Hæc dicit Dominus : Ego eduxi populum istum de servitute , quibus mandata dedi per pueros meos prophetas , quos audire noluerunt , sed irrita fecerunt mea consilia .
Thus says the Lord: I brought this people out of bondage, and gave them commandments through my servants the prophets, whom they would not hear, but made my counsels void.
主如此說:我領這子民出了為奴之家,藉著我的僕人眾先知賜給他們誡命,他們卻不肯聽從,反倒使我的籌算歸於無有。
2:2
Mater quæ eos generavit , dicit illis , Ite filii , quia ego vidua sum et derelicta .
The mother who bore them says to them: Go, my children, for I am a widow and forsaken.
生養他們的母親對他們說:兒女啊,你們去吧,因為我是寡婦,又被撇棄了。
2:3
Educavi vos cum lætitia , et amisi vos cum luctu et tristitia , quoniam peccastis coram Domino Deo vestro , et quod malum est coram eo , fecistis .
I brought you up with gladness, and have lost you with grief and sorrow, because you sinned before the Lord your God, and did what is evil in his sight.
我歡歡喜喜地養大你們,如今卻憂傷悲痛地失去你們,因為你們得罪了耶和華你們的神,行了他眼中看為惡的事。
2:4
Modo autem quid faciam vobis ? Ego vidua sum et derelicta : ite filii , et petite a Domino misericordiam .
But now, what shall I do for you? I am a widow and forsaken. Go, my children, and ask mercy of the Lord.
現在我要為你們作甚麼呢?我是寡婦,又被撇棄了。兒女啊,你們去向主求憐憫吧。
2:5
Ego autem te pater testem invoco super matrem filiorum , qui noluerunt testamentum meum servare ,
And I call upon you, O Father, as a witness against the mother of these children, who would not keep my covenant,
父啊,我呼求你作見證,控告這些兒女的母親,因她不肯謹守我的約,
2:6
ut des eis confusionem , et matrem eorum in direptionem , ne generatio eorum fiat .
that you may bring confusion upon them, and their mother to plundering, that their offspring may not continue.
求你使他們蒙羞,使他們的母親遭受擄掠,叫他們的後裔不得繁衍。
2:7
Dispergantur in gentes nomina eorum , deleantur a terra : quoniam spreverunt sacramentum meum .
Let their names be scattered among the nations, let them be blotted out from the earth; for they have despised my covenant.
願他們的名分散在列國中,從地上塗抹;因為他們藐視了我的聖約。
2:8
Væ tibi Assur , qui abscondis iniquos penes te . Gens mala , memorare quid fecerim Sodomæ et Gomorrhæ ,
Woe to you, Assur, who hide the wicked within you. O evil nation, remember what I did to Sodom and Gomorrah,
亞述啊,你有禍了,你竟在你中間藏匿惡人。惡邦啊,當記念我向所多瑪和蛾摩拉所行的,
2:9
quorum terra jacet in piceis glebis et aggeribus cinerum : sic dabo eos , qui me non audierunt , dicit Dominus omnipotens .
whose land lies in lumps of pitch and heaps of ashes. So will I deal with those who have not heard me, says the Lord Almighty.
那地如今滿是瀝青的土塊和成堆的灰燼。我也要這樣對待那些不聽從我的人,這是全能的主說的。
2:10
Hæc dicit Dominus ad Esdram , Nuncia populo meo , quoniam dabo eis regnum Jerusalem , quod daturus eram Israël .
Thus says the Lord to Esdras: Announce to my people that I will give them the kingdom of Jerusalem, which I was about to give to Israel.
主對以斯得拉如此說:你要向我的子民宣告,我要把耶路撒冷的國賜給他們,就是我本要賜給以色列的。
2:11
Et sumam mihi gloriam illorum , et dabo eis tabernacula æterna , quæ præparaveram illis .
And I will take to myself the glory of those others, and give to these people the eternal dwellings which I had prepared for them.
我要把那些人的榮耀歸於我自己,並把我為這民所豫備的永遠帳幕賜給他們。
2:12
Lignum vitæ erit illis in odore unguenti , et non laborabunt , neque fatigabuntur .
The tree of life shall be to them for a fragrance of ointment, and they shall neither labour nor grow weary.
生命樹必如香膏的馨香歸與他們,他們不至勞碌,也不至睏乏。
2:13
Ite , et accipietis . Rogate vobis dies paucos , ut immorentur . Jam paratum est vobis regnum : vigilate .
Go, and you shall receive. Ask for yourselves but a few days, that they may be shortened. The kingdom is already prepared for you: be watchful.
你們去,必有所得。只當為自己求那短少的日子,使日期得以縮短。國度已經為你們豫備好了:你們要儆醒。
2:14
Testare cælum et terram . Contrivi enim malum , et creavi bonum , quia vivo ego , dicit Dominus .
Call heaven and earth to witness: for I have crushed evil, and created good, because I live, says the Lord.
你們要呼天喚地作見證:因為我已粉碎了惡,又創造了善,我指著我的永生起誓,這是主說的。
2:15
Mater amplectere filios tuos , educa illos in lætitia . Sicut columba confirma pedes eorum : quoniam te elegi , dicit Dominus .
O mother, embrace your children, bring them up with gladness. Strengthen their feet like a dove's; for I have chosen you, says the Lord.
母親啊,要擁抱你的兒女,歡歡喜喜地養育他們。當如鴿子般堅固他們的腳步;因為我揀選了你,這是主說的。
2:16
Et resuscitabo mortuos de locis suis , et de monumentis educam illos , quoniam cognovi nomen meum in Israël .
And I will raise up the dead from their places, and bring them out of their tombs, because I have known my name in Israel.
我要從他們的安息之處使死人復活,從墳墓中領他們出來,因為我已在以色列中認識了我的名。
2:17
Noli timere mater filiorum : quoniam te elegi , dicit Dominus .
Fear not, O mother of children; for I have chosen you, says the Lord.
兒女的母親啊,不要懼怕;因為我揀選了你,這是主說的。
2:18
Mittam tibi adiutorium pueros meos Isaiam , et Jeremiam , ad quorum consilium sanctificavi , et paravi tibi arbores duodecim gravatas variis fructibus ,
I will send to your aid my servants Isaiah and Jeremiah, by whose counsel I have sanctified you, and I have prepared for you twelve trees laden with various fruits,
我要差遣我的僕人以賽亞和耶利米來幫助你,我已藉他們的籌算將你分別為聖;我又為你豫備了十二棵結著各樣果子的樹,

et totidem fontes fluentes lac et mel : et montes immensos septem , habentes rosam et lilium , in quibus gaudio implebo filios tuos .
and as many fountains flowing with milk and honey, and seven mighty mountains bearing the rose and the lily, in which I will fill your children with joy.
並有許多湧流奶與蜜的泉源,又有七座巍峨高山,長著玫瑰與百合,我要在那裡使你的兒女滿心歡樂。
2:20
Viduam justifica , pupillo judica , egenti da , orphanum tuere , nudum vesti ,
Vindicate the widow, judge for the orphan, give to the needy, defend the fatherless, clothe the naked,
你要為寡婦伸冤,為孤兒辨屈,賙濟窮乏的,保護無父的,給赤身的穿衣,
2:21
confractum et debilem cura , claudum irridere noli , tutare mancum , et cæcum ad visionem claritatis meæ admitte .
care for the broken and the weak, do not mock the lame, protect the maimed, and admit the blind to the vision of my brightness.
扶持殘廢軟弱的,不可譏笑瘸腿的,要看顧傷殘的,並使瞎眼的得見我榮光的異象。
2:22
Senem et juvenem intra muros tuos serva :
Keep the old and the young within your walls.
要將老者與少者護衛在你的城牆之內。
2:23
mortuos ubi inveneris , signans commenda sepulchro , et dabo tibi primam sessionem in resurrectione mea .
Wherever you find the dead, mark them and commend them to the grave, and I will give you the first seat in my resurrection.
你無論在何處遇見死人,都要為他作記號,安葬在墳墓裡,我必在我的復活中賜你首位。
2:24
Pausa et quiesce populus meus , quia veniet requies tua .
Pause and be still, my people, for your rest shall come.
我的子民哪,要停歇安靜,因為你的安息必要來到。

Nutrix bona nutri filios tuos , confirma pedes eorum .
O good nurse, nourish your children, strengthen their feet.
善良的乳母啊,要餵養你的兒女,堅固他們的腳步。

Servos quos tibi dedi , nemo ex eis interiet : eos ego enim requiram de numero tuo .
Of the servants whom I have given you, none of them shall perish; for I will require them again from your number.
我所賜給你的僕人,沒有一個會滅亡;因為我必從你的數目中追討他們。
2:27
Noli fatigari . Cum enim venerit dies pressuræ et angustiæ , alii plorabunt : et tristes erunt : tu autem hilaris et copiosa eris .
Do not be weary. For when the day of pressure and distress comes, others shall weep and be sorrowful, but you shall be cheerful and abounding.
你不要疲乏。因為當患難窘迫的日子來到時,別人必哀哭悲傷,惟你卻必歡喜豐盛。
2:28
Zelabunt gentes , et nil adversus te poterunt , dicit Dominus .
The nations shall be envious, yet they shall be able to do nothing against you, says the Lord.
列國必嫉妒你,卻不能加害於你,這是主說的。
2:29
Manus meæ tegent te , ne filii tui gehennam videant .
My hands shall cover you, that your children may not see Gehenna.
我的雙手必遮蓋你,免得你的兒女看見地獄。
2:30
Jucundare mater cum filiis tuis , quia ego te eripiam , dicit Dominus .
Rejoice, O mother, with your children, for I will deliver you, says the Lord.
母親啊,要與你的兒女一同歡樂,因為我必拯救你,這是主說的。
2:31
Filios tuos dormientes memorare , quoniam ego eos educam de lateribus terræ , et misericordiam cum illis faciam : quoniam misericors sum , dicit Dominus omnipotens .
Remember your children that sleep, for I will bring them up from the sides of the earth, and will show mercy to them; for I am merciful, says the Lord Almighty.
當記念你那些睡了的兒女,因為我必從地的深處領他們出來,並向他們施憐憫;因為我是滿有憐憫的,這是全能的主說的。
2:32
Amplectere natos tuos usque dum venio , et præstem illis misericordiam : quoniam exuberant fontes mei , et gratia mea non deficiet .
Embrace your children until I come, and show them mercy; for my fountains overflow, and my grace shall not fail.
當擁抱你的兒女,直到我來,並向他們施憐憫;因為我的泉源滿溢,我的恩典必不斷絕。
2:33
Ego Esdras præceptum accepi a Domino in monte Oreb , ut irem ad Israël : ad quos cum venirem , reprobaverunt me , et respuerunt mandatum Domini :
I, Esdras, received a charge from the Lord on Mount Horeb, that I should go to Israel; but when I came to them, they rejected me, and spurned the commandment of the Lord.
我以斯得拉在何烈山從主領了命令,要往以色列去;我到他們那裡的時候,他們卻棄絕我,藐視主的誡命。
2:34
Ideoque vobis dico gentes , quæ auditis , et intelligitis , Expectate pastorem vestrum , requiem æternitatis dabit vobis : quoniam in proximo est ille , qui in fine sæculi adveniet .
Therefore I say to you, O nations who hear and understand: Wait for your Shepherd; he will give you the rest of eternity; for he who is to come at the end of the age is near at hand.
因此,那聽見並明白的列國啊,我對你們說:要等候你們的牧者;他必賜你們永世的安息;因為那要在末世來臨的,已經臨近了。
2:35
Parati estote ad præmia regni , quia lux perpetua lucebit vobis per æternitatem temporis .
Be ready for the rewards of the kingdom, for perpetual light shall shine upon you throughout the eternity of time.
你們要豫備好承受國度的賞賜,因為永恆的光必在無窮的歲月中照耀你們。
2:36
Fugite umbram sæculi hujus : accipite jucunditatem gloriæ vestræ . Ego testor palam salvatorem meum .
Flee the shadow of this age; receive the gladness of your glory. I openly bear witness to my Saviour.
你們要逃離這世代的陰影;要領受你們榮耀的喜樂。我公開為我的救主作見證。
2:37
Commendatum donum accipite et jucundamini , gratias agentes ei qui vos ad cælestia regna vocavit .
Receive the gift entrusted to you and be glad, giving thanks to him who has called you to the heavenly kingdom.
你們要領受那託付給你們的恩賜並且歡喜,感謝那召你們進入天國的主。
2:38
Surgite et state et videte numerum signatorum in convivio Domini .
Arise and stand, and behold the number of those who are sealed at the banquet of the Lord.
你們要起來站立,觀看在主的筵席上受了印記之人的數目。
2:39
Qui se de umbra sæculi transtulerunt , splendidas tunicas a Domino acceperunt .
Those who have removed themselves from the shadow of the age have received splendid robes from the Lord.
那些離開了世代陰影的人,已從主領受了華美的衣袍。
2:40
Recipe Sion numerum tuum , et conclude candidatos tuos qui legem Domini compleverunt .
Receive your number, O Zion, and enclose your robed ones who have fulfilled the law of the Lord.
錫安哪,要接納你的數目,圈定你那些穿白衣、已成全了主律法的人。
2:41
Filiorum tuorum , quos optabas , plenus est numerus . Roga imperium Domini ut sanctificetur populus tuus , qui vocatus est ab initio .
The number of your children whom you longed for is full. Entreat the dominion of the Lord that your people may be sanctified, who have been called from the beginning.
你所渴望的兒女,數目已經滿了。求你向主的權能祈求,使你的子民得以分別為聖,就是那從起初蒙召的子民。
2:42
Ego Esdras vidi in monte Sion turbam magnam , quam numerare non potui , et omnes canticis collaudabant Dominum .
I, Esdras, saw on Mount Zion a great multitude, which I could not number, and all of them were praising the Lord with songs.
我以斯得拉在錫安山上看見一大羣人,多得無法計數,他們都用歌唱讚美主。
2:43
Et in medio eorum erat juvenis statura celsus , eminentior omnibus illis , et singulis eorum capitibus imponebat coronas , et magis exaltabatur : Ego autem miraculo tenebar .
And in their midst was a young man of lofty stature, taller than all the rest, and on the head of each one he set a crown, and was the more exalted. But I was held in wonder.
在他們中間有一位身量高大的少年人,比眾人都高,他把冠冕戴在他們各人的頭上,自己也越發被高舉。我卻驚奇不已。
2:44
Tunc interrogavi angelum , et dixi : Qui sunt hi , Domine ?
Then I questioned the angel and said: Who are these, my lord?
於是我問那天使,說:我主啊,這些是誰呢?
2:45
Qui respondens dixit mihi : Hi sunt qui mortalem tunicam deposuerunt , et immortalem sumpserunt , et confessi sunt nomen Dei : Modo coronantur , et accipiunt palmas .
He answered and said to me: These are they who have laid aside the mortal garment, and put on the immortal, and have confessed the name of God. Now they are crowned, and receive palms.
他回答我說:這些就是脫去了必死衣裳、穿上不死衣裳的人,他們承認了神的名。如今他們得了冠冕,領了棕櫚枝。
2:46
Et dixi angelo : Ille juvenis , quis est , qui eis coronas imponit , et palmas in manus tradit ?
And I said to the angel: Who is that young man who sets crowns upon them and delivers palms into their hands?
我又問那天使:那位給他們戴冠冕、把棕櫚枝交在他們手中的少年人是誰呢?
2:47
Et respondens dixit mihi : Ipse est filius Dei , quem in sæculo confessi sunt : ego autem magnificare eos cœpi , qui fortiter pro nomine Domini steterunt .
And he answered and said to me: He is the Son of God, whom they confessed in the world; and I have begun to magnify those who stood valiantly for the name of the Lord.
他回答我說:他就是神的兒子,是他們在世上所承認的;我已開始尊崇那些為主的名勇敢站立的人。
2:48
Tunc dixit mihi angelus : Vade , annuncia populo meo , qualia et quanta mirabilia Domini Dei vidisti .
Then the angel said to me: Go, announce to my people how great and how many wonders of the Lord God you have seen.
那天使就對我說:你去,向我的子民宣告你所看見的主神是何等大、何等多的奇事。
