2:1
ወአቀመአምላክነቃሎዘነበበበላዕሌነወበላዕለመሳፍንቲነዘኰነንዎለእስራኤልወበላዕለነገሥታቲነወላዕለመኳንንቲወላዕለኵሉእስራኤልወይሁዳ
上主便應驗了祂論到我們、論到審判以色列的審判官、論到我們的君王、我們的首領,以及論到以色列和猶大人所說的話,
Therefore the Lord has made good his word, which he pronounced against us, and against our judges that judged Israel, and against our kings, and against our princes, and against the men of Israel and Judah,
2:2
ከመያመጽእላዕሌነኵሎእኩየዘኢኮነበታሕተሰማይበከመገብረበኢየሩሳሌምበከመጽሑፍውስተኦሪተሙሴ
在耶路撒冷照梅瑟法律上所記的,向我們行了普天之下從未有過的事,
to bring upon us great plagues, such as never happened under the whole heaven, as it came to pass in Jerusalem, according to the things that are written in the law of Moses;
2:3
ወበልዐሰብእሥጋደቂቁወአዋልዲሁ
以致我們竟有人喫自己兒子的肉,也有人喫自己女兒的肉。
That we should eat every man the flesh of his own son, and every man the flesh of his own daughter.
2:4
ወመጠዎሙውስተእዴሆሙለኵሎሙነገሥትእለዐውድነለኃሣርወለተመንድቦበኀበኵሎሙአሕዛብእለበዐውድነኀበዘረዎሙእግዚአብሔርህየ
祂又使他們淪落在我們四圍的萬國手下,在主分散他們所到的四周各民族中,成為羞辱和荒涼。
Moreover he has given them to be in subjection to all the kingdoms that are round about us, to be a reproach and a desolation among all the people round about, where the Lord has scattered them.
2:5
ወኮነታሕተወአኮላዕለእስመአበስነለእግዚአብሔርአምላክነእንዘኢንትኤዘዝለቃሉ
他們便淪為卑下,不得高升,因為我們得罪了上主我們的天主,不肯聽從祂的聲音。
Thus were they cast down, and not exalted, because we sinned against the Lord our God, in not hearkening to his voice.
2:6
ለእግዚአብሔርአምላክነጽድቅለነሰወለአበዊነኃፍረተገጽበከመዛቲዕለት
正義屬於上主我們的天主,至於我們和我們的祖先,卻是滿面羞愧,正如今日所見的。
To the Lord our God belongs righteousness: but to us and to our fathers confusion of face, as at this day.
2:7
እስመነበበእግዚአብሔርላዕሌነኵሎእኩየዘበጽሐዲቤነ
上主論到我們所說的這一切災禍,都臨到了我們身上。
For all these plagues are come upon us, which the Lord has pronounced against us.
2:8
ወኢጸለይነቅድመገጹለእግዚአብሔርአምላክነከመንትመየጥብእሲብእሲእምፍኖተልብነእኩይ
然而我們仍未懇求上主的恩慈,使我們各人回轉,離棄自己邪惡之心的意念。
Yet have we not entreated the favor of the Lord, in turning every one from the thoughts of his wicked heart.
2:9
ወነቅሐእግዚአብሔርለምንዳቤወአምጽአላዕሌነእስመጻድቅእግዚአብሔርበኵሉግብሩዘአዘዘበላዕሌነ
因此上主便密切留意這些災禍,使它們臨到我們身上;因為上主在祂吩咐我們的一切作為上都是公義的,
Therefore has the Lord kept watch over the plagues, and the Lord has brought them upon us; for the Lord is righteous in all his works which he has commanded us.
2:10
ወኢሰማዕነቃሎከመንሑርበትእዛዛቲሁለእግዚአብሔርዘወሀበቅድመገጽነ
我們卻沒有聽從祂的聲音,不肯遵行上主擺在我們面前的誡命。
Yet we have not hearkened to his voice, to walk in the commandments of the Lord that he has set before us.
2:11
ወይእዜኒእግዚኦአምላከእስራኤልዘአውፃእከሕዝበከእምድረግብጽበእድጽንዕትወበትእምርትወበመንክርወበኃይልዐቢይወበመዝራዕትልዑልወረሰይከለከስመበከመዛቲዕለት
上主,以色列的天主啊,你曾以大能的手、以神蹟奇事、以大力和高舉的手臂,領你的子民出了埃及地,為你自己立了名聲,正如今日所見的。
And now, O Lord, you God of Israel, that have brought your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with signs, and with wonders, and with great power, and with a high arm, and have gotten yourself a name, as at this day:
2:12
አበስነወገበርነእኩየሕሡመገበርነእግዚኦአምላክነበኵሉጽድቅ
上主我們的天主啊,我們犯了罪,行了不虔敬的事,在你一切的法度上行了不義。
O Lord our God, we have sinned, we have done ungodly, we have dealt unrighteously in all your ordinances.
2:13
አቊርርመዐተከእምኔነእስመኅዳጥተረፍነበውስተአሕዛብኀበዘሮከነህየ
求你使你的怒氣從我們身上轉離,因為在你把我們分散所到的列邦中,我們只剩下少數人了。
Let your wrath turn from us: for we are but a few left among the heathen, where you have scattered us.
2:14
ስማዕእግዚኦስእለተነወጸሎትነወአድኅነነበእንተስምከወሀበነንርከብሞገሰቅድመገጾሙለእለፄወዉነ
上主啊,求你垂聽我們的禱告和懇求,為你自己的緣故拯救我們,使我們在那擄掠我們的人面前蒙恩,
Hear our prayer, O Lord, and our petition, and deliver us for your own sake, and give us favor in the sight of them which have led us away captive:
2:15
ከመታእምርኵላምድርከመአንተውእቱእግዚአብሔርአምላክነእስመተጸውዐስምከበላዕለእስራኤልወበላዕለዘመዱ
好叫全地知道你是上主我們的天主,因為以色列和他的後裔都是以你的名而稱的。
that all the earth may know that you are the Lord our God, because Israel and his posterity is called by your name.
2:16
ነጽርእግዚኦእምቤተመቅደስከወአጽምዕእዝነከእግዚኦኀቤነወስምዐነ
上主啊,求你從你的聖所垂顧我們,眷念我們;上主啊,求你側耳垂聽。
O Lord, look down from your holy house, and consider us: incline your ear, O Lord, and hear:
2:17
ክሥትአዕይንተከወርኢእስመአኮሙታንእለውስተሲኦልእለመንፈሶሙወፅአትእምከርሦሙዘይሴብሑከወይገንዩለከእግዚኦ
上主啊,求你睜開眼觀看,因為那些已死、在陰府裏、靈魂已從身內被取去的人,並不能將榮耀和公義歸於上主;
open your eyes, and behold: for the dead that are in the grave, whose breath is taken from their bodies, will give to the Lord neither glory nor righteousness:
2:18
ዳእሙነፍስትክዝትበብዝኀምንዳቤዘተሐውርኅዝንታወሕምምታወአዕይንትዘለከዋወነፍስርኅብትየአኵታከወይገንያለጽድቅከእግዚኦ
唯有那為極大苦難而憂傷、彎腰俯首、軟弱無力的人,那雙目昏花、飢餓難當的人,才能將榮耀和公義歸於你,上主啊。
but the soul that is greatly vexed, which goes stooping and feeble, and the eyes that fail, and the hungry soul, will give you glory and righteousness, O Lord.
2:19
እስመአኮበከመጽድቆሙለአበዊነወነገሥታቲነዘሰአልነምሕረተበቅድመገጽከእግዚኦአምላክነ
上主我們的天主啊,我們在你面前傾倒我們的哀求,並不是憑著我們祖先和我們君王的義行,
For we do not present our supplication before you, O Lord our God, for the righteousness of our fathers, and of our kings.
2:20
እስመፈኖከመዐተከወመቅሠፍተከላዕሌነበከመነበብከበእደአግብርቲከነቢያት
因為你已照你藉你僕人眾先知所說的話,把你的怒氣和忿怒傾倒在我們身上,說:
For you have sent your wrath and your indignation upon us, as you have spoken by your servants the prophets, saying,
2:21
ከመይቤእግዚአብሔርአድንኑመትከፍተክሙወተቀነዩለንጉሠባቢሎንወትነብሩውስተምድርእንተወሀብክዎሙለአበዊክሙ
『上主這樣說:你們要低下肩頭,服事巴比倫王,便可安居在我賜給你們祖先的地上。
Thus says the Lord, Bow your shoulders to serve the king of Babylon, and remain in the land that I gave to your fathers.
2:22
ወእመኢሰማዕክሙቃለእግዚአብሔርወኢተቀነይክሙለንጉሠባቢሎን
但你們若不聽從上主的聲音,去服事巴比倫王,
But if you⌃ will not hear the voice of the Lord, to serve the king of Babylon,
2:23
የኀልቅእምነአህጉረይሁዳወእምአፍአሃለኢየሩሳሌምቃለትፍሥሕትወኃሤትቃለመርዓዊወመርዓትወይከውንኵሉምድርበድወእምእለየኀድርዎ
我必使猶大各城和耶路撒冷郊外歡欣的聲音、喜樂的聲音、新郎的聲音和新娘的聲音都止息;全地必荒涼無人居住。』
I will cause to cease out of the cities of Judah, and from without Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: and the whole land shall be desolate without inhabitant.
2:24
ወኢሰማዕነቃለከወኢተቀነይነለንጉሠባቢሎን
我們卻不肯聽從你的聲音去服事巴比倫王,於是你便應驗了你藉你僕人眾先知所說的話,使我們君王的骸骨和我們祖先的骸骨從本處被掘出來。
But we would not hearken to your voice, to serve the king of Babylon: therefore have you made good your words that you spoke by your servants the prophets, namely, that the bones of our kings, and the bones of our fathers, should be taken out of their places.
2:25
ወናሁገደፍዎሙውስተዋዕየመዓልትወቊረሌሊትተፄወውነወሞትነእኩየሞተበረኃብወበኵናት
看,這些骸骨被拋棄在外,日間受炎熱,夜間受嚴霜,他們竟在飢荒、刀劍和瘟疫的慘苦中死去了。
And, behold, they are cast out to the heat by day, and to the frost by night, and they died in great miseries by famine, by sword, and by pestilence.
2:26
ወሐነጽከመቅደስዘበውስቴቱተጸውዐስምከበከመዛቲዕለትበእንተኀጢአቶሙለቤተእስራኤልወለቤተይሁዳ
那稱為你名下的殿宇,你也任憑它荒廢,正如今日所見的,這都是因以色列家和猶大家的邪惡。
And the house which is called by your name have you laid waste, as at this day, for the wickedness of the house of Israel and the house of Judah.
2:27
ወገበርከላዕሌነእግዚኦአምላክነበከመኵሉኂሩትከወበከመኵሉሣህልከዐቢይ
上主我們的天主啊,你卻照你一切的寬厚,照你那偉大的憐憫待我們,
Yet, O Lord our God, you have dealt with us after all your kindness, and according to all that great mercy of your,
2:28
በከመነበብከበእደሙሴቊልዔከበዕለትእንተባቲአዘዝኮይጽሐፍሕገከበቅድመደቂቀእስራኤልእንዘትትብል
正如你藉你僕人梅瑟所說的話,就是在你吩咐他在以色列子民面前書寫你的法律那一天所說的,
as you spoke by your servant Moses in the day when you did command him to write your law before the children of Israel, saying,
2:29
ለእመኢሰማዕክሙቃልየአማነዛቲብዝኀክሙትትመየጥለኅዳጥበማእከለአሕዛብእለኀቤሆሙእዘርወክሙ
說:『你們若不聽從我的聲音,這浩大喧嘩的羣眾必減為少數,散落在我把他們分散到的列邦中。
If you⌃ will not hear my voice, surely this very great multitude shall be turned into a small number among the nations, where I will scatter them.
2:30
ወአእመርክዎሙከመኢይሰምዑኒእስመሕዝብጽኑዓነክሳድእሙንቱ
因為我知道他們必不聽從我,因為他們是執拗的民族;但在他們被擄之地,他們必迴心轉意,
For I know that they will not hear me, because it is a stiff-necked people: but in the land of their captivity they shall take it to heart,
2:31
ወየአምሩከመአነውእቱእግዚአብሔርአምላኮሙ
並要知道我是上主他們的天主。我必賜給他們一顆心和能聽的耳,
and shall know that I am the Lord their God: and I will give them a heart, and ears to hear:
2:32
ወይሴብሑኒበብሔርኀበአፍለስክዎሙወይዜከሩስምየ
他們便要在被擄之地讚美我,記念我的名,
and they shall praise me in the land of their captivity, and think upon my name,
2:33
ወይትመየጡእምጽኑዕልቦሙወእምእኩይምግባሮሙወይዜከሩፍኖተአበዊሆሙእለአበሱቅድመእግዚአብሔር
並要回轉,離棄他們執拗的硬頸和他們邪惡的行為;因為他們要記起他們祖先在上主面前犯罪所行的道路。
and shall return from their stiff neck, and from their wicked deeds: for they shall remember the way of their fathers, which sinned before the Lord.
2:34
ወአገብኦሙብሔረኀበመሐልኩለአበዊሆሙለአብርሃምወለይስሐቅወለያዕቆብወይኴንንዋወአበዝኆሙወኢይውሕዱ
我必領他們回到我向他們祖先亞巴郎、依撒格、雅各伯起誓應許的地上,他們必擁有那地為業。我必使他們增多,他們必不減少。
And I will bring them again into the land which I sware to their fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, and they shall be lords of it: and I will increase them, and they shall not be diminished.
2:35
ወእሠርዕሎሙሥርዓተዘለዓለምከመእኩኖሙአምላኮሙወእሙንቱኒይከውኑኒሕዝብየ
我必與他們立永遠的盟約,作他們的天主,他們要作我的子民;我也必不再使我的子民以色列從我所賜給他們的地上遷移。』
And I will make an everlasting covenant with them to be their God, and they shall be my people: and I will no more remove my people of Israel out of the land that I have given them.
