5:1
ወንእማን፡ መልአከ፡ ስራዊሆሙ፡ ለሶርያ፡ ብእሲ፡ ዕቢይ፡ በቅድመ፡ እግዚኡ፡ ወክቡር፡ ውእቱ፡ ወያከብሮ፡ እስመ፡ በእደ፡ ዚአሁ፡ አድኀኖሙ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለሶርያ፡ ወብእሲ፡ ጽኑዕ፡ ውእቱ፡ ወኀያል፡ ወአኀዞ፡ ለምጽ።
先前亞蘭人成群地出去，從以色列國擄了一個小女子，這女子就服事乃縵的妻。
The Syrians had gone out in bands, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little girl, and she waited on Naaman’s wife.
5:2
ወአመ፡ መጽአ፡ ምስለ፡ ሶርያ፡ ጸብአ፡ ወፄወወ፡ እምነ፡ ምድረ፡ እስራኤል፡ አሐተ፡ ወለተ፡ ነኣሳ፡ ወአንበራ፡ ኀበ፡ ብእሲቱ።
她對主母說：「巴不得我主人去見撒馬利亞的先知，必能治好他的大痲瘋。」
She said to her mistress, “I wish that my lord were with the prophet who is in Samaria! Then he would heal him of his leprosy.”
5:3
ወትቤላ፡ ለእግዝእታ፡ ርቱዕ፡ ይሖር፡ እግዚእየ፡ ኀበ፡ ብእሴ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ነቢይ፡ ዘውስተ፡ ሰማርያ፡ ወይፌውሶ፡ እምዝንቱ፡ ለምጹ።
乃縵進去，告訴他主人說，以色列國的女子如此如此說。
Someone went in and told his lord, saying, “The girl who is from the land of Israel said this.”
5:4
ወቦአት፡ ብእሲቱ፡ ኀቤሁ፡ ወነገረቶ፡ ወትቤሎ፡ ከመዝ፡ ትቤ፡ ዛቲ፡ ወለት፡ እንተ፡ እምብሔረ፡ እስራኤል።
亞蘭王說：「你可以去，我也達信於以色列王。」於是乃縵帶銀子十他連得，金子六千舍客勒，衣裳十套，就去了；
The king of Syria said, “Go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel.” He departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of clothing.
5:5
ወይቤሎ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ሶርያ፡ ለንእማን፡ ነዓ፡ ሖር፡ እፌኑ፡ ለከ፡ መጽሐፈ፡ ኀበ፡ ንጉሠ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወሖረ፡ ወነሥአ፡ ምስሌሁ፡ ፲መክሊተ፡ ብሩረ፡ ወ፰፻ወርቀ፡ ወ፲ዐራዘ፡ አልባስ።
且帶信給以色列王，信上說：「我打發臣僕乃縵去見你，你接到這信，就要治好他的大痲瘋。」
He brought the letter to the king of Israel, saying, “Now when this letter has come to you, behold, I have sent Naaman my servant to you, that you may heal him of his leprosy.”
5:6
ወአብጽሐ፡ መጽሐፈ፡ ኀበ፡ ንጉሠ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወይብል፡ መጽሐፉ፡ ይእዜኒአ፡ እምከመአ፡ በጽሐት፡ ዛቲ፡ መጽሐፍ፡ ኀቤከ፡ ናሁ፡ ፈነውኩ፡ ኀቤከ፡ ንእማን፡ ቍልዔየ፡ ወፈውሶ፡ እምነአ፡ ለምጹአ።
以色列王看了信就撕裂衣服，說：「我豈是上帝，能使人死使人活呢？這人竟打發人來，叫我治好他的大痲瘋。你們看一看，這人何以尋隙攻擊我呢？」
When the king of Israel had read the letter, he tore his clothes and said, “Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man sends to me to heal a man of his leprosy? But please consider and see how he seeks a quarrel against me.”
5:7
ወእምዝ፡ ሶበ፡ አንበባ፡ ንጉሠ፡ እስራኤል፡ ለይእቲ፡ መጽሐፍ፡ ሠጠጠ፡ አልባሲሁ፡ ወይቤ፡ ቦኑ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አነ፡ ከመ፡ እክል፡ ቀቲለ፡ ወአሕይዎ፡ ከመ፡ ይፈኑ፡ ኀቤየ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ብእ[ሴ]፡ ዘለምጽ፡ ወእፈውሶ፡ እምነ፡ ለምጹ ፤ ናሁ፡ ርእዩ፡ ከመ፡ ምክንያተ፡ የኀሥሥ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ለነ።
神人以利沙聽見以色列王撕裂衣服，就打發人去見王，說：「你為甚麼撕了衣服呢？可使那人到我這裏來，他就知道以色列中有先知了。」
It was so, when Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, “Why have you torn your clothes? Let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.”
5:8
ወእምዝ፡ ሶበ፡ ሰምዐ፡ ኤልሳዕ፡ ከመ፡ ሠጠጠ፡ አልባሲሁ፡ ንጉሠ፡ እስራኤል፡ ለአከ፡ ኀበ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ለምንትአ፡ ሠጠጥከአ፡ አልባሲከ ፤ ለይምጻእ፡ ኀቤየ፡ ንእማን፡ ወታአምር፡ ከመ፡ ቦቱ፡ ነቢየ፡ ውስተአ፡ እስራኤልአ።
於是，乃縵帶着車馬到了以利沙的家，站在門前。
So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariots, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha.
5:9
ወሖረ፡ ንእማን፡ በአፍራስ፡ ወበሰረገላት፡ ወቆመ፡ ኀበ፡ ኆኅተ፡ ቤቱ፡ ለኤልሳዕ።
以利沙打發一個使者，對乃縵說：「你去在約旦河中沐浴七回，你的肉就必復原，而得潔淨。」
Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, “Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall come again to you, and you shall be clean.”
5:10
ወለአከ፡ ኀቤሁ፡ ኤልሳዕ፡ እንዘ፡ ይብል፡ ሖርአ፡ ተጠመቅአ፡ ውስተ፡ ተከዚ፡ ዮርዳኖስ፡ ስብዕ፡ ወይገብእ፡ ኅብረ፡ ሥጋከ፡ ወተሐዩአ፡ እምለምጽከአ።
乃縵卻發怒走了，說：「我想他必定出來見我，站着求告耶和華－他上帝的名，在患處以上搖手，治好這大痲瘋。
But Naaman was angry, and went away and said, “Behold, I thought, ‘He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of Yahweh his God, and wave his hand over the place, and heal the leper.’
5:11
ወተምዕዐ፡ ንእማን፡ ወአተወ፡ ወይቤ፡ መሰለኒ፡ ሊተሰ፡ ዘይወፅእ፡ ወይቀውም፡ ኀቤየ፡ ወይጼውዕ፡ ስመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አምላኩ፡ ወይወዲ፡ እዴሁ፡ ዲቤየ፡ ወይፌውሰኒ።
大馬士革的河亞罷拿和法珥法豈不比以色列的一切水更好嗎？我在那裏沐浴不得潔淨嗎？」於是氣忿忿地轉身去了。
Aren’t Abanah and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Couldn’t I wash in them and be clean?” So he turned and went away in a rage.
5:12
ኢይኄይስኑ፡ ማያተ፡ ደማስቆ፡ እምነ፡ ኵሉ፡ ማያቲሆሙ፡ ለእስራኤል፡ ይኄይሱ፡ ፈለገ፡ አበና፡ ወፈለገ፡ ፈርፋ ፤ ኢየሐውርኑ፡ እትኀፀብ፡ ውስቴቶሙ፡ ወእሕየሡ፡ እምነ፡ ለምጽየ፡ ወተግሕሠ፡ ወሖረ፡ እንዘ፡ ይትመዓዕ።
他的僕人進前來，對他說：「我父啊，先知若吩咐你做一件大事，你豈不做嗎？何況說你去沐浴而得潔淨呢？」
His servants came near and spoke to him, and said, “My father, if the prophet had asked you do some great thing, wouldn’t you have done it? How much rather then, when he says to you, ‘Wash, and be clean’?”
5:13
ወመጽኡ፡ ደቁ፡ ኀቤሁ፡ ወይቤልዎ፡ ዐቢየ፡ ነገረ፡ ይቤለከ፡ ነቢይ ፤ ግበር፡ በከመ፡ ይቤለከ፡ ሖር፡ ተኀፀብ፡ ወተሐዩ።
於是乃縵下去，照着神人的話，在約旦河裏沐浴七回；他的肉復原，好像小孩子的肉，他就潔淨了。
Then went he down and dipped himself seven times in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.
5:14
ወሖረ፡ ንእማን፡ ወወረደ፡ ወተጠምቀ፡ ውስተ፡ ፈለገ፡ ዮርዳኖስ፡ ስብዕ፡ በከመ፡ ይቤሎ፡ ኤልሳዕ፡ ወሐይወ፡ ወኮነ፡ ሥጋሁ፡ ከመ፡ ሥጋ፡ ሕፃን፡ ንኡስ።
乃縵帶着一切跟隨他的人，回到神人那裏，站在他面前，說：「如今我知道，除了以色列之外，普天下沒有上帝。現在求你收點僕人的禮物。」
He returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him; and he said, “See now, I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel. Now therefore, please take a gift from your servant.”
5:15
ወገብአ፡ ኀበ፡ ኤልሳ፡ ዕ፡ ለሊሁ፡ ምስለ፡ ኵሉ፡ ትዕይንቱ፡ ወበጽሐ፡ ኀቤሁ፡ ወቆመ፡ ቅድሜሁ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ናሁ፡ አእመርኩ፡ ከመ፡ አልቦቱ፡ አምላከ፡ በኵሉ፡ ምድር፡ እንበለ፡ በውስተ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወይእዜኒ፡ ንሣእ፡ አምኃሁ፡ እምነ፡ እዴሁ፡ ለገብርከ።
以利沙說：「我指着所事奉永生的耶和華起誓，我必不受。」乃縵再三地求他，他卻不受。
But he said, “As Yahweh lives, before whom I stand, I will receive none.” He urged him to take it; but he refused.
5:16
ወይቤሎ፡ ኤልሳዕ፡ ሕያው፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘቆምኩ፡ ቅድሜሁ፡ ከመ፡ ኢይነሥእ፡ ወአስተብቍዖ፡ ይንሣእ፡ ወኦሆ፡ ኢይቤ።
乃縵說：「你若不肯受，請將兩騾子馱的土賜給僕人。從今以後，僕人必不再將燔祭或平安祭獻與別神，只獻給耶和華。
Naaman said, “If not, then, please let two mules’ load of earth be given to your servant; for your servant will from now on offer neither burnt offering nor sacrifice to other gods, but to Yahweh.
5:17
ወይቤሎ፡ ንእማን፡ ወእመ፡ አኮ፡ የሀብዎ፡ ለገብርከ፡ በመስፈርተ፡ ጎሞር፡ ጾረ፡ ፪አብቅል፡ እስመ፡ ኢይገብር፡ ገብርከ፡ እምይእዜ፡ እንከ፡ መሥዋዕተ፡ ለባዕድ፡ አማልክት፡ ዘእንበለ፡ ለግዚአብሔር፡ ለባሕቲቱ፡ በቃለ፡ ዚአከ።
惟有一件事，願耶和華饒恕你僕人：我主人進臨門廟叩拜的時候，我用手攙他在臨門廟，我也屈身。我在臨門廟屈身的這事，願耶和華饒恕我。」
In this thing may Yahweh pardon your servant: when my master goes into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leans on my hand, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon. When I bow myself in the house of Rimmon, may Yahweh pardon your servant in this thing.”
5:18
ወበእንተ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ይሰሪ፡ ሎቱ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለገብርከ፡ ሶበ፡ ይበውእ፡ እግዚእየ፡ ቤተ፡ ሬማን፡ ይሰግድ፡ ሎቱ፡ በህየ፡ ያሰምክ፡ ዲበ፡ እዴየ፡ ወእሰግድ፡ አነኒ፡ ምስሌሁ፡ በቤተ፡ ሬማን፡ ሶበ፡ ሰገደ፡ ውእቱ፡ ውስተ፡ ቤተ፡ ራማን፡ ወይስሪ፡ ሎቱ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለገብርከ፡ እንበይነ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ነገር።
以利沙對他說：「你可以平平安安地回去！」 乃縵就離開他去了；走了不遠，
He said to him, “Go in peace.” So he departed from him a little way.
5:19
ወይቤሎ፡ ኤልሳዕ፡ ለንእማን፡ እቱ፡ እንከሰ፡ በሰላም፡ ወአተወ፡ በሰላም፡ እምኀቤሁ፡ ውስተ፡ ብሔሩ፡ ዴብላታ።
神人以利沙的僕人基哈西心裏說：「我主人不願從這亞蘭人乃縵手裏受他帶來的禮物，我指着永生的耶和華起誓，我必跑去追上他，向他要些。」
But Gehazi the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, “Behold, my master has spared this Naaman the Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought. As Yahweh lives, I will run after him, and take something from him.”
5:20
ወይቤ፡ ግያዝ፡ ቍልዔሁ፡ ለኤልሳዕ፡ ናሁ፡ ምሕኮ፡ እግዚእየ፡ ለንእማን፡ ሶርያዊ፡ ወኢነሥአ፡ እምኔሁ፡ ወኢምንተኒ፡ እምውስተ፡ ዘአምጽአ፡ ሎቱ ፤ ሕያው፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ከመ፡ እረውጽ፡ እትልዎ፡ ወእነሥእ፡ እምኔሁ፡ ዘኮነ።
於是基哈西追趕乃縵。乃縵看見有人追趕，就急忙下車迎着他，說：「都平安嗎？」
So Gehazi followed after Naaman. When Naaman saw one running after him, he came down from the chariot to meet him, and said, “Is all well?”
5:21
ወዴገኖ፡ ግያዝ፡ ወተለዎ፡ ለንእማን፡ ወተመይጠ፡ ንእማን፡ ወርእዮ፡ እንዘ፡ ይተልዎ፡ እምድኅሬሁ፡ ወወረደ፡ እምውስተ፡ ሰረገላሁ፡ ወገብአ፡ ወተቀበሎ።
說：「都平安。我主人打發我來說：『剛才有兩個少年人，是先知門徒，從以法蓮山地來見我，請你賜他們一他連得銀子，兩套衣裳。』」
He said, “All is well. My master has sent me, saying, ‘Behold, even now two young men of the sons of the prophets have come to me from the hill country of Ephraim. Please give them a talent of silver and two changes of clothing.’”
5:22
ወይቤሎ፡ ሰላም፡ ለከ ፤ እግዚእየ፡ ለአከኒ፡ ኀቤከ፡ ወይቤለከ፡ እስመአ፡ በጽሑአ፡ ኀቤየ፡ ፪ዕደው፡ እምነ፡ ደብረ፡ ኤፍራም፡ እምውስተ፡ ደቀ፡ ነቢያት፡ ወሀቦሙ፡ መክሊተ፡ ብሩርአ፡ ወ፪አልባስ፡ ዐራዞሙአ።
乃縵說：「請受二他連得」；再三地請受，便將二他連得銀子裝在兩個口袋裏，又將兩套衣裳交給兩個僕人；他們就在基哈西前頭抬着走。
Naaman said, “Be pleased to take two talents.” He urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of clothing, and laid them on two of his servants; and they carried them before him.
5:23
ወይቤሎ፡ ንእማን፡ ንሣእ፡ ፪መክሊተ፡ ወነሥአ፡ ወወደዮ፡ ውስተ፡ መሥንቅ፡ ፪ወአልባሰ፡ ዐራዝ፡ ፪ወአጾረ፡ ሎቱ፡ ፪እምውስተ፡ ደቁ፡ ወሖሩ፡ ቅድሜሁ።
到了山岡，基哈西從他們手中接過來，放在屋裏，打發他們回去。
When he came to the hill, he took them from their hand, and stored them in the house. Then he let the men go, and they departed.
5:24
ወቦኡ፡ ውስተ፡ ጽልመት፡ ወእምዝ፡ ተመጠዎሙ፡ ወአብአ፡ ቤቶ፡ ወፈነዎሙ፡ ለእሙንቱ፡ ዕደው።
基哈西進去，站在他主人面前。以利沙問他說：「基哈西你從哪裏來？」回答說：「僕人沒有往哪裏去。」
But he went in, and stood before his master. Elisha said to him, “Where did you come from, Gehazi?” He said, “Your servant went nowhere.”
5:25
ወእምዝ፡ ቦአ፡ ወቆመ፡ ቅድመ፡ እግዚኡ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ኤልሳዕ፡ ለግያዝ፡ እምአይቴ፡ አንተ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ግያዝ፡ አልቦ፡ ኀበ፡ ሖረ፡ ገብርከ፡ ወኢአይቴኒ።
以利沙對他說：「那人下車轉回迎你的時候，我的心豈沒有去呢？這豈是受銀子、衣裳、買橄欖園、葡萄園、牛羊、僕婢的時候呢？
He said to him, “Didn’t my heart go with you when the man turned from his chariot to meet you? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and olive groves and vineyards, and sheep and cattle, and male servants and female servants?
5:26
ወይቤሎ፡ ኤልሳዕ፡ አኮኑ፡ ልብየ፡ ሖረ፡ ምስሌከ፡ ወሶበ፡ ተመይጠ፡ ብእሲ፡ እምላዕለ፡ ሰረገላሁ፡ ወተቀበለከ፡ ወይእዜኒ፡ ወርቅስ፡ ነሣእከ፡ ወይእዜኒ፡ አልባስ፡ ነሣእከ፡ ወይኩንከ፡ ለዐጸደ፡ ወይን፡ ወለዐጸደ፡ ወፍር፡ ወለዐጸደ፡ ቅብእ፡ ወለአልህምትኒ፡ ወለአባግዕኒ፡ ወለአግብርትኒ፡ ወለአእማትኒ።
因此，乃縵的大痲瘋必沾染你和你的後裔，直到永遠。」基哈西從以利沙面前退出去，就長了大痲瘋，像雪那樣白。
Therefore the leprosy of Naaman will cling to you and to your offspring forever.” He went out from his presence a leper, as white as snow.
5:27
ወባሕቱ፡ ለምጹ፡ ለንእማን፡ ይግባእ፡ ላዕሌከ፡ ወላዕለ፡ ውሉድከ፡ እስከ፡ ለዓለም ፤ወበጊዜሃ፡ አኀዞ፡ ለምጸ፡ ንእማን፡ ለግያዝ፡ ወወፅአ፡ እምቅድመ፡ ገጹ፡ ለኤልሳዕ፡ ግያዝ፡ እንዘ፡ ኵለንታሁ፡ ለምጽ፡ ጸዐዳ፡ ከመ፡ በረድ።
先知門徒對以利沙說：「看哪，我們同你所住的地方過於窄小，
The sons of the prophets said to Elisha, “See now, the place where we live and meet with you is too small for us.
