83:0 ⧉ ⤴︎ שִׁ֖יר מִזְמ֣וֹר לְאָסָֽף ׃
ᾠδὴ ψαλμοῦ τῷ Ασαφ
Canticum Psalmi Asaph .

83:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֱלֹהִ֥ים אַל ־דֳּמִי ־לָ֑ךְ אַל ־תֶּחֱרַ֖שׁ וְאַל ־תִּשְׁקֹ֣ט אֵֽל ׃
ὁ θεός τίς ὁμοιωθήσεταί σοι μὴ σιγήσῃς μηδὲ καταπραΰνῃς ὁ θεός
Deus , quis similis erit tibi ? ne taceas , neque compescaris , Deus :
— God, don’t keep silent. Don’t keep silent, and don’t be still, God.
83:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּֽי ־הִנֵּ֣ה א֭וֹיְבֶיךָ יֶהֱמָי֑וּן וּ֝מְשַׂנְאֶ֗יךָ נָ֣שְׂאוּ רֹֽאשׁ ׃
ὅτι ἰδοὺ οἱ ἐχθροί σου ἤχησαν καὶ οἱ μισοῦντές σε ἦραν κεφαλήν
quoniam ecce inimici tui sonuerunt , et qui oderunt te extulerunt caput .
— For, behold, your enemies are stirred up. Those who hate you have lifted up their heads.
83:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ עַֽל ־עַ֭מְּךָ יַעֲרִ֣ימוּ ס֑וֹד וְ֝יִתְיָעֲצ֗וּ עַל ־צְפוּנֶֽיךָ ׃
ἐπὶ τὸν λαόν σου κατεπανουργεύσαντο γνώμην καὶ ἐβουλεύσαντο κατὰ τῶν ἁγίων σου
Super populum tuum malignaverunt consilium , et cogitaverunt adversus sanctos tuos .
— They conspire with cunning against your people. They plot against your cherished ones.
83:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ אָמְר֗וּ לְ֭כוּ וְנַכְחִידֵ֣ם מִגּ֑וֹי וְלֹֽא ־יִזָּכֵ֖ר שֵֽׁם ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל עֽוֹד ׃
εἶπαν δεῦτε καὶ ἐξολεθρεύσωμεν αὐτοὺς ἐξ ἔθνους καὶ οὐ μὴ μνησθῇ τὸ ὄνομα Ισραηλ ἔτι
Dixerunt : Venite , et disperdamus eos de gente , et non memoretur nomen Israël ultra .
— “Come,” they say, “let’s destroy them as a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”
83:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּ֤י נוֹעֲצ֣וּ לֵ֣ב יַחְדָּ֑ו עָ֝לֶ֗יךָ בְּרִ֣ית יִכְרֹֽתוּ ׃
ὅτι ἐβουλεύσαντο ἐν ὁμονοίᾳ ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό κατὰ σοῦ διαθήκην διέθεντο
Quoniam cogitaverunt unanimiter ; simul adversum te testamentum disposuerunt :
— For they have conspired together with one mind. They form an alliance against you.
83:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ אׇהֳלֵ֣י אֱ֭דוֹם וְיִשְׁמְעֵאלִ֗ים מוֹאָ֥ב וְהַגְרִֽים ׃
τὰ σκηνώματα τῶν Ιδουμαίων καὶ οἱ Ισμαηλῖται Μωαβ καὶ οἱ Αγαρηνοί
tabernacula Idumaeorum et Ismahelitae , Moab et Agareni ,
— The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab, and the Hagrites;
83:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ גְּבָ֣ל וְ֭עַמּוֹן וַעֲמָלֵ֑ק פְּ֝לֶ֗שֶׁת עִם ־יֹ֥שְׁבֵי צֽוֹר ׃
Γεβαλ καὶ Αμμων καὶ Αμαληκ καὶ ἀλλόφυλοι μετὰ τῶν κατοικούντων Τύρον
Gebal , et Ammon , et Amalec ; alienigenae cum habitantibus Tyrum .
— Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
83:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ גַּם ־אַ֭שּׁוּר נִלְוָ֣ה עִמָּ֑ם הָ֤יֽוּ ־זְר֖וֹעַ לִבְנֵי ־ל֣וֹט סֶֽלָה ׃
καὶ γὰρ καὶ Ασσουρ συμπαρεγένετο μετ’ αὐτῶν ἐγενήθησαν εἰς ἀντίλημψιν τοῖς υἱοῖς Λωτ διάψαλμα
Etenim Assur venit cum illis : facti sunt in adjutorium filiis Lot .
— Assyria also is joined with them. They have helped the children of Lot. Selah.
83:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ עֲשֵֽׂה ־לָהֶ֥ם כְּמִדְיָ֑ן כְּֽסִיסְרָ֥א כְ֝יָבִ֗ין בְּנַ֣חַל קִישֽׁוֹן ׃
ποίησον αὐτοῖς ὡς τῇ Μαδιαμ καὶ τῷ Σισαρα ὡς ὁ Ιαβιν ἐν τῷ χειμάρρῳ Κισων
Fac illis sicut Madian et Sisarae , sicut Jabin in torrente Cisson .
— Do to them as you did to Midian, as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the river Kishon;
83:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ נִשְׁמְד֥וּ בְֽעֵין ־דֹּ֑אר הָ֥יוּ דֹ֝֗מֶן לָאֲדָמָֽה ׃
ἐξωλεθρεύθησαν ἐν Αενδωρ ἐγενήθησαν ὡσεὶ κόπρος τῇ γῇ
Disperierunt in Endor ; facti sunt ut stercus terrae .
— who perished at Endor, who became as dung for the earth.
83:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ שִׁיתֵ֣מוֹ נְ֭דִיבֵימוֹ כְּעֹרֵ֣ב וְכִזְאֵ֑ב וּֽכְזֶ֥בַח וּ֝כְצַלְמֻנָּ֗ע כׇּל ־נְסִיכֵֽימוֹ ׃
θοῦ τοὺς ἄρχοντας αὐτῶν ὡς τὸν Ωρηβ καὶ Ζηβ καὶ Ζεβεε καὶ Σαλμανα πάντας τοὺς ἄρχοντας αὐτῶν
Pone principes eorum sicut Oreb , et Zeb , et Zebee , et Salmana : omnes principes eorum ,
ማኅሌት ፡ መዝሙር ፡ ዘአሳፍ ። እግዚኦ ፡ መኑ ፡ ከማከ ፤ ኢታርምም ፡ ወኢትጸመም ፡ እግዚኦ ።
Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,
83:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אָ֭מְרוּ נִ֣ירְשָׁה לָּ֑נוּ אֵ֝֗ת נְא֣וֹת אֱלֹהִֽים ׃
οἵτινες εἶπαν κληρονομήσωμεν ἑαυτοῖς τὸ ἁγιαστήριον τοῦ θεοῦ
qui dixerunt : Haereditate possideamus sanctuarium Dei .
እስመ ፡ ናሁ ፡ ወውዑ ፡ ፀርከ ፤ ወአንሥኡ ፡ ርእሶሙ ፡ ጸላእትከ ።
who said, “Let’s take possession of God’s pasture lands.”
83:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֱֽלֹהַ֗י שִׁיתֵ֥מוֹ כַגַּלְגַּ֑ל כְּ֝קַ֗שׁ לִפְנֵי ־רֽוּחַ ׃
ὁ θεός μου θοῦ αὐτοὺς ὡς τροχόν ὡς καλάμην κατὰ πρόσωπον ἀνέμου
Deus meus , pone illos ut rotam , et sicut stipulam ante faciem venti .
ወተጓሕለውዎሙ ፡ ምክረ ፡ ለሕዝብከ ፤ ወተማከሩ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ቅዱሳኒከ ።
My God, make them like tumbleweed, like chaff before the wind.
83:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ כְּאֵ֥שׁ תִּבְעַר ־יָ֑עַר וּ֝כְלֶהָבָ֗ה תְּלַהֵ֥ט הָרִֽים ׃
ὡσεὶ πῦρ ὃ διαφλέξει δρυμόν ὡς εἰ φλὸξ κατακαύσαι ὄρη
Sicut ignis qui comburit silvam , et sicut flamma comburens montes ,
ወይቤሉ ፡ ንዑ ፡ ንሥርዎሙ ፡ እምአሕዛብ ፤ ወኢይዝክሩ ፡ እንከ ፡ ስመ ፡ እስራኤል ።
As the fire that burns the forest, as the flame that sets the mountains on fire,
83:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ כֵּ֭ן תִּרְדְּפֵ֣ם בְּסַעֲרֶ֑ךָ וּבְסוּפָתְךָ֥ תְבַהֲלֵֽם ׃
οὕτως καταδιώξεις αὐτοὺς ἐν τῇ καταιγίδι σου καὶ ἐν τῇ ὀργῇ σου ταράξεις αὐτούς
ita persequeris illos in tempestate tua , et in ira tua turbabis eos .
እስመ ፡ ተማከሩ ፡ ኅቡረ ፡ ወዐረዩ ፤ ላዕሌከ ፡ ተሰካተዩ ፡ ወተካየዱ ። ተዓይኒሆሙ ፡ ለኢዶምያስ ፡ ወለእስማኤላውያን ፤
so pursue them with your tempest, and terrify them with your storm.
83:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ מַלֵּ֣א פְנֵיהֶ֣ם קָל֑וֹן וִיבַקְשׁ֖וּ שִׁמְךָ֣ יְהֹוָֽה ׃
πλήρωσον τὰ πρόσωπα αὐτῶν ἀτιμίας καὶ ζητήσουσιν τὸ ὄνομά σου κύριε
Imple facies eorum ignominia , et quaerent nomen tuum , Domine .
ሞአብ ፡ ወአጋራውያን ። ጌባል ፡ ወአሞን ፡ ወአማሌቅ ፤ ወአሎፍሊ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ሰብአ ፡ ጢሮስ ።
Fill their faces with confusion, that they may seek your name, Yahweh.
83:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ יֵבֹ֖שׁוּ וְיִבָּהֲל֥וּ עֲדֵי ־עַ֗ד וְֽיַחְפְּר֥וּ וְיֹאבֵֽדוּ ׃
αἰσχυνθήτωσαν καὶ ταραχθήτωσαν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος καὶ ἐντραπήτωσαν καὶ ἀπολέσθωσαν
Erubescant , et conturbentur in saeculum saeculi , et confundantur , et pereant .
ወአሶርሂ ፡ ኀበረ ፡ ምስሌሆሙ ፤ ወኮንዎሙ ፡ ረድኤተ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ ሎጥ ።
Let them be disappointed and dismayed forever. Yes, let them be confounded and perish;
83:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְֽיֵדְע֗וּ כִּי ־אַתָּ֬ה שִׁמְךָ֣ יְהֹוָ֣ה לְבַדֶּ֑ךָ עֶ֝לְי֗וֹן עַל ־כׇּל ־הָאָֽרֶץ ׃ {פ}
καὶ γνώτωσαν ὅτι ὄνομά σοι κύριος σὺ μόνος ὕψιστος ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν
Et cognoscant quia nomen tibi Dominus : tu solus Altissimus in omni terra .
ረስዮሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ምድያም ፡ ወሲሳራ ፤ ወከመ ፡ ኢያቤስ ፡ በፈለገ ፡ ቂሶን ። ወይሠረዉ ፡ ከመ ፡ እለ ፡ እንዶር ፤ ወይኩኑ ፡ ከመ ፡ መሬተ ፡ ምድር ። ረስዮሙ ፡ ለመላእክቲሆሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ሆሬብ ፡ ወዜብ ፤ ወዜብሄል ፡ ወሰልማና ፡ ወኵሎሙ ፡ መላእክቲሆሙ ። እለ ፡ ይብሉ ፡ ንወርስ ፡ ምስዋዒሁ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ። አምላኪየ ፡ ረስዮሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ መንኰራኵር ፤ ወከመ ፡ ሣዕር ፡ ዘቅድመ ፡ ገጸ ፡ እሳት ። ወከመ ፡ እሳት ፡ ዘያውዒ ፡ ገዳመ ፤ ወከመ ፡ ነበልባል ፡ ዘያነድድ ፡ አድባረ ። ከማሁ ፡ ስድዶሙ ፡ በዐውሎከ ፤ ወሁኮሙ ፡ በመቅሠፍትከ ። ምላእ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ገጾሙ ፡ ኀሳረ ፤ ወያእምሩ ፡ ስመከ ፡ እግዚኦ ። ይትኀፈሩ ፡ ወይትሀወኩ ፡ ለዓለመ ፡ ዓለም ፤ ወይኅሰሩ ፡ ወይትሐጐሉ ። ወያእምሩ ፡ ስመከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ከመ ፡ አንተ ፡ ባሕቲትከ ፡ ልዑል ፡ ዲበ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ምድር ።
that they may know that you alone, whose name is Yahweh, are the Most High over all the earth.
