λόγοι Νεεμια υἱοῦ Αχαλια καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν μηνὶ Χασεηλου ἔτους εἰκοστοῦ καὶ ἐγὼ ἤμην ἐν Σουσαν αβιρα

The words of Neemias son of Achalia. And it came to pass in the month Chaseelou, in the twentieth year, and I was in Sousan Abira.

亞哈利亞的兒子尼希米的言語。事情發生在二十年的哈西盧月，那時我在蘇珊亞比拉。

1:2

καὶ ἦλθεν Ανανι εἷς ἀπὸ ἀδελφῶν μου αὐτὸς καὶ ἄνδρες Ιουδα καὶ ἠρώτησα αὐτοὺς περὶ τῶν σωθέντων οἳ κατελείφθησαν ἀπὸ τῆς αἰχμαλωσίας καὶ περὶ Ιερουσαλημ

And Anani came, one of my brothers, he and men of Iouda; and I asked them concerning those who had been saved, who were left over from the captivity, and concerning Ierousalem.

我的弟兄中有一個名叫哈拿尼的來了，他和幾個猶大人同來；我就詢問他們關於那些得救的人，就是從擄掠中被留下來的人，也詢問關於耶路撒冷的事。

1:3

καὶ εἴποσαν πρός με οἱ καταλειπόμενοι οἱ καταλειφθέντες ἀπὸ τῆς αἰχμαλωσίας ἐκεῖ ἐν τῇ χώρᾳ ἐν πονηρίᾳ μεγάλῃ καὶ ἐν ὀνειδισμῷ καὶ τείχη Ιερουσαλημ καθῃρημένα καὶ αἱ πύλαι αὐτῆς ἐνεπρήσθησαν ἐν πυρί

And they said to me: Those remaining, who were left over from the captivity, are there in the country in great misery and in reproach; and the walls of Ierousalem have been torn down, and its gates were burned with fire.

他們對我說：那些殘存的、從擄掠中被留下來的人，在那地方處於大苦難和羞辱之中；耶路撒冷的城牆被拆毀了，城門也被火焚燒了。

1:4

καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ ἀκοῦσαί με τοὺς λόγους τούτους ἐκάθισα καὶ ἔκλαυσα καὶ ἐπένθησα ἡμέρας καὶ ἤμην νηστεύων καὶ προσευχόμενος ἐνώπιον θεοῦ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ

And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept and mourned for days, and I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven.

我聽見這些話的時候，就坐下哭泣，悲哀了多日，禁食禱告在天上的神面前。

1:5

καὶ εἶπα μὴ δή κύριε ὁ θεὸς τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ὁ ἰσχυρὸς ὁ μέγας καὶ ὁ φοβερός φυλάσσων τὴν διαθήκην καὶ τὸ ἔλεος τοῖς ἀγαπῶσιν αὐτὸν καὶ τοῖς φυλάσσουσιν τὰς ἐντολὰς αὐτοῦ

And I said: Not so, I pray, O Lord, God of heaven, the strong, the great and the fearful one, who keeps the covenant and the mercy for those who love him and for those who keep his commandments.

我說：不要這樣啊，求你，主，天上的神，那大能的、至大的、可畏的，向愛他的人和守他誡命的人持守約與憐憫的。

1:6

ἔστω δὴ τὸ οὖς σου προσέχον καὶ οἱ ὀφθαλμοί σου ἀνεῳγμένοι τοῦ ἀκοῦσαι προσευχὴν δούλου σου ἣν ἐγὼ προσεύχομαι ἐνώπιόν σου σήμερον ἡμέραν καὶ νύκτα περὶ υἱῶν Ισραηλ δούλων σου καὶ ἐξαγορεύω ἐπὶ ἁμαρτίαις υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἃς ἡμάρτομέν σοι καὶ ἐγὼ καὶ ὁ οἶκος πατρός μου ἡμάρτομεν

Let your ear now be attentive and your eyes opened, to hear the prayer of your servant which I pray before you today, day and night, concerning the sons of Israel your servants; and I confess concerning the sins of the sons of Israel which we have sinned against you: both I and the house of my father have sinned.

求你側耳垂聽，睜開你的眼睛，聽你僕人的禱告，就是我今日晝夜在你面前，為你僕人以色列子孫所禱告的；我也為以色列子孫所犯得罪你的諸般罪孽認罪：我和我父的家都犯了罪。

1:7

διαλύσει διελύσαμεν πρὸς σὲ καὶ οὐκ ἐφυλάξαμεν τὰς ἐντολὰς καὶ τὰ προστάγματα καὶ τὰ κρίματα ἃ ἐνετείλω τῷ Μωυσῇ παιδί σου

We have utterly broken faith toward you, and we have not kept the commandments and the ordinances and the judgments which you commanded to Moses your servant.

我們向你大大背約，沒有遵守你藉你僕人摩西所吩咐的誡命、律例和典章。

1:8

μνήσθητι δὴ τὸν λόγον ὃν ἐνετείλω τῷ Μωυσῇ παιδί σου λέγων ὑμεῖς ἐὰν ἀσυνθετήσητε ἐγὼ διασκορπιῶ ὑμᾶς ἐν τοῖς λαοῖς

Remember now the word which you commanded to Moses your servant, saying: If you break faith, I will scatter you among the peoples;

求你記念你藉你僕人摩西所吩咐的話，說：你們若不守信，我必把你們分散在萬民中；

1:9

καὶ ἐὰν ἐπιστρέψητε πρός με καὶ φυλάξητε τὰς ἐντολάς μου καὶ ποιήσητε αὐτάς ἐὰν ᾖ ἡ διασπορὰ ὑμῶν ἀπ’ ἄκρου τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἐκεῖθεν συνάξω αὐτοὺς καὶ εἰσάξω αὐτοὺς εἰς τὸν τόπον ὃν ἐξελεξάμην κατασκηνῶσαι τὸ ὄνομά μου ἐκεῖ

and if you turn back to me and keep my commandments and do them, then though your dispersion be at the end of heaven, from there I will gather them and bring them into the place which I chose to make my name dwell there.

你們若歸向我，謹守我的誡命並去遵行，那時你們分散的人即使在天的盡頭，我也必從那裡把他們招聚起來，領他們到我所揀選使我名居住的地方。

1:10

καὶ αὐτοὶ παῖδές σου καὶ λαός σου οὓς ἐλυτρώσω ἐν δυνάμει σου τῇ μεγάλῃ καὶ ἐν τῇ χειρί σου τῇ κραταιᾷ

And they are your servants and your people, whom you redeemed by your great power and by your mighty hand.

他們是你的僕人、你的子民，是你用你的大能和你大力的手所救贖的。

1:11

μὴ δή κύριε ἀλλ’ ἔστω τὸ οὖς σου προσέχον εἰς τὴν προσευχὴν τοῦ δούλου σου καὶ εἰς τὴν προσευχὴν παίδων σου τῶν θελόντων φοβεῖσθαι τὸ ὄνομά σου καὶ εὐόδωσον δὴ τῷ παιδί σου σήμερον καὶ δὸς αὐτὸν εἰς οἰκτιρμοὺς ἐνώπιον τοῦ ἀνδρὸς τούτου καὶ ἐγὼ ἤμην οἰνοχόος τῷ βασιλεῖ

Not so, I pray, O Lord; but let your ear be attentive to the prayer of your servant and to the prayer of your servants who are willing to fear your name; and prosper your servant now, today, and grant him compassion before this man. And I was cupbearer to the king.

不要這樣啊，主，求你側耳垂聽你僕人的禱告，和你眾僕人的禱告，就是那些甘願敬畏你名之人的禱告。求你今日使你僕人亨通，使他在這人面前蒙憐憫。那時我是王的司酒。
