2:1

ወካዕበ፡ እንሣእኩ፡ አዕይንትየ፡ ወርኢኩ፡ ወነዋ፡ ብእሲ፡ ወዉስተ፡ እዴሁ፡ ሐብለ፡ መስፈርት።

I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand.

我又舉目觀看，見一人手拿準繩。

2:2

ወእቤሉ፡ አይቴ፡ ተሐዉር፡ አንተ፡ ወየቤለኒ፡ ከመ፡ እስፈራ፡ ለእየሩሳሌም፡ ወአእምር፡ ሚመጠን፡ ኑኃወሚመጠን፡ ራሕባ።

Then I asked, “Where are you going?” He said to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length.”

我說：「你往哪裏去？」他對我說：「要去量耶路撒冷，看有多寬多長。」

2:3

ወእንዘ፡ ይቀዉም፡ ዝኩ፡ መልአክክ፡ ዘይትናኒ፡ ወዕ፡ ከልእ፡ ማልአክ፡ ወተቀበሎ።

Behold, the angel who talked with me went out, and another angel went out to meet him,

與我說話的天使去的時候，又有一位天使迎着他來，

2:12

ወይወርሶ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለይሁዳ፡ መክፈልቶ፡ በምድር፡ ቅድስት፡ ወዓዲ፡ የኀርያ፡ ለኢሩሳለሌም።

Yahweh will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land, and will again choose Jerusalem.

耶和華必收回猶大作他聖地的分，也必再揀選耶路撒冷。

2:13

ወይፈርህ፡ ኰሎ፡ ዘነፍ፡ እምቅድመ፡ ገጹ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ እስመ፡ ትስአ፡ እምነ፡ ደመና፡ ቅዳሳኒሁ።

Be silent, all flesh, before Yahweh; for he has roused himself from his holy habitation!”

凡有血氣的都當在耶和華面前靜默無聲；因為他興起，從聖所出來了。
