44:1
αἰνέσωμεν δὴ ἄνδρας ἐνδόξους καὶ τοὺς πατέρας ἡμῶν τῇ γενέσει
Let us now praise famous men, And our fathers that became the father of us.
如今讓我們頌讚那些有名望的人，和我們歷代的列祖。
44:2
πολλὴν δόξαν ἔκτισεν ὁ κύριος τὴν μεγαλωσύνην αὐτοῦ ἀπ’ αἰῶνος
The Lord manifested in them great glory, Even his mighty power from the beginning.
主在他們身上彰顯了大榮耀，這是祂從亙古而來的尊大。
44:3
κυριεύοντες ἐν ταῖς βασιλείαις αὐτῶν καὶ ἄνδρες ὀνομαστοὶ ἐν δυνάμει βουλεύοντες ἐν συνέσει αὐτῶν ἀπηγγελκότες ἐν προφητείαις
Such as did bear rule in their kingdoms, And were men renowned for their power, Giving counsel by their understanding, Such as have brought tidings in prophecies:
他們在自己的國中掌權，是以才能著稱的人；他們憑著聰明出謀獻策，又藉預言宣告信息；
44:4
ἡγούμενοι λαοῦ ἐν διαβουλίοις καὶ συνέσει γραμματείας λαοῦ σοφοὶ λόγοι ἐν παιδείᾳ αὐτῶν
Leaders of the people by their counsels, And by their understanding men of learning for the people; Wise were their words in their instruction:
他們以智謀作百姓的領袖，憑著對典籍的見識教導民眾，他們所受的教訓中滿有智慧的言語；
44:5
ἐκζητοῦντες μέλη μουσικῶν καὶ διηγούμενοι ἔπη ἐν γραφῇ
Such as sought out musical tunes, And set forth verses in writing:
他們又作曲調，又把詩句寫下流傳；
44:6
ἄνδρες πλούσιοι κεχορηγημένοι ἰσχύι εἰρηνεύοντες ἐν κατοικίαις αὐτῶν
Rich men furnished with ability, Living peaceably in their habitations:
他們是富有的人，滿有能力，平安住在自己的家中。
44:7
πάντες οὗτοι ἐν γενεαῖς ἐδοξάσθησαν καὶ ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις αὐτῶν καύχημα
All these were honored in their generations, And were a glory in their days.
這一切人在他們的世代都受人尊崇，在他們的日子也成為人的誇耀。
44:8
εἰσὶν αὐτῶν οἳ κατέλιπον ὄνομα τοῦ ἐκδιηγήσασθαι ἐπαίνους
There be of them, that have left a name behind them, To declare their praises.
他們中間有些人留下了名聲，使人傳述他們的稱讚。
44:9
καὶ εἰσὶν ὧν οὐκ ἔστιν μνημόσυνον καὶ ἀπώλοντο ὡς οὐχ ὑπάρξαντες καὶ ἐγένοντο ὡς οὐ γεγονότες καὶ τὰ τέκνα αὐτῶν μετ’ αὐτούς
And some there be, which have no memorial; Who are perished as though they had not been, And are become as though they had not been born; And their children after them.
也有些人毫無紀念，消逝如同未曾存在；他們成了彷彿未曾出生的人，他們的兒女也接續他們如此。
44:10
ἀλλ’ ἢ οὗτοι ἄνδρες ἐλέους ὧν αἱ δικαιοσύναι οὐκ ἐπελήσθησαν
But these were men of mercy, Whose righteous deeds have not been forgotten.
但這些人卻是有憐憫的人，他們的義行不被忘記。
44:11
μετὰ τοῦ σπέρματος αὐτῶν διαμενεῖ ἀγαθὴ κληρονομία ἔκγονα αὐτῶν
With their seed shall remain continually a good inheritance; Their children are within the covenants.
美好的產業必與他們的後裔長存，他們的子孫也是如此。
44:12
ἐν ταῖς διαθήκαις ἔστη τὸ σπέρμα αὐτῶν καὶ τὰ τέκνα αὐτῶν δῑ αὐτούς
Their seed stands fast, And their children for their sakes.
他們的後裔在諸約中堅立，他們的兒女也因他們的緣故得以站立。
44:13
ἕως αἰῶνος μενεῖ σπέρμα αὐτῶν καὶ ἡ δόξα αὐτῶν οὐκ ἐξαλειφθήσεται
Their seed shall remain forever, And their glory shall not be blotted out.
他們的後裔必存到永遠，他們的榮耀也必不被塗抹。
44:14
τὰ σώματα αὐτῶν ἐν εἰρήνῃ ἐτάφη καὶ τὸ ὄνομα αὐτῶν ζῇ εἰς γενεάς
Their bodies were buried in peace, And their name lives to all generations.
他們的身體平安地埋葬了，他們的名卻存到萬代。
44:15
σοφίαν αὐτῶν διηγήσονται λαοί καὶ τὸν ἔπαινον ἐξαγγέλλει ἐκκλησία
Peoples will declare their wisdom, And the congregation tells out their praise.
萬民必述說他們的智慧，會眾也必傳揚對他們的稱讚。
44:16
Ενωχ εὐηρέστησεν κυρίῳ καὶ μετετέθη ὑπόδειγμα μετανοίας ταῖς γενεαῖς
Enoch pleased the Lord, and was translated, Being an example of repentance to all generations.
以諾蒙主喜悅，被取去了，成為歷代悔改的榜樣。
44:17
Νωε εὑρέθη τέλειος δίκαιος ἐν καιρῷ ὀργῆς ἐγένετο ἀντάλλαγμα διὰ τοῦτον ἐγενήθη κατάλειμμα τῇ γῇ ὅτε ἐγένετο κατακλυσμός
Noah was found perfect and righteous; In the season of wrath he was taken in exchange for the world; Therefore was there left a remnant to the earth, When the flood came.
挪亞是完全的義人，在忿怒的時候作了贖價；因此地上得以存留餘種，當洪水來臨的時候。
44:18
διαθῆκαι αἰῶνος ἐτέθησαν πρὸς αὐτόν ἵνα μὴ ἐξαλειφθῇ κατακλυσμῷ πᾶσα σάρξ
Everlasting covenants were made with him, That all flesh should no more be blotted out by a flood.
永遠的約與他立定，使凡有血氣的不再被洪水滅絕。
44:19
Αβρααμ μέγας πατὴρ πλήθους ἐθνῶν καὶ οὐχ εὑρέθη ὅμοιος ἐν τῇ δόξῃ
Abraham was a great father of a multitude of nations; And there was none found like him in glory;
亞伯拉罕是多國之大父，在榮耀上無人能與他相比；
44:20
ὃς συνετήρησεν νόμον ὑψίστου καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν διαθήκῃ μετ’ αὐτοῦ ἐν σαρκὶ αὐτοῦ ἔστησεν διαθήκην καὶ ἐν πειρασμῷ εὑρέθη πιστός
Who kept the law of the Most High, And was taken into covenant with him: In his flesh he established the covenant; And when he was proved, he was found faithful.
他謹守至高者的律法，又與祂立約；他在肉身上立定了這約，在受試煉時被看為忠信。
44:21
διὰ τοῦτο ἐν ὅρκῳ ἔστησεν αὐτῷ ἐνευλογηθῆναι ἔθνη ἐν σπέρματι αὐτοῦ πληθῦναι αὐτὸν ὡς χοῦν τῆς γῆς καὶ ὡς ἄστρα ἀνυψῶσαι τὸ σπέρμα αὐτοῦ καὶ κατακληρονομῆσαι αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ θαλάσσης ἕως θαλάσσης καὶ ἀπὸ ποταμοῦ ἕως ἄκρου τῆς γῆς
Therefore he assured him by an oath, That the nations should be blessed in his seed; That he would multiply him as the dust of the earth, And exalt his seed as the stars, And cause them to inherit from sea to sea, And from the River to the utmost part of the earth.
因此，主起誓應許他，要使萬國因他的後裔得福，使他的後裔增多如地上的塵土，又高舉如同星辰，並使他們承受產業，從這海到那海，從大河直到地極。
44:22
καὶ ἐν τῷ Ισαακ ἔστησεν οὕτως δῑ Αβρααμ τὸν πατέρα αὐτοῦ
In Isaac also did he establish likewise, for Abraham his father’s sake, The blessing of all men, and the covenant:
祂又在以撒身上同樣立定，是為著他父亞伯拉罕的緣故；
44:23
εὐλογίαν πάντων ἀνθρώπων καὶ διαθήκην κατέπαυσεν ἐπὶ κεφαλὴν Ιακωβ ἐπέγνω αὐτὸν ἐν εὐλογίαις αὐτοῦ καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτῷ ἐν κληρονομίᾳ καὶ διέστειλεν μερίδας αὐτοῦ ἐν φυλαῖς ἐμέρισεν δέκα δύο
And he made it rest upon the head of Jacob; He acknowledged him in his blessings, And gave to him by inheritance, And divided his portions; Among twelve tribes did he part them.
就是賜給萬人的福，以及那約。祂使這約安息在雅各的頭上，在祝福中認定他，將產業賜給他，分定他的份，把它分給十二支派。
