24:1
ወበመዋዕሊሁ፡ ዐርገ፡ ናቡክድናጾር፡ ንጉሠ፡ ባቢሎን፡ ውስተ፡ ውእቱ፡ ብሔር፡ ወተቀንየ፡ ሎቱ፡ ዮአቂም፡ ፫ዓመተ፡ ወእምዝ፡ አፅረረ፡ ወዐለዎ።
約雅敬年間，巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒上到 猶大；約雅敬服事他三年，然後背叛他。
In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant for three years. Then he turned and rebelled against him.
24:2
ወፈነዎሙ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለጸባኢተ፡ ሶርያ፡ ወለጸባኢተ፡ ሞአብ፡ ወለጸባኢተ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ዐሞን፡ ወፈነዎሙ፡ ብሔረ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ከመ፡ ይቅንይዎሙ፡ በከመ፡ ነበበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በእዶ፡ አግብርቲሁ፡ ነቢያት።
耶和華使迦勒底軍、亞蘭軍、摩押軍，和亞捫人的軍來攻擊約雅敬，毀滅猶大，正如耶和華藉他僕人眾先知所說的。
Yahweh sent against him bands of the Chaldeans, bands of the Syrians, bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to Yahweh’s word which he spoke by his servants the prophets.
24:3
ወባሕቱ፡ መዐቱ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ላዕለ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወከመ፡ ያውፅእ፡ እምቅድመ፡ ገጹ፡ በኀጢአተ፡ ምናሴ፡ ወኵሉ፡ ዘገብረ።
這禍臨到猶大人，誠然是耶和華所命的，要將他們從自己面前趕出，是因瑪拿西所犯的一切罪；
Surely at the commandment of Yahweh this came on Judah, to remove them out of his sight for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did,
24:4
ወቀተለ፡ ነፍሰ፡ ጻድቅ፡ ወመልኣ፡ ለኢየሩሳሌም፡ ደመ፡ ንጹሐ፡ ወአበየ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ተሣህሎቶሙ።
又因他流無辜人的血，充滿了耶路撒冷；耶和華決不肯赦免。
and also for the innocent blood that he shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and Yahweh would not pardon.
24:5
ወኵሉ፡ ነገሩ፡ ለዮአቄም፡ ወኵሉ፡ ዘገብረ፡ ናሁ፡ ዝውእቱ፡ ዘጽሑፍ፡ ውስተ፡ መጽሐፈ፡ ነቢያቲሆሙ፡ ለነገሥተ፡ ይሁዳ ።
約雅敬其餘的事，凡他所行的都寫在猶大列王記上。
Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and all that he did, aren’t they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
24:6
ወሰከበ፡ ኢዮአቄም፡ ምስለ፡ አበዊሁ፡ ወቀበርዎ፡ ውስተ፡ ገራሀተ፡ ዖዛ፡ ወነግሠ፡ ኢዮአቄም፡ ወልዱ፡ ህየንቴሁ።
約雅敬與他列祖同睡。他兒子約雅斤接續他作王。
So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers, and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his place.
24:7
ወኢደገመ፡ እንከ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ግብጽ፡ ወፂአ፡ እምነ፡ ብሔሩ፡ እስመ፡ አስተጋብአ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ባቢሎን፡ እምፈለገ፡ ግብጽ፡ እስከ፡ ፈለገ፡ አፍራጢስ፡ ወኵሎ፡ ዘንጉሠ፡ ግብጽ።
埃及王不再從他國中出來；因為巴比倫王將埃及王所管之地，從埃及小河直到幼發拉底河都奪去了。
The king of Egypt didn’t come out of his land any more; for the king of Babylon had taken, from the brook of Egypt to the river Euphrates, all that belonged to the king of Egypt.
24:8
ወ፲ወ፰ክረምቱ፡ ለኢዮአቂም፡ አመ፡ ይነግሥ፡ ወ፫አውራኀ፡ ነግሠ፡ በኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወስማ፡ ለእሙ፡ ኔስተ፡ ወለተ፡ ኤላናታን፡ እንተ፡ እምኢየሩሳሌም።
約雅斤登基的時候年十八歲，在耶路撒冷作王三個月。他母親名叫尼護施她，是耶路撒冷人以利拿單的女兒。
Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. His mother’s name was Nehushta the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.
24:9
ወገብረ፡ እኩየ፡ ቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ከመ፡ ኵሉ፡ ዘገብሩ፡ አበዊሁ።
約雅斤行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，效法他父親一切所行的。
He did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight, according to all that his father had done.
24:10
ወውእተ፡ አሚረ፡ ዐርገ፡ ናቡከደናጾር፡ ንጉሠ፡ ባቢሎን፡ ውስተ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወተጸወነት፡ ሀገር፡ ወተጸወኑ።
那時，巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的軍兵上到耶路撒冷，圍困城。
At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up to Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.
24:11
ወናቡከደነጾር፡ ንጉሠ፡ ባቢሎን፡ መጽአ፡ ኀበ፡ ሀገር፡ ይትቃተሎሙ፡ ምስለ፡ አሕዛቢሁ።
當他軍兵圍困城的時候，巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒就親自來了。
Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to the city while his servants were besieging it,
24:12
ወወፅአ፡ ኢዮአቄም፡ ንጉሠ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ኀባ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ባቢሎን፡ ምስለ፡ ደቂቁ፡ ወመላእክቲሁ፡ ወኅጽዋኒሁ፡ ወአኀዞ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ባቢሎን፡ ወአስተጋብአ፡ አመ፡ ፰ዓመተ፡ መንግሥቱ።
猶大王約雅斤和他母親、臣僕、首領、太監一同出城，投降巴比倫王；巴比倫王便拿住他。那時是巴比倫王第八年。
and Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon—he, his mother, his servants, his princes, and his officers; and the king of Babylon captured him in the eighth year of his reign.
24:13
ወአውፅአ፡ ኵሎ፡ መዛግብተ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወመዛግብተ፡ ቤተ፡ ንጉሥኒ፡ ወሰበረ፡ ኵሎ፡ ንዋየ፡ ወርቅ፡ ዘገብረ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ ንጉሠ፡ እስራኤል፡ ለቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በከመ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
巴比倫王將耶和華殿和王宮裏的寶物都拿去了，將以色列王所羅門所造耶和華殿裏的金器都毀壞了，正如耶和華所說的；
He carried out from there all the treasures of Yahweh’s house and the treasures of the king’s house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in Yahweh’s temple, as Yahweh had said.
24:14
ወአፍለሳ፡ ለኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወለኵሉ፡ መላእክቲሆሙ፡ ወዐበይቶሙ፡ ወጽኑዓኒሆሙ፡ ኵሎ፡ ፄዋሁ፡ ፼ወኵሎ፡ ኬነቶሙ፡ ወጸረብቶሙኒ፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘአትረፈ፡ ዘእንበለ፡ ቢጸ፡ ነዳያን።
又將耶路撒冷的眾民和眾首領，並所有大能的勇士，共一萬人，連一切木匠、鐵匠都擄了去；除了國中極貧窮的人以外，沒有剩下的；
He carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valor, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and the smiths. No one remained except the poorest people of the land.
24:15
ወአፍለሶ፡ ለኢዮአቄም፡ ባቢሎን፡ ወለእሙ፡ ለንጉሥ፡ ወአንስትያ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ወኅጽዋኒሁ፡ ወዐበይተ፡ ብሔር፡ እፍለሶሙ፡ ኵሎሙ፡ ባቢሎን።
並將約雅斤和王母、后妃、太監，與國中的大官，都從耶路撒冷擄到巴比倫去了；
He carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon, with the king’s mother, the king’s wives, his officers, and the chief men of the land. He carried them into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.
24:16
ወኵሎ፡ መላእክተ፡ ሰራዊቶሙ፡ ፸፻ብእሴ፡ ወኬነቶሙሰ፡ ወጸረብቶሙ፡ ፲፻ኵሎ፡ ጽኑዓነ፡ እለ፡ ይክሉ፡ ተቃትሎ፡ አፍለሶሙ፡ ለኵሎሙ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ውስተ፡ ባቢሎን።
又將一切勇士七千人和木匠、鐵匠一千人，都是能上陣的勇士，全擄到巴比倫去了。
All the men of might, even seven thousand, and the craftsmen and the smiths one thousand, all of them strong and fit for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.
24:17
ወእንገሦ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ባቢሎን፡ ለናታንያን፡ እኁሁ፡ ለአቡሁ፡ ህየንቴሁ፡ ወወለጠ፡ ስሞ፡ ሴዴቅያስ፡ ሰመዮ።
巴比倫王立約雅斤的叔叔瑪探雅代替他作王，給瑪探雅改名叫西底家。
The king of Babylon made Mattaniah, Jehoiachin’s father’s brother, king in his place, and changed his name to Zedekiah.
24:18
፳ወ፩ክረምቱ፡ ለሴዴቄያን፡ አመ፡ ይነግሥ፡ ወ፲ወ፩ክረምተ፡ ነግሠ፡ በኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወስማ፡ ለእሙ፡ አሚጠል፡ ወለተ፡ ኤርምያስ።
西底家登基的時候年二十一歲，在耶路撒冷作王十一年。他母親名叫哈慕她，是立拿人耶利米的女兒。
Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
24:19
ወገብረ፡ እኩየ፡ ቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ከመ፡ ኵሉ፡ ዘገብረ፡ ኢዮአቄም።
西底家行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，是照約雅敬一切所行的。
He did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
24:20
እስመ፡ ኮነ፡ መዐተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ላዕለ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወላዕለ፡ ይሁዳ፡ እስከ፡ አውፅኦሙ፡ እምቅድመ፡ ገጹ፡ ወአፅረሮ፡ ሴዴቅያን፡ ለንጉሠ፡ ባቢሎን።
因此耶和華的怒氣在耶路撒冷和猶大發作，以致將人民從自己面前趕出。
For through the anger of Yahweh, this happened in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence. Then Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
