7:1
Tunc Sisennes subregulus Cœlesyriæ, et Phœnicis, et Satrabuzanes, et sodales obsecuti his, quæ a Dario rege erant decreta,
Then Sisinnes the governor of Coelesyria and Phoenicia, and Sathrabuzanes, with their companions, following the commandments of king Darius,
於是敘利亞和腓尼基的省長西西尼、薩拉布薩尼，連同他們的同僚，遵照大流士王所頒的命令，
7:2
insistebant sacrosanctis operibus diligentissime, cooperantes cum senioribus Judæorum principibus Syriæ.
did very carefully oversee the holy works, assisting the elders of the Jews and rulers of the temple.
極其謹慎地監督聖殿的工程，協助猶大人的長老和聖殿的管理者。
7:3
et prosperata sunt sacrosancta opera prophetantibus Aggæo et Zacharia prophetis.
And so the holy works prospered, while Aggaeus and Zacharias the prophets prophesied.
聖殿的工程在先知哈該和撒迦利亞說預言之下，進行得很順利。
7:4
Et consummaverunt omnia per præceptum Domini Dei Israël, et ex consilio Cyri, et Darii, et Artaxerxis regis Persarum.
And they finished these things by the commandment of the Lord, the God of Israel, and with the consent of Cyrus, Darius, and Artaxerxes, kings of the Persians.
他們照以色列的主神所頒的命令，把這些工程完成了。
7:5
Et consummata est domus nostra usque ad tertiam et vicesimam diem mensis Adar, sexto anno Darii regis.
And thus was the house finished by the three and twentieth day of the month Adar, in the sixth year of king Darius.
照波斯王古列、大流士和亞達薛西的旨意，這聖殿便建成了，到大流士王第六年亞達月二十三日完工。
7:6
Et fecerunt filii Israël et sacerdotes et Levitæ, et ceteri qui erant ex captivitate, qui appositi sunt secundum ea quæ scripta sunt in libro Moysi.
And the children of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the other that were of the captivity, that were added to them, did according to the things written in the book of Moses.
以色列子孫、祭司、利未人，以及其餘那些從被擄之地回來、歸附他們的人，都照摩西書上所載的去行。
7:7
Et obtulerunt in dedicationem templi Domini, tauros centum, arietes ducentos, agnos quadringentos.
And to the dedication of the temple of the Lord they offered a hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs;
他們為主聖殿的奉獻禮，獻上公牛一百隻、公綿羊二百隻、羊羔四百隻，
7:8
Et hœdos pro peccatis universi Israël, duodecim, secundum numerum tribuum Israël.
and twelve he-goats for the sin of all Israel, according to the number of the twelve princes of the tribes of Israel.
又獻公山羊十二隻為全以色列贖罪，按以色列十二支派首領的數目。
7:9
Et steterunt sacerdotes et Levitæ amicti stolis per tribus super omnia opera Domini Dei Israël secundum librum Moysi, et ostiarii per singulas januas.
The priests also and the Levites stood arrayed in their vestments, according to their kindred, for the services of the Lord, the God of Israel, according to the book of Moses: and the gatekeepers at every gate.
祭司和利未人穿著禮服，按支派站立辦理以色列主神的工，照摩西書上所載的；守門的也各守自己的門。
7:10
Et egerunt filii Israël cum his qui erant ex captivitate, illud Phase quartadecima luna mensis primi, quando sanctificati sunt sacerdotes et Levitæ.
And the children of Israel that came out of the captivity held the passover the fourteenth day of the first month, when the priests and the Levites were sanctified together,
那些從被擄之地回來的以色列子孫，在正月十四日守逾越節，因為祭司和利未人都一同潔淨了自己。
7:11
Omnes filii captivitatis non sunt simul sanctificati, quia Levitæ omnes simul sanctificati sunt.
and all those who were of the captivity; for they were sanctified. For the Levites were all sanctified together,
被擄回來的人雖然不是個個都潔淨了自己，但利未人卻是個個一同潔淨了的。
7:12
Et immolaverunt Phase universi filii captivitatis, et fratribus suis sacerdotibus, et sibimetipsis.
and they offered the passover for all them of the captivity, and for their kindred the priests, and for themselves.
他們為一切被擄回來的人、為作祭司的弟兄，並為自己宰了逾越節的羊羔。
7:13
Et manducaverunt filii Israël, qui erant ex captivitate omnes qui remanserant ab omnibus execrationibus gentium terræ quærentes Dominum,
And the children of Israel that came out of the captivity did eat, even all those who had separated themselves from the abominations of the heathen of the land, and sought the Lord.
那些從被擄之地回來的以色列子孫，凡離棄那地列國可憎之事、尋求主的人，都喫了。
7:14
et celebraverunt diem festum azymorum septem diebus epulantes in conspectu Domini,
And they kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days, making merry before the Lord,
他們又歡歡喜喜地在主面前守了無酵節七天，
7:15
quoniam convertit consilium regis Assyriorum in eos, confortare manus eorum ad opera Domini Dei Israël.
for that he had turned the counsel of the king of Assyria toward them, to strengthen their hands in the works of the Lord, the God of Israel.
因為主使亞述王的心意轉向他們，堅固他們的手去辦以色列主神的工。
