5:1
አእትቲ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ አልባሰ፡ ላሕኪ፡ ወሕማመኪ፡ ወልበሲ፡ ትርሲተ፡ ክብርኪ፡ ዘእምኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለዓለም።
耶路撒冷啊，你要脫去你哀傷愁苦的衣裳，永遠穿上那從天主而來之榮耀的華美。
Put off, O Jerusalem, the garment of your mourning and affliction, and put on the comeliness of the glory that comes from God forever.
5:2
ወተዐፀፊ፡ ዐፅፈ፡ ጽድቅ፡ ዘእምኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወተቀጸሊ፡ ቀጸላኪ፡ ውስተ፡ ርእስኪ፡ ዘስብሐቲሁ፡ ቅዱስ።
你要披上那從天主而來之正義的外袍，把那永生者榮耀的冠冕戴在你頭上。
Cast about you the robe of the righteousness which comes from God; set a diadem on your head of the glory of the Everlasting.
5:3
እስመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ያርኢ፡ ለኵሉ፡ ዘታሕተ፡ ሰማይ፡ ብርሃነኪ።
因為天主要使普天下都看見你的光輝。
For God will show your brightness to every region under heaven.
5:4
ወይሰመይ፡ ስምኪ፡ ለዓለም፡ በኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ጽድቅ፡ ወሰላም፡ ወክብር፡ ወፍርሃተ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
因為天主要永遠稱你的名為『正義的平安』和『虔敬的榮耀』。
For your name shall be called of God forever The peace of righteousness, and The glory of godliness.
5:5
ተንሥኢ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወቁሚ፡ መልዕልተ፡ ወነጽሪ፡ መንገለ፡ ጽባሕ፡ ወርእዪ፡ ከመ፡ ተጋብኡ፡ ደቂቅኪ፡ እምኀበ፡ ምዕራበ፡ ፀሐይ፡ ወእስከነ፡ ጽባሕ፡ በቃሉ፡ ለቅዱስ፡ ወይትፌሥሑ፡ በዝክረ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
耶路撒冷啊，起來，站在高處，向東觀望，看你的兒女聽從聖者的話，從日落之地到日出之處聚集回來，因天主記唸了他們而歡欣。
Arise, O Jerusalem, and stand upon the height, and look about you toward the east, and behold your children gathered from the going down of the sun to the rising thereof at the word of the Holy One, rejoicing that God has remembered them.
5:6
ወፅኡ፡ እምኀቤኪ፡ ወወሰድዎሙ፡ ፀሮሙ፡ በእግሮሙ፡ ወያመጽኦሙ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ኀቤኪ፡ እንዘ፡ ይጸውርዎሙ፡ በክብር፡ ከመ፡ መንበረ፡ ንጉሥ።
因為他們從前徒步離開你，被仇敵帶走；如今天主卻使他們在榮耀中被高高擡回到你這裏來，如同坐在王位上一般。
For they went from you on foot, being led away of their enemies: but God brings them in to you borne on high with glory, as on a royal throne.
5:7
ወአዘዘ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ይተሐት፡ ኵሉ፡ አድባር፡ ነዋኃት፡ ወአውግር፡ ዘለዓለም፡ ወይምላእ፡ ኵሉ፡ ማዕምቅ፡ ወይዕሪ፡ ምድር፡ ከመ፡ ይሑር፡ እስራኤል፡ መጽያሕተ፡ በስብሐተ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
因為天主已下令，要使一切高山和萬古的丘陵降為平地，使深谷填滿，使地面平坦，好叫以色列在天主的榮耀中安然前行。
For God has appointed that every high mountain, and the everlasting hills, should be made low, and the valleys filled up, to make plain the ground, that Israel may go safely in the glory of God.
5:8
ወይጼልሎሙ፡ ኵሉ፡ ዖም፡ ወኵሉ፡ ዕፅ፡ ሠናየ፡ መዐዛ፡ ለእስራኤል፡ በትአዛዘ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
連那些樹林和一切芬芳的樹木，也都奉天主的命令為以色列遮蔭。
Moreover the woods and every sweet smelling tree have overshadowed Israel by the commandment of God.
5:9
እስመ፡ ያመጽኦሙ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለእስራኤል፡ በፍሥሓ፡ ወበብርሃነ፡ ስብሐቲሁ፡ ወበምሕረቱ፡ ወበጽድቁ፡ ዘእምኔሁ፡ ይእቲ።
因為天主要在祂榮耀的光輝中，以那從祂而來的仁慈和正義，歡欣地引領以色列。
For God shall lead Israel with joy in the light of his glory with the mercy and righteousness that comes from him.
