9:1

እመኒ፡ ዘውስተ፡ ሰማይ፡ ወእመኒ፡ ዘውስተ፡ ምድር፡ ወእመኒ፡ ዘመንፈስ፡ ወእመኒ፡ ዘሥጋ፡ ወኵሉ፡ ሎቱ፡ ወኵሉ፡ ይቀውም፡ በሥርዓቱ።

無論是天上的，或地上的，無論是屬靈的，或屬肉的——萬有都是祂的，凡物都按祂的定規而立。

Whether it be what is in heaven, or what is on earth, whether of spirit or of flesh—all things are His, and all things stand established in His order.

9:2

ወአልቦ፡ ዘይትዓደው፡ እምወሰኑ፡ ወእምትእዛዙ፡ ለፈጣሬ፡ ኵሉ፡ ዓሠረ፡ ንስር፡ ዘውስተ፡ ሰማይ፡ ወውእቱ፡ ይኤዝዝ፡ ምሕዋሪሁ፡ ኀበ፡ ፈቀደ።

沒有一物越過那造萬物之主的界限和命令。就是天上鷹飛的蹤跡——祂也指引它隨自己所願的方向飛去。

And there is nothing that transgresses His bound and His command, who created all things. Even the track of the eagle in the heavens—He directs its course wherever He wills.

9:3

ወፍኖተ፡ አርዌ፡ ምድር፡ ውስተ፡ ኰኵሕ፡ ውእቱ፡ ይኤዝዝ፡ ኀበ፡ ፈቀደ፡ ወፍኖተ፡ ሐመር፡ በውስተ፡ ባሕር፡ አልቦ፡ ዘየአምር፡ ፍኖቶ፡ ዘእንበለ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ባሕቲቱ።

地上之蛇在磐石上的路徑，祂也指引到祂所願的地方；船在海中的航路——除了神以外，無人知道它的去向。

And the path of the serpent of the earth upon the rock He directs wherever He wills; and the path of a ship upon the sea—there is none who knows its way except God alone.

9:4

ወመኑ፡ ዘየአምር፡ ምሕዋረ፡ ነፍሰ፡ እምከመ፡ ወፅዓት፡ እምሥጋሃ፡ ዘእንበለ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ባሕቲቱ፡ እመኒ፡ ነፍሰ፡ ጽድቅ፡ ወእመኒ፡ ነፍሰ፡ ኃጥእ።

靈魂離開肉身以後所行的路徑，除了神以外有誰知道呢？無論是義人的魂，或是罪人的魂。

And who knows the path of the soul, when it goes forth from its flesh, except God alone—whether it be a righteous soul or a sinful soul?

9:5

ወኀበ፡ ተዓይልሂ፡ እመሂ፡ ዘውስተ፡ ገዳም፡ ወእመኒ፡ ዘውስተ፡ አድባር፡ ወእመኒ፡ ከመ፡ ዖፍ፡ ወእመኒ፡ ከመ፡ ጠል፡ አርሞንዔም፡ ዘይወርድ፡ ውስተ፡ መንትዕተ፡ ደብር።

它要轉往何處——或在曠野，或在羣山之上；或像飛鳥，或像從天降下、落在山坡上的甘露；

And to what place it turns—whether it be in the wilderness, or upon the mountains; or whether like a bird, or like the dew of heaven that descends upon the slope of a mountain;

9:6

ወእመኒ፡ ከመ፡ ነፋሰ፡ ዓውሎ፡ ወእመኒ፡ ከመ፡ መብረቅ፡ ዘያረትዕ፡ ፍናዊሁ።

或像深處的旋風，或像那使自己路徑成直的閃電；

or whether like the deep whirlwind, or like the lightning that makes its own path straight;

9:7

ወእመኒ፡ ከመ፡ ከዋክብት፡ ዘያዐርሁ፡ በውስተ፡ ቀላይ፡ ወእመኒ፡ ከመ፡ ኆፃ፡ ዘድንጋገ፡ ባሕር፡ ይጠሐሉ፡ ውስተ፡ ቀላይ።

或像在深淵中閃耀的星辰，或像堆積在深處、海邊的沙；

or whether like the stars that shine in the deep, or like the sand on the seashore that is heaped up in the deep;

9:8

ወእመኒ፡ ከመ፡ ዕብነ፡ አድማስ፡ ሱርርት፡ ውስተ፡ ማዕምቅት፡ ባሕር፡ ወእመኑ፡ ከመ፡ ዕፅ፡ እንተ፡ ትክልት፡ ኀበ፡ ሙኀዘ፡ ማይ፡ ወትሁብ፡ ፍሬሃ፡ ሠናየ።

或像在海的深處被立穩的根基石，或像栽在水溝旁、結出佳美果子的樹；

or whether like a foundation stone fixed firm in the depth of the sea, or like a tree planted by a watercourse, that gives its goodly fruit;

9:9

ወእመኒ፡ ከመ፡ ዕፀ፡ ባሕሩሰ፡ ዘያውዕዮ፡ ሐሩረ፡ ፀሐይ፡ ወይነሥኦ፡ ነፋሰ፡ ወይውሰደ፡ ኀበ፡ ካልዕ፡ መካን፡ ኀበ፡ ዘኢበቈለ፡ ወኢይትረከብ፡ ዓሠሩ።

或像海邊的蘆葦，被太陽的炎熱所烤焦，又被風捲起，帶到它未曾生長的別處，連蹤跡也尋不見？

or whether like the reed of the sea, which the heat of the sun scorches, and the wind lifts up and carries to another place where it did not grow, and whose trace is not found?
