ወእምድኅረ፡ ሞተ፡ አካአብ፡ አፅረሩ፡ ሞአብ።
Moab rebelled against Israel after the death of Ahab.
亞哈死後，摩押背叛以色列。
1:2
ወደወየ፡ አካዝያስ፡ ወሰከበ፡ ውስተ፡ ጽርሑ፡ በሰማርያ፡ ወለአከ፡ ሐዋርያተ፡ ወይቤሎሙ፡ ሑሩ፡ ተሰአሉ፡ ሊተ፡ ኀበ፡ በዓለ፡ ጽንጽንያ፡ አምላከ፡ አቃሮን፡ ለእመ፡ አሐዩ፡ እምዛቲ፡ ደዌ፡ ወሖሩ፡ ይስአሉ፡ ሎቱ።
Ahaziah fell down through the lattice in his upper room that was in Samaria, and was sick. So he sent messengers, and said to them, “Go, inquire of Baal Zebub, the god of Ekron, whether I will recover from this sickness.”
亞哈謝在撒馬利亞，一日從樓上的欄杆裏掉下來，就病了；於是差遣使者說：「你們去問以革倫的神巴力‧西卜，我這病能好不能好。」
1:3
ወጸውዖ፡ መልአከ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለኤልያስ፡ ትስብያዊ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ተንሥእ፡ ሖር፡ ተቀበሎሙ፡ ለሐዋርያቲሁ፡ ለንጉሠ፡ ሰማርያ፡ ወበሎሙ፡ ኢሀሎኑአ፡ አምላከ፡ እስራኤልአ፡ ከመአ፡ ትሖሩአ፡ አንትሙ፡ ትስአሉ፡ ኀበ፡ በዓለ፡ ጽንጽንያ፡ አምላከ፡ አቃሮን ፤ አኮኬ፡ ከማሁ።
But Yahweh’s angel said to Elijah the Tishbite, “Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and tell them, ‘Is it because there is no God in Israel that you go to inquire of Baal Zebub, the god of Ekron?
但耶和華的使者對提斯比人以利亞說：「你起來，去迎着撒馬利亞王的使者，對他們說：『你們去問以革倫神巴力‧西卜，豈因以色列中沒有上帝嗎？』
1:4
ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ምስካብከ፡ ዘውስቴቱ፡ ሰከብከ፡ ወኢትትነሣእ፡ እምውስቴቱ፡ በህየአ፡ ሞተአ፡ ትመውትአ፡ ወሖረ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ወይቤሎሙ፡ ከማሁ።
Now therefore Yahweh says, “You will not come down from the bed where you have gone up, but you will surely die.”’” Then Elijah departed.
所以耶和華如此說：『你必不下你所上的床，必定要死！』」以利亞就去了。
1:5
ወተመይጡ፡ እሙንቱ፡ ሐዋርያቲሁ፡ ኀቤሁ፡ ወይቤሎሙ፡ ምንተ፡ አግብአክሙ።
The messengers returned to him, and he said to them, “Why is it that you have returned?”
使者回來見王，王問他們說：「你們為甚麼回來呢？」
1:6
ወይቤልዎ፡ ተቅበለነ፡ ፩በእሲ፡ ወይቤለነ፡ ሖሩ፡ ግብኡ፡ ኀበ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ዘፈነወክሙ፡ ወበልዎ፡ ከመዝአ፡ ይቤአ፡ እግዚአብሔርአ፡ ኢሀሎኑአ፡ አምላከ፡ እስራኤል፡ ከመ፡ ትሖር፡ ኀበ፡ በዓለ፡ ጽንጽንያ፡ አምላከ፡ አቃሮን፡ ትስአል ፡ አኮኬ፡ ከማሁ ፤ ምስካብከ፡ ዘውስቴቱ፡ ሰከብከ፡ ኢትትነሣአ፡ እምኔሁአ ፤ ሞተአ፡ ትመውትአ።
They said to him, “A man came up to meet us, and said to us, ‘Go, return to the king who sent you, and tell him, “Yahweh says, ‘Is it because there is no God in Israel that you send to inquire of Baal Zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you will not come down from the bed where you have gone up, but you will surely die.’”’”
使者回答說：「有一個人迎着我們來，對我們說：『你們回去見差你們來的王，對他說：耶和華如此說，你差人去問以革倫神巴力‧西卜，豈因以色列中沒有上帝嗎？所以你必不下所上的床，必定要死。』」
1:7
ወይቤሎሙ፡ ምንተ፡ ይመስል፡ ብእሲሁ፡ ዘተቀበለክሙ፡ ወዘንተ፡ ነገረ፡ ዘነገረክሙ።
He said to them, “What kind of man was he who came up to meet you and told you these words?”
王問他們說：「迎着你們來告訴你們這話的，是怎樣的人？」
1:8
ወይቤልዎ፡ ጸጓር፡ ብእሲሁ፡ ወቅናት፡ ዘአዲም፡ ውስተ፡ ሐቌሁ፡ ወይቤሎሙ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ትስብያዊ፡ ውእቱ።
They answered him, “He was a hairy man, and wearing a leather belt around his waist.” He said, “It’s Elijah the Tishbite.”
回答說：「他身穿毛衣，腰束皮帶。」王說：「這必是提斯比人以利亞。」
1:9
ወለአከ፡ ኀቤሁ፡ ይጸውዕዎ፡ ፶ብእሴ፡ ምስለ፡ መስፍኖሙ፡ ወሖሩ፡ ኀቤሁ፡ ወረከብዎ፡ ይነብር፡ ውስተ፡ ርእሰ፡ ደብር፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ዝክቱ፡ መስፍኖሙ፡ ብእሴ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ንጉሥ፡ ይጺውዐከ፡ ረድ።
Then the king sent a captain of fifty with his fifty to him. He went up to him; and behold, he was sitting on the top of the hill. He said to him, “Man of God, the king has said, ‘Come down!’”
於是，王差遣五十夫長，帶領五十人去見以利亞，他就上到以利亞那裏；以利亞正坐在山頂上。五十夫長對他說：「神人哪，王吩咐你下來！」
1:10
ወአውሥኦ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ለውእቱ፡ መስፍኖሙ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ለእመ፡ ብእሴ፡ እግዚአብሔርኑ፡ አነ፡ ለትረድ፡ እሳት፡ እምሰማይ፡ ወትብላዕከ፡ ለከ፡ ወለ፶እለ፡ ምስሌከ፡ ወወረደት፡ እሳት፡ እምሰማይ፡ ወበልዐቶሙ፡ ሎቱ፡ ወለ፶እለ፡ ምስሌሁ።
Elijah answered to the captain of fifty, “If I am a man of God, then let fire come down from the sky and consume you and your fifty!” Then fire came down from the sky, and consumed him and his fifty.
以利亞回答說：「我若是神人，願火從天上降下來，燒滅你和你那五十人！」於是有火從天上降下來，燒滅五十夫長和他那五十人。
1:11
ወደገመ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ፈንዎ፡ ፶ብእሴ፡ ምስለ፡ መስፍኖሙ፡ ወጸውዖ፡ መስፍኖሙ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ብእሴ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ይጼውዐከ፡ ንጉሥ ፤ ፍጡነ፡ ረድ።
Again he sent to him another captain of fifty with his fifty. He answered him, “Man of God, the king has said, ‘Come down quickly!’”
王第二次差遣一個五十夫長，帶領五十人去見以利亞。五十夫長對以利亞說：「神人哪，王吩咐你快快下來！」
1:12
ወአውሥአ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ እመሰ፡ ብእሴ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አነ፡ ትረድ፡ እሳት፡ እምሰማይ፡ ወትብላዕክሙ፡ ለከ፡ ወለ፶እለ፡ ምስሌከ፡ ወወረደት፡ እሳት፡ እምሰማይ፡ ወበልዐቶ፡ ሎቱ፡ ወለ፶፡ እለ፡ ምስሌሁ።
Elijah answered them, “If I am a man of God, then let fire come down from the sky and consume you and your fifty!” Then God’s fire came down from the sky, and consumed him and his fifty.
以利亞回答說：「我若是神人，願火從天上降下來，燒滅你和你那五十人！」於是上帝的火從天上降下來，燒滅五十夫長和他那五十人。
1:13
ወሠለስ፡ ዓዲ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ፈንዎ፡ ፶ብእሴ፡ ምስለ፡ መስፍኖሙ፡ ወሖረ፡ ኀቤሁ፡ ዝኩ፡ መስፍኖሙ፡ ሣልስ፡ ወእስተብረከ፡ በብረኪሁ፡ ቅድሜሁ፡ ለኤልያስ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ብእሴ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ገነይኩ፡ ለከ፡ ትክበር፡ ነፍስየ፡ ወነፍሶሙ፡ ለአግብርቲከ፡ በቅድመ፡ አዕይንቲከ ፤
Again he sent the captain of a third fifty with his fifty. The third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and begged him, and said to him, “Man of God, please let my life and the life of these fifty of your servants be precious in your sight.
王第三次差遣一個五十夫長，帶領五十人去。這五十夫長上去，雙膝跪在以利亞面前，哀求他說：「神人哪，願我的性命和你這五十個僕人的性命在你眼前看為寶貴！
1:14
ናሁ፡ ወረደ፡ እሳት፡ እምሰማይ፡ ወበልዐቶሙ፡ ለእልክቱ፡ ፪መሳፍንት፡ ቀደምት፡ ወለሰብኦሙ፡ በበ፶ወይእዜኒ፡ ትክበር፡ ነፍስየ፡ በቀድመ፡ አዕይነቲከ።
Behold, fire came down from the sky and consumed the last two captains of fifty with their fifties. But now let my life be precious in your sight.”
已經有火從天上降下來，燒滅前兩次來的五十夫長和他們各自帶的五十人；現在願我的性命在你眼前看為寶貴！」
1:15
ወነበቦ፡ መልእከ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለኤልያስ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ረድ፡ ምስሌሁ፡ ወኢትፍራህ፡ እምቅድመ፡ ገጾሙ፡ ወተንሥአ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ወወረደ፡ ምስሌሁ፡ ወሖረ፡ ኀበ፡ ንጉሥ።
Yahweh’s angel said to Elijah, “Go down with him. Don’t be afraid of him.” Then he arose and went down with him to the king.
耶和華的使者對以利亞說：「你同着他下去，不要怕他！」以利亞就起來，同着他下去見王，
1:16
ወተናገሮ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በእፎአ፡ ከመአ፡ ለአከ፡ ኀበ፡ በዓለ፡ ጽንጽንያ፡ አምላከ፡ አቃሮን ፤ አኮኬ፡ ከማሁ ፤ እምስካብከ፡ ዘውስቴቱ፡ ሰከብከ፡ ኢትትነሣእ፡ እምኔሁ፡ እስመአ፡ ሞተአ፡ ትመውትአ።
He said to him, “Yahweh says, ‘Because you have sent messengers to inquire of Baal Zebub, the god of Ekron, is it because there is no God in Israel to inquire of his word? Therefore you will not come down from the bed where you have gone up, but you will surely die.’”
對王說：「耶和華如此說：『你差人去問以革倫神巴力‧西卜，豈因以色列中沒有上帝可以求問嗎？所以你必不下所上的床，必定要死！』」
1:17
ወሞተ፡ በቃለ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘይቤሎ፡ ኤልያስ።
So he died according to Yahweh’s word which Elijah had spoken. Jehoram began to reign in his place in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, because he had no son.
亞哈謝果然死了，正如耶和華藉以利亞所說的話。因他沒有兒子，他兄弟約蘭接續他作王，正在猶大王約沙法的兒子約蘭第二年。
1:18
ወኵሉ፡ ነገሩ፡ ለእካዝያስ፡ ወኵሉ፡ ዘገብረ፡ ናሁ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ውእቱ፡ ዘጽሑፍ፡ ውስተ፡ መጽሐፈ፡ ነቢያቲሆሙ፡ መዋዕሊሆሙ፡ ለነገሥተ፡ እስራኤል።
Now the rest of the acts of Ahaziah which he did, aren’t they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
亞哈謝其餘所行的事都寫在以色列諸王記上。
1:19
ወኢዮራም፡ ወልደ፡ አካአብ፡ ነግሠ፡ ለእስራኤል፡ በሰማርያ፡ ፲ወ፪ዓመተ፡ አመ፡ ፲ወ፰ዓመተ፡ መንግሥቱ፡ ለዮሳፍጥ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወገብረ፡ እኩየ፡ ቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወባሕቱ፡ አኮ፡ ከመ፡ እኀዊሁ፡ ወአኮ፡ ከመ፡ እሙ፡ ወአሰሰለ፡ አምሳሊሁ፡ ለበዓል፡ ዘገብረ፡ አቡሁ፡ [ወ]ሰበሮሙ፡ ወባሕቱ፡ ተለወ፡ ኀጢአተ፡ ቤቱ፡ ለኢዮርብዓም፡ ዘአስሐቶሙ፡ ለእስራኤል፡ ወኢኀደገ፡ ኪያሁ፡ ወተምዕዐ፡ መዐተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ላዕለ፡ ቤተ፡ አካአብ።
When Yahweh was about to take Elijah up by a whirlwind into heaven, Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.
耶和華要用旋風接以利亞升天的時候，以利亞與以利沙從吉甲前往。
