encircling it.

1:3

νῦν οὖν ἀναστάντες ἐξέλθατε πρὸ τοῦ ἡ δύναμις τῶν Χαλδαίων κυκλώσει αὐτή.

如今你當起來出去，趁迦勒底人的軍隊還未圍困這城。

Now therefore arise and go out, before the host of the Chaldeans surrounds it.

1:4

καὶ ἀπεκρίθη Ἰερεμίας, λέγων· Παρακαλῶ σε, κύριε, ἐπίστρεψέν μοι τῷ δούλῳ σου λαλῆσαι ἐνώπιόν σου.

耶利米回答說：「主啊，我求你，容你的僕人在你面前說話。」

And Jeremiah answered, saying: I beseech you, Lord, permit me your servant to speak before you.

1:5

εἶπεν δὲ αὐτῷ ὁ κύριος· Λάλει, ὁ ἐκλεκτός μου Ἰερεμίας.

主對他說：「我所揀選的耶利米啊，你說罷。」

And the Lord said to him: Speak, my chosen one Jeremiah.

1:6

καὶ ἐλάλησεν Ἰερεμίας, λέγων· Κύριε παντοκράτωρ, παραδίδως τὴν πάλιν τὴν ἐκλεκτὴν εἰς χεῖρας τῶν Χαλδαίων, ἵνα καυχήσηται ὁ βασιλεὺς μετὰ τοῦ πλήθους τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ, καὶ εἴπῃ ὅτι, Ἴσχυσα ἐπὶ τὴν ἱερὰν πόλιν τοῦ θεοῦ;

耶利米就說：「全能的主啊，你要把這蒙揀選的城交在迦勒底人手中，使那王與他眾多的百姓誇口說：『我已勝過神的聖城』嗎？

And Jeremiah spoke, saying: O Lord Almighty, will you deliver the chosen city into the hands of the Chaldeans, that the king may boast with the multitude of his people, and say, I have prevailed against the holy city of God?

1:7

μή, κύριέ μου· ἀλλ᾽ εἰ θέλημά σού ἐστιν, ἐκ τῶν χειρῶν σου ἀφανισθήτω.

我主啊，不要如此；但若這是你的旨意，就讓它由你親手毀滅罷。」

Not so, my Lord; but if it is your will, let it be destroyed by your own hands.

1:8

καὶ εἶπε κύριος τῷ Ἰερεμίᾳ· Ἐπειδὴ σὺ ἐκλεκτός μου εἶ, ἀνάστα καὶ ἔξελθε ἐκ τῆς πόλεως ταύτης, σὺ καὶ Βαρούχ· ἐπειδὴ ἀπολῶ αὐτὴν διὰ τὸ πλῆθος τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν τῶν κατοικούντων ἐν αὐτῇ.

主對耶利米說：「你既是我所揀選的，就當起來，與巴錄一同出這城去；因為我要毀滅這城，是因住在其中之人罪惡甚多。

And the Lord said to Jeremiah: Since you are my chosen one, arise and go out of this city, you and Baruch; for I am about to destroy it because of the multitude of the sins of those who dwell in it.

1:9

οὔτε γὰρ ὁ βασιλεύς, οὔτε ἡ δύναμις αὐτοῦ, δυνήσεται εἰσελθεῖν εἰς αὐτήν, εἰ μὴ ἐγὼ πρῶτος ἀνοίξω τὰς πύλας αὐτῆς.

因為若不是我先開這城的門，那王和他的軍隊都不能進去。

For neither the king nor his army will be able to enter it, unless I myself first open its gates.

1:10

ἀνάστηθι οὖν, καὶ ἄπελθε πρὸς Βαρούχ, καὶ ἀπάγγειλον αὐτῷ τὰ ῥήματα ταῦτα.

所以你當起來，去見巴錄，把這些話告訴他。

Arise therefore, and go to Baruch, and report to him these words.

1:11

καὶ ἀναστάντες ἕκτην ὥραν τῆς νυκτός, ἔλθετε ἐπὶ τὰ τείχη τῆς πόλεως, καὶ δείξω ὑμῖν ὅτι ἐὰν μή τι ἐγὼ πρῶτος ἀφανίσω τὴν πόλιν, οὐ δύνανται εἰσελθεῖν εἰς αὐτήν.

夜間三更的時候，你們起來到城牆上，我必指示你們：若不是我先毀滅這城，他們就不能進去。」

And arising at the sixth hour of the night, come to the walls of the city, and I will show you that unless I myself first destroy the city, they cannot enter it.

1:12

ταῦτα εἰπὼν ὁ κύριος, ἀπῆλθεν ἀπὸ τοῦ Ἰερεμίου.

主說了這些話，就離開耶利米去了。

When the Lord had said these things, he departed from Jeremiah.
