33:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ בֶּן ־שְׁתֵּ֥ים עֶשְׂרֵ֛ה שָׁנָ֖ה מְנַשֶּׁ֣ה בְמׇלְכ֑וֹ וַחֲמִשִּׁ֤ים וְחָמֵשׁ֙ שָׁנָ֔ה מָלַ֖ךְ בִּירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם ׃
ὢν δέκα δύο ἐτῶν Μανασσης ἐν τῷ βασιλεῦσαι αὐτὸν καὶ πεντήκοντα πέντε ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ
Duodecim annorum erat Manasses cum regnare coepisset , et quinquaginta quinque annis regnavit in Jerusalem .
ወነግሠ ፡ ምናሴ ፡ ወልዱ ፡ እምድኅሬሁ ፡ ከዊኖ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ዓሠርቱ ፡ ወክልቱ ፡ ዓመት ፡ አመ ፡ ያነግሥዎ ፡ ወኃምሳ ፡ ወኃምስተ ፡ ዓመት ፡ ነግሠ ፡ በኢየሩሳሌም ።
Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem.
33:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיַּ֥עַשׂ הָרַ֖ע בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה כְּתֽוֹעֲבוֹת֙ הַגּוֹיִ֔ם אֲשֶׁר֙ הוֹרִ֣ישׁ יְהֹוָ֔ה מִפְּנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ πονηρὸν ἐναντίον κυρίου ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν βδελυγμάτων τῶν ἐθνῶν οὓς ἐξωλέθρευσεν κύριος ἀπὸ προσώπου τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ
Fecit autem malum coram Domino , juxta abominationes gentium quas subvertit Dominus coram filiis Israël :
ወገብረ ፡ እኪተ ፡ በቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ርኵሶሙ ፡ ለአሕዛብ ፡ እለ ፡ ሠረዎሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እምቅድመ ፡ ገጾሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ።
He did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight, after the abominations of the nations whom Yahweh cast out before the children of Israel.
33:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיָּ֗שׇׁב וַיִּ֙בֶן֙ אֶת ־הַבָּמ֔וֹת אֲשֶׁ֥ר נִתַּ֖ץ יְחִזְקִיָּ֣הוּ אָבִ֑יו וַיָּ֨קֶם מִזְבְּח֤וֹת לַבְּעָלִים֙ וַיַּ֣עַשׂ אֲשֵׁר֔וֹת וַיִּשְׁתַּ֙חוּ֙ לְכׇל ־צְבָ֣א הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם וַֽיַּעֲבֹ֖ד אֹתָֽם ׃
καὶ ἐπέστρεψεν καὶ ᾠκοδόμησεν τὰ ὑψηλά ἃ κατέσπασεν Εζεκιας ὁ πατὴρ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἔστησεν στήλας ταῖς Βααλιμ καὶ ἐποίησεν ἄλση καὶ προσεκύνησεν πάσῃ τῇ στρατιᾷ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ ἐδούλευσεν αὐτοῖς
et conversus instauravit excelsa quae demolitus fuerat Ezechias pater ejus : construxitque aras Baalim , et fecit lucos , et adoravit omnem militiam caeli , et coluit eam .
ወተመይጠ ፡ ወሐነፀ ፡ አህጉረ ፡ ዘነሠተ ፡ ሕዝቅያስ ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ወአቀመ ፡ አምሳለ ፡ ለበዓሊም ፡ ወገብረ ፡ አእዋመ ፡ ወሰገደ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ኃይለ ፡ ሰማይ ፡ ወተቀንየ ፡ ሎሙ ።
For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down; and he raised up altars for the Baals, made Asheroth, and worshiped all the army of the sky, and served them.
33:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבָנָ֥ה מִזְבְּח֖וֹת בְּבֵ֣ית יְהֹוָ֑ה אֲשֶׁר֙ אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֔ה בִּירוּשָׁלַ֥͏ִם יִֽהְיֶה ־שְּׁמִ֖י לְעוֹלָֽם ׃
καὶ ᾠκοδόμησεν θυσιαστήρια ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου οὗ εἶπεν κύριος ἐν Ιερουσαλημ ἔσται τὸ ὄνομά μου εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα
Aedificavit quoque altaria in domo Domini , de qua dixerat Dominus : In Jerusalem erit nomen meum in aeternum .
ወአሕነፀ ፡ ምሥዋዐ ፡ ጣዖት ፡ በቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በኀበ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በኢየሩሳሌም ፡ ይኩን ፡ ስምየ ፡ ለዓለም ።
He built altars in Yahweh’s house, of which Yahweh said, “My name shall be in Jerusalem forever.”
33:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּ֥בֶן מִזְבְּח֖וֹת לְכׇל ־צְבָ֣א הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם בִּשְׁתֵּ֖י חַצְר֥וֹת בֵּית ־יְהֹוָֽה ׃
καὶ ᾠκοδόμησεν θυσιαστήρια πάσῃ τῇ στρατιᾷ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἐν ταῖς δυσὶν αὐλαῖς οἴκου κυρίου
Aedificavit autem ea cuncto exercitui caeli in duobus atriis domus Domini .
ወአሕነፀ ፡ ምሥዋዐ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ኃይለ ፡ ሰማይ ፡ በክልኤሆ ፡ አዕፃዳተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
He built altars for all the army of the sky in the two courts of Yahweh’s house.
33:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהוּא֩ הֶעֱבִ֨יר אֶת ־בָּנָ֤יו בָּאֵשׁ֙ בְּגֵ֣י בֶן ־הִנֹּ֔ם וְעוֹנֵ֤ן וְנִחֵשׁ֙ וְֽכִשֵּׁ֔ף וְעָ֥שָׂה א֖וֹב וְיִדְּעוֹנִ֑י הִרְבָּ֗ה לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת הָרַ֛ע בְּעֵינֵ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה לְהַכְעִיסֽוֹ ׃
καὶ αὐτὸς διήγαγεν τὰ τέκνα αὐτοῦ ἐν πυρὶ ἐν Γαι‐βαναι‐εννομ καὶ ἐκληδονίζετο καὶ οἰωνίζετο καὶ ἐφαρμακεύετο καὶ ἐποίησεν ἐγγαστριμύθους καὶ ἐπαοιδούς ἐπλήθυνεν τοῦ ποιῆσαι τὸ πονηρὸν ἐναντίον κυρίου τοῦ παροργίσαι αὐτόν
Transireque fecit filios suos per ignem in valle Benennom : observabat somnia , sectabatur auguria , maleficis artibus inserviebat , habebat secum magos et incantatores , multaque mala operatus est coram Domino ut irritaret eum .
ወውእቱኒ ፡ አውዓየ ፡ ደቂቆ ፡ ለጣዖት ፡ በምድረ ፡ ሐኖ ፡ ወይ ፡ ገብር ፡ ግብረ ፡ ሥራይ ፡ ወዘማርያት ፡ ያጣዕዉ ፡ በከርሥ ፡ ወገብረ ፡ መስተቃስማነ ፡ ወአብዝኀ ፡ ገቢረ ፡ እኪተ ፡ በቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ከመ ፡ ያምዕዖ ።
He also made his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom. He practiced sorcery, divination, and witchcraft, and dealt with those who had familiar spirits and with wizards. He did much evil in Yahweh’s sight, to provoke him to anger.
33:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיָּ֕שֶׂם אֶת ־פֶּ֥סֶל הַסֶּ֖מֶל אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָׂ֑ה בְּבֵ֣ית הָאֱלֹהִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר אָמַ֤ר אֱלֹהִים֙ אֶל ־דָּוִיד֙ וְאֶל ־שְׁלֹמֹ֣ה בְנ֔וֹ בַּבַּ֨יִת הַזֶּ֜ה וּבִירוּשָׁלַ֗͏ִם אֲשֶׁ֤ר בָּחַ֙רְתִּי֙ מִכֹּל֙ שִׁבְטֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אָשִׂ֥ים אֶת ־שְׁמִ֖י לְעֵילֽוֹם ׃
καὶ ἔθηκεν τὸ γλυπτὸν καὶ τὸ χωνευτόν εἰκόνα ἣν ἐποίησεν ἐν οἴκῳ θεοῦ οὗ εἶπεν ὁ θεὸς πρὸς Δαυιδ καὶ πρὸς Σαλωμων υἱὸν αὐτοῦ ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τούτῳ καὶ Ιερουσαλημ ἣν ἐξελεξάμην ἐκ πασῶν φυλῶν Ισραηλ θήσω τὸ ὄνομά μου εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα
Sculptile quoque et conflatile signum posuit in domo Dei , de qua locutus est Deus ad David , et ad Salomonem filium ejus , dicens : In domo hac , et in Jerusalem quam elegi de cunctis tribubus Israël , ponam nomen meum in sempiternum .
ወአንበረ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ዘግልፎ ፡ ወስብኮ ፡ በቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በኀበ ፡ ይቤሎሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለዳዊት ፡ ወለሰሎሞን ፡ ወልዱ ፡ በዝንቱ ፡ ቤት ፡ ወበኢየሩሳሌም ፡ ዘኃረይኩ ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ ነገደ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እሢም ፡ ስምየ ፡ ውስቴቱ ፡ ለዓለም ።
He set the engraved image of the idol, which he had made, in God’s house, of which God said to David and to Solomon his son, “In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my name forever.
33:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְלֹ֣א אֹסִ֗יף לְהָסִיר֙ אֶת ־רֶ֣גֶל יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מֵעַל֙ הָֽאֲדָמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֶעֱמַ֖דְתִּי לַאֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֑ם רַ֣ק ׀ אִם ־יִשְׁמְר֣וּ לַעֲשׂ֗וֹת אֵ֚ת כׇּל ־אֲשֶׁ֣ר צִוִּיתִ֔ים לְכׇל ־הַתּוֹרָ֛ה וְהַחֻקִּ֥ים וְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִ֖ים בְּיַד ־מֹשֶֽׁה ׃
καὶ οὐ προσθήσω σαλεῦσαι τὸν πόδα Ισραηλ ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς ἧς ἔδωκα τοῖς πατράσιν αὐτῶν πλὴν ἐὰν φυλάσσωνται τοῦ ποιῆσαι πάντα ἃ ἐνετειλάμην αὐτοῖς κατὰ πάντα τὸν νόμον καὶ τὰ προστάγματα καὶ τὰ κρίματα ἐν χειρὶ Μωυσῆ
Et moveri non faciam pedem Israël de terra quam tradidi patribus eorum : ita dumtaxat si custodierint facere quae praecepi eis , cunctamque legem , et caeremonias atque judicia , per manum Moysi .
ወኢይደግም ፡ እንከ ፡ አሰስሎተ ፡ እግረ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እምዛቲ ፡ ምድር ፡ እንተ ፡ ወሀብክዎሙ ፡ ለአበዊሆሙ ፡ ወባሕቱ ፡ እመሰ ፡ አቀቡ ፡ ወገብሩ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዘአዘዝክዎሙ ፡ በከመ ፡ ጽሑፍ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ሕግየ ፡ ወትእዛዝየ ፡ ወኵነኔ ፡ ዚአየ ፡ በእዴሁ ፡ ለሙሴ ።
I will not any more remove the foot of Israel from off the land which I have appointed for your fathers, if only they will observe to do all that I have commanded them, even all the law, the statutes, and the ordinances given by Moses.”
33:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֶּ֣תַע מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה אֶת ־יְהוּדָ֖ה וְיֹשְׁבֵ֣י יְרוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת רָ֔ע מִ֨ן ־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם אֲשֶׁר֙ הִשְׁמִ֣יד יְהֹוָ֔ה מִפְּנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃ {פ}
καὶ ἐπλάνησεν Μανασσης τὸν Ιουδαν καὶ τοὺς κατοικοῦντας ἐν Ιερουσαλημ τοῦ ποιῆσαι τὸ πονηρὸν ὑπὲρ πάντα τὰ ἔθνη ἃ ἐξῆρεν κύριος ἀπὸ προσώπου υἱῶν Ισραηλ
Igitur Manasses seduxit Judam , et habitatores Jerusalem , ut facerent malum super omnes gentes quas subverterat Dominus a facie filiorum Israël .
ወአስሐቶሙ ፡ ምናሴ ፡ ለሕዝበ ፡ ይሁዳ ፡ ወለኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም ፡ ከመ ፡ ይግበሩ ፡ ፈድፋደ ፡ እኪተ ፡ እምኵሎሙ ፡ አሕዛበ ፡ ምድር ፡ እለ ፡ ሠረዎሙ ፡ እግዚአበረሔር ፡ እምቅድመ ፡ ገጾሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ።
Manasseh seduced Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that they did more evil than did the nations whom Yahweh destroyed before the children of Israel.
33:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֧ר יְהֹוָ֛ה אֶל ־מְנַשֶּׁ֥ה וְאֶל ־עַמּ֖וֹ וְלֹ֥א הִקְשִֽׁיבוּ ׃
καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος ἐπὶ Μανασση καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ οὐκ ἐπήκουσαν
Locutusque est Dominus ad eum , et ad populum illius , et attendere noluerunt .
ወተናገሮ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለምናሴ ፡ ወለሕዝበ ፡ ዚአሁ ፡ ወኢያጽምዕዎ ።
Yahweh spoke to Manasseh and to his people, but they didn’t listen.
33:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיָּבֵ֨א יְהֹוָ֜ה עֲלֵיהֶ֗ם אֶת ־שָׂרֵ֤י הַצָּבָא֙ אֲשֶׁר֙ לְמֶ֣לֶךְ אַשּׁ֔וּר וַיִּלְכְּד֥וּ אֶת ־מְנַשֶּׁ֖ה בַּחֹחִ֑ים וַיַּאַסְרֻ֙הוּ֙ בַּֽנְחֻשְׁתַּ֔יִם וַיּוֹלִיכֻ֖הוּ בָּבֶֽלָה ׃
καὶ ἤγαγεν κύριος ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς τοὺς ἄρχοντας τῆς δυνάμεως βασιλέως Ασσουρ καὶ κατέλαβον τὸν Μανασση ἐν δεσμοῖς καὶ ἔδησαν αὐτὸν ἐν πέδαις καὶ ἤγαγον εἰς Βαβυλῶνα
Idcirco superinduxit eis principes exercitus regis Assyriorum : ceperuntque Manassen , et vinctum catenis atque compedibus duxerunt in Babylonem .
ወአምጽአ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ላዕሌሁ ፡ መላእክተ ፡ ኃይሉ ፡ ለንጉሠ ፡ አሶራውያን ፡ ወአኃዝዎ ፡ ለምናሴ ፡ ወሞቅሕዎ ፡ በመዋቅሕተ ፡ ሐፂን ፡ ወነሥእዎ ፡ ብሔረ ፡ ባቢሎን ።
Therefore Yahweh brought on them the captains of the army of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh in chains, bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.
33:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּכְהָצֵ֣ר ל֔וֹ חִלָּ֕ה אֶת ־פְּנֵ֖י יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהָ֑יו וַיִּכָּנַ֣ע מְאֹ֔ד מִלִּפְנֵ֖י אֱלֹהֵ֥י אֲבֹתָֽיו ׃
καὶ ὡς ἐθλίβη ἐζήτησεν τὸ πρόσωπον κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐταπεινώθη σφόδρα ἀπὸ προσώπου θεοῦ τῶν πατέρων αὐτοῦ
Qui postquam coangustatus est , oravit Dominum Deum suum : et egit poenitentiam valde coram Deo patrum suorum .
ወሶበ ፡ ተመንደበ ፡ ኃሠሠ ፡ ገጸ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላኩ ፡ ወኃሥረ ፡ ፈድፋደ ፡ በቅድመ ፡ ገጸ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላከ ፡ አበዊሁ ።
When he was in distress, he begged Yahweh his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers.
33:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּתְפַּלֵּ֣ל אֵלָ֗יו וַיֵּעָ֤תֶר לוֹ֙ וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע תְּחִנָּת֔וֹ וַיְשִׁיבֵ֥הוּ יְרוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם לְמַלְכוּת֑וֹ וַיֵּ֣דַע מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה כִּ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה ה֥וּא הָאֱלֹהִֽים ׃
καὶ προσηύξατο πρὸς αὐτόν καὶ ἐπήκουσεν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπήκουσεν τῆς βοῆς αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπέστρεψεν αὐτὸν εἰς Ιερουσαλημ ἐπὶ τὴν βασιλείαν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἔγνω Μανασσης ὅτι κύριος αὐτός ἐστιν ὁ θεός
Deprecatusque est eum , et obsecravit intente : et exaudivit orationem ejus , reduxitque eum Jerusalem in regnum suum , et cognovit Manasses quod Dominus ipse esset Deus .
ወጸለየ ፡ ምናሴ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ሕዝቅያስ ፡ ንጉሥ ፡ ወይቤ ፡ ከመዝ ።
He prayed to him; and he was entreated by him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that Yahweh was God.
33:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאַחֲרֵי ־כֵ֡ן בָּנָ֣ה חוֹמָ֣ה חִיצוֹנָ֣ה ׀לְעִיר ־דָּוִ֡יד מַעְרָ֩בָה֩ לְגִיח֨וֹן בַּנַּ֜חַל וְלָב֨וֹא בְשַׁ֤עַר הַדָּגִים֙ וְסָבַ֣ב לָעֹ֔פֶל וַיַּגְבִּיהֶ֖הָ מְאֹ֑ד וַיָּ֧שֶׂם שָׂרֵי ־חַ֛יִל בְּכׇל ־הֶעָרִ֥ים הַבְּצֻר֖וֹת בִּיהוּדָֽה ׃
καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα ᾠκοδόμησεν τεῖχος ἔξω τῆς πόλεως Δαυιδ ἀπὸ λιβὸς κατὰ Γιων ἐν τῷ χειμάρρῳ καὶ ἐκπορευομένων τὴν πύλην τὴν κυκλόθεν καὶ εἰς τὸ Οφλα καὶ ὕψωσεν σφόδρα καὶ κατέστησεν ἄρχοντας τῆς δυνάμεως ἐν πάσαις ταῖς πόλεσιν ταῖς τειχήρεσιν ἐν Ιουδα
Post haec aedificavit murum extra civitatem David ad occidentem Gihon in convalle , ab introitu portae piscium per circuitum usque ad Ophel , et exaltavit illum vehementer : constituitque principes exercitus in cunctis civitatibus Juda munitis :
እግዚኦ ፡ አኃዜ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዓለም ፡ አምላኮሙ ፡ ለአበዊነ ፡ ለአብርሃም ፡ ወለይስሕቅ ፡ ወለያዕቆብ ፡ ወለኵሉ ፡ ፍሬሆሙ ፡ ለጻድቃን ።
Now after this, he built an outer wall to David’s city on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entrance at the fish gate. He encircled Ophel with it, and raised it up to a very great height; and he put valiant captains in all the fortified cities of Judah.
33:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַ֠יָּ֠סַר אֶת ־אֱלֹהֵ֨י הַנֵּכָ֤ר וְאֶת ־הַסֶּ֙מֶל֙ מִבֵּ֣ית יְהֹוָ֔ה וְכׇל ־הַֽמִּזְבְּח֗וֹת אֲשֶׁ֥ר בָּנָ֛ה בְּהַ֥ר בֵּית ־יְהֹוָ֖ה וּבִירוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם וַיַּשְׁלֵ֖ךְ ח֥וּצָה לָעִֽיר ׃
καὶ περιεῖλεν τοὺς θεοὺς τοὺς ἀλλοτρίους καὶ τὸ γλυπτὸν ἐξ οἴκου κυρίου καὶ πάντα τὰ θυσιαστήρια ἃ ᾠκοδόμησεν ἐν ὄρει οἴκου κυρίου καὶ ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἔξω τῆς πόλεως
et abstulit deos alienos , et simulacrum de domo Domini : aras quoque , quas fecerat in monte domus Domini et in Jerusalem : et projecit omnia extra urbem .
ዘገበርከ ፡ ሰማየ ፡ ወምድረ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዓለሞሙ ።
He took away the foreign gods and the idol out of Yahweh’s house, and all the altars that he had built in the mountain of Yahweh’s house and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city.
33:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ (ויכן ) [וַיִּ֙בֶן֙ ] אֶת ־מִזְבַּ֣ח יְהֹוָ֔ה וַיִּזְבַּ֣ח עָלָ֔יו זִבְחֵ֥י שְׁלָמִ֖ים וְתוֹדָ֑ה וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ לִיהוּדָ֔ה לַעֲב֕וֹד אֶת ־יְהֹוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ κατώρθωσεν τὸ θυσιαστήριον κυρίου καὶ ἐθυσίασεν ἐπ’ αὐτὸ θυσίαν σωτηρίου καὶ αἰνέσεως καὶ εἶπεν τῷ Ιουδα τοῦ δουλεύειν κυρίῳ θεῷ Ισραηλ
Porro instauravit altare Domini , et immolavit super illud victimas , et pacifica , et laudem : praecepitque Judae ut serviret Domino Deo Israël .
ዘገሠፅካ ፡ ለባሕር ፡ በቃለ ፡ ትእዛዝከ ፡ ዘዐፀውከ ፡ ቀላያተ ፡ ወኃተምከ ፡ ግሩመ ፡ ውእቱኒ ፡ በስቡሕ ፡ ስምከ ።
He built up Yahweh’s altar, and offered sacrifices of peace offerings and of thanksgiving on it, and commanded Judah to serve Yahweh, the God of Israel.
33:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֲבָל֙ ע֣וֹד הָעָ֔ם זֹבְחִ֖ים בַּבָּמ֑וֹת רַ֖ק לַיהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם ׃
πλὴν ὁ λαὸς ἔτι ἐπὶ τῶν ὑψηλῶν πλὴν κύριος ὁ θεὸς αὐτῶν
Attamen adhuc populus immolabat in excelsis Domino Deo suo .
ዘኵሉ ፡ ይርዕድ ፡ ወያድለቀልቅ ፡ እምገጸ ፡ ኃይልከ ።
Nevertheless the people still sacrificed in the high places, but only to Yahweh their God.
33:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְיֶ֨תֶר דִּבְרֵ֣י מְנַשֶּׁה֮ וּתְפִלָּת֣וֹ אֶל ־אֱלֹהָיו֒ וְדִבְרֵי֙ הַחֹזִ֔ים הַֽמְדַבְּרִ֣ים אֵלָ֔יו בְּשֵׁ֥ם יְהֹוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל הִנָּ֕ם עַל ־דִּבְרֵ֖י מַלְכֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ τὰ λοιπὰ τῶν λόγων Μανασση καὶ ἡ προσευχὴ αὐτοῦ ἡ πρὸς τὸν θεὸν καὶ λόγοι τῶν ὁρώντων λαλούντων πρὸς αὐτὸν ἐπ’ ὀνόματι κυρίου θεοῦ Ισραηλ ἰδοὺ ἐπὶ λόγων
Reliqua autem gestorum Manasse , et obsecratio ejus ad Deum suum , verba quoque videntium qui loquebantur ad eum in nomine Domini Dei Israël , continentur in sermonibus regum Israël .
እስመ ፡ አልቦ ፡ ጽንፍ ፡ ለዕበየ ፡ ስብሐቲከ ፡ ግሩም ፡ መቅሠፍተ ፡ መዓትከ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ኃጥአን ።
Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer to his God, and the words of the seers who spoke to him in the name of Yahweh, the God of Israel, behold, they are written among the acts of the kings of Israel.
33:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּתְפִלָּת֣וֹ וְהֵעָתֶר ־לוֹ֮ וְכׇל ־חַטָּאת֣וֹ וּמַעְלוֹ֒ וְהַמְּקֹמ֗וֹת אֲשֶׁר֩ בָּנָ֨ה בָהֶ֤ם בָּמוֹת֙ וְהֶֽעֱמִיד֙ הָאֲשֵׁרִ֣ים וְהַפְּסִלִ֔ים לִפְנֵ֖י הִכָּֽנְע֑וֹ הִנָּ֣ם כְּתוּבִ֔ים עַ֖ל דִּבְרֵ֥י חוֹזָֽי ׃
προσευχῆς αὐτοῦ καὶ ὡς ἐπήκουσεν αὐτοῦ καὶ πᾶσαι αἱ ἁμαρτίαι αὐτοῦ καὶ αἱ ἀποστάσεις αὐτοῦ καὶ οἱ τόποι ἐφ’ οἷς ᾠκοδόμησεν τὰ ὑψηλὰ καὶ ἔστησεν ἐκεῖ ἄλση καὶ γλυπτὰ πρὸ τοῦ ἐπιστρέψαι ἰδοὺ γέγραπται ἐπὶ τῶν λόγων τῶν ὁρώντων
Oratio quoque ejus et exauditio , et cuncta peccata atque contemptus , loca etiam in quibus aedificavit excelsa , et fecit lucos et statuas antequam ageret poenitentiam , scripta sunt in sermonibus Hozai .
አልቦ ፡ ኍልቊ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ መስፈርት ፡ ለሣህለ ፡ ትእዛዝከ ፡ እስመ ፡ አንተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ባሕቲትከ ፡ ልዑል ፡ መሐሪ ፡ ርኁቀ ፡ መዓት ፡ ወብዙኀ ፡ ሣህል ፡ ወመስተመይጥ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ጌጋዮሙ ፡ ለእጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ።
His prayer also, and how God listened to his request, and all his sin and his trespass, and the places in which he built high places and set up the Asherah poles and the engraved images before he humbled himself: behold, they are written in the history of Hozai.
33:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּשְׁכַּ֤ב מְנַשֶּׁה֙ עִם ־אֲבֹתָ֔יו וַֽיִּקְבְּרֻ֖הוּ בֵּית֑וֹ וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ אָמ֥וֹן בְּנ֖וֹ תַּחְתָּֽיו ׃ {פ}
καὶ ἐκοιμήθη Μανασσης μετὰ τῶν πατέρων αὐτοῦ καὶ ἔθαψαν αὐτὸν ἐν παραδείσῳ οἴκου αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντ’ αὐτοῦ Αμων υἱὸς αὐτοῦ
Dormivit ergo Manasses cum patribus suis , et sepelierunt eum in domo sua : regnavitque pro eo filius ejus Amon .
ይእዜኒ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ አምላኮሙ ፡ ለጻድቃን ፡ እስመ ፡ አኮ ፡ ለጻድቅ ፡ ዘገበርኮ ፡ ለንስሓ ፡ አኮ ፡ ለአብርሃም ፡ ወለይስሐቅ ፡ ወለያዕቆብ ፡ እለ ፡ ኢአበሱ ፡ ለከ ፡ አላ ፡ ተመየጥ ፡ ንስሐ ፡ ዚአየ ፡ ለኃጥእ ።
So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his own house; and Amon his son reigned in his place.
33:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ בֶּן ־עֶשְׂרִ֥ים וּשְׁתַּ֛יִם שָׁנָ֖ה אָמ֣וֹן בְּמׇלְכ֑וֹ וּשְׁתַּ֣יִם שָׁנִ֔ים מָלַ֖ךְ בִּירֽוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם ׃
ὢν εἴκοσι καὶ δύο ἐτῶν Αμων ἐν τῷ βασιλεύειν αὐτὸν καὶ δύο ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ
Viginti duorum annorum erat Amon cum regnare coepisset , et duobus annis regnavit in Jerusalem .
እስመ ፡ አበስኩ ፡ እምኍልቈ ፡ ኆፃ ፡ ባሕር ፡ ወብዙኅ ፡ ኃጢአትየ ፡ አኮ ፡ ድልወት ፡ ሊተ ፡ አንቃዕዱ ፡ ወእርአይ ፡ ኑኆ ፡ ለሰማይ ፡ እምብዝኀ ፡ ጌጋይየ ፡ ሠራሕኩ ፡ በመዋቅሕተ ፡ ሐፂን ፡ ከመ ፡ እስሐታ ፡ ለነፍስየ ፡ እምኃጢአትየ ፡ ወበዝየኒ ፡ ኢተስሕትኩ ።
Amon was twenty-two years old when he began to reign; and he reigned two years in Jerusalem.
33:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיַּ֤עַשׂ הָרַע֙ בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָׂ֖ה מְנַשֶּׁ֣ה אָבִ֑יו וּלְכׇל ־הַפְּסִילִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר עָשָׂה֙ מְנַשֶּׁ֣ה אָבִ֔יו זִבַּ֥ח אָמ֖וֹן וַיַּעַבְדֵֽם ׃
καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ πονηρὸν ἐνώπιον κυρίου ὡς ἐποίησεν Μανασσης ὁ πατὴρ αὐτοῦ καὶ πᾶσιν τοῖς εἰδώλοις οἷς ἐποίησεν Μανασσης ὁ πατὴρ αὐτοῦ ἔθυεν Αμων καὶ ἐδούλευσεν αὐτοῖς
Fecitque malum in conspectu Domini , sicut fecerat Manasses pater ejus : et cunctis idolis quae Manasses fuerat fabricatus , immolavit atque servivit .
እስመ ፡ ወሀኩ ፡ መዓተከ ፡ ወእኩየኒ ፡ በቅድሜከ ፡ ገበርኩ ፡ እንዘ ፡ አዐቅብ ፡ ከንቶ ፡ ወአበዝኅ ፡ ዘኢይበቊዓኒ ።
He did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight, as did Manasseh his father; and Amon sacrificed to all the engraved images which Manasseh his father had made, and served them.
33:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְלֹ֤א נִכְנַע֙ מִלִּפְנֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה כְּהִכָּנַ֖ע מְנַשֶּׁ֣ה אָבִ֑יו כִּ֛י ה֥וּא אָמ֖וֹן הִרְבָּ֥ה אַשְׁמָֽה ׃
καὶ οὐκ ἐταπεινώθη ἐναντίον κυρίου ὡς ἐταπεινώθη Μανασσης ὁ πατὴρ αὐτοῦ ὅτι υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Αμων ἐπλήθυνεν πλημμέλειαν
Et non est reveritus faciem Domini , sicut reveritus est Manasses pater ejus , et multo majora deliquit .
ወይእዜኒ ፡ እሰግድ ፡ በብረከ ፡ ልብየ ፡ እንዘ ፡ እስእል ፡ ምሕረተ ፡ ዚአከ ።
He didn’t humble himself before Yahweh, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but this same Amon trespassed more and more.
33:24 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּקְשְׁר֤וּ עָלָיו֙ עֲבָדָ֔יו וַיְמִיתֻ֖הוּ בְּבֵיתֽוֹ ׃
καὶ ἐπέθεντο αὐτῷ οἱ παῖδες αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπάταξαν αὐτὸν ἐν οἴκῳ αὐτοῦ
Cumque conjurassent adversus eum servi sui , interfecerunt eum in domo sua .
አበስኩ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ አበስኩ ፡ ወኃጢአትየኒ ፡ እትአመን ።
His servants conspired against him, and put him to death in his own house.
33:25 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיַּכּוּ֙ עַם ־הָאָ֔רֶץ אֵ֥ת כׇּל ־הַקֹּשְׁרִ֖ים עַל ־הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ אָמ֑וֹן וַיַּמְלִ֧יכוּ עַם ־הָאָ֛רֶץ אֶת ־יֹאשִׁיָּ֥הוּ בְנ֖וֹ תַּחְתָּֽיו ׃ {פ}
καὶ ἐπάταξεν ὁ λαὸς τῆς γῆς τοὺς ἐπιθεμένους ἐπὶ τὸν βασιλέα Αμων καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ὁ λαὸς τῆς γῆς τὸν Ιωσιαν υἱὸν αὐτοῦ ἀντ’ αὐτοῦ
Porro reliqua populi multitudo , caesis iis qui Amon percusserant , constituit regem Josiam filium ejus pro eo .
እትመሀለል ፡ ወእስእለከ ፡ ተሣሃለኒ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ተሣሃለኒ ፡ ወኢትመጥወኒ ፡ ለኃጢአትየ ።

33:26 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — — ወለዓለምሰ ፡ ኢትዕቀብ ፡ ሊተ ፡ እከይየ ፡ ወኢትትበቀለኒ ፡ በማዕምቅቲሃ ፡ ለምድር ፡ እስመ ፡ አንተ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ አምላኮሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይኔስሑ ፡ ያስተርኢ ፡ ኂሩትከ ፡ በላዕሌየ ፡ ከመ ፡ እንዘ ፡ አኮ ፡ ድልወት ፡ ሊተ ፡ አድኃንከኒ ፡ በብዝኀ ፡ ሣህልከ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ጊዜ ፡ ወበኵሉ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ ሕይወትየ ።

33:28 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — — ወሶበ ፡ ርእየ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ከመ ፡ ነስሐ ፡ ምናሴ ፡ እምእከየ ፡ ምግባሩ ፡ ዘገብረ ፡ በኢያእምሮቱ ፡ አናሕሰየ ፡ ሎቱ ።

33:29 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — — ወሰምዐ ፡ ጸሎቶ ፡ ወተሠጥወ ፡ ቃለ ፡ ስእለቱ ፡ ወሜጠ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም ፡ በከመ ፡ ሀሎ ፡ ቀዲሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ መንግሥቱ ፡ ወአእመረ ፡ ምናሴ ፡ ከመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ውእቱ ፡ አምላኩ ፡ ወተፈሥሐ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እስመ ፡ ነስሐ ፡ ምናሴ ።

33:30 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — — ወእምድኅረ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ አሕነፀ ፡ አረፍተ ፡ እምሀገረ ፡ ዳዊት ፡ አፍአ ፡ መንገለ ፡ ሰሜን ፡ እስከ ፡ ደቡበ ፡ ፈለግ ፡ ወአንኀ ፡ ዓውደ ፡ አንቀጽ ፡ እስከ ፡ መካን ፡ ዘይብልዋ ፡ በነገረ ፡ ዕብራይስጥ ፡ አፍላ ፡ ወአልዓለ ፡ ፈድፋደ ፡ ወሤመ ፡ መላእክተ ፡ ኃይል ፡ በኵሉ ፡ አህጉረ ፡ ጸወናት ፡ ዘይሁዳ ።

33:31 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — — ወአውጽአ ፡ አማልክተ ፡ ነኪር ፡ ወግልፎ ፡ እምቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ ምሥዋዐ ፡ ዘሐነፀ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በኢየሩሳሌም ፡ ወአፍኣ ፡ እምሀገር ።

33:32 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — — ወአስተሣነየ ፡ ቤተ ፡ ለምሥዋዐ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወሦዐ ፡ ላዕሌሁ ፡ መሥዋዕተ ፡ መድኀኒተ ፡ ወስብሐት ፡ ወይቤ ፡ ለሕዝበ ፡ ይዳ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይትቀነዩ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላከ ፡ እስራኤል ።

33:33 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — — ወባሕቱ ፡ ሕዝብሰ ፡ ዓዲሆሙ ፡ መልዕልተ ፡ አውግር ፡ ይሠውዑ ፡ ርኁቃን ፡ ፈድፋደ ፡ እምእግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላኮሙ ።

33:34 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — — ወእለ ፡ ተርፉ ፡ ቃላተ ፡ ምናሴ ፡ ወጸሎቱ ፡ እንተ ፡ ኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወቃላተ ፡ ነቢያት ፡ እለ ፡ ተናገርዎ ፡ በስመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላከ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ነዮሙ ፡ ጽሑፋት ፡ ዲበ ፡ ቃላተ ፡ ጸሎተ ፡ ዚአሁ ።

33:35 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — — ወበከመ ፡ ሰምዖ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ጸሎቶ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ አበሳሁ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ምግባሩ ፡ ወመካናት ፡ እለ ፡ ቦሙ ፡ ሐነፀ ፡ አውግረ ፡ ወአቀመ ፡ በህየ ፡ አእዋመ ፡ ወግልፎ ፡ ዘእንበለ ፡ ይትመየጥ ፡ ኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ናሁ ፡ ጽሑፍ ፡ በቃለ ፡ ነቢያት ።

33:37 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — — ወከዊኖ ፡ አሞፅ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ዕሥራ ፡ ወክልኤቱ ፡ ዓመት ፡ አመ ፡ ያነግሥዎ ፡ ወክልኤተ ፡ ዓመተ ፡ ነግሠ ፡ በኢየሩሳሌም ።

33:38 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — — ወገብረ ፡ እኪተ ፡ በቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በከመ ፡ ገብረ ፡ ምናሴ ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ወለኵሉ ፡ አምሳል ፡ ዘገብረ ፡ ምናሴ ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ሦዐ ፡ አሞፅ ፡ ወተቀንየ ፡ ሎሙ ።
