1:1
(:ኦሪት ፡ ዘዳግም ።)ዝንቱ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ነገር ፡ ዘነገሮሙ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ በማዕዶተ ፡ ዮርዳንስ ፡ መንገለ ፡ ዐረቢሁ ፡ በኀበ ፡ ባሕረ ፡ [ኤ]ርትራ ፡ በማእከለ ፡ ፋራን ፡ ጦፌል ፡ ወሎቦን ፡ ወአውሎን ፡ ወዘክሪስያ ፤
These are the words which Moses spoke to all Israel beyond the Jordan in the wilderness, in the Arabah opposite Suf, between Paran, Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth, and Dizahab.
以下所記的是摩西在約旦河東的曠野、疏弗對面的亞拉巴－就是巴蘭、陀弗、拉班、哈洗錄、底撒哈中間－向以色列眾人所說的話。（

በዐሡር ፡ መዋዕል ፡ እምኮሬብ ፡ በፍኖተ ፡ ደብረ ፡ ሴይር ፡ እስከ ፡ ቃዴስ ፡ በርኔ ።
It is eleven days’ journey from Horeb by the way of Mount Seir to Kadesh Barnea.
從何烈山經過西珥山到加低斯‧巴尼亞有十一天的路程。）

ወኮነ ፡ አመ ፡ አርብዓ ፡ ዓም ፡ አመ ፡ ዐሠርቱ ፡ ወአሐዱ ፡ አውራኅ ፡ አመ ፡ ሠርቀ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ ነገሮሙ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዘአዘዞ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይንግሮሙ ፤
In the fortieth year, in the eleventh month, on the first day of the month, Moses spoke to the children of Israel according to all that Yahweh had given him in commandment to them,
出埃及第四十年十一月初一日，摩西照耶和華藉着他所吩咐以色列人的話都曉諭他們。
1:4
እምድኅረ ፡ ቀተልዎ ፡ ለሴዎን ፡ ንጉሠ ፡ አሞሬዎን ፡ ዘይነብር ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሔሴቦን ፡ ወአግ ፡ ንጉሠ ፡ ባሳን ፡ ዘይነብር ፡ ውስተ ፡ አስጣሮት ፡ ወኤ(ኔ)ድራይን ፡ በማዕዶተ ፡ ዮርዳንስ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ሞአብ ፤
after he had struck Sihon the king of the Amorites who lived in Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan who lived in Ashtaroth, at Edrei.
那時，他已經擊殺了住希實本的亞摩利王西宏和住以得來、亞斯他錄的巴珊王噩。
1:5
ወአኀዘ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ይንግር ፡ ዘንተ ፡ ሕገ ፡ ወይቤ ።
Beyond the Jordan, in the land of Moab, Moses began to declare this law, saying,
摩西在約旦河東的摩押地講律法說：
1:6
እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክነ ፡ ነገረነ ፡ በኮሬብ ፡ ወይቤለነ ፡ የአክለክሙ ፡ [ኀዲሮቱ ፡] ውስተ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ደብር ።
“Yahweh our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying, ‘You have lived long enough at this mountain.
「耶和華－我們的上帝在何烈山曉諭我們說：你們在這山上住的日子夠了；

ተንሥኡ ፡ እንከ ፡ ወግብኡ ፡ ወባኡ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደብረ ፡ አሞሬዎን ፡ ወውስተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ መኃድረ ፡ አራባ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደብሩ ፡ ወውስተ ፡ ገዳሙ ፡ ወውስተ ፡ ሊባ ፡ ወውስተ ፡ ጰራሊያ ፡ ዘምድረ ፡ ከናአን ፡ ወአንጢሊባኖን ፡ እስከ ፡ ፈለግ ፡ ዐቢይ ፡ ፈለገ ፡ [ኤፍራ]ጥስ ።
Turn, and take your journey, and go to the hill country of the Amorites and to all the places near there: in the Arabah, in the hill country, in the lowland, in the South, by the seashore, in the land of the Canaanites, and in Lebanon as far as the great river, the river Euphrates.
要起行轉到亞摩利人的山地和靠近這山地的各處，就是亞拉巴、山地、高原、南地，沿海一帶迦南人的地，並黎巴嫩山又到幼發拉底大河。
1:8
ናሁ ፡ ወሀብኩክሙዋ ፡ ለይእቲ ፡ ምድር ፡ እንተ ፡ መሐልኩ ፡ ለአበዊክሙ ፡ ቅድሜክሙ ፡ ለአብርሃም ፡ ወለይስሐቅ ፡ ወለያዕቆብ ፡ ከመ ፡ አሀቦሙ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ወለዘርኦሙ ፡ እምድኅሬሆሙ ፡ ምድረ ፡ እንተ ፡ ትውኅዝ ፡ ሐሊበ ፡ ወመዓረ ።
Behold, I have set the land before you. Go in and possess the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers—to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob—to give to them and to their offspring after them.’”
如今我將這地擺在你們面前；你們要進去得這地，就是耶和華向你們列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓應許賜給他們和他們後裔為業之地。」
1:9
ወእቤለክሙ ፡ በውእቶን ፡ መዋዕል ፡ እንዘ ፡ እብል ፡ ኢይክል ፡ ባሕቲትየ ፡ ክሂሎተክሙ ።
I spoke to you at that time, saying, “I am not able to bear you myself alone.
「那時，我對你們說：『管理你們的重任，我獨自擔當不起。
1:10
እስመ ፡ አብዝኀነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክነ ፡ ወናሁ ፡ ብዙኃን ፡ አንትሙ ፡ ዮም ፡ ከመ ፡ ከዋክብተ ፡ ሰማይ ።
Yahweh your God has multiplied you, and behold, you are today as the stars of the sky for multitude.
耶和華－你們的上帝使你們多起來。看哪，你們今日像天上的星那樣多。
1:11
ወያብዝኅክሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላኮሙ ፡ ለአበዊክሙ ፡ ምእልፊተ ፡ ወለይባርክሙ ፡ በከመ ፡ ይቤለክሙ ።
May Yahweh, the God of your fathers, make you a thousand times as many as you are and bless you, as he has promised you!
惟願耶和華－你們列祖的上帝使你們比如今更多千倍，照他所應許你們的話賜福與你們。
1:12
ወእፎ ፡ እክል ፡ ባሕቲትየ ፡ ጻማክሙ ፡ ወሥራሐክሙ ፡ ወተባህሎተክሙ ።
How can I myself alone bear your problems, your burdens, and your strife?
但你們的麻煩，和管理你們的重任，並你們的爭訟，我獨自一人怎能擔當得起呢？
1:13
አውፅኡ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ዕደወ ፡ ጠቢባነ ፡ ወለባውያነ ፡ ወማእምራነ ፡ ዘዘ ፡ ነገድክሙ ፡ ወእሠይሞሙ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ መሳፍንቲክሙ ።
Take wise men of understanding who are respected among your tribes, and I will make them heads over you.”
你們要按着各支派選舉有智慧、有見識、為眾人所認識的，我立他們為你們的首領。』
1:14
ወአውሣእክሙኒ ፡ ወትቤሉኒ ፡ ሠናይ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ቃል ፡ ወትቤሉኒ ፡ ግበር ፡ ከማሁ ።
You answered me, and said, “The thing which you have spoken is good to do.”
你們回答我說：『照你所說的行了為妙。』
1:15
ወነሣእኩ ፡ እምውስቴትክሙ ፡ ዕደወ ፡ ጠቢባነ ፡ ወማእምራነ ፡ ወለባውያነ ፡ ወሤምክዎሙ ፡ ላዕሌክሙ ፡ ይኩኑክሙ ፡ ሐበይተ ፡ ወመሳፍንተ ፡ ወነገሥተ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ወሊቃናተ ፡ ወጸሐፍቶሙ ፡ ለመኳንንቲክሙ ።
So I took the heads of your tribes, wise and respected men, and made them heads over you, captains of thousands, captains of hundreds, captains of fifties, captains of tens, and officers, according to your tribes.
我便將你們各支派的首領，有智慧、為眾人所認識的，照你們的支派，立他們為官長、千夫長、百夫長、五十夫長、十夫長，管理你們。
1:16
ወእቤሎሙ ፡ በውእቶን ፡ መዋዕል ፡ ስምዑ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ አኀዊክሙ ፡ ወአግብኡ ፡ ፍትሐ ፡ በጽድቅ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ወእኁሁ ፡ ወማእከለ ፡ ግዩር ።
I commanded your judges at that time, saying, “Hear cases between your brothers and judge righteously between a man and his brother, and the foreigner who is living with him.
「當時，我囑咐你們的審判官說：『你們聽訟，無論是弟兄彼此爭訟，是與同居的外人爭訟，都要按公義判斷。
1:17
ወኢትንሣእ ፡ ገጸ ፡ በፍትሕ ፡ ኢለንኡስ ፡ ወኢለዐቢይ ፡ ኰንን ፡ ወኢትንሣእ ፡ ገጸ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ እስመ ፡ ፍትሕ ፡ ዘእግዚአብሔር ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ወለእመቦ ፡ ዘተዐጸበክሙ ፡ ነገር ፡ ታዐርጉ ፡ ኀቤየ ፡ ወእሰምዖ ።
You shall not show partiality in judgment; you shall hear the small and the great alike. You shall not be afraid of the face of man, for the judgment is God’s. The case that is too hard for you, you shall bring to me, and I will hear it.”
審判的時候，不可看人的外貌；聽訟不可分貴賤，不可懼怕人，因為審判是屬乎上帝的。若有難斷的案件，可以呈到我這裏，我就判斷。』
1:18
ወአዘዝኩክሙ ፡ በውእቶን ፡ መዋዕል ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዘትገብሩ ፡ ቃለ ።
I commanded you at that time all the things which you should do.
那時，我將你們所當行的事都吩咐你們了。」
1:19
ወግዕዝነ ፡ እምነ ፡ ኮሬብ ፡ ወሖርነ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዝክተ ፡ ገዳመ ፡ ዐቢየ ፡ ወግሩመ ፡ ዘርኢክሙ ፡ በፍኖተ ፡ ደብረ ፡ አሞሬዎን ፡ በከመ ፡ አዘዘነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክነ ፡ ወበጻሕነ ፡ እስከ ፡ ቃዴስ ፡ በርኔ ።
We traveled from Horeb and went through all that great and terrible wilderness which you saw, by the way to the hill country of the Amorites, as Yahweh our God commanded us; and we came to Kadesh Barnea.
「我們照着耶和華－我們上帝所吩咐的從何烈山起行，經過你們所看見那大而可怕的曠野，往亞摩利人的山地去，到了加低斯‧巴尼亞。
1:20
ወነገርኩክሙ ፡ በውእቶን ፡ መዋዕል ፡ ወእቤለክሙ ፡ ብጽሑ ፡ እስከ ፡ ደብረ ፡ አሞሬዎን ፡ ዘይሁበክሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክክሙ ።
I said to you, “You have come to the hill country of the Amorites, which Yahweh our God gives to us.
我對你們說：『你們已經到了耶和華－我們上帝所賜給我們的亞摩利人之山地。
1:21
ወናሁ ፡ ርእዩ ፡ ከመ ፡ ወሀበክሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ [አምላክክሙ ፡ ይእተ ፡ ምድረ ፡] ቅድመ ፡ ገጽክሙ ፡ ዕረጉ ፡ እንከ ፡ ወተዋረስዋ ፡ በከመ ፡ ይቤሎሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላኮሙ ፡ ለአበዊነ ፡ ወኢትፍርሁ ፡ ወኢትደንግፁ ።
Behold, Yahweh your God has set the land before you. Go up, take possession, as Yahweh the God of your fathers has spoken to you. Don’t be afraid, neither be dismayed.”
看哪，耶和華－你的上帝已將那地擺在你面前，你要照耶和華－你列祖的上帝所說的上去得那地為業；不要懼怕，也不要驚惶。』
1:22
ወእምዝ ፡ መጻእክሙ ፡ ኵልክሙ ፡ ኀቤየ ፡ ወትቤሉኒ ፡ ንፈኑ ፡ ዕደወ ፡ ቅድሜነ ፡ ወይርአይዋ ፡ ለይእቲ ፡ ምድር ፡ ለነ ፡ ወይዜንውነ ፡ ዜናሃ ፡ ለይእቲ ፡ ፍኖት ፡ እንተ ፡ ሀለወተነ ፡ ንዕረግ ፡ ውስቴታ ፡ ወኦህጉርኒ ፡ እለ ፡ ሀለወነ ፡ ንባአ ፡ ውስቴቶን ።
You came near to me, everyone of you, and said, “Let’s send men before us, that they may search the land for us, and bring back to us word of the way by which we must go up, and the cities to which we shall come.”
你們都就近我來說：『我們要先打發人去，為我們窺探那地，將我們上去該走何道，必進何城，都回報我們。』
1:23
ወአደመኒ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ነገር ፡ ወነሣእኩ ፡ እምውስቴትክሙ ፡ ፀሠርተ ፡ ወክልኤተ ፡ ዕደወ ፡ በበ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ ነገድ ።
The thing pleased me well. I took twelve of your men, one man for every tribe.
這話我以為美，就從你們中間選了十二個人，每支派一人。
1:24
ወተመይጡ ፡ ወዐርጉ ፡ ውስተ ፡ [ደብር ፡ ወበጽሑ ፡ ውስተ ፡] ቈላተ ፡ ዐጽቅ ፡ ወርእዩ ።
They turned and went up into the hill country, and came to the valley of Eshcol, and spied it out.
於是他們起身上山地去，到以實各谷，窺探那地。
1:25
ወነሥኡ ፡ ምስሌሆሙ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ ፍሬሃ ፡ ለይእቲ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወአምጽኡ ፡ ኀቤነ ፡ ወንቤ ፡ ሠናይት ፡ ምድር ፡ እንተ ፡ ይሁበነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክነ ።
They took some of the fruit of the land in their hands and brought it down to us, and brought us word again, and said, “It is a good land which Yahweh our God gives to us.”
他們手裏拿着那地的果子下來，到我們那裏，回報說：『耶和華－我們的上帝所賜給我們的是美地。』
1:26
ወአበይክሙ ፡ ዐሪገ ፡ ወክሕድክሙ ፡ በቃለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክክሙ ።
Yet you wouldn’t go up, but rebelled against the commandment of Yahweh your God.
「你們卻不肯上去，竟違背了耶和華－你們上帝的命令，
1:27
ወአንጐርጐርክሙ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ተዓይኒክሙ ፡ ወትቤሉ ፡ እስመ ፡ ይጸልአነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አውፅአነ ፡ እምድረ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያግብአነ ፡ ውስተ ፡ እዴሆሙ ፡ ለአሞሬዎን ፡ ከመ ፡ ይሠርውነ ።
You murmured in your tents, and said, “Because Yahweh hated us, he has brought us out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites to destroy us.
在帳棚內發怨言說：『耶和華因為恨我們，所以將我們從埃及地領出來，要交在亞摩利人手中，除滅我們。
1:28
አይቴ ፡ እንከ ፡ ነዐርግ ፡ ንሕነ ፤ ወባሕቱ ፡ አኀዊክሙ ፡ አክሐድዎ ፡ ለልብክሙ ፡ ወይቤሉክሙ ፡ ዐቢይ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ወብዙኅ ፡ ወይጸንዑ ፡ እምኔነ ፡ ወአህጉሪሆሙኒ ፡ ዐበይት ፡ ወቦንቱ ፡ ጥቅመ ፡ ዘይበጽሕ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሰማይ ፡ ወርኢነ ፡ በህየ ፡ ደቂቆሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ያርብሕ ።
Where are we going up? Our brothers have made our heart melt, saying, ‘The people are greater and taller than we. The cities are great and fortified up to the sky. Moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakim there!’”
我們上哪裏去呢？我們的弟兄使我們的心消化，說那地的民比我們又大又高，城邑又廣大又堅固，高得頂天，並且我們在那裏看見亞衲族的人。』
1:29
ወእቤለክሙ ፡ በውእቶን ፡ መዋዕል ፡ (ወ)ኢትፍርሁ ፡ ወኢትደንግፁ ፡ እምኔሆሙ ።
Then I said to you, “Don’t be terrified. Don’t be afraid of them.
我就對你們說：『不要驚恐，也不要怕他們。
1:30
እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክክሙ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ይፀብእ ፡ ምስሌክሙ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ዘየሐውር ፡ ቅድመ ፡ ገጽክሙ ፡ በከመ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘገብረ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ በምድረ ፡ ግብጽ ፤
Yahweh your God, who goes before you, he will fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes,
在你們前面行的耶和華－你們的上帝必為你們爭戰，正如他在埃及和曠野，在你們眼前所行的一樣。
1:31
ወበውስተ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ገዳም ፡ ዘርኢክሙ ፡ ዘከመ ፡ ሴሰየከ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይሴሲ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ወልዶ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ፍኖት ፡ እንተ ፡ ሖርክሙ ፡ እስከ ፡ በጻሕክሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ መካን ።
and in the wilderness where you have seen how that Yahweh your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went, until you came to this place.”
你們在曠野所行的路上，也曾見耶和華－你們的上帝撫養你們，如同人撫養兒子一般，直等你們來到這地方。』
1:32
ወኢአመንክምዎ ፡ በዝንቱ ፡ ቃል ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክክሙ ፤
Yet in this thing you didn’t believe Yahweh your God,
你們在這事上卻不信耶和華－你們的上帝。
1:33
ዘየሐውር ፡ ቅድሜክሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ፍኖት ፡ ከመ ፡ ይኅረይ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ መካነ ፡ ወይምራሕክሙ ፡ ሌሊተ ፡ በእሳት ፡ ከመ ፡ ያርኢክሙ ፡ ፍኖተ ፡ እንተ ፡ ተሐውሩ ፡ ውስቴታ ፡ ወመዓልተኒ ፡ በደመና ።
who went before you on the way, to seek out a place for you to pitch your tents in: in fire by night, to show you by what way you should go, and in the cloud by day.
他在路上，在你們前面行，為你們找安營的地方；夜間在火柱裏，日間在雲柱裏，指示你們所當行的路。」
1:34
ወሰምዐ ፡ እግዚእ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ቃለ ፡ ነገርክሙ ፡ ወተምዕዐ ፡ ወመሐለ ፡ ወይቤ ፤
Yahweh heard the voice of your words and was angry, and swore, saying,
「耶和華聽見你們這話，就發怒，起誓說：
1:35
ከመ ፡ ኢይሬእይዋ ፡ እሉ ፡ ዕደው ፡ ለይእቲ ፡ ምድር ፡ ቡርክት ፡ እንተ ፡ መሐልኩ ፡ ለአበዊሆሙ ፤
“Surely not one of these men of this evil generation shall see the good land which I swore to give to your fathers,
『這惡世代的人，連一個也不得見我起誓應許賜給你們列祖的美地；
1:36
እንበለ ፡ ካሌብ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ዬፎኔ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ይሬእያ ፡ ወሎቱ ፡ እሁባ ፡ ለይእቲ ፡ ምድር ፡ እንተ ፡ ውስቴታ ፡ ዐርገ ፡ ወለደቂቁ ፡ እስመ ፡ ኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወእቱ ፡ ልቡ ።
except Caleb the son of Jephunneh. He shall see it. I will give the land that he has trodden on to him and to his children, because he has wholly followed Yahweh.”
惟有耶孚尼的兒子迦勒必得看見，並且我要將他所踏過的地賜給他和他的子孫，因為他專心跟從我。』
1:37
ወኪያየኒ ፡ ተምዕዐ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በእንቲአክሙ ፡ ወይቤለኒ ፡ አንተኒ ፡ ኢትበውእ ፡ ህየ ።
Also Yahweh was angry with me for your sakes, saying, “You also shall not go in there.
耶和華為你的緣故也向我發怒，說：『你必不得進入那地。
1:38
እስመ ፡ ኢየሱስ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ነዌ ፡ ዘይቀውም ፡ ቅድሜከ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ይበውእ ፡ ህየ ፡ ኪያሁ ፡ አ[ጽ]ንዖ ፡ እስመ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ያወርሶሙ ፡ ይእተ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ለእስራኤል ።
Joshua the son of Nun, who stands before you, shall go in there. Encourage him, for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.
伺候你、嫩的兒子約書亞，他必得進入那地；你要勉勵他，因為他要使以色列人承受那地為業。
1:39
ወደቂቅክሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ትቤሉ ፡ ይፄወው ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ሕፃን ፡ ንኡስ ፡ ዘኢያአምር ፡ ዮም ፡ ሠናይተ ፡ ወእኪተ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ ይበውኡ ፡ ህየ ፡ ወሎሙ ፡ እሁባ ፡ ወእሙንቱ ፡ ይትወረስዋ ።
Moreover your little ones, whom you said would be captured or killed, your children, who today have no knowledge of good or evil, shall go in there. I will give it to them, and they shall possess it.
並且你們的婦人孩子，就是你們所說、必被擄掠的，和今日不知善惡的兒女，必進入那地。我要將那地賜給他們，他們必得為業。
1:40
ወአንትሙሰ ፡ ተመየጥክሙ ፡ ወገዐዝክሙ ፡ ውስቴ ፡ ገዳም ፡ ፍኖተ ፡ ባሕረ ፡ [ኤ]ርትራ ።
But as for you, turn, and take your journey into the wilderness by the way to the Red Sea.”
至於你們，要轉回，從紅海的路往曠野去。』
1:41
ወአውሣእክሙኒ ፡ ወትቤሉኒ ፡ አበስነ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክነ ፡ ነዐርግ ፡ ንሕነ ፡ ወንትቃተል ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዘከመ ፡ አዘዘነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክነ ፡ ወነሣእክሙ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ንዋየ ፡ ሐቅሉ ፡ ወዐረግሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደብር ።
Then you answered and said to me, “We have sinned against Yahweh. We will go up and fight, according to all that Yahweh our God commanded us.” Every man of you put on his weapons of war, and presumed to go up into the hill country.
「那時，你們回答我說：『我們得罪了耶和華，情願照耶和華－我們上帝一切所吩咐的上去爭戰。』於是你們各人帶着兵器，爭先上山地去了。
1:42
ወይቤለኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በሎሙ ፡ ኢትዕረጉአ ፡ ወኢትትቃተሉአ ፡ እስመ ፡ ኢሀለውኩአ ፡ ምስሌክሙአ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢትትቀጥቀጡአ ፡ ቅድመአ ፡ ፀርክሙአ ።
Yahweh said to me, “Tell them, ‘Don’t go up and don’t fight; for I am not among you, lest you be struck before your enemies.’”
耶和華吩咐我說：『你對他們說：不要上去，也不要爭戰；因我不在你們中間，恐怕你們被仇敵殺敗了。』
1:43
ወነገርኩክሙ ፡ ወኢሰማዕክሙኒ ፡ ወተዐወርክሙ ፡ ቃለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወተኀየልክሙኒ ፡ ወዐረግሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደብር ።
So I spoke to you, and you didn’t listen; but you rebelled against the commandment of Yahweh, and were presumptuous, and went up into the hill country.
我就告訴了你們，你們卻不聽從，竟違背耶和華的命令，擅自上山地去了。
1:44
ወወፅኡ ፡ አሞሬዎን ፡ እለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ደብር ፡ ወተቀበሉክሙ ፡ ወአንትዑክሙ ፡ ወሰደዱክሙ ፡ ወነደፉክሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ንህብ ፡ ወወግኡክሙ ፡ እምነ ፡ ሴይር ፡ እስከ ፡ ሔርማ ።
The Amorites, who lived in that hill country, came out against you and chased you as bees do, and beat you down in Seir, even to Hormah.
住那山地的亞摩利人就出來攻擊你們，追趕你們，如蜂擁一般，在西珥殺退你們，直到何珥瑪。
1:45
ወነበርክሙ ፡ ወበከይክሙ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወኢሰምዐክሙ ፡ ቃለክሙ ፡ ወኢነጸረክሙ ።
You returned and wept before Yahweh, but Yahweh didn’t listen to your voice, nor turn his ear to you.
你們便回來，在耶和華面前哭號；耶和華卻不聽你們的聲音，也不向你們側耳。
1:46
ወነበርክሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቃዴስ ፡ ብዙኀ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ አምጣነ ፡ ነበርክሙ ፡ ቀዲሙ ፡ ህየ ።
So you stayed in Kadesh many days, according to the days that you remained.
於是你們在加低斯住了許多日子。」
